One of the best indian store I have visited in the Folsom area. Wide varieties of Indian/Asian fresh & frozen vegitables, fruites, sweets, snacks, groceries, Utensils, cosmetics, Pooja Items, under one roof. The store is fully stocked especially during weekends. I really like the variety and freshness of indian vegitables during weekends. I didnt have data to compare the prices with other stores.

I am a busy working mom and usually dont have time to give reviews but this is the Worst store I have visited so far in my life in US (been living since 15 plus years) hence felt worth sharing my experience. Firstly I came to know about this from one of our neighbors, and blindly went without checking any reviews and now after buying so much stuff (made 280$ bill in one stop - blindly I bought in a rush due to Covid 19 restrictions, I bought more) and I realize later EVRYTHING WAS WAY MORE PRICIER than anywhere else, many of the snacks are EXPIRED and I saw after getting home, and then the veggies bought here got spoiled v fast, smelled awful. OKARA was v hard and rough. The Karela (Kakarakaya) when cut I find purple shade seeds - Attached the picture, when I called to the store to inform, the person who picked the phone spoke ok for a few minutes, then he gave to another guy saying the manger and he was raising voice and talking like yelling, then I asked why are you raising voice, I called to give a feedback not complaint you or your store did as such but then also he was shouting like a village fellow saying you expect all of us to cut the veggies and check for you this and that....and that he was running 3 store, no one complained like this n that.........literally he was yelling onto me, v rude and harsh language he was using - totally un meaningful sentences......I have never faced a customer service or experience like this. I can tell more, but being a busy mom of 2 kids cant type more........V cheap behavior - I have a gut feeling he is the owner of the store.I TRULY WISH I READ REVIEWS BEFORE GOING TO THIS STORE. all negative reviews both on google and yelp. A v good lesson for me. Hope this review gets posted soon.

They have a great selection but the wasnt anyone there to help other than their son that was super young.

First, no adult supervision. A child is left to take care of the store. Owner should be ashamed. Secondly, scanner doesn’t work so god knows what the actual cost of products is. Thirdly, reception service is the worst I have seen in United States. I would recommend to go to different Indian store than here to save time and money and get quality products at fair rates.

Prices are high. Maybe thats why they dont even put price labels on things so we have to ask the lady.

Selling Expired products, very rude on customers, prices are very high compare to other Indian stores. We Showed some of the products which were expired in 2015 to owner but he simply said buy in another store and he never removed expired products from the store.

Worst experience with desi bazar owner no respect for customers , worst customer service I ever seen in USA I heard him yelling at customers (saying don’t come to my store) and abusing to employee etc I will never ever go to his store again and not recommend anyone to go. Lady who seat in counter is a big cheater and about the same gone case as him looks like that his wife only. I saw so many negative comment over here but I still decided to go to his store it was my huge mistake.please guys stay away and try to learn from negative comments here

Can do groceries Indian spices as pick up

IF only I could give them a 0! The cashier was so disrespectful! He left the store to I guess attend his other store while customers 3 customers were in line waiting to check out . Then while he is ringing my products up he STOPS to answer his phone and just stops and starts talking on his phone while I wait. So Im standing there to pay for my products and he completely ignores that to start a conversation on the phone and goes on for minutes laughing. I will happily drive 30 minutes to the next Indian grocery store rather then deal with this!

Good place to buy Indian spices and groceries. But Indian vegetables are not fresh. They are currently setting up a cooler to keep the vegetables fresh. Hopefully buying vegetables here will be a good experience in near future.

They dont write prices on their products and they charge whatever they feel like. I bought Maggie masala for $1.99 and they charged me $4.99. They are big cheaters. Owner is very rude.

Very deceitful store! Doesn’t display prices on the products. Will charge prices substantially higher than other stores in the neighborhood. Why go here when there are tons of better options. Lesson learned. Adios desi grocery!

Very helpful and nice. I didnt know anything about indian food or cusine and they were extremely helpful and their creme horns are to die for. The vanilla ones are da bomb!

Great selection and prices. I needed some garbanzo beans that they didnt have in the store. The gentleman at the counter ran nextdoor to the sister store to grab them for me. Ill be coming back here.

Indian grocery . good for fresh vegetables and Indian spices .Poor customer service and lots of expired items . So always check the dates . Yesterday I had a bad experience in the meat department. The butchers behavior was rude and unacceptable. I will never go there again.

Why there is no option to give 0000000 rating. the owner guy name is Krishna , I never met guy like him in my entire life he is so evil , I worked in his store for one day firstly he will pay $8 per hour and make his employee to work 11 hours a day most of his employees don’t have work permit or green card everyone working under the table so he takes advantage of that and employee can take break only for 20 min in whole 11 hours shift he said as per the law we are only allowed to give break for 20 min and when I questioned him regarding same he said don’t teach me the law. Lol I don’t know in which world he is living in , when I look at him I see one dead body, probably his parents doesn’t teach him anything . Pathetic dirty guy I ever came across in usa. Most imp things he has one Restutrant too somewhere he takes bad vegetables from his store instead of throwing he said he will use this vegetables in restaurants and make his customer eat that god promise I am not lying or anything like that just wanted to share my one day experience with his dirty animal man

This shop has a huge variety of Indian groceries including an organic food section. The only issue I have is that things are not in an orderly fashion so it can be hard to find what you are looking for. The people are very nice.

Worst experience. No one star for this store. Owner, lady is big cheater. If you buy many items, they will increase price of item by 20 % and also will say that price marked was old , this is new one. Another unbelief cheating one can do is put expired item which you have not taken in chart and add to your bill as grocery no tax without barcode scan. Beware. Keep eye on lady as she is very dishonest person in this world. Dont let them charge unnecessary and refuse items which they charge more than priced marked. Also keep eye on her while scanning as she can add up grocery no tax items without barcode by typing in bill. Finally watch for dates, as many items has expired is also sell by store. Please consumer department take action against this fraud store.

Nice small store but good selection of food items and vegetables. Produce is normally fresh on weekends but on weekdays its generally not that fresh. Good selwction of vegetables.This place carries amazing Indian kind mangoes, sweet as they can possibly be. If you want indian mangoes this is the place. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Few things seems overpriced but that happens in literally every indian store. If you go in another one somw other things will be. That is the only con I found though. They carry almost everything so I never feel like I have to go to some other indian store to find something.

This store is one of the bad stores I came across.He sells his expired product as well and when you go back to return it they will take it back but there is no respect for you.As mentioned above by other people the owner of this shop is very disrespectful and when i returned the expired product to him he asked me not to come to the store because I show him how many products are expired.This is really very bad experience for me, looks like he made this over night so he do not respect to anyone.

Shop is very congested and customer service is worst. Prices are not written properly. Lady in the counter is very rude and she takes customer for granted. If you ask about the product then she gives false information about the product.

Asked for credit he ran it as debit and said he couldnt run it as a credit card the second time.
