Didnt even get to try the food, and dont even care to come back to try... my party of 4 waited in line in a tiny hallway for over 45 minutes while they kept calling parties of one and two that came in well after us to be seated at least 10 others that came in after us..
Usually a wait (since its a small space) but its worth it. Great diner style breakfast and the waitresses are always really nice. They used to be cash only, but now take card as well.

Really nice place. Myself and two others were seated right away. Menu was simple without too many items. Food was served very quick after ordering. Food was exactly how youd image diner food to taste but better. Has plenty of of table and counter seats, so you could dine alone or in a group. The staff was all very nice. Regulars were greeted by everyone, but werent pulling servers away from others. Bill was very cheap, only about $10 per person for a big plate. Overall, great place for a good breakfast or lunch.

Been going to trackside for breakfast for years. By far the best breakfast in the area. My only complaint is that they dont serve hash browns, and for some reason they dont want to. Been trying to get them to start for a while now.

Horrible customer service as a young woman. First time I walked I was sat at the counter by the hostess and immediately ordered a coffee. They then asked if I was waiting for a friend and I said yes they will be along in 10 minutes, the hostess then says she cant seat me....motioned her hand in the direction of the door and said I had to wait outside until my friend arrived......even after she already sat me and I ordered a coffee...... Only after I said I was there to order ahead of time because my friend had a short lunch break did the hostess change her mind and scoff fine what can I get for you. I was so upset I got up and left. Customers cant be treated that way.
The Trackside Cafe is my favorite breakfast/ lunch restaurant. The food is delicious and the waitstaff is super friendly and excellent at what they do. I highly recommend the Trackside Cafe!!

One of the best cups of coffee anywhere, friendly staff and great food. Its a hidden gem and someplace you wouldnt expect to find a real home town breakfast place.Expert tip: dont forget to try the grilled donut! Its simple but delicious, especially with a hot cup of coffee.

Classic diner experience tucked away in the back of a convenience store. Popular with locals... outstanding food...cash only, but theres an ATM right there. Pony up the extra $ for the homemade hash... Irish Benedict makes me weep with joy. Happy place 😀. I almost dont want to tell people because I might have to wait longer 😆

The most important thing about a restaurant is ,how clean it is. Trackside passed my test on that issue. The bisquits and gravy was very tasty(you northern folks should try it)Servers were quick and efficient. The prices were on the high side of average. End of the day? We will be back.

It used to be better. Service was good. Food is bland. Homefries tasted of a lot of garlic, but no salt. I had the eggs florentine. Spinach was raw, didnt hit the grill, hollandaise was tasteless and thin. Everyone is having tough times esp. restaurants, I get that, but I used to love this place as a solid local but was disappointed this time in a significant way. Ill try again maybe this winter and will update then. Not writing this place off, just cant give it the hype Id love to.
Exceptional service by a fantastic waitstaff. Food is very good, prices are reasonable, and the owner, Jason, is committed to delivering a good breakfast experience. During this unique COVID-19 time, they are very conscious about safe social distancing and sanitization of the tables after guests leave. My server, Lisa, was outstanding - very polite, upbeat, and always aware of when the coffee needed a refill. She and her cohort, Tammy, work extremely well together. Thats a reflection on Jasons ownership, management style, and hiring practices. I would highly recommend this as a breakfast spot!

The Western scramble is one of my favorite breakfasts on the planet... Even good for lunch. The cooks there have a way with eggs- they come out perfect every time. Never disappointed.

Trackside cafe is awesome. A bit quirky being located in a corner store but cool history that it is the old train station. Homemade hash is incredible.
Awesome food, awesome prices, and the staff are awesome people. I find myself going here a few times a week...Also, if you like corned beef hash Ive never had better than at Trackside. Get the Irish Benedict with the homemade hash and you can thank me later.

Delicious American diner breakfast and lunch foods. In old train Depot building (you have to walk through a convenience store to get to the cafe). Trains pass within feet of the windows. Wonderful breakfast and lunch place! Counter stools and tables are available.

I get to this area two or three times per year and make it a point to take in a meal at Trackside, usually for breakfast. On my most recent visit I had a chef salad. As has been the case with the breakfasts Ive had, the salad was great. The service is quick and friendly.
Food and service are excellent. Neighborhood diner ambience. Great house made hash in 3 egg omelet and house made baked beans. Unlikely location in the back of a store, but well worth the visit.

I love this historic old train station cafe and variety store, aka Jerrys. Service dog friendly, great neighborhood atmosphere, scenic. Perfect if youre catching the train to Anywhere. Great food, good prices, wonderful waitstaff.
Best breakfast Ive ever had. Try the homemade hash (incredible) and the biscuits and gravy. My favorite is the Country Benny which is a grilled biscuit with sausage patties and poached eggs with sausage gravy on top. If you can finish it you are a man, even if you are a girl.

I love this place! I will only be going here from now on. Any time I try a different place Im just never as satisfied. The food is so good! All the servers are very friendly and seem to work hard and stay on top of things. I only go on Sunday mornings since I work the rest of the week and there is usually a bit of a wait, but I always hang out because its definitely worth it.

Quaint and tucked away deep in Exeter. The food is traditional and good. They offer homemade hash as well as canned (Its nice to have the option) can get as little cramped. Had a very good historical feel especially since its next to the tracks inside a convenience store.
Food was fine but terrible service. Two out of the three three waitresses we interacted with were incredibly rude and unprofessional before and throughout our meal.

Great! Discovered by accident while on a road trip and under normal circumstances, I might not have gone in because it resembles a country store from the outside. But it was terrific! Behind the retail area is a fairly roomy breakfast room and the food was excellent! Great service, very low prices were a bonus!

New breakfast spot came upon it quite by accident cash only dont worry it is very reasonable, and there bnb is an ATM on the premises in case you forgot your cash, waitstaff is top notch, great coffee very clean sit in the back and you can watch the DownEaster go by or pick up a few passengers. The classic S.O.S. is fantastic, huge chunks of sausage seasoned perfectly. If youre like me and constantly searching for trying new breakfast places this one will take awhile for you to go through the whole menu 😍
