Tried to obtain my second Jaguar after a very successful first purchase and great car driving experience. Negotiated my trade and new lease. Signed contract, paid first month, left dealership only to get a call that my deal was cancelled cause the numbers didnt work. Asked about a counteroffer, etc. as I really wanted to stay in the Jaguar family. No response, no details....moved on. End of my Jaguar ownership. Good luck buying anything here. UPDATE: They closed their operation.

Steve DeSisto and team did it again. Second Jaguar from them. Same hassle free and fully transparent approach from this team. They took the the time to fully understand our needs and requirements and worked with us till they were able to deliver. Simple, stress free, no pressure approach. I highly recommend them. Mike Palmer is the best! He was very helpful and patient while we worked on getting the financing for our pre-owned vehicle that we bought there! We bought a BMW 328i xDrive! It was so straightforward and easy. The car in in great shape, and he has had great communication the whole time!Thank you Mike and everyone else @ the Jaguar dealership! For my wife it was time for her get a new vehicle. Yes it was fun for her to drive around in her Lobster Red Jeep Wrangler 4 door soft top, hard top, she had all the bells and whistles. While riding around on a winter/spring Sunday afternoon we pulled into Jaguar Exeter just to check it out. Never even thinking we would buy a Jaguar. After seeing the price tag and seeing how sharp these SUV Jags were we decided to talk to go there when they were open and talk to a sales rep. We first saw Steve Desisto, and he graciously introduced us to Jim Dowd. We felt like we were treated like gold. I did not think it would be so fun buying a car. Especially looking at all the models of Jaguars. We also talked to Tony. Everybody there was so nice and no pressure. Well we bought a E-pace. After one week of driving it, we went back and bought an F-pace for me. We both love of new Jaguars. Two cats are purring in our garage ready to hit the road. If you are reading this: get over there and check them out! It is definitely worth it.

This service center introduced air into my vehicles brake system when their personnel replaced a brake caliper. Mistakes happen but this dealer gets 1-star for the way it handled its mistake - by washing its hands of the problem.When Exeter returned the car to me, the brake pedal was spongy and unresponsive to input. This is a serious safety and drivability issue, particularly on a 550-horsepower sports car.Exeter bled the brake system but when they could not return the car to its factory condition they began claiming it operates as designed.I brought the car to independent mechanic who confirmed brakes do NOT operate as designed. The indy shop discovered air trapped in the brake system, and bled it properly. Now the car drives perfectly.This service center lacks skill and accountability. Will not return for further car purchases or service.

Ive had my Audi A4 serviced here a handful of times over the past 3 years and have been extremely satisfied. The work is top notch and I often end up spending less than I expect!! Would recommend to anyone - especially those with German/European vehicles - not just Jags.

I take good care of my cars and I expect the work to be done well. Over the years I have found several places that meet or exceed my expectations. Jaguar of Exeter? Absolutely not. As a jaguar owner since 2013, I brought my car to this dealer routinely for maintenance. In retrospect, having had my jaguar serviced elsewhere exceptionally for the past year, I can say definitively that Jaguar of Exeter is the worst dealership or repair shop I have ever done business with. Not only do they have subpar knowledge of luxury performance vehicles and what can go wrong, they also “don’t know what they don’t know” thereby blaming THE CUSTOMER for what is their own incompetence. Lug nuts “that fall off” the vehicle, failing to diagnose bent wheel rims (common vibration cause in performance cars), replacing the wrong parts and then attempting to charge full price to replace the “right parts” (when a competent mechanic found the “real” problem”), having incorrect knowledge of how headlight sensors work in the vehicle and consistently placing the inspection sticker in front of the sensors (and telling me, the customer that moving the sticker “was not the problem” (it was of course); these are just a few unfortunate examples. I’m sure under the right leadership, this dealership could correct their issues but for now I stay away.

First of all good luck to any one trying to buy a car from them. I reached out on Feb 7th looking to buy my wife a New SUV. Her one requirement is having surround vision. I get a response back from Jim Dowd stating I am correct and not all have that feature. Could not tell me what package or anything. Would need to go through his inventory and be back in touch. it is now Feb 12th and no response back. Shows they do not even know the product they sell. A follow up e-mail to JIM and his response back is doing his best they are small dealership and trying to prioritize. Honestly 5 days and still can not answerer my original question. I would not want to know how hard it is to get a veh serviced there. Good luck trying to buy a veh. I would give 0 stars if possible. Buyer be ware.

After looking at one vehicle, the price negotiated was more than fair, but the features I was looking for were not on that car. A month later a second car showed up with the features I wanted, the price was right and the deal was done in minutes. No sitting for hours in this place, no back and forth with the manager, no typical bait and switch car dealing. I have not yet had any repairs or customer service interaction so I cant comment or rate on that.

Very disappointing, went back and forth with Steve for 7 emails without him answering the one question I was asking, he kept coming back with things that had nothing to do with what I was asking. I was interested in a XE and he brought up an Escalade??Finally called about a car they had on their website, it says lease for $319, when they finally came back with number they said it would be mid $500s to lease....How does that make any sense?? I had called Peabody and they had given me a quote of $355....Exeters website said $320.....and they came back with $550+????? That is beyond questionable, and very very shady advertising! I was told it must be a typo, but 3 other XEs on the same page had leases for UNDER $300!!!!!!! I feel like I was taken for a ride (no pun intended) and I never even got to drive the car.Very disappointed, Steve is the worst person to deal with, and apparently this is how Jaguar of Exeter does business, very sketchy. Do yourself a favor, if youre interested in a Jag call Matt down in Peabody, you will get yourself a much better deal and not have to put up with the ridiculousness I just dealt with
