Always a pleasant place to take my car to get it worked on. I got my oil changed about a week ago and ran a full inspection. They also have decent prices, one of the only mechanic shops that I feel doesn’t make you get more than you need. They really seem like they are there for their customers! Would highly recommend!!

Well Ive got to say this place impressed me greatly. From. This is the type of place where you cant judge the book by its cover. They do great work in a reasonable time frame. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Ive got to say I also appreciate how clean the bathroom was when I came in because I unfortunately had to go while waiting and was worried about how nasty some toilets can be but boy lemme tell ya its like doing your business in the comfort of your own home. Definitely would recommend to everyone I know to stop in for some excellent service.

The staff at Midas got me in right away when my car wasn’t working! I tried other car shops but they couldn’t get me in for a week. Luke at Midas got me in and took care of my car right away. It was done the same day and I was able to get back home! They were life-savers and I highly recommend them! I do all my car repairs and maintenance there now!

This past Tuesday I discovered my Jeep Commander’s alternator went out, draining my brand new battery. It was late in the day, so I was almost certain I would be unable to get it into any shop, much less get it back the same day. I made several calls to local shops in the area before contacting Midas. The earliest anyone could get me in would be several days later and the prices seemed very high considering the job. Midas on the other hand told me I could bring it right on in (it was only a couple hours before their closing time) and quoted me a reasonable price for the work. I got my ride repaired and was back behind the wheel that same day, even paid less than what was originally quoted. The service was friendly and professional and I will be highly recommending them to anyone that asks me if I know of a good auto shop in the future. Thank you very much Midas.

I was treated very nicely by who I believe to be the manager who was scheduling. My problem was they kept my car all day and I was planning on leaving for spring break that night. I got my car back but it wasnt driving right and really scared me. I got a complete break job and spent alot of money only for some bolt on back brake not to be on right or either tight and my car made awful sounds and smelt like it was burning and it wouldnt go in reverse. The next day they did have me bring it back in but it caused me to leave very late because I couldnt get all I needed the day before. Anyways it caused me to loose out on money because I missed the whole day at my rental and didnt get there until middle of night.

Took my truck to two other places before this, and was told I couldn’t get an alignment and left with quotes for parts. Midas did it no problem, and didn’t give me the runaround about getting parts. Friendly staff, and done in quick fashion.

After taking my vehicle multiple places and having to take it back when things werent done right, it was refreshing to finally find a place I trust. They were so nice, knowledgeable and patient, especially Luke. They have for sure gained my business going forward!!!

I had my oil changed, several hours before I was leaving for a 7 hour trip. They took an hour for a $40 oil change that used to be $20. Then told me I had a small oil leak in my oil pan. Told me it was going to be $470+ to fix the leak. Then another $150 for a new gasket. Several weeks later my cars “oil pressure” was low and the oil light was on, indicating that my vehicle was unsafe to drive. Took it to a different mechanic who told me my oil hadn’t been changed in quite some time. Also, it was only a failed sensor and no leak, I’m almost positive they just reset my oil’s life percentage to 100% and didn’t change my oil, and then tried to blame the oil’s failure on the leak.

When I walked in, I asked straight away. Can you get me in right now, and fast. And how long will it take. His specific words where, faster than youd know or realize. I WAS THERE AN HOUR waiting for them to bring me my car and keys back!!! Never in my life have I ever had an oil change take more than 30 minutes AT MOST. They basically avoided going to the front desk so I couldnt ask them about my vehicle. He never apologized for the fact it took longer than he said it would, I was late getting home for the kids, my husband had to drop them off to me so he could make it to work on time. My 2 year old started screaming his head off. Im seriously just hoping they actually changed my oil and didnt just slap a sticker on. Because I seen the workers in the front, peddling around with nonsense. While my van sat in there lot for 25 minutes, and then sat in there back side garage for the remaining 35. This is exactly the reason I switched to a different business last year, unfortunately it was closed due to covid and i had no choice. Well they reminded me once again why I wont be back.

I had new brakes done a few months back and was still having trouble after a few more trips in. Since the new management and crew have come in, I took it in once and it was fixed immediately. I’m very happy that I can again trust Midas with my vehicles. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Very easy to work with.

My brakes and rotors needed done. Or so I thought that was the only thing. My calibers also needed to be replaced because they were just eating away at my brakes. My driver side brake was so eaten at it was the size of a saw blade. I had never seen it before. We were all surprised I was even stopping. The crew there were very nice and came to me about everything before they went through with it to make sure that it was okay they did it. It wasn’t very costly either. At least nowhere near the price I had planned out in my head. I would definitely recommend them! Great service and very respectful.

My go to place for my oil changes

When a consumer needs automotive repairs, they need a very trustworthy manager (Scott) and repair team. My only spot for auto maintenance and repair. I watched Scott and his team help a young lady and they gave her advice on how to save money for future repairs. They could have said nothing and charged her a lot of money and she would not have known the difference. Thats integrity right there folks. Why go anywhere else?

I was on a 550 mile road trip when I got to Evanston my brakes started making noise. I found this Midas location by using Google maps. When I pulled in I also had a flat front tire. the folks at Midas had my truck up on the lift before I can sit down in the lobby in front of the place. They inspected my brakes told me I needed new pads on the front. they didnt have the pads in stock but they were able to get them in about 10 minutes from a local auto supply and I was back on the road in less than an hour for $150. outstanding service they were very friendly and knowledgeable about the truck and brakes and I was very pleased. Wheelchair-accessible and parking is free.

The guys here did an alignment for my Mazdaspeed 3 from.an accident I had recently gotten in, to their best ability with some parts still bent... They got the car pretty damn straight and tied down my exhaust to the downpipe for free!

It was a stressful time for me being 300 miles from home with a undrivable SUV for two days. I really was fortunate that my phone found the Evansville St Joesph Midas first.Debi was so nice and worked really hard to find the part for my vehicle. Came in with some pretty bad brakes and rotors. They fixed me up in a timely manner and always kept me updated. It was a little pricey which is the reason for only four stars, but the brakes and rotors came with a lifetime warranty, so it was a pretty good long-tern investment. I would go back again!

They worked with me on the price and were done with the repairs and alignment in less than 1 hour after just walking in on a Saturday. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff and management told me the truth about not needing another expensive repair that another shop in town said i needed. It was a deal and got me in and out and to work on time.

They are rude. They took way more time then needed. They also try to scam me out of money.

Midas is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Dealing with my local Midas was an absolute nightmare and I would like to share my story. I found out my car was leaking oil heavily on 12/12/18. I take it to Midas never having been to one before. I then ask them to diagnose it and fix it. They tell me it is a oil pan gasket and head gasket. The price was about $829.99 and I understood all of the labor that goes into it. They call me and said it will be about a day or two later they are understaffed with only one mechanic. Half an hour from closing time they tell me to hurry over and pick up the car. I waste a trip up to the shop because when I get there the mechanic tells me as I am pulling out that the muffler may seem loud and it was extremely loud. So I had it taken back for another repair on the muffler and all seemed well until the engine light came on and would not go off. I tried to wait it off as some engine lights come on after a major engine repair. The light persisted and then I had to take the car back and they told me they had probably bumped the coil while replacing head gasket. This was also delayed more than two days and by that time I had to leave for two weeks about 600 miles away. When I get back to pick it up there is oil all over steering wheel, door and seat (date:01/04/19). I then call the customer service helpline (which does nothing but tell the shop the problem) and told them the entire story and why I was not satisfied with service and asked for slight compensation for messing my car and for so many wasted trips. I get a call from the shop that sounded very harsh and in a rude tone. The person was not happy that I had complained and tried to intimidate me telling I would get no compensation for anything except the oil (which naturally most of it had cleaned up). I am absolutely disgusted by how I was treated and instead of pursing compensation I will tell every person I meet to avoid Midas.Edit: I even told the customer service not to be blame those at the office because there is only one mechanic and one clerk working there. Seems like there is no upper management that wants to deal with customers.

I called around getting quotes for brakes on my truck. They seemed to be the best price. I set an appointment and showed up 15 minutes early. They got my vehicle right in. That was the end of the good at this store. It took 2 hours for them to inspect my brakes. The price went up almost $200 from the phone call. So i have waited for 2 hours with no work done and the price went up?? I said i will have to think about it and come back on the weekend when i will have more time. Then they said ok give us a minute to pull your vehicle out. It took 20 minutes more to get it pulled out. I went to the dealership and got it inspected and the job done for $600 dollars less!!! If anyone goes here they are ripping you off!!! Everyone should avoid this place and try the dealership. I always thought a new car dealership was the most expensive but i was wrong. This midas store said my back brakes were at 20% and front at 40%. And they could not turn the rotors. So i needed 4 new rotors and all new pads for $780. The dealership said front brakes are 40% and back were 70% so they turned rotors and put new pads on for $150. Now i am only sharing this because i dont want to see people loose their hard earned money.

I got my oil changed here back in December, two night later my oil light came on. My car was completely out of oil! They never filled my car back up with oil. When I took it back they claimed I had a large leak, however I took it to a repair shop only to be told I didnt have a leak at all. They lied to me about a leak instead of admitting they made an error. Ill never let any of my friends or family ever go to any Midas ever again. Absolute worst

Had appointment made for last Friday. Sat for an hour past scheduled time before they asked me to reschedule for today. I rescheduled. O just showed up and they tell me it will be atleast 2 hours past scheduled time before they can get to me.

Very drity shop, dont care about anything, broke stuff on my SUV then try to say it was something else that caused it.

This is going to sound like a negative review but hang with me here. I brought my fiances car in to handle an appointment she made earlier in the week. The appointment was for 9 AM and I had arrived a little early. They take the keys, rack the car and I assumed theyd just get started...next thing I know, its 11:30 AM and Im starting to get confused because I was under the impression Id be done by 10:30 AM at the latest. I spoke to the store manager Scott, who relayed to me that the parts were supposed to be delivered by OReillys Auto Parts and rather than keep to their scheduled stop, they made two more stops and didnt drop off their promised package because they driver didnt want to get her hair wet due to rain. Scott was cool though, he took care of me and expressed how much he understood my frustration with my lost morning. Once the parts were brought in, the team went to work and I was able to be on my way. While I certainly didnt enjoy losing my morning, I greatly appreciated Scott and his crew for going above and beyond to make sure that the job was done. Keep it up guys and well keep coming back!

I was quoted a sale price of $17.76 for an oil change. When finished the total amount was $5.00 more for a Shop Fee that was never mentioned.Little add on like this discourage me from ever returning to Midas.

They messed my alignment up chaged me 831$ on a brake job said they found things broken on suspension. And then now the rotor sounds like its scrapping the brake dust gaurd. Im unhappy. They were bad at being honest and kind to the customer when i was being that upfront. They also wanted me to hring the car in again sounds like they want to charge me more.

They are competitive with there prices.

The General Manager was the most awful human being on this planet. They tightened my lug nuts too tight, and the lug nut sheared off when trying to replace a flat tire. He refused to take responsibility for employees improperly torquing the lug nuts. I told him no one has touched the tire since the last visit and he told me sorry but I am wrong.I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE FOREVER.
