I didn’t get the service I requested. I paid for a service and the stylist gave me what she wanted to give me. My braids are not the same size. She put too much hair on the braids. My head is heavy and I am natural. I paid for braids to to be braided to my bra strap and the stylist braided my hair shoulder length and the rest was hair left out to my bra strap. The hair she had me purchase after advising me that the hair would be provided is not the right hair to use to braid hair and have hair left out. My ends look like a bad weave. This was a failure and I would not be back. I paid $200 cash and purchased my own hair to receive individual braids to my shoulder and the braids are X-large, large and medium not the small individual braids to my bra strap that I requested and made an appointment for.

The service preformed was perfect. I enjoyed their professionalism. The price was reasonable.

Ive been doing business with this lady for years. im very disappointed today. i asked for iverson braids and my daughter came out with lemonade braids something totally different. her prices change if she feels like you have some money are something its weird. im very upset this lady is a lier and i will never ever go back to her again. she just lost a damn good customer.

I highly recommend not to waste your time here, my appointment was rescheduled twice and when I finally arrived on time for my appointment they made me wait 2 hours. I asked why it was taking so long and I was given attitude from the staff in return.

Dont go here for eyebrows. I wouldnt even recommend getting your hair braided here. The manager will dodge you and will not address your concerns. Very poor customer service and satisfaction. Its going be $700 - $1800 to fix the horrible microshading.

LOVE MY BRAIDS. Coumba is a wonderful woman who is very compassionate and skilled at what she does! Would recommend highly to anyone in HEB looking for braiding done. I needed emergancy braids due to having stitches and can’t mess with my hair, but she was able to see me as soon as she could that day and was very gentle and I let her do her thing with nothing in mind in particular for style and she did not let me down!

I got my Marley twist braids done here and they were absolutely gorgeous!! I was very happy with the service and the speed. The twists were not too tight and even now nearly a week later they still look brand new! I will definitely be returning to this braid shop. Also the price was reasonable. The price I was quoted is what I paid.

Comba got me in for an appointment the day after I called (I called on a Sunday). She is family oriented and raising her young daughter to have respect while in the shop. My hair looks exactly like the picture I showed her. They had multiple options for hair for purchase. She was quick and started on my hair the moment I walked in. I will define back.

I was a walk in customers and brought my materials for my hair to be braided I gave the beautician (Her name was Yousoura) a picture of how I wanted my hair to be braided she excepted that she could do the style on my hair and my thickness the style that she gave me did not resemblance the style that I ask for at all each time that I questioned what she was doing she got agitated and she Insisted that she was completing the style I requested upon completion my hair was nothing like what I requested and I brought this to her attention again and she got even more angry and said if I did not like it she would take it out I agreed to allow her to take it out at that point she asked me to please go and sit in a different chair for another associate that was working in the shop to begin removing the braids as I stepped up to turn to go to the chair she pointed me too I was assaulted by her as she snatches me by the hair and pulling me backwards into a pair scissors in which she viciously chops my hair in fear I pull away from her screaming for her to stop and she reaches out for me again this time grabbed me by the back of my head and in a stabbing motion goes to attempt to try and cut more with no regard for my natural hair in a very vicious manner at this point I know she is assaulting me with a weapon so I get in a defensive stance to protect myself from the scissors she hold and yelling at me do something and push her back away from me and tell her not to put hands on me again She stood there threatening me with scissors in her hands and continue to try and reach for my head at this point I’m yelling for her to call the police she calls the police police come outAnd I showed Police the picture of what I was supposed to have versus what I got and they were in agreement that her work looked nothing like what I asked for but I am letting you know that you have somebody that is licensed in the state of Texas that is very violent and has No problem assaulting her customers so bad that I gladly pressed charges for assault that is pending against her and have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation! Do not take your business here! They are extremely unprofessional including the owner!

I love this shop. I have been coming here since 2015. Everyone is so friendly, nice and very welcoming. I got box braids and they are so neat but not too tight. My hair grew a lot with no damage. This is my go to place for braids and great customer service.

First time I went in there with a whole picture of what I wanted to get ,the style come out not neat and nothing like on the pictures.just recent,Went in for simple cornrows ,she had them so tight that I had bumps on the edges that healed after a week and lost a lot of hair from it,they need to stop pulling the scalp it’s not professional .

I got my daughters hair braided here on Saturday and I love her hair. Mkumba is so sweet and was gentle as she could with my daughter. My daughter is very tender headed. She manages her time very well and we were in and out in no time. We will definitely be back.

Took my daughter in for two basic cornrows; they were thick at the top of her head but skinny from the nape of her neck to the end of the long braid. I provided a picture of this very basic style but it turned out nothing like the picture. The braids werent dipped in hot water, they unraveled the same day they were put in.I notified the braider but she argued back and forth for 30 minutes. She finally agreed to just fix the unraveling ends but by that point I didnt want her near my daughters head! This was the most unprofessional braid shop Ive been to out of the several states Ive lived in. Poor Service, Poor Integrity, Poor Braiding Skill and Over Priced.

I went here for my feed in braids it was quick & the place was very clean love my hair so much and you don’t have to wait forever.

Worse braid spot Ive ever been to! They messed up two basic cornrows in my daughters hair. They unraveled the same day, werent dipped in hot water, sides were all slicked up but it was still fuzzy looking, they were lopsided, the top was thick but skinny in the back and down to the end.Awful customer service, braiding skill, awful Integrity......Im not sure how this place is still open.Filing a BBB Complaint!

This Is My Second Time Coming Here And The Ladies In This Salon Are Amazing. The First Time I Came, Two Other Salons Turned Me Down and even though they were super busy, they allowed to to walk in and were efficient with getting my hair done. I went again today and the quality and service is superb! I like to have my hair rebraided every two wks and this is where I will be coming from now on.

I have never left a review in my life but today I must. I have never had such bad experiences with getting my hair done in my life! My first experience with Kay was good, she took down my senegalese twist. She was very kind, we had a good conversation and she was gentle with my hair. I thought okay, I will give this place a shot and get my twist redone here. Went the next day to get the twist done and was in the worst pain ever, I cried! I am 31 year old woman who probably hasn’t cried while getting my hair done since I was a child. My head hurt for several days after. To add to the discomfort, less than a week after getting my hair done, a section of it was already unraveling. Veronica did a majority of my hair and although it really hurt she does a damn good job, unfortunately I am unable to remember the name of the lady who was responsible for 1/4 of my hair but her entire section had to be redone. So yes, I went back for what would be my 3rd time. Veronica redid the section and of course it looked great however I was in pain again. Fast forward 7 weeks later. I go in today to have them taken out. They cut my hair, and not just a little but several inches, I cannot wear my hair as is I now have to go pay to have my hair professionally cut in order for me to look presentable. I told them my hair was long yet she still took chuncks of twist and cut them all before unbraiding to check the length. When she realized what she had done she said it was only 5 braids! Well that’s where she chopped my hair, she just cut the rest of it! I am so upset I am in tears, I take care of my hair the ONLY reason I got twist was because I have a newborn baby and didn’t want to fool with my hair. The biggest mistake I ever made was trusting this establishment.

I love my hair. I went in for some faux locs braids, and at first I was hesitant with it being a new shop but my expectations were met. I took in a picture of how I wanted my hair and it came out even better than the pic. K, she was very sensitive to my tender head while doing the locs. I went in to friendly service and comfortable environment. I do plan on going back for touch ups and future styles. Thanks K! 😉😀

This is one of the worst braiding shops i have ever encountered. I called first and was told 180 when i arrived i was told 220 ok np then two braiders were braiding my hair one of them stop in the middle and left cause she was arguing with another worker. Then they finish my hair and braids were coming out BEFORE I LEFT the shop. I made it home looked at my hair and my braides in the back were extremely huge not parted hair left out braids look like a 10 year old did them i called the owner the next day and she told me to come back BUT OF COURSE SHE WASNT THERE NOW IM STUCK OUT OF 220 FOR SOME KINDERGARTEN BRAIDES I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE BAD PART IS IM NOT FROM HERE THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER GOING TO THIS SHOP BUT I WILL NEVER NEVER GO HERE AGAIN......
