Produce is great and easy to find, they have a good selection of electronics, sports gear, and clothing items. Good customer service. It is pretty busy most days so if youre concerned about waiting in line for a while or people blocking aisles, definitely watch out. All in all, a reliable choice for mostly anything you might need.

One of the best places to shopping. Very clean you can find everything right away, if you need help all time is someone there. And good deals. Rewards points awesome.

Crowded; and there being tons of Halloween candy, fruit flavored Tootsie Rolls, mixed candy with some Tootsie Rolls... but ZERO actual Tootsie Rolls! Not in the Halloween candy section; or, in the candy isle!! Not a happy camper... only saving grace for three stars, was the lovely customer service person at the self checkout.

Sometimes you run into trouble taking care of our elderly. Mistakes in purchases could mean trouble for your family. Leah in Electronics was kind and helpful to me from the start of my conversation. I managed with her to correct an error for a senior family member. As I called with anxiety and panic she listened to my problem and directed me to come in and talk to customer service to correct my problem. And it was corrected. But if it weren’t for her talking to me like a person and I probably wouldn’t of had the courage to do it. So thank you again Fred Meyer for having such wonderful people. Bless you Leah. I was not sure what star rating to give. The store itself seemed okay. But I needed to use the restroom and was appalled. I have never seen such a dirty bathroom in a grocery store. And I could tell it was not a fluke, because there was alot of dust. The stall looked sticky, the toilet paper was not in the holder and no paper towels. Imagine a very neglected rest stop bathroom. Disgusting.

They have security officer who walks around with a gun, you know gotta have serious protection incase a hungry person steals food

Check your receipts when you buy clothes, the cashiers are adding items that arent there. My family spends hundreds of dollars a month at this store we should be able to trust we are getting a good deal. Im through with to his store. Shame on you Fred Meyer

Do not bother checking their website for in-stock information, it is out of date/incorrect. Its been a year and half of this business, but I guess its super hard to figure out if youve been out of stock of something for 2 weeks. Only two check out lanes are ever open, even during peak hours. Its faster to just check yourself out. And easier to get what you actually need if you just go to another store, I guess. Shouldnt be that hard to make sure your shelves arent bare by 4pm. The least you could do is take the sticker off the shelf if you are just gonna leave it empty for weeks at a time. YOU DO NOT SELL IT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT. Waste of my time.

Watch the totals when you pay for, and pickup your click list order. For some reason there is usually a discrepancy between your proposed total and the actual total. Sometimes its because of the bottle deposit, sometimes its for no obvious reason

I don’t mind waiting in long lines at the fuel center, but they should wait on the people in the order in which they come. I had to wait 10 minutes before anybody put fuel in my car. someone pulled up five minutes after I was waiting and got fuel in their car right away. That really pisses me off. It’s not fair and it makes me really mad at Fred Meyer. Makes me feel like I don’t matter and everybody else is more important to you than I am. It should not be that way. Especially not on a day when it’s 115°. Can’t you be nicer?

Normally I dont leave reviews at bigger chain stores but every time I come into the store on W. 11th Jamie and Brendan always make me smile. Their energy is great and they always try their best to give great customer service. Definitely employees that make me want to come back

Fred Meyer is a fantastic all around store where you can find anything from clothes to specialty cheeses to gardening supplies to organic produce. It’s really incredible what a selection they have! There’s also a pharmacy, bank, and jewelry store inside. The produce is usually really great!

Every time I come into one of these locations they always screw me at the register with not giving me the sale price that is advertised. And I never have time to go back and tell him oh hey you owe me $3 here and $4 there. Like update your prices internally its ridiculous.Im going to go back to shopping through the app because then at least your system is forced to give me the sale price.I was overcharged for bakery donuts you owe me $2.50 for donuts. Dont have time to come back and get it so Im just giving you a bad review.

Fred Meyers on West 11th has been recently remodeled. The store is laid out so that it is convenient for you to shop for variety home & garden as well as groceries. I shop for the fresh produce and the gas discount points make it worth the small inconvenience of finding a parking spot as they are always busy. Park on the South or West side and save the headache.

They have a great selection of groceries, wine, and beer. The garden section is nice and the deli area always have good quick ready to heat meals. The employees are always helpful and polite. There is a man named Doug in produce who is always very kind and accommodating. There is a woman cashier who is always very friendly as well. Im not sure what her name is but her magic wand she uses to help authorize scans on the self checkout gave us a giggle.

I love the Fred Meyers on Division in Eugene and the Q st store in Springfield but this one on West 11th is dirty, long lines , no carts available, and the employees dont look to happy. I will continue shopping at Freddys but will go to a different store and try West 11th again in a few months and see if it gets any better. I live 5 minutes away so I am hoping it gets better.

In short: Buyer beware! Every return experience I have ever had here has been hell. If you arent sure, dont buy here.The long version:The woman at the counter had left me waiting for what (felt like) an age and a day, and then declined to either facilitate a return or an exchange, claiming I was responsible for damage to the item. The clothing was tried on once, briefly, and was discovered to be too large. She said that the BROWN sweater had coffee stains (we dont even drink coffee). I have also been given a huge amount of pushback over returning faulty electronics here before. Items that were purchased the day prior, mind you. Same woman. I havent ever had this issue anywhere else. Ultimately, in both cases I successfully made my exchange at the Freddies on Q street. I intend to give them a positive review explaining what made them so much better.

This Freddys was updated last year and looks great! It now also has a bar with a decent selection of beer on draft. Tons of fresh food options that are all pretty tasty and priced right. I just had a larger than normal sized slice of pizza for $3.Customer service is always on point. Employees are quick no notice you and offer assistance which is great. Definitely one of the best stores around here for food and other home goods.

First time in the store and it was an awful experience. Many of my choices were sale items, which really arent sale items if youre not a Fred Meyer member. Decided to go through the self-check out as I only had a few things other local stores were out of. As I was scanning my items, my total was more than I expected. I called the associate, Bree, over and asked why things werent priced correctly. She said, do you have a Fred Meyer or Kroger savings card? To which I stated I didnt. She said, Yeah, its only a sale item for members then instead of explaining how I become a member she just walked me through the void process. Whatever, I dont need ANOTHER membership only savings store. I especially dont need another store with bad customer service. I wont be back, thanks.

If you dont use self check, expect looong lines at the 2 checkstands that they have open. Ive been standing in line for 15 minutes and there is still 1 person ahead of me.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but...This store has the worst customer service. They seem very preoccupied with avoiding being helpful.Now that most people don’t shop as much you’d think they would be extra nice (heck just nice would do) to get customers.This has been over months not just one visit. I’m driving a bit further to get better service.

Too many anti maskers shop here because they know the store will not enforce. Lots of angry looking people wandering aisles sporting masks in the useless chin diaper position. Whole Foods and Market of Choice have much better clientele, if you want a safe shopping environment start going there. We used to head to Fred Meyer every week, but since the pandemic we go maybe once every month or two. Just aint worth the risk with how many unsanitary people shop there.

This is mainly about their pick up service. I appreciate the option but sometimes its more trouble than its worth. I dont order any fruit ot vegetables from them anymore because they have no issue giving you poor quality to very close to bad items. For example, berries that mold the very next day and salad mix that arrives with a rotten smell. I understand that first in first out is the name of the game but I expect to get more than one day out of the food I buy. They are also very bad at offering substitutes that make any sense. This is a good time saver but the time you save doesnt mean anything if you have to go shopping immediately after the pickup.

Shopping experience is as expected. Theres been an influx of heroin needles in the bushes and panhandlers, and no response from Fred Meyer (or property managements hired security) to stop them from asking for money by the ATMs. Gas attendant put fuel nozzle in my car incorrectly and caused gas to spill along the side of my car, well over a gallon spilled, and was only refunded 3 dollars. Tank was just over half when i pulled in. less than 6 gallons needed and the bill was over $22.00. Pharmacy tech staff is mediocre, pharmacist is great.

REALLY? We have sanitized carts, and are encouraged to wear masks... No problem, except EVERY employee in produce was wearing their mask under their noses or chins, not one cared enough to keep it over their faces. I understand its yucky to have to wear a mask for 8 hours, but in todays climate, I was shocked and dismayed to find so little caring from employees inside the store. Other shelf stocking employees also did not have their masks on (under your chin doesnt really count), but at least their product was sealed. Those filling bags for pick up likewise were not wearing their masks! I am so disappointed.

Was just forced to pay for a bag I didnt want, didnt use, or didnt take. Ive never been to a store where the bag qty option for 0 was greyed out. What BS. Its only $0.05... But forcing your hand into my wallet is how you get me to take thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to your competition. So sad Fred, you ded.

If you’re going to the deli, get there well before the store says it closes. They randomly close early. They might even cut your deli meat and then refuse to slice cheese cause it’s been cleaned an hour before the deli closes. No warning.

Good produce section. Freddys grocery prices and product selection are better than Safeway and Albertsons, but you can save more money by shopping at WinCo.

My weekly go to for groceries. Use my rewards card to rack up fuel points, get personalized coupons in the mail, great digital coupons on the mobile app, easy no hassle returns on pretty much anything. Prices beat Albertsons, Safeway, and even Walmart. I love the Bottle Drop kiosk! Get my redemption money, turn it into an added 20% in store credit, Bam! Pretty decent selection and great prices on wine too. Cant beat Freddies! 😊

I made an online order for food, and I was charged for several items that they couldn’t fill in my order. There online order system will actually incorrectly bill you every time.

Its ridiculously hard to get cigarettes here without causing a small scene. The self checkout attendant has to drop everything they’re doing and leave the self checkout area, leaving you at the self checkout head-checkstand with customers in need just kinda staring at you— presumably wondering why you’re holding up the clerk they need, or wondering perhaps if you are in fact the clerk they need. Most of the time you can get cigarettes from any checker or at the customer service area, so as far as I’m aware, this situation is unique to this location.From the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry for causing so many lines fellow Fred Meyer patrons.

This Fred Meyer has an excellent staff and they keep this store looking great, even after the typical onslaught of the first weekend of the month. The produce is often better than average in terms of quality and cost is very competitive. As with ANY retailer, costs can vary and you should shop wisely, but I have particularly noticed this Fred Meyer is really well stocked on any sale items and almost never runs out like some other locations frequently do. Also, hats off to the meat department for excellent quality!

I have shopped in this specific store since it was built. They have never given me a reason to go elsewhere. Its a wonderful combination of quality and value with some of the nicest people anywhere.My only word of caution: Dont count on the air compressor in the gas station department; it may leave you with a flat tire and no good options. Other than that this is a great store.

Never enough checkers. Ever. Store design also seems geared toward making you walk as much of the store as possible in order to get daily staples. In fact, you have to enter the store by going around all of the empty checkout stands that are blocked out with empty carts to ensure you can’t go directly to what you want to buy. And there’s a 50 cent charge for cash back. Staff are friendly and helpful!

Went to the deli to get a piece of pizza. What seemed to be the manager? Was standing there talking to the clearly stressed out man trying to make pizza & was obviously in need of help. When she asked if Id been helped, I didnt even get to finish my sentence before she told me hes backed up with orders. You know what you do in that situation? You put some gloves on and help!

Matt in grocery was amazingly helpful today. Love that this Fred Meyer has Zevia cola for a reasonable price, better than the two other stores that Ive been going to for it! I love shopping here. Everyone is nice. The Deli is amazing. The people who work there are so kind. They never get upset when you ask for shaved ham. The Bakery has some yummy treats. The new meat department is nice. Produce is always good. And if I cant find something they always help.

Fred Meyer is an Oregon original store. A preferred seller of everything. Over the years I have bought everything here from the various store locations. From toys, building supplies (back before the big building supply stores existed), electronics, clothes, now primarily groceries, and fuel. Excellent beer selection. They have a pub at the Santa Clara location!

This store blew my mind. I had no idea how impressed I would be by the time I left. I felt like everywhere I looked my options were endless. I thought it was really unique to have a place to sit and drink a beer as you would a cup of coffee. I noticed plenty of price reduction and clearance items throughout the store along with sales on lots of items. Thought prices were competitive with other local stores. There were plenty of staff around so if I was to have needed help they seemed readily available. The interaction with staff was minimal yet the short interactions were friendly and nice. Though the times arent frequent when I go to stores in Eugene I will remember to make this store one of my go to places. I like Fred Meyer for its conventional approach its appreciated.

Friendly employees and good sales. Love looking through the clearance! I also love that they have a childcare area! The ladies in there are great with the kids. My son loves going.🙂

They continue to be a helpful and convenient store. Their employees help me find what they have in stock before I make the trip out there. They typically have a very good variety to choose from. The nature of the size of their store does make single stop shopping for many types of things on your list a reality.

I’m currently 9 months pregnant, due any say & rarely go to Fred Meyers to shop. I went today because I had a gift card and more baby shopping to do. It was incredible! Short lines, practically everything, including holiday stuff was 30-75% off or more, they have a bigger baby department than the Springfield FM, nice, wonderful staff who went out of they’re way to help me and to top it off, I got a great parking spot! Stephanie in apparel is absolutely incredible, she went out of her way to get a product for me that wasn’t even in her department and bring it to me in less than 3 minutes! Very impressed and my mind has shifted from shopping anywhere else. Thank you!!!

I absolutely love the W. 11th location! I dont shop anywhere else! Great prices, quality products, and their store brands are excellent! Customer service is incredible, which means a lot to me, since I use a manual wheelchair. The staff are like family!

A recent remodel has improved the width of the aisles. The employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Ask a question to any employee and if they dont have the answer, they will get it. And always with a smile. Im still getting used to the change.Their produce is wonderful. Meat and fish always fresh.

The products choice is good but the food station has low quality foods. I bought so called chicken tenders which were not tenders at all - just the tough meat from chicken breasts - the worst chicken tenders I tried anywhere to be honest. The cafeteria by the station is cool and has Wi-Fi. I wish the food was better.

Fred Meyers is a shopping treasure hunt. They have as some sales and clearances. The store, although humongous is laid out attractively and the lighting is comfortable in the eyes. Oh, as a lifelong shopper, I have come to realize which stores are East Coast based chain stores with sterile, boring aisles & harsh florescent lights...keep me away.I have been going hog wild in the garden area..Spring is singing!!

Store is big and bright. Wide open and lots of space to navigate through the isles. Has a good stock of grocery items at a fair price. I definitely recommend this grocery store. Every Friday there is a free item giveaway if youre signed up to their freebie Friday.

My $.50 worth...By instituting a .50 cent transaction fee for withdrawing cash when I purchase goods from your store is a major disappointment. This will hurt overall sales for your Company. People that used to come to your store to take out cash would purchase items along with the cash. These people will now do this at another store. Why would you insult my intelligence by putting a sign on the card reader stating you will save me a trip to the bank??? My advice to you to cut corners in your business is to fire the over paid corporate employees that come up with these ideas rather than hurting your most loyal customers!

There is a sign at the front saying masks are required but there appears to be no enforcement of masks. We saw multiple people not wearing masks, wont be returning.

The gas stations are the cheapest and the service is great!! I love Freddies for certain things but sometimes I feel like some of their items seem to be a little bit pricey!! If uyou have coupons they are helpful!! They do have a great selection of everything..including healthy foods and natural products!! Been going here since I was a kid, and have seen the store arranged three different ways. The new arrangement is attractive but not practical for myself. It took me five minutes of walking back and forth in the dairy section to find the cottage cheese. Hint its not in the refrigerators along the wall. But I do like a accessible the produce section is now.

Usually service is good but Jackie sure had an attitude. It seemed like I was to do her job...slams my groceries in the basket. Wow..maybe she should get another job. Ive spent thousands of dollars at this store for 20 plus years.

They have everything you could ask for. The store is so big compared to the other Fred Meyer. Theres even a place for the kids to play while you shop. They have clothing, electronics, full grocery store, and a garden area. The gas station is just as good as others. The gas gets cheaper if you get their rewards card. Definitely sign up for that.

The Perfect Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich is really the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich you will ever try. Consistency of the bread and the flavor was exquisite. Definitely would recommend 10/10

This Fred Meyer is near my neighborhood. I have been going here for 12 years and never had a negative experience. The only complaint I have is that getting inside the store be made more pedestrian friendly.

Fred Meyer is a good store with quality products, and good customer service. It is easy to navigate, and I can find what I need there. This particular branch has a smaller selection of products than I am accustomed to finding in Fred Meyer, though still has a wide variety of product types.

This Fred Meyer location is SO clean and organized, and has EVERYTHING YOU NEED! They recently did a (much needed) entire store remodel, and the remodel made a WORLD of difference! Now the physical store matches their top notch customer service. All the employees at this location are friendly, and more than helpful with any questions you may have for them, and you can typically find an employee working in every department during busy hours, so you dont have to search around for an employee if you have questions or need directions within the store.

This location is currently under renovation and the product location is in a state of flux. Finding what youre looking for can be a challenge, even when you ask an employee. Also, with the renovation, sections of the store are closed off and you have to detour around them. Id suggest that if youre in a hurry, going to a different store would suit you better.

I have to complain as I was really upset about the situation. I went grocery shopping at Fred Meyer like I typically do, there was a little girl who was lost she looked to be about 7 years old, I asked if she needed help looking for her mommy but she took off. Meanwhile there was two Fred Meyer employees who had seemed to be following me and my family all throughout the store, (I think they though we were stealing or were not going to pay for the food I had gotten my kids at the food court). I told the 2 employees that there was a girl that seemed to be lost they said they would take care of it, I ran into them again and I asked if the little girl found her mommy and one of the guys response was that girl seems a lot older than she looks we cant help them if they dont want the help and we dont want to be harassing her. As a mom I have to say this is ridiculous, I understand they cant restrain the child but at least make an announcement or stay near the kid!! I worked at this very Fred Meyer years ago I know the rules that employees needs to follow and I also know I was being followed rather than the employees helping a child out!!

Love this store. Single father tired of showing up to Playland during listed hours to find a “be right back” sign... wait around 30 mins and nobody shows up. Have watched this happen to multiple parents.. it’s frustrating, and for some of us, just shuts down our ability to get shopping done some days! Change the hours or make sure you have an employee to run the hours you advertise. We’re parents, our time is precious and we don’t get away from our kids much. The least you can do is keep your promises Fred Meyer! 😢

They dont give your money back if it ruins the purchase in the wash and act like it is your fault for not checking to see if the cashier is doing their job

Fred Meyer is a great store to get most things youre looking for. Some things may be a little pricy but for the most part its super clean, competitive enough and just convenient, also you dont see websites called the people of Fred Meyer if you know what I mean. 😉
