I find everything about this place to be great except the sandwich bar. Today I paid almost $10 for a great-sounding sandwich, only to discover it was made from week-old bread. This is the second time Ive done this. Maybe next time Ill remember... I find the employees to be friendly and helpful. Theyre not as professional as some of the old clerks at larger stores, but thats what I like about WFs.

I ordered deliveries twice from the store and each time I was disappointed by the quality of their fresh produce. The rest of the products such as diary and frozen food, is all right. I will continue to order delivery from the market but will stop ordering any fruits or vegetables from them until the markets management do some improvements.

I have been to Whole Foods a handful of times since moving to Eugene. I kept trying to think my experience would improve. My experience this past week was abysmal. The only high point was that the awesome young guy stocking pet food at the time was super nice! Nobody else was. The cashier seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there. I gave her a friendly greeting and thanked her when she bagged my groceries. No response to the latter. However, as I was walking away, I heard her being super nice to the guy behind me. My guess is that he is a regular. Are employees trained to not care about their new(er) customers??? It sure seems so. That awesome guy that I mentioned above should be employed at a different store in town where I imagine he would be treated much better also. I already know several people in town that have said this store is terribly rude and that they wont shop there. I wont either now and anybody new to town that I run into that happens to ask about which grocery store to shop at, I will tell them anywhere but Whole Foods.

I dont shop here. They are the Walmart of grocery stores. Except Walmart kills mom and pop stores by making everything cheap. Whole Foods is expensive. When I lived in Berkeley, we called it Whole Paycheck. I dont know why people shop here. The only reason it showed up on my Google radar is that my in-laws shipped me an Amazon gift to pick up there. I feel the same way about Jeff Bezos and Amazon as I do about the Walmart family. But I dont refuse a gift, you know? Oh yeah, and its also right across the street from the federal building so every protest goes through the parking lot. But they wont let you use the bathroom without a shopping receipt. We have so many great little co-ops and small grocery stores in town that have built the character of Eugene. Please support them and do not shop at Whole Foods.

Been shopping at WHOLEFOODS FOR OVER 20 years at many different locations in different cities. THIS IS THE WORST RAN LOCATION BY FAR. I still shop here like twice a week . Never have any pizza by the slice .. pizza station is just closed. It’s ridiculous and I’ll find a fruit tart (mini) like once every 2 weeks. It feels like it’s being run by a bunch of hungover college students. A lot of there cooked food tastes off as well. It’s more like a HALFFOODS. Like I said the worse. No one is behind the wheel and this store is headed for a cliff.

This is a pretty new store that I have not been in before. I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were not as outrageous as some of the Whole Foods I have been in previously. However, I also couldnt find several things I wanted, which was disappointing. The line moved quickly, which was nice, and there is adequate parking if youre not there at the worst time of the day.

Overall the store is usually clean, well stocked and the staff is friendly. However, for the past 5 sales on “in house sliced” deli meat they have not had it advertised at the deli counter. There is no obvious way of telling which meat is supposed to be the one on sale at the counter and the employees seem very confused when I show them the sale on the app. The sale today, according to the app, was on peppered turkey. There was peppered turkey in the deli case, but when I showed the employee the sale to confirm it was the one on sale I was told they are not slicing meat at the counter and they are only selling pre sliced. I went to the two locations of pre sliced deli meat and there was no peppered turkey. It seems like there is an obvious problem in the deli for a couple of months now.

An employee that directed me to a non-existent coffee bar, filthy restrooms (not WF fault, thats due to the location), dry bread for the freshly made sandwiches, long lines to check out, slow and unmotivated staff made my experience unpleasant. 2 employees chatting at the customer service counter while the lines build with only 2 cashiers trying to manage the lines, but they seemed exhausted and defeated. Overall vibe is not good. I use to go to and love the Whole Foods in the Pearl District in Portland, but now the automation and drive for profits seems more important.

This is the second time in the last week I have had to wait in line at the pre-made food counter for over 10 minutes for a slice of pizza. There is only one employee for what seems to be the entire prepared food section to serve people on their lunch break. There were several team members chatting behind the counter not helping any customers even after I made eye contact with them. Market of Choice does a much better job of customer service and selection of prepared foods as well.

The store was very clean. Employees were helpful and polite which is always nice. They had a small flower section which did happen to include some nice edible options, which made great garnish. The selection of fresh produce was a little disappointing. How ever there was a great selection of seafood. Including several grades of caviar which in my experience isn’t always available at the local grocery store. My kombucha costed more than a bouquet of small roses.

A surreal experience for this genuinely crunchy town. Didnt have three of the four things I was looking for, did have Nuttzo, Humboldt Fog, and avocado mayonnaise, also had...sake in fawn festooned collectible glasses? Everything is very staged for show, the variety is not as broad as it looks at first blush, and location or ignorance are the only reasons to choose this grocery store above Sundance, Red Barn, Capellas, The Kiva, Market of Choice, or even Natural Grocer or Trader Joes. Its next to campus and I suppose its reassuringly familiar for Californian students, but otherwise...why?

I don’t know how to explain how much I love this store and the connection they have with Amazon. I am dairy free, gluten free and soy free. I have a hard time finding options that cater to me and do either store pick up or delivery. This store does all of that! I didn’t know some of these brand foods existed. The things I have found that are gluten free are super delicious and I finally found a yogurt (Culina) and Sour cream that is dairy free that is phenomenal. I recommend trying it out! And I can’t wait to actually go to the store. Thanks guys for being so epic !!

Great place to find some more eclectic foods. Prices are a little higher than similar local chains (MoC for example) they usually have more options. Before Covid the hot and salad bars were amazing, now theres some pre packaged options, but not as many. Also, for my fellow vegans out there, this place has several vegan options and alternatives for almost any dish or food stuff. Wanna leave a store paying $40 for five items that last a single day? I kid you not, the balance between portion size and price here is abysmally unbalanced. Not to mention, there’s a lot of things they don’t have that most other grocery stores would. If you’re coming here, it’s likely cause you have more cents than sense, or, like me, because it is unfortunately the closest grocery store to my house. Still, I refuse to come here for anything. Also, WF isn’t really ethical, so why would I pretend like I’m doing the world some good by shopping here? I know that a lot of the people who come here tend to think they’re making a difference... don’t kid yourself, it’s a massive scam.
