Im putting on my mask as Im entering and was rudely told by the owner to put it on before entering. I told them Im not from this state and another employee rudely said its Oregon take it or leave it. Usually, businesses say hi how are you when you walk in.

Just had a terrible customer service experience today trying to get some lunch that felt rather abusive. I asked to use the bathroom as a paying customer and was rudely spoken to by Becca. When I insisted that I was a paying customer and asked where it was she rudely responded by slamming the bathroom door open…to the point where there is probably damage on the wall. I have never felt so disrespected in public and to think that someone like Becca who is working behind the name of an establishment that has done so well and who might be treating others who appear different the same way is appalling. I’m guessing that even if I speak to a manager, that they too will treat me the same way.

The kid at the counter was not very friendly but there was a large selection of produce and herbs. I also enjoyed the chai tea latte in the coffee shop.

Great Deli, sandwich was excellent and milkshake very good. Store is just great lots of stuff for vegans and of course everyone

LOVE this place. Favorite for organic and local products. The last 2 times Ive got sandwiches from the deli, there was either an ingredient missing or an added one(wax paper). A little extra attention could be encouraged. Otherwise, a true gem in the Whiteaker.

The closest Eugene has to a bodega. Were lucky to have the Red Barn in our neighborhood. Prices are a bit high but think about what you save not needing a car to live in the Whitaker.Excellent produce and the bulletin board out front is often interesting.

Picked up some leafy greens, some herbs and a couple limes for green juice today. Produce was fresh, it was well priced and the folk were friendly.

Extremely good selection of local, healthy, offbrand items run in a down-to-earth style. Everything you could think of in terms of a health food store. Kind of expensive. You can expect to pay more for almost everything here, with the exception of their drinks in their coffeehouse. The food that they sell there I cannot speak for, but seems close to a slightly above average price.

Great staff. Theyre knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. This spot also had Lions Mane mushrooms! Also fresh wildflower honey. Strongly recommend shopping here. Tastes so good. Super grateful to find my way down there.

Stayed at an Airbnb right next to the Red Barn market -perfect convenience spot, specially the deli! Delicious breakfast sandwiches and bagels, and the staff is lovely.

Really like this place. They did how ever forgot to unwrap a piece of my cheese. Which made for a hilarious bite. Sandwiches where delicious. With the cheese unwrapped.

Perfect little shop for buying bulk without the plastic! Very nice staff! My only objection is honestly one I doubt they can fix: the space is very crowded, to the point that my manual wheelchair had a hard time navigating the shop. I worry that my electric would not do well in there at all. Aside from it being a tiny building, I really liked it. It has a very communal air about it.

Only place we can get our 4 gallon bucket of honey since hummingbirds been closed to the public because of covid.

I love this place. Their produce section is small but consistently better than other shops around town. Great beverage selection and high quality little deli. Impressive how much variety theyre able to fit in there. A little bit of everything and all of it nicely curated.

I always visit the Red Barn when Im in Eugene. Great place for natural ingredients and the staff is always friendly. The bulk dry goods is where this place excels above other stores in the area. They have everything you need for sustainable living, within reason. I highly recommend Red Barn to any food purist in the area.

Someone said there was good sandwiches here. My boyfriend and I thought it would be nice to try it. At 6:31pm we were greeted by a woman in the deli notifying us that her closed sign is out. The one that says the deli closes at 7pm and is attached to a baby high chair blocking the walkway. We left and will not be back. Seems like this place has one problem...The Deli

All of the local, organic fair and household items you may be looking for. I always feel things are a bit too pricey. They do have great bagel sandwiches, coffee and ice cream in a small cafe inside as well, seating is very limited tho!

If youre after Dr. Bonners or a beer or a great sandwich, look no further. Their organic produce section is pretty awesome aswell.

I love that this place has such long hours. You can count on them being open when they say they will be. I dont usually get the deli stuff, but it is good. They usually have the best avocado selection in town in the off-season. Their produce is great in general.For such a tiny store, they have great overall selection and a really good bulk section. Great atmosphere and staff. Everyone is very nice and accommodates your request. Their selection of goods is great for a small store and their prices are a lot lower than one would expect. I grew up in eugene and now live elsewhere and I cant believe it took me till now to finally step foot inside. Regretful.

This place has been a favorite since my first visit. The sunflower pate... the dolmas... the selection of healthy foods and produce from Organically Grown... and a wonderful variety of chocolate bars to choose from! And you cannot beat the friendly and helpful staff here.

We do almost all our shopping here. Good selection of healthy food, but Id give them five stars if they had other fresh meat besides beef, like pork or lamb.

Falsity accused of stealing by one female store employee who ran after me out of the store when I had food in plastic bags with store reciept...... I already put the food in my car with store receipt. She raised her voice as I defended myself showing her receipt of purchase. She knw me because I shopped there frequently. And another male employee came out and told me I was banned...... Negative employees. Shame on them for accusing me of stealing when I already paid for the food...... Ultimately its the owners responsibility to add security cameras to have a record of any store theft. I never stole anything from this merchant. 👎 Negative bad energy. Shop elsewhere. Shame on them.

Red Barn Natural Grocery is an iconic locally owned and and operated neighborhood natural food market in the Whit that is one of the spots that makes Eugene so wonderful. Im very happy that I had the opportunity to know it. :-)

Small, ethical grocery with many organic options and local foods. And theres a little cafe inside.Staff is pretty cool, pretty friendly.Prices might be a little higher than average -- definitely not the place to do the bulk of your shopping.

Awesome neighborhood market. Good selection of products and the prices are very fair and reasonable (and in a lot of cases, lower than other health food stores). There is, also, a quaint little deli/ice cream shop that is good for a quick little snack.
