Eugene has coffee shops on almost every corner but most of them are I need cheap caffeine types of places, not really known for their quality of good roasts. Yes it is surprising, I agree. I thought Oregon was a big coffee culture place? Locals just want heap caffeine. But Tailored really is good. The coffee has a lot of flavor and isnt bitter. This is my favorite coffee place in Eugene.

Absolutely top-notch specialty coffee. Espressos and brewed coffees here are on par with the best shops in the country. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable; really enjoyed the beans from here for home brewing--their roaster clearly knows how to hit the perfect balance of keeping it light and lively to let the nature of the coffee shine through, while developing the sweetness--Im always impressed when fairly light roasts are balanced/sweet/forgiving when I brew them at home. Great shop all around.

Cute little shop right in downtown Eugene, the coffee was fantastic! But we also ordered breakfast sandwiches to go - it took 20 minutes! We had a flight to catch so we didn’t plan waiting that long. My brother went to ask if they were still making our sandwiches and the barista said yes, but I was hoping they would have told us what was taking so long before us having to ask. Once we got the breakfast sandwiches they were tiny! I order a vegetarian breakfast sandwich - I’m glad they had a vegetarian option and it was delicious but for almost $8 and 20 minutes I was expecting a little more.I will say everyone who was “dining in” looked pleased with their food and coffee, the atmosphere was so cool and the art was nice. Everyone was wearing masks and most people were sitting outside.

Tasty vanilla latte and black coffee. They didn’t have coffee sleeves when I was there (not sure if they were out or never have them) so it was hot hot hot on my hand, but other than that it was perfect. Super cool interior!

Tailored has great coffee and avocado toast. A millennial dream.

This pared down coffee shop roasts their own beans on-site. Bags are $12-20. No skim milk but there are dairy-free options. Good place to relax after the bustle of 5th street market across the street.

Love this place. Great music, atmosphere, and most importantly great coffee. They have soy and almond/cashew milk (that they make in house) and some pastries but not really a place to eat. I love the aesthetic of this place and its super comfortable if you need a place to get some work done.

Yesterday was my first time visiting. Service was great, ambiance was nice with plenty of places to sit/study. Coffee was smooth, comforting, and slightly sweet. Fairly priced.

The coffee is good but dont expect anything but latte or filter coffee. I ordered a ristreto and was looked like I came from a distant planet. When I tried to explain that it was simply a short pull espresso, I was looked like I came from a distant galaxy lol. Seriously, simple fare and a good place for a quick stop.

Great coffee. Very unique flavor! This roaster claims that they use a special roasting technique to bring out clarity and brightness of flavor. After tasting it, I believe them! The notes of fruit were very forward and easily discerned. I will definitely stop in the next time I pass through Eugene.

I love everything about this place! Interior design, service, COFFEE, music, overall atmosphere. I have never been disappointed (except when they are closed for the day and I still want coffee). Their almond-cashew latte is the best latte Ive ever had.If I could create a my dream coffee shop...this would be it. So glad to have this spot in Eugene!

Good vibes all day.

Obvious from the start that the employees love what they do and love coffee. So much so that they will sacrifice quantity for quality. Hence a longer than normal wait. They forgot to put a new batch of coffee and I had to wait after we asked and they realized what they did. But they reimbursed and had clear emphasis on customer service. Good coffee. Ended up giving the money back as tip for the good service.

Really good latte. When I was in their it was kinda loud as they were roasting coffee. It was cool to see that they were roasting and tasting the coffee right there. There is a ton of seating outside. Not a lot of outlets so if you wanna work on your computer dont plan on staying long.

Loved this spot!! I was passing through Eugene on my way home to Sacramento and a friend recommended i stop here. Best suggestion ever! Their coffee is amazing and only surpassed by their taste in music and decor. Out of all of the specialty coffee places i visited in Oregon, Tailored offer the best espresso Ive tasted yet. And thats a heavy statement. Its a shame i live so far away, but i cannot wait to come back!

Industrial design, hip and cool. Cappuccino arrived after a minimal wait with foam art and tasted amazing. Pastry was delicious. However, it was really loud. The building design unfortunately makes sound echo and the roaster was going so the music they were trying to play in the background just added noise. Im not someone who minds the chatter of a busy coffee shop, but it was just too much for me to want to sit around. Really high quality food though so I may take it to go next time.

Went here a few times on my travels in Oregon. Always consistently happy with their coffees. The location I went too was nice but felt kind of cramped. Maybe it’s cuz I am big. Super nice people and staff

Stopped at this gem while I was visiting Eugune. The coffee was really great, and the atmosphere was light and hip. I feel like they are going for an industrial space vibe. They offer small nibbles, on top of their stellar coffee. Close proximity to a shopping center, you can park your car for free and be-bop around with your Tailored Coffee.

This is the best place in Eugene to get steamed milk. These guys know what they are doing. I like darker roasts and not a big fan of light roasts. They mostly have light and medium roasts. However I would get their coffee just because they make it well. Head and shoulders above many coffee shops here:)

Still one of my favorite coffee shops in the Eugene/Springfield area. The coffee is top notch, light roasted, and brewed to perfection. They properly brings out all of the rich flavors you hope to find in a great cup.Atmosphere and environment is great, and during nice weather there is outdoor seating.

Hands down the best coffee in Eugene. Micro-roaster with a minimalist look and ‘90s era rap. What’s not to like? It’s like a slice of SF in Eugene.

Great spot. Delicious coffee by the drip and a perfectly made macchiato. Loved the environment, great place to hangout for a couple hours. Also-- the art/marketing on the bags of coffee are so fly!

I enjoy visiting this coffee shop. The Atmosphere is easy going, employees are always friendly and accommodating. I almost always order a chai but have had their espresso as well, delicious. My only complaint (which really is just personal) the type of chai they use has no spice to it whatsoever and it can be bitter at times. Its a hot drink anyways and Ill continue to visit Tailored :)

If youre like me and visiting a new area and looking for the best coffee shop that actually knows how to pull good shots, this is one of those places. I was trained by Stumptown in Portland and hate paying too much for terrible espresso, or drinks that look nice but have burnt shots. This place is worth your money.

Hipster-ish. Quiet and a good place to read, work, or study. Enough places to sit, but no comfy chairs like what you might find in some other cafes and coffee joints. All in all a good place.

This coffee shop reminds me of my favorite coffee shop in Portland, Case Study. The aroma in the room is of fine roasts and handcrafted espresso, which tastes creamy and slightly sweet over the classic bitter. Great for a morning outing to the 5th Street Market.

For specialty coffee professionals and aficionados, Tailored Coffee is what you are looking for in Eugene. Roasting on a Proaster, they have profiles focused on development and you won’t find roastiness in the beans. Delicious and articulate single origins, a very balanced espresso, and appropriately textured milk made Tailored a very welcome find. The batch brew is well handled too and is so clean and vibrant that you won’t even miss not having a pour-over.

This is another excellent example of why I consider Eugene as THE West Coast coffee capital. Yes, Seattle is home to Starbucks but 200 venders serving the exact same thing gets, well, boring!! Eugene has a LOT of great coffee roasters and Tailored is one of the really nice ones!First of all you need to know its in the middle of a block of row shops at at first glance you think restaurant so if you are unfamiliar with the location, grab the first available parking and take a short walk to the eastern half of the block across the street from 5th Street Public Market.I met up with a friend and it was very early in the morning so very few people there. The staff were excellent and very accommodating, plus I got an opportunity to watch things you normally wouldnt see in peak operation time.The coffee,... honestly I normally have straight espresso or Americano so anything wrong with the roast doesnt even get a chance to be covered up... plus, the coffee of the day was not one of my favorite bean sources but one sip changed my outlook. It was truly excellent!! Rich and smooth. Well done Tailored Coffee Roasters!! Eugene scores another great venue!!

Spent the better part of a day here working on my laptop. Had drip coffee (delicious). The place was not busy most of the time, steady stream of customers, but pretty relaxed. Two baristas, both were nice. Wifi is very good and fast! They play music, but not too loud. Its in a really cool part of town.

Jeff, Brian and the crew do a great job. They always greet you with a smile and learn yiur favorite coffee order. The service is excellent, the coffee superb and the treats are divine!

I absolutely love this coffee shop! The coffee is awesome and the ambience is unique from most other shops. Our barista was friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions regarding their chai and espresso origin. They were playing all sorts of hip hop, which I love, and the shop had a generally laid back feel. I love going to shops and hearing Jeezy.

During my four week stay in Eugene, I spent hours and hours at Tailored. At the moment (July 2016), Tailored is the only place in Eugene doing light roast coffee, and they know how to brew it as well! Amazing cold brew. Supernice atmosphere, great music, as well as passionate and friendly baristas. Thanks to Brian, Geoff and the other baristas!

Some of the best if not THE best coffee in the NW

Stopped by on a slow Saturday afternoon for the first time. Excellent 4 star service by a very friendly gentleman who told me the brew was Columbian. It reminds me of Full City coffee though not as rich and just a hair bity. Condiments are whole milk and raw sugar. There is room for more like honey, half/half ect. They do have nice long iced tea spoons - impressive. The inside is very pleasant though I usually prefer outdoors especially if the music is rap, which it was. The steel mesh high back chairs outside are comfortable. The outside faces south so I got some tan until it got too hot. This address is ruled by the number 3 and Capricorn.
