If I could give Hertz Car Sales a 10 I definitely would..first off let me say that I have been with 2 of my daughters when they purchased a car. This time I was with my grandaughter. The difference between this place and a regular used car lot is that these vehicles were rental cars that have been very well taken care of!! Its practically as close to a new car as you can get. They have a fantastic selection of cars, trucks, vans, pretty much they have vehicles of every type. Im not trying to put auto salesmen in a box but Ill use my daughter as an example. I told her no matter what dont buy all this additional stuff offered to u by the salesman u want your car to be affordable. I left her alone with him for less then 10 minutes and he had talked her into all kinds of stuff, to the point that it had an additional $150 added to her payment. Okay now the salesman at Hertz that helped us was named Ricky. He was soft spoken and mannerly and not pushy at all. He was upfront and honest with everything. He saw how badly my grandaughter wanted the vehicle she took on a test drive.. initially the payments were pretty spendy. I left to take pics of the lot for my review and came back and the payment was lower... By the time we were through she was able to make her purchase and they managed to get her payments down to an affordable price!! It was amazing how they made her feel she was part of every decision. They cared about her input and made sure she had a say!! All the employees were very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. It made me want to trade in my 2018 Sonic for a new ride!! I suggest everyone stop here first. Your not gonna get a lemon thats gonna fall apart while your still paying payments... included is Gap insurance. My daughter has purchased 2 cars here . The first one was totaled and the Gap Insurance paid off the car...I guarantee you will have the best experience car shopping here!! I will recommend this place to everybody!! The best cars, the genuinely caring side of the salesmen and just really willing to work with you and help you drive away happy in a new car!!The first picture is the vehicle my grandaughter bought. Personally I have some social anxieties and he was very helpful but also let.my.husband and Iook around and test drive on our own and then ask questions if we needed. He was available to us as we needed him to be but not too much. I hate going to a car dealer and being attacked by sales people. They were able to work with us a bit on the price of the car and we left happy with a larger vehicle for our growing family.

Ive always been so skeptical when it comes to buying a vehicle off a carlot. Maybe its the urban legends mixed with the stereotype degradation portrayed on television that did it, but my buying experience was nothing short of excellent. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I would. Kenny directed me to Jeff who was gracious, courteous, knowledgeable and non pressuring. He obviously knew we wanted to leave in a new(To us) vehicle bit his patience was saintly. He let us test drive two, and probably wouldve let us test drive all day had we not found the car that ticked all our boxes. Well, 9 of them, but as far as car buying experiences go....thats a win/win....so Im told. He met our budget, our down payment and even made it so we can trade up after the credit goes up more. This is the dealership I will be doing business with from now on, whether trading up or recommending friends. Good job guys!!!

Very disappointed in the unethical deceptive business practices of this place. Should have read their reviews online with a more discerning eye. My experience was - They are unwilling to negotiate on price. They provided an inflated Blue Book value for a vehicle we were looking at, they had features added on it they werent even on the vehicle despite the VIN # being referenced at the top of the page. Left after I couldnt get them to budge on price. They later contacted me and dropped the price, but when I returned interested in purchasing the vehicle they would no longer honor the reduced price. Not interested in that kind of shady business practices. Shame on you Jeff!Update: Read the response from the GM at Hertz. A customer who left your lot was dissatisfied with their experience. Your employee contacted me and offered a reduced sale price which was not honored when I returned to buy the vehicle. No lame excuses justify this deceptiveness. No B.S. about it depending on supply and demand. That was a clear a blatant bait and switch trick which IS UNETHICAL AND DECEPTIVE. An apology is in order. Improved behavior and honest ethical sale tactics are in order. You missed the opportunity to sell a vehicle and thats what I thought you were in the business of doing. Your potential new customers should be warned that these are the dirty tricks you play and when called on the carpet your response lacks accountability, remorse or integrity. How about responding with I apologize that this was your experience.Contact me personally so we can honor the reduced price we offered. As a result of this experience, I hope that car sits on your lot unsold for many months to come to act as a constant reminder of a lost opportunity to do right by potential customers who had the intent to purchase a vehicle from you.

15 months ago I took an employee of mine to Hertz and the experience was awesome. I went in to Hertz yesterday and found the same finance guy and the same salesman, Jeff. I was in the market for a truck and my wife found Hertz online and found exactly what I was looking for. The salesman Jeff Montez was great. He didnt try to pressure me into a vehicle I really did not want. He was fast and efficient, so my family didnt end up waiting there all day. The finance manager Brendan Shrieve was also very helpful in getting me the payments I could afford with a reasonable interest rate. I would recommend Hertz to anyone with a moderate budget looking for a decent used vehicle.

Bought a car here from Ron. Im glad we have the car but I would not come here again. Our salesman was what you would expect, pushy, bad listener and even worse communicator. This place was our first stop, we had just start looking. We test drove one car and decided that for our price range and what we were looking for, we would like more info on the financial side of it. Hours later we were signing on the dotted line. The only reason we said yes was because we thought the deal was agreeable. Ron was terrible at answering questions, he acted as if every question was an affront on him and his knowledge. He tried to make himself more likable by clinging to his southern charm but in doing so he just made the experience uncomfortable and strained.The day after we brought the car home we notice a squealing belt sound when we would turn the wheel all the way, something we didnt hear during the test drive. I called immediately and was told to bring it in the next morning to their shop. I come in only to be told they had no idea that I was coming in and that I must have spoken with a sales person who didnt know what they were talking about and that they dont communicate with the repair shop. They found time to look at it for me but I was told that the couldnt replicate the sound. I dont know how because now when I turn the care on or when I turn the even slightly it makes that awful sound!I wish it ended there. I got a call from Ron a while later and he asked me to come in to sign new financing paperwork, he made it sound very urgent and he was short with me on the phone as if he didnt have time to actually speak with me. I told Ron that I would be off work at 5:30pm and that I would be coming from Springfield and then I would have to go pick up my husband and then we would be over. All this without telling me why we had to resign finance papers. The day comes to go sign, I get off work and on my way to them I call and speak to the finance guy and I asked for copies of a couple things and he was put off and thought I was supposed to be there at 5:30, I informed him that was not what I had said to Ron when we set this up. I told him we were still on our way. When we meet with the finance man I asked what this was for and he was very rude at first, saying that I should know and that it was for the new contract.... I was angry and I told him that Ron didnt tell me why we had to come back in, just that we needed to. After that was cleared up the rest of the meeting was pleasant. The best part of this whole experience was the finance man, he worked hard for us and we got a better deal out of all of this than we thought we could.Lastly, I received a letter from Ron last week. Keeping it classy it was a thank you card over a month after we purchased the vehicle, and of course the thank you was just another way for Ron to market to us and our friends and family because he included two of his business cards and wrote in the card to let anyone who is looking for a car to send them his way. I will not be doing that. Ever.Of all the used car lots in Eugene, this one is probably one of the nicer ones, but I wouldnt recommend it. And I really wouldnt recommend Ron.

I began my day at integrity auto, praying about my car situation with only a mustard seed of faith. The new front desk lady was so personable it felt as though she had been there for years! It was only her 7th day or so. And the guy who came out to the front and spoke with me wrote down all of what I had spoke to him about with my vehicle, not only did they have a master technician diagnose my vehicle, but I was given an honest answer about the condition of my circumstances. BUT IT DOESNT STOP HERE NO! I was treated with a considerable care and told to check out Hertz for a trade in. This decision not only altered my life today, but put me in a position to now have a vehicle that will last me the next 15 years. This company has been such a blessing to run into along with its associates and has not only earned my business but also the name INTEGRITY truly stands out above all car auto care centers.The sales mans name is Ron and he said: its not about my commission, my job is to get you in a car and thats what were going to do!I said I only have a mustard seed. He said, sometimes thats all it takes 😭.Very blessed by such a great company and local business by word of mouth and Divine intervention. We bought our 2008 Jeep Wrangler from them. The purchase experience was great. What really stands Hertz apart from the competition is they stand by what they say. They follow through with promises. We will be back for our next vehicle purchase.

We have bought 2 cars from Hertz in Eugene in the last 3 years. Then in October 2018 my husband took our adult son out there to look at a car. My son ended up buying a car. Hubby was told he would get a $100 referral incentive since my son made a purchase. Now its March 2019 and still no $100. I have called out there a couple times and told they will look into it and left all pertinent information and still no $100. My husband is unabe to work since last year and that $100. they promised would have been nice! Also I highly recommend you dont buy their GAP insurance .The company they use are extremely hard to file a claim with and even slower to respond when you finally do get a claim filed. I suggest you get your GAP through your auto insurance company. We are done with Hertz!!

We had been looking all weekend from Salem to Portland and finally went to Eugene. We should have started in Eugene and not wasted our time with the others. We were greeted very warmly. Shown the cars we were interested in and was given time to look and talk about our concerns with each other. After we had decided on the right vehicle for us we started the financing witch went very smooth. After explaining what would work for us and our budget our salesman did an excellent job listening to our needs and coming up with the right plan for us. Over all we were glad that we went to Eugene and will diffidently return there for all our automobile needs.

Great service department. Ralph the service advisor is very helpful and informative. he takes the time to explain any needed services. The detail shop is without a doubt the best in town! I was amazed how great my vehicle looked after Mike in detail was done.

Hated the whole experience. They said they checked my car out but never did. Said my car was taken in to Ford for testing. I asked for proof of service. Denied proof. Then I get a factory recall on my car for the exact same reason I took it in to have it fixed. I call and Jason the manager gave me nothing but attitude wad completely disrespectful over the phone. Sounded like he was the customer telling me I was wrong. Yes my car is getting fixed Jason but two months of hard driving when the car is not running hire its supposed to us hard on them. Sorry you feel I am responsible for your service teams lack of knowledge on hybrid cars. Jason you cant put words in my mouth you you refused to give me your corporate number so you can as you said tell them I said the Im calling a lawyer.not my words at all. The word if was used before my statement. If you dont want to help me then Ill call your supervisor and if need I will get a lawyer. So your a big bulky Jason and you need a lesson in customer service... Im continuing my claim against you.After taking the car in to my local Ford dealer ship to have the manufactured recall fixed the batteries got serviced as well. If your service department took my car to Ford why did this not get fixed. Now that my car has been serviced properly by a real mechanic the car runs and drives great. Thanks for the poor service.

I am pleased with the service with Jeff, the salesman, who responded me promptly and helped me to pick right car I wanted. However, beware of the finance department if you are getting finance through them. Provide your own finance plan through your insurance or the bank. Otherwise, you have to be careful!I got finance through Hertz and I was kind of careless about reading the documents because I was in so much hurry for going back to the work. Finance man, Sean, wanted me to buy some kind of service plan that I didnt want to. He kept giving me the numbers and convinced me with the affordable plan. I know all those service wouldnt be unnecessary, but decided to have one because I kind of felt like to hep him. Finally, he put the contract in the envelope and sealed it tight and told me not to open it until I get my registration and license plate from DMV with smiley face.I trusted him, but was too much naive. I clearly mentioned that I wanted 3 years term for the finance at first, but he changed it to 4 years term so that he could give me a right numbers for monthly payment. Well, he included over $4,500.00 service plan on my loan amount! Most of all, he didnt tell me anything about it! I almost got shocked and felt like I was deceived!I called the business manager, who were helpless. He told me that he couldnt help me because he doesnt know anything about the finance department. When I talked to the Sean, he promised me to send me the cancellation form right away, but he never did. He didnt do anything! It was Rose, the lady who actually apologized and handled the problem. However, it took almost a month for me to resolve this problem!I have got 3 cars from Hertz over 5 years, but I am not going to deal with them anymore. The cars were fine. The salesman was fine. Its just finance department who didnt care about the customer, but the money!

This is the second purchase we have made from Hertz Eugene and the experience has been great both times. Jeff Montez has been our salesman on both occasions and he has been a total pleasure to work with on both occasions. Scott Heusch has also been involved in the process both times and has done an amazing job to ensure that everything went through perfectly! The best car buying experience I have ever had.Scott, the manager, found the truck I wanted and we made a deal before I even saw it.The deal seemed too good to be true, as the price and miles were lower than any other car online.I was a little apprehensive buying sight unseen.When I showed up the truck was perfectly detailed and in WAY better condition than expected.Hertz of Eugene under promised and over delivered.I will be buying all of my used vehicles at Hertz of Eugene in the future.I cannot recommend them highly enough.
