Excellent auto mechanic shop. Ask for Adam. When got back into town from Colorado was going to a local dealership here for oil change. They had lists of stuff to get done that did not need to get done. Adam from River Road Automotive has helped me with 2007 Subaru Legacy Outback. Adam was honest and did good work and was recommended to me by someone else that had same experience with the local dealership. The price on my mechanic bill was good value not a lot. Not close to the local dealerships prices. Adam was very quick and punctual with completing the work. It was also solid work. Adam also was educating me on the mechanic work and gave me a lot of good information. I learned while I was listening to Adam. I went to River Road Automotive twice now with excellent experiences. Just recommend if you can scheduling up to a week ahead but they do take day of work too. Just call them and talk to Adam. My car has been running strong since. Thank you!

Ive been going here for about a decade and as a young female I was never spoken down to or overpriced. The owner has always been incredibly respectful, honest, and goes above and beyond to help people. Plus he has a great sense of humor and wonderful personality, which can really take the stress out of dealing with car repairs. Everyone Ive sent here has come back with wonderful stories. I dont have enough kind words to say about these folks, but I will happily be their walking commercial and a customer for life.

My car broke down about a mile up the road from these guys as I was traveling around with my van full of my life. These guys got me right in made a place for my car as soon as I arrived. One of the men working was even going to offer me a ride to the airport to get a rental. I just can not say enough about how happy I was to have good, honest people to be working with. If I lived there, theyd get all my business all of the time. Highly recommend.

We have taken 3 of our vehicles into River Road Automotive for repairs and maintenances for the last 5 years, from a Ford Ranger, a Kia Sedona to an older RV. We are thoroughly impressed and satisfied with their services. These are good, honest, knowledgeable technicians. It has been a while but I called and spoke with Adam today, about my 2012 Kia Sedona. He patiently listened as I explained my vehicles electronic problems. And much to my surprised, he recommends that I call Shelbys Auto Electrons for faster and more cost effective service as River Road Automotive do not specialize in automotive electronics, adding that Shelbys is the best in town when it comes to electronic work.Simply put, I was amazed! He straight up helped me without taking advantage of my situation or a dime! River Road Automotive and the fine techs here are the definition of integrity! I will always bring my vehicles to you as you have our complete trust!

Kind of spendy. I think they ripped me off. I spent 310$ to find out I didnt need an oil change and I havent changed my oil since I got the car last October. Nor did any of my other fluids get changed because apparently they were all fine. All they did after the 90$ diagnostics was change my spark plugs. I dont know...maybe they are sterling silver spark plugs ???

Broke down today down the road in the drive thru at McDonald’s. Called Adam and he referred me to a tow company that he trusts. Tow company came and got my truck to him with the quickness. He diagnosed my issues and will have me on the road tomorrow. They even let me put my tools in his shop to keep them safe. Couldn’t be happier with his shop. His guy was even willing to give me a ride but I live over an hour away. They will be getting all my business and anyone I know who needs work will be sent to them. Thanks again Adam!!!

Ive had three experiences with this place, and all of them positive. The first time I needed a/c work done on my 2001 Prius. I thought it was leaking but they said it was a valve that was broken. They replaced it and it worked fine for a year, then the a/c stopped cooling again. I took it back and they said the valve theyd put in malfunctioned. They replaced it. How much, I asked? Nothing, they said. We stand by our work. The other time was when I had taken my Subaru to the local dealer for a recall matter. That dealership did a free inspection and told me I needed my transmission fluid replaced, and a couple of other things, which would cost about $600. So I took it to River Road for a second opinion. They checked it out and said I didnt need any of those things! Honest, competent, reasonably priced, and friendly. What more can you ask?

If I could give more stars, I would. Honest, knowledgeable and great prices. Couldnt ask for anything more. Thank you, Adam, for making my experience of having to get a van repair hurt less. 10/10 recommend.

Adam is a great guy, very fair, didnt even charge me to diagnose a problem when I needed to go to the dealer for parts. He also answered my call before opening to give me info on my car. If I still lived in Eugene hed be my go to mechanic.

For $50 radiator he asked $650 to install. I got offer from other mechanics about $400. I asked him for discount he said lowest $500 otherwise come take the car in 1hour and arguably not nicely anyway I wish never took car to river road automotive. Strongly dont go. I took my car to get my breaks looked at and Wade told me they could fix the squeak but that it was not necessary for the safety of the breaks. I really appreciated his honesty and will definitely take my car back in to him for any future problems. He also gave me his cell phone number and updated me with text messages about my car. Brought in my 08 Focus because of a check engine light and Adam grabbed the reader and told me the issue on the spot, which was awesome. The Ford dealership charges $200 for a diagnostic fee which is robbery. Told me what was wrong, showed me what he was going to buy and the price. Also showed me the shop for a bit, very cool of him. They were very upfront and transparent about everything and that made me feel good about the work they do. To top it all off, when the car was done he had someone in the shop come pick me up so i didnt have to walk to get the car. I live close by, but that was really helpful. They made my stressful week a little less stressful, i recommend giving them a try.

I have been taken advantage of by other shops. My wiper assembly came apart during the recent deep freeze. I was told elsewhere that it would cost $300 to replace. But the guys at River Road Auto fixed it and it cost just $95! I highly recommend this shop if you need any work done on your vehicle. I trust them to do right by their customers. I will be back.

Still on the fence. Wade seems like a fairly legitimate guy... and there was a discrepancy of over $120 between estimate and actual work... never a happy day.

We are Mechanics ourselves and we have known them for years and have sent allot of work to them over the years, as a matter of fact they dont even realize how many people we have sent their way, well awhile back I needed a personal favor to have my VW Jetta heater core installed and he literally just refused to do the work I couldnt believe it, so I will no longer send people their way dont get me wrong they do good work but now they are getting stuck on themselves think they are to good and decide what they are just going to ignore I wasnt asking for a discount just a favor my wife needed her car my mechanic partner was out of town and I was swamped and couldnt get to my personal vehicle, man all the people we sent to him all these years what a kick in the face. NO INTEGRITY. --UPDATE since I was swamped and couldnt get to my vehicle and the wife really needed that heater core my father in-law did it for me and funny thing it only took him and his friend a couple hours to take the old one out and put a new one in so again I say what a cop out If I wasnt putting customers first I would have done it myself I guess it just shows how incompetent they are down at River Road Automotive was a fairly easy job but you heard the man he only takes certain selected brands so if you need a mechanic that can do it all I guess look else where and use your own judgement!

This business has failed 2 times at a Valve cover gasket.Both times a folded valve cover gasket was installed and not checked . Over torquing bolts . Resulting in me paying out of pocket for these mechanics mistakes .. And they blamed me for over torqued bolts when I dident even touch my vaulve cover .So today out of curiosity I decided to unbolt my cam gear cover and check . Well Lookes like another vaulve cover gasket for me ! Also I had a poor Idle issues,so they replaced my mass airflow sensor. all reality It was my Egr vaulve completely clogged with carbon build up. Im not a mechanic but I could be if these guys were hiring 😂 btw I own the White Midsubishi Mighty max 👌🏻 I tell my friends to stay far away ... You can trick old people not me ..
