And Jeannie Thomas in the finance department, didn’t try too hard - sell me a lot of things that I really don’t need. She did note that I drove very few miles per year on my trade-in. And that I may not need some of the extra insurance. I was very thankful and appreciative. Plus, Derek and Jeannie have a great personality and are fun to work with.I shall return for service and my next Mini.

This is my a great dealership to purchase a car from. First off, they dont hound you as you walk the lot. If you duck inside though and say your interested, they are more than willing to help. I started off with building a Mini Countryman online and sending it to Mini of Escondido. Derek followed up with me right away, found the car I had built in another CA based dealership, detailed and discussed all of the price point details (over text no less), went to Santa Monica to get my Mini, and then secured an appt for me. No hidden strings either when I arrived at my time. Finance was quick and easy when it was my turn too. My Advice - Have nothing to do with this dealership.We leased a 2017 mini from Brecht and enjoyed the car. I brought the mini in for the last covered service while still under warranty which they tried to charge me for. No mileage issues involved, they are just dishonest!We liked the Mini so much we chose to lease a second one from Brecht but inquired what would happen if we found we needed a bigger car. NO PROBLEM THEY SAID - WE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!We did end up wishing to purchase a BMW one year into the lease as we needed to transport relatives with failing health.Now they changed their position! To Quote: THE ONLY WAY WE WILL LET YOU OUT OF THIS LEASE IS IF YOU PAY OFF THE FULL PROFIT VALUE OF THE LEASE $8,000 worth, only offering a value on the Mini way below book! Be careful. This dealership used the quote and bump method of pricing on me. I requested an all in price and I received a written quote. I promptly accepted the offer. Then they increased their quote by $1,390 for dealer installed accessories they said could not be removed and I would have to pay for. I went elsewhere, the other dealership gave me a price, I said yes, and we easily completed the deal at exactly what they quoted me. The tactic of quoting a price and then adding a surprise, mandatory increase at closing is one that immediately sends me out the door.

Had a call back first thing and Joe Chen was ready when I came and moved me quickly through the process and answered all my questions once I arrived.

Last month we decided to purchase a Mini Cooper county men. Michael Beckham helped us through the process and couldn’t have done a better job! Mini has moved- once I found my guy Brandon again, I was happy to sit in the well ventilated and spaced out waiting area while the maintenance was done on my mini. I bought my mini from them in 2013 and have had every maintenance done with them. They are great and don’t try to make up things to add on just to get more $$. Brandon is great and I trust him with my mini maintenance.

Stopped in to their new showroom to purchase a used Mini and left with a brand new one. The sales rep and finance department took care of us and we were pleased with the deal.

Always love MINI service but this time...I left my car at 8am. They called me at 12:30 to say it was done and it was being washed (my favorite part). When I arrived at 3:30 my car had still not been washed. And they wanted me to wait! I couldn’t so I was bummed. Hopefully better next time! Would have been nice for them to offer for me another time to come get it washed. Just saying. My car was there for 7 hours for simple service. 😢

They had the one Mini that I was looking for in CA. I love the 2020 Mini that I purchased. But the vehicle came with a low car battery and the paperwork was incorrectly completed. Those two issues caused me to have to drive 2hr and 15 min each way to be corrected. I plan to do all of my future business at Mini of Ontario.

Had to replace a jack which bent when we tried to change a tire and the car shifted. It is a 1996 BMW 328i Convertible and I went through several firms on the internet that claimed to have it in stock but were later told they didnt actually have it in stock and could not obtain one. I finally found Mini of Escondido (BMW Discount Parts) and immediately liked their website and found one which I ordered and within a couple of hours was told they had to get it from Germany and it would take 2-3 weeks. So I said fine, Ill wait, and sure enough they notified me when it came in and immediately shipped it our with a tracking# and it came perfectly shipped and even a week early. Very impressed by this company. They were honest and communicative, which is really everything. I will definitely use them again.

We have purchased two minis for our family from this location.Our daughter bought a preowned leased Mini Cooper as her first car. She was and is thrilled to drive it.My wife owns a Mini Countryman (red and white paint job). She loves it.The service department is great.Always professional, no BS.Our latest visit included my wife’s Mini being detailed.It was washed and cleaned.We have a corgi. We had no idea there was that much dog hair in the car.Our apologies.We will continue to be customers.However I do have one issue. When we purchased my wife’s car it came with a Pit Pass sticker.We were told that we could bring the car by from time to time and the outside would be washed off as a courtesy. Great.Not long after we asked about it and were told they discontinued the pit pass.Kinda sucks. Should you ever reinstate this policy please let us know.That would be awesome customer service.Thanks,Mark Hartline

No one wants to visit the service department however Brandon and his team make it as convenient as possible let me start with by saying Im the type of individual that will bring their car in regardless of a light going on if I hear a squeak or a tick or any unusual sounds its in the service department for a checkup!! Brandon has never made me feel as if I was a hypochondriac hes taken down my concerns and has the repair team address them thoroughly he keeps in contact with me via text message which is my preference I feel as if Im in the know.

She is not your typical sales person that would try to sell you anything. A wonderful personality that did not waste my time walking the lot. Very knowledgeable of the vehicle and if she did not know the answer she would talk with not just her manager but someone from the service department. She was very honest and truthful about the information you will need to purchase a vehicle. I ended up leaving with a 2019 MINI Cooper S Countryman which took me a few day to pull the trigger to get. I think he is primarily at the nearby BMW dealership but Mini should really be trying to keep this guy around because he is professional, personable and extremely efficient in getting through the sometimes difficult process of picking a new car.
