As a former employee it’s taken me a while to process the insanity that is this business and the weird experience I had there. I don’t feel much background story is needed, but as someone with over 7 years in retail/sales (most in small businesses with the loveliest owners) I’ve never dealt with a person who happens to own a business that is so shallow and vindictive, I knew I had to get out. This is the message I got from Cheryl when I kindly and swiftly resigned.Enjoy!In the future I recommend that you communicate with your employer. You can only learn when you understand the big picture. You are a young person working with older more seasoned employees. You still have a lot to learn. All young people go through a learning curve. If not with me you will simply do it at your next job. Maturity is your only downfall. An example is not giving proper notice today. Best of luck Sarah. You are a lovely young lady. Great gift items. Sad they closed

This store is so poorly managed that I truly truly regret convenience shopping here .Not only do their salespeople have a consistently strange demeanor - ( poor knowledge of product / no understanding of the costumer needs and an incredibly rigid approach to the purchase procedure - bagging and gift wrap )They’re simply not well trained -I walked in and when I inquired about a gift for a 3 year old both sales people began choosing items hand helping pretty well / then it got weird as it always does - the back sales person did this weird manic smile as I approached her desk and she called it her “ holding station “ and spoke loudly about not approaching her desk -They are just awful and I suggest you find these gifts on line or at a better priced shop

I like this place they have dragons and other items that I typically cant find anywhere else. Clean and well-kept store also. If youre looking for Unique necklaces earrings and dragon figurines and other items this is the store for you.

This store is great. I have shopped here numerous times. There are many different items especially aimed towards women including jewelry, candles, and other unique items. The people working there are also very helpful. I would highly recommend this store. Great place to look for gifts!

I was completely blown away by the young gal behind the counter!! Janay is her name.... I told her how very impressed I was with her professional and attentive service! What a pleasant surprise as most always in retail the folks look as though one foot is already out the door and they’d get a root canal rather than be helpful.One other reason I was overwhelmed by this sweet girl was because I could over hear a conversation she was having with someone who called to inquire about a job. She went above and beyond with her kind words, letting this person know that although the recent opening was filled, that they would certainly be hiring additional help for the holidays and to check in again.She helped me pick out a couple of items, and wrapped beautifully the gifts I purchasedI also plan on calling the Owner of Lotus! She must already know how lucky she is to have Janay!

Very negative experience today! I have shopped here in the past for gifts as I have found unique gifts for family & friends, but I will never shop there again after todays very negative experience. I asked for permission to bring a cart in the store as my special needs child was inside the cart snuggled in a blanket and I was refused. I explained that I had a special needs child and could not shop any other way & I was still refused entrance by the owner of the store.

This is such a beautiful and amazing gift store they have sentimental gifts they have expensive gifts they have not so expensive gifts. There is a certain type of Enchantment about this store and the gifts that they provide us to give to the ones that we love they have jewelry purses men stuff even children stuff cards and gift bags as well they have a lot of spiritual things also I highly recommend that you make time to visit the store at least once because it is an amazing store I guarantee you will go back again and again

I had the best customer service ever, with Janay, Friday night, 8/2/19. I am handicapped and was looking at cards, in a basket on the floor but, due to balance issues, it was difficult. Janay carried the basket to the cashier station, without my asking and allowed me to comfortably look through the cards. I stayed until the store closed and another customer entered at 8:05. Janay treated the customer with respect and patience even though the store was closed. Please commend her kindness and professionalism.

My wife and I used to drop in here regularly for great gift cards and to check out the Holly Yashi earrings collection...one of my wifes favorite brands.Always great friendly service! We moved to Solana Beach so we dont call in anymore.

Horrible customer service from Owner! The worst owner in the world. Wish more people knew what a mean person owned this shop. Cheryl is unprofessional, unkind and frankly maniacal. Youll notice the turn over in employees. Feel so sad for them. Glad I know now so I can avoid shopping there and tell others to do the same.

Came in here by chance with my fiancée the other day and was taken away.This is a little craft shop for all your holistic wants, crafts and decor.We were politely greeted by an angelic voice who was very down-to-earth in her demeanor. She was never pushy and her pleasant approach allowed us to peruse the store and even loose track of time! The music selection they had playing made for the perfect ambiance and set the mood.We were in there for over an hour taking in the decor and all the items for sale.There was incense and oils as part of an aromatherapy section. Then there was the clothing department with shirts, dresses and hats. My fiancée especially liked their hippy bags selection. There were various selections of holistic Buddhist crafts, as well as new age theme items. But there was something for everyone in there really.We were truly impressed with this store and we will be returning for more earrings and crafts. I recommend!

Horrible experience! Friend bought me a present there, they refused to exchange it for me. Will never ever shop there and make sure I let everyone know! Also, really strong patchouli smell, gave me an instant headache

Has Holly Yashi jewellery. Its the only non allergenic jewellery that my wife can wear.
