So fun to see what you can find here! They have lots of unusual health food options, but you cant depend on finding all the regular items you need at this store. Its more of a hit or miss.

Always worth Supporting Ebenezer grocery over any of the big companies out there. It’s actually almost ALWAYS worth checking out before going to any other store… and normally… you can find almost everything you need. I’ve heard all there vegetables are local farm grown. There deli is also always great. Check out the freezer section every time!!They also sometimes have super high end cleaning products at an amazing price.My wife and I call it “the ebs”

Ebenezers is a gem of a grocery store. Mostly, its a good outlet store with some expired (but totally fine) food and off brand items. Its mostly pretty random. Canned goods are as expensive (if not more) then at a typical grocer. Where Ebenezers really rocks is the random boxed items, produce, dairy, frozen, and deli. You can usually score deals there. I feel like you will benefit more from Ebenezers if you are not flowing a strict list, are not a brand loyalist, and know how to evaluate produce. If you can be flexible or have a big freezer for bulk foods (common), then you should definitely check it out.

Staff is always Friendly and helpful. Discount Grocers are always Hit & Miss stock but this Grocery Store has a fresh Deli counter that sets them apart. Grabbed boneless chicken thighs for 99 cents a pound as a usual and soda on the cheap.

Fabulous discount store with many organic , vegetarian, gluten free, and bulk options. Organic produce too. There are dairy, meat & deli departments too.

Love this store! So many awesome healthy food options at awesome prices. I love the produce selection too.Too the mask dictators, if you want to wear a mask and think it protects you then you should do that. Don’t complain, give one star reviews to businesses that are already struggling because you’re upset about a mask. There is only so much a business can do, to give a review of one star for masks just shows the character of person. If you’re that scared of a virus with over a 99% survival rate then you should probably just stay home and ask someone to deliver your groceries.

Great prices and food options. But as for the staff they are awful. I had 2 cashiers. They were gossiping and talking poorly about another employee. They gave me a bag that was ripped. I didnt notice right away till a half gallon and other things fell on my foot. They proceeded to laugh at me. Watch me bag my own things all over again. Rushed me and kept talking bad about the other employee. My foot was instantly bruised and never got asked on if I was ok. No sympathy. Such poor customer service. I feel bad for the girl they were ganging up on. I saw her in the parking lot as the a woman talking bad about her came out and muttered what is taking her so long.

I was there April 10 2021 and found they are trying to sell yogurt dated best by February 2 2021 for 25 cents a cup . Would you chance it ???

Great selection and prices, but unfortunately an increasing number of patrons shop unmasked. Ebenezer staff are unwilling to put forth even minor effort to enforce mask wearing. Im look forward to their canned response about medical exemptions. I find it hard to believe entire unmasked, families shopping together all suffer from medical conditions that prevent the wearing of a cloth mask.Ebenezer Grocery is rapidly becoming the largest disappointment of 2021.

We love Ebenezer’s! I come here every week for most of my groceries. Great prices. Lots of organic stuff. Meat is good quality and the deli is good. Produce can be hit or miss, but for the price, it’s worth it!

Ive been going to Ebenezer since I was a little girl, when it was the smaller shop. The quality back then was as it is now... very cheap. You can get a lot of groceries for a good bargain. I only have two complaints, and that would be that the atmosphere can be a little dull. Some employees dont seem to smile at some customers. As someone who works in customer service, I always try my best to make sure the customer feels that they are welcomed. It is hit or miss here and it lacks the enthusiasm to draw customers in. Also, the quality in some of their produce, especially the fruit is poor. Recently I walked into the produce section to find that most of the strawberries were moldy and rotten, and it didnt seen as though the employees had changed them out. I would recommend this place for their Deli and their cheaper items, but perhaps not their produce.

There is zero mask enforcement here and its obvious the owners/managers have stopped caring. The worst place Ive ever been in regards to people complying with wearing masks. Its obvious word has gotten out to the anti-maskers that this is a safe place for them cause every time Im in there maybe 50% or less are wearing masks. Get it together Ebenezers! Its not hard. Every other store has got this figured out. I will not be shopping here anymore.To the management that says they are enforcing masks... NO YOU ARE NOT. Theres never been anyone at the door the multiple times when Ive come in. Ive never seen anyone approach a customer to ask that they wear a mask. Stop lying that youre enforcing. Youre not and its obvious. There arent multiple people in your store at one time with health problems. Stop making excuses and post someone at the door to enforce. Its literally what every other store does. Pathetic excuses.

This store has good prices. Not the best on every thing, but their deli counter is very reasonable. And the Pepperidge Farm thrift bread is nice.Some good deals to be found in the freezer section as well.Very pleasant staff. A joy to interact with.

Good prices and nice assortment of products. Bought 2 NY Strip Steaks to grill for dinner. Looked great, grilled up great. Unfortunately they were VERY tough. I thought I cut into a tough spot but found the same throughout the steak. My wife had the same experience. After seeing all the positive reviews about the meat department I guess I was expecting more. I may try again, but not too soon.

If your website says ‘masks required’ but, your explanation of your in store practices say ‘we recommend masks be worn’, then I felt I was misled into believing the state and federal mandates were being enforced. I was so upset by how many customers did not wear masks, unlike you had promised on your website, that all the good things about your store could not overcome that fact. Shame on you and those ‘selfish’ customers.

I went in to get red meat. They had New York strip on sale 4 99 per pound they always have some type of meats on sale I also bought a chuck roast for $12 compared to $30 elsewhere half a dozen pork chops very thick cut for $9 sausage was 299 per poundplus its the first place I found Dawn dish detergent in 3 months very happy with the store it is worth a half hour drive 20 mile drive. Also diabetic socks 299 per pack

Best grocery store ever.

Great deals / Awesome prices. Clean and quick shopping experience unless its the weekend and then of course its very busy. Toddler shopping carts is always a plus! My little one gets to shop and add things to their cart keeping them busy and making the experience fun for them and less stressful for me!

Mandatory face masks are not being enforced. Carts outside should have a sign somewhere they have not been sanitized. Note on sliding door should state sanitized carts are inside. Employees masks are not being worn correctly (mask below nose).

You never know what goodies can be found at Ebenezer. Good produces and good prices.

Nice selection, lots of organic and kosher items. Some items that Ive never seen before, like Red Robin BBQ sauce. Prices were reasonable. The store layout is crazy!! Its like a maze... Not sure why the aisles do not line up or run the same way...

Very pleased with our experience here. Lots of good groceries. Nice place to go for gluten-free and other special dietary needs. We like the good selection of fruit and vegetables, much of it organic, for a great price.

A few things were outdated. It was ok but definitely not worth the drive.

Theres a lot of interesting foods you can find, here! The near-expiration isnt a problem with these products - theyll still last a long time. Take a cart when you go into the store - a hand basket wont be nearly enough to contain all the stuff youll want to buy!

Unique Grocery Shopping experience, in a good way!Fresh cuts of meat. Fresh veggies. Unique, rotating variety of international foods and condiments.When we shopped there last week, there were lots of items that folks on restricted diets would be looking for. We left there with a very full shopping cart, of good deals.We will definitely be returning to this place when we visit the area again!

Deeply discounted organic items. The store is very clean and organized. The meat and poultry products are the freshest around. The coloring on the meat is just as good as wegmans or any other competitor out there. You do get your moneys worth for shopping here. The staff is always very pleasant.

Eclectic and SO affordable! Dried mangoes for $1.49 a bag, Hersheys whipped cream...boxed goods, bagged goods and fresh, too. Not a full produce section but plentiful. Freezer section, fresh meats, frozen fruit @$1.49 per half pint. Just a joy to go inside and see whats good to bring home. Some things expire next year and some expired a month or two ago; but its your call! And your wallet still has farther to go.

Maybe not Everyone likes the description, but Ive always thought of it as a bump and dent, with an organic bent. Ive been shopping here for a number of years. They consistently have all the staples, and they often have quite a number of other nutritious and delicious items, as well. It is extremely refreshing to finally be able to get organic and natural products out here in the country for a very decent price.

Love this place for their sausages and selection of fresh cut meats. Price of selection of meats are best I seen including major warehouse retailers. Stop in their refrigerated veggie room for fresh vegetables.

During these unprecedented times, Ebenezers has been an oasis for finding great values and an eclectic selection for items you didnt realize you needed. The produce and meat department stand tall at what some may consider just a thrift grocery store.

I think this grocery store is the best. They have organic produce that is way below what you pay in the regular store. When you are on a very limited budget , this store is great well it is great either way. They a moving to a bigger location and I think it will bigger and better. I fine the staff very helpful. I love Ebenezers . I have sent and taken many people there to shop and everyone just loves the store and they always go back. Sure some stuff is out dated but it is still good. I think there should be many more places like this to shop all over. When I can buy 2 large bunches of Kale for $1 that is a baring in my book. I have a very small budget for food and I get a lot of quality food there for a whole lot less then I would pay any where else. , and I shop there all of the time. I suggest go as fast as you can and get the deals.

They dont really have a variety of foods and i went there one time and never went back. I got dried mango and they were out of date. Why would something out of date even be on the floor.

Since this place expanded, it’s one of the best in the area. The assortment of fresh vegetables in the refrigerated room is great. They also carry a significant amount of organic and gluten-free options. An overall great place to get healthy things for less.

Favorite grocery store! If you want to start eating organic on a budget this is the place for you. I dont know of any other places with such reasonable prices on organic food. Very friendly staff, fresh produce and a nice variety of cheeses and meats. I never feel guilty shopping here.

This grocery store is absolutely amazing. You can get so many organic snacks and Foods here for very cheaply. Honestly, since I have moved to Ephrata I pretty much go to this grocery store and Aldis exclusively. They have so many good deals here and they also sometimes have a very nice selection of vegetables which I enjoy. Highly recommend shopping here if you live in the area.

This place has excellent meats at great prices. The ground beef is only 2.99 a pound and chicken drumsticks are 0.59 cents a pound Their deli has a wide variety of meats and cheeses also at great prices. I get ham at 1.99 a pound and American cheese at 3.99 a pound. There are great deals on organic and gluton free foods. There are always great treasures to find. I recently started working there and all the employees are great!! I cut my grocery budget in half shopping here 😊

Their low prices make healthier eating so much more affordable! Many gluten free and organic items. The produce doesnt last for long, but the low price is worth it and we just buy in smaller quantities to use it up quickly. Best meat prices around. I especially enjoy two of the deli employees Ive gotten to know from my visits. They always have a smile and make fun small talk when theres not a line. Theyve also been extremely helpful in teaching me how to pick out the best cuts of meat, as I knew nothing about it before!

We went here for the first time today! We have a big family (10 kids at home) and most of us eat gluten free. I was so happy to find some really good, inexpensive gluten free groceries. A whole cart load for $67!!! I will definitely be shopping here more often! If you arent a fan of close dated/slightly outdated merchandise, keep on driving! But everything we tried tasted great so far ☺.
