I like buying my lunch meat here. They have everything to make your own sub or you can buy ready made ones. Also a good selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, & bulk foods. Treat your children to a cute coloring book for less than $3.00 or to give as a gift. Never know what I will find!

I go to Glenwood every week! Im excited for them that they are pushing dirt and can hardly wait to see the changes! Friendly workers- some need a reminder that its totally rude to talk Dutch in front of customers however! Also no talking to your friends at the register! I love Glenwood Foods!

Some items are way overpriced, especially knowing I can go a short distance in Lancaster County to a competitor and get the same item for much cheaper. Example: Bath & Body Works soap, $5-6 for old scents... I can get it for $7.5 and a new scent. Cereal $2.99, Giant/Weis/Walmart are $2.50. Know your prices before you go! Deli is nice, except it. Loses 45 minutes before the store and with an hour and 15 minutes before closing, no one to be found at the counter! 🤷‍♀️

Discount Food, you never know what youll find. Good for John Martin sausage, cheese, canned goods, some produce, yogurt. Cold cuts are inexpensive. Large selection of bulk goods, canning supplies. If you visit around the new year, they give out free calendars. Some item are beyond best-by dates, but in 20 years shopping there Ive had few duds.

My wife is a discount food store junkie and loves this place. This was her favorite attraction in the area! LOL. Name brands from grocery stores outside the area. Also includes other interesting stuff. Always something interesting and new.

This store is the bomb!! Bring freezer bags and coolers and stock the freezer. Fabulous deals on bulk frozen foods! Produce in season is competitive with the Amish road stands on the side of the road. Their deli turkey and chicken is $3.29lb sliced to your preference. Watch the hours since they can close early. They accept credit cards. This is a must stop for us when traveling home from Lancaster.

Weve done our grocery shopping here for years! They have a lot of great stuff. You never know what new foods/deals theyll have. Their produce is fresh and they have great prices on canned goods and various other things. In the last few years theyve added a selection of Eastern European foods (Russian/Ukrainian?) and also some gluten-free food and foods for specific diets.

Had to deliver, they were quick and friendly. From what I could see and was told they are a first come, first serve shipper/receiver. They have overnight parking, but it is very limited (only enough room for about 2 maybe 3 trucks at most).

I bought some packaged beef sticks because they were cheap. After eating them I was very very sick. I was never so sick in my entire life. Turns out I had gotten food poisoning because they were expired from one year prior! Thats right, 13 months past the expiration date! I will never shop here again!

Well known for having discount items, the store has lots of name brand goods. Always lots of cheeses, meats, dairy, and much more.

Good prices. Worthwhile. But caution...some items should be Given away, some must be consumed the same day. Still many fabulous deals, esp. fresh fruit.

This is a great shop to stop by for inexpensive groceries. If you walk to the back of the store, as well as the refrigerator room, you will find many discounted meats and cheeses and frozen foods. Some items are near or slightly past the expiration date, but they are still far less then a typical grocery store. We also really enjoy the deli. For $2.19, you can get a fresh sandwich piled high with lunch meat; we recommend the roast beef sandwich. The staff are very pleasant and courteous. Credit cards are accepted here.

Deli inconveniently closes 45+ minutes prior to store closing. Was there a few minutes before that, and was told I was too late to get meat cut.

This grocery store offers so many bargains! Their deli meats are always fresh. A great place to buy Gene Wengers ham loaf mix 8-pound bags. Great produce offerings, especially in season. And, heres the only place Ive found frozen cookie dough of all different kinds, and at reasonable cost. Better than cookie makimg at home!

Great place to go grocery shopping! Most prices are on the low side! Check out the far right corner (like if youre walking in the door), if you want coloring book stuff, cards, stickers, ect. Theres all kinds of random stuff in that corner!

Just discovered this store driving by on a trip to Amish Country. I love it! It had many items that you find elsewhere in the Amish Country, but at discounted prices. They have cheese, meats, frozen foods and packaged foods. Will stop by here whenever I am in town.

Great selection bulk foods, also deli meats and cheeses sliced to order.(only here in Pa. Dutch country do you get asked if you want your cold cuts sliced or chipped). Chipped meats are popular as they are very thinly sliced and can be piled into sandwiches! Also they have Gene Wengers ham loaf mix in 3-lb bags, as well as the 1 lb loaf pans. Delish! Decent prices, friendly staff. Good parking in front and at side of building.

This place is great. Yes, it is sells overstocks and outdated, and yes, except for baby foods and formula, it is legal. I shop here all the time and if you get something that turns out to be inedible, they will refund your money. On the whole, I save so much money here that I dont even bother getting the bit back when something is not edible.Workers are friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of fresh gluten free things, cheaper than most stores. It is interesting because you never know what bargains you will find. But you can count on them always having the basics.
