Always clean and can always find an employee thats happy to help. The prices are a hair steep but it makes sense for a specialty store.

Variety in clothing dept is bad. Very, very limited selection. Clothing is same as 5 yrs ago and less. Guess cause its Enid. But other items have good variety.

I recently purchased a womens bicycle from this Academy. Their selection was better than Wal-Mart and their prices were comparable, if not better. The store had very few shoppers, and plenty of employees available for assistance. Ive been in this particular store 3x, and I recommend coming here for sporting goods before trying Wal-Mart.

It was very good! I really like this place and its very useful for outdoorsy people like us. Its even useful for non-outdoorsy people just not as much. The only bad thing is that their prices are very high. But we get clothes, camping stuff, backpacking stuff, gymnastics stuff, workout stuff... Etc. There so its very nice.

Staff, for the most part, wore masks and were courteous. A couple of employees had their noses hanging out. Good dividers in the check out lines.

Always organized and well put together. The restrooms 🚻 are always clean. Over all great place to shop.

We went to academy and spend $400 or so and had to get stop for no reason because the Alarm went off and they thought we were trying to steal and we werent it turns out it was the knife we bought well we saw the employee scan it and everything I guess she didnt disalarm it that is why I am leaving a one star review I would leave zero stars but that is not an option I was so embarrassed.

Everyone, well almost everyone, was a delite and very welcoming when came to pick up my order. I had no trouble at all picking up my online order in store. Everything was in order and very organized! Thank you for the special that allowed us to get our son his very first power wheels ride along vehicle! He LOVES it to say the least!

I went in for a trampoline and I didnt realize just how heavy they were. Employees were very helpful and even helped me load it up in my pickup. Very respectful and considerate. The place was very clean and the restroom was very clean. I was impressed with everything.

I love the store! The only thing I dont like in the Tahlequah store is Kent!

I cant believe they have an academy and Enid Oklahoma but hey at least theyre moving forward pretty good place some of them please could be a little bit more nicer to people that are coming in I mean they have a job because were buying merchandise from them so they should be a little bit more friendlier and leave their problems at the door before they come to work other than that its a really good place to buy what you need

Ive been going to Academy since I was a teen living in Houston. Love this store. Always clean and organized. Prices and selection for shoes are the best in town. Great selection for anything outdoors too. So glad they built a store in the town I now live.

Went there to return two t-shirts, just a simple exchange. The lady at the return desk was rude and had no care if the customer was pleased. She looked up the shirts that I wanted to exchange, with no receipt, and said the shirts were 9 dollars. 2 weeks ago bought the shirts for 25 each. Did not care and said that I owed 19 each for the new shirts, when the price tag was for 9 dollars. I told her there was no way I will pay more for shirts that I already bought for 25 each and add an additional 19. She handed the shirts to me and walked away. I said thanks for the great customer service. I will not be going back to this store again.

We went there to buy a smoker and a grill. Just so happened the manager waited on us, he was a delightful person and helpful. He went got our merchandise loaded it and loaded it in our vehicle. This was on the 4th of July. Would recommend this location.

They say they have the best prices in town. I was looking for a 1 lb propane tank for a portable stove and the price was $12. Not too far away at Walmart they had each tank for $4 or two for $7.

Love Academy! Its great to have a sporting goods store that I can count on to meet my needs.

Lots of variety and selection in sporting goods in general. However, I was looking for a running shoe with a low heel - to - toe drop for forward strike running (not an unusual request, popular running style) and was told they didnt carry those. I do like their store brand merchandise. I prefer their running shorts to Under Armour or anything else Ive found. Theyre also a good value. Clearance racks are always worth checking out. I recently got a killer deal on a Camelbak that was maybe any unpopular color.

I havent been in an Academy store since I moved to Florida. I really miss it. This Academy store is bright clean and has helpful people. The product line is still very good. I like Academy.

Local store, Enid OK, did not have item in stock though their website said they did. So I made a trip from 30 miles away for nothing. Store associate said he could have item shipped from a stop less than a hundred miles away but it would take ten days to get it. Ten days, are you kidding me? Got item from Amazon in less than three days. Academy scores a big zero.

I have only been to Academy a few times, but I can tell you that every time I have been there, I have been amazed at the selection of items they have for the Sportsman. Everything from the clothes you wear, to the tools and or sporting equipment you use. It is all here, and it is all reasonably priced. So if you are looking to get out into the Great Outdoors, or if youre looking for a sport you can do in The Great Indoors, this is your place.

I didnt find what I was looking for but the employee was trying to be helpful. My husband did find what he aS looking for.

Love that this business finally came to town. Great variety and good sales when they have them. Staff isnt much help especially the firearms department and they can be pricey but they offer a lot that others in town have been lacking in for outdoor equipment.
