Kerry and the front desk staff were very accommodating on fitting me in, noting that an assessment of the issue could be done in three days. They called me a day earlier than expected with the diagnosis and provided all the information I needed to move forward. Great staff at this location!

I went there to get a tire leak fixed and they charged over $33. I’ve never had a tire fixed for more than $10-$12. They fixed it correctly but they tried to rip me off for 10mins of work. They decided to knock the price down to $19, after I gave them a piece of my mind, which is still way to high but I paid and left. I won’t be back!

I had used their website and (apparently newer) online booking system to schedule an appointment. While I found it a BIT kludgy to have to answer all the questions, I understood why (no one wants incomplete data). Upon submission, I did get an e-mail stating that someone would be in touch to confirm my desired time....I submitted the appointment request Wednesday for a Saturday morning oil change, but never heard anything...so I assumed that the scheduling had gone through....I showed up first thing Saturday morning, and the admin assistant couldnt find my appointment in the system. She explained the newness of the scheduling system and indicated that it was likely that the store staff hadnt actually received the notification of my request, so I was not on the schedule, and they were booked....BUT, happy ending to the story. Their technicians shifted a few things around and were able to perform my oil change without causing delays for other customers who were on the books for that morning.SO--what could have ended up being a huge waste of time for me ended up being a timely and positive experience.My recommendation to the staff (of course!) would be to figure out what fell through the cracks w/the appointment confirmation process.My recommendation to potential customers is that I felt like my concerns were addressed in a polite and professional manner, and my car now has fresh oil :-)

I went in to get a tire repaired but after inspecting the area it was discovered that the repair wouldnt solve a larger problem. Another shop could have just plugged the hole, taken my money and sent me on my way with the risk of disaster happening in the future but these guys took the time to explain to me the problem and then offered a great price on a new set of tires to help keep me and my family safe on the road. The work was done quickly and professionally with quality that I was very impressed with. I intend on using these guys for all my future car repair needs based on this excellent customer service and experience.

Totally amazing. Made an online appointment on Sunday evening and received a response by email less than 1 hour later. My only vehicle was shifting slowly and could see transmission fluid in snow. Front tire making funny sound. Also was overdue for oil change. Spoke with Kerry on Monday and he again confirmed my appointment for this day. I brought my vehicle in and left. Within 3 hours Kerry called with the problem. Tramsmission fluid very very low due to leaking hoses. Did not need to replace transmission. Yippee. Also front tight ball bearing shot. Replaced. Oil change done. Vehicle fixed same day but allowed me to keep there overnight so I could make dinner. Shop was very clean and staff followed Covid precautions. I used their free Wi-Fi while there. Able to redeem coupons without a problem. When picking up my vehicle young woman was polite and informative. Being fairly new to this area I am so pleased I was able to find a honest and helpful mechanic. Thank you ERTA. Definitely my new tire and auto shop. Kudos to all of your staff. Stars only go to 5 but this shop deserves a big 10.

Everyone here was very friendly and incredibly helpful when I had a bunch of questions about my car and some problems I was experiencing with it.They were able to figure it out, fix it up perfectly, and helped me out a lot. Definitely recommended there services!

I moved to the Elk River and needed some work completed on my 2008 Acura MDX. The airbag warning light was on. I contacted this shop to complete a diagnoses of the problem. They appear to have great reviews and close to my home.The service technician completed the diagnoses and informed me that the vehicle required a new SRS module, a dealer only part. The part would cost me $1400 dollars. Additionally, the shop mentioned that the airbags would not work with the airbag sensor on, so I parked the vehicle.I contacted Acura, with the part number provided by the shop, and found out that the part was actually $702 dollars and came fully programmed from the factory. This shop was increasing the price of a dealer part, by 100 percent, which is not an industry practice. I am not in the auto mechanic industry but I do know that 100% mark ups are not common practice for parts in this dollar amount.I spoke with Elk River Tire & Auto and was surprised to find out that they indeed were planning to charge me $1400 dollars for a dealer part that costs $702 dollars because they needed to program the SRS module, false, and we often times have to ship it to a third party to be programmed (false). I asked Elk River Tire & Auto to diagnose the airbag warning light and was told they could not get me in the shop until Monday, three days, which I understood.Finally, I asked Elk River Tire & Auto if they were going to charge a mark up on parts after they diagnosed and was told yes. I asked if I ordered the parts from Napa, Oreilys, Acura/Honda, or their approved vendor and brought the parts myself if they could install it. Elk River Tire & Auto said Yes, but I cant guarantee my work. I replied, So If buy the same part number from the same source as you, but dont pay a part mark up, you wont guarantee the work?. My question was confirmed with a yes.I decided to have Honda/Acura dealership replace the SRS module that Elk River Tire & Auto diagnosed as the problem, $1500 dollar mistake.The part was ordered and installed by Honda/Acura. Codes were cleared and vehicle test driven. The airbag sensor warning light came back on, it was not the SRS module that Elk River Tire & Auto reported. After a costly review the airbag code was being triggered by a faulty, $45 dollar, passenger airbag indicator switch.I was extremely disappointed in Elk River Tire & Auto abusive and predatory practice of marking up parts by 100% and requiring this mark up to honor their work. Additionally, their poor diagnoses cost my family roughly $1500 dollars after replacing the SRS module, cost of new diagnoses and the passenger airbag indicator switch.I will make sure to steer clear of this shop. For those of you who are returning customers, please make sure you review your parts prices and compare those prices to the industry standards.

After moving to Elk River Ive used this place for the last two years. Very happy with their quality, pricing and honesty! They deliver lots of value to the customer, I have had two experiences with them where they could have easily charged me more. I will be a return customer.

Bought a used truck with wheel locks and no key and needed them off. Had two other shops look at it. Beings the lugs are custom and so deeply set, one shop refused to do it, referred me to the other one and they said they could drill them out but that would take a full day and over $500. Took it hear and they had them off in less than 30 minutes (no drilling or torching) and had new custom lugs delivered as well in very short time. All this for less than $100. Will definitely be using them in the future.

This business doesnt really understand honesty and loyalty. I received a GIFT of a free oil change for my birthday, which is stated as a gift. So, they have a special for $39.99 oil Oil Change Packaged includes Wiper Blade Replacement, Rotate Tires, Basic Brake Inspection and Battery Check! I wanted to get the oil change package with Synthetic oil, but they told me I can not use my GIFT with the special. On my GIFT it says, If your vehicles oil change requirements exceed $34.95, you can apply $34.95 as credit towards a diesel or synthetic oil change service. That is not true. They would not allow me use my credit as it states on my GIFT. I think it is really bad to call something a gift and have stipulations on it that goes agaisnt what is written on the gift. Mixed messages. It is an $80 service without any coupon for Synthetic Oil. I would have still spent $40, and all I was asking for was the Wiper Blade Replacement, Rotate Tires, Basic Brake Inspection and Battery Check that was being offered to others getting an oil change.I was offered a free oil change if I left a review, which I did and never received a free oil change. I inquired about the free oil change and I did not hear back from them.And their App is not user friendly and it doesnt let you complete your profile, but tells you it is incomplete.It is very upsetting to me as a customer of theirs to not honor a gift as a gift.

Misdiagnosed my vehicle costing me am extra $570. Not overly friendly. They always have a million cars out front so if you want anything done besides tires you can expect to wait days to get in.

Have been using them for a few years. Honest, quality work. Fair competitive pricing. They handled our Odyssey timing belt replacement beautifully. I had them replace a starter in our civic, the starter failed less than two years later. They replaced it no questions asked, it fell under warranty work. Couldnt be happer.

Have shopped around for a good oil change and am tired of the high pressure tactics of some of the drive thru places. I found Elk River Tire and Auto to get me in on my appointment time and did a complete job as advertised in a timely manner. Will come back again.

Would give it more stars but brought my trick in for an oil change and they did not fill it all the way. Had to add close to a gallon. But when called to talk them the following day they did make it right. We even paid for extra oil at date of service.

Needed new tires and was shopping around online, found the best price for tires online (not at the shop) but the online place recommended ER Tire & Auto to get them installed.I also needed some brake work done, and check out a vibration issue I had. After meeting them Mark at the shop, going over what I needed done, I scheduled an appointment for two days later.Today I dropped my car off, got a ride home so I could work, two hours later and everything was done and ready to go. I got picked back up, and everything was as promised.The best part about the whole experience? The bill. The rates at ER Tire & Auto are by far the best I have seen in the area. I would highly recommend them, honest, straight forward and easy to work with.

I’ve had tires repaired here before and the staff was courteous and pro.Then I bought 4 new tires that they installed and was disappointed I had ask for the valve stem caps that were not installed on my new tires, and the tires had dirt marks and hand prints of some white lube or whatever on them. I thought they would have wiped the grime off my brand new tires so they looked great when I picked up the car.

I have been going here for many years. I trust them and know they are always honest and do great work. I have had Tom and Joe both work on my vehicle and along with excellent repair work, theyre customer service is top notch. I have since had them do service for my parents, kids and siblings. The last 3 times I went in, I was able to use a coupon right on my phone which was very convenient. Plus they price matched a set of tires for me and that saved me $200!

I will never go to this place again, a simple tire rotation is what I wanted and they come to tell me I should buy $1000 worth of tires and a front end alignment first. Isnt it my choice what I do first. I just wanted a rotation and when THOSE tires wear THEN Ill check into a front end alignment and tires. Smh

I recently had my first experience with the folks at Elk River Tire and Auto. They slid me in last minute to get my oil changed so I could have it done before I went out of town for the weekend. The service was fast and friendly. Their waiting area was surprisingly clean and comfy (soft leather chairs to sit in) and even had a kids area (I have 4 to manage). Overall, I was really pleased with my experience and will definitely be back.

These guys really are the best! I have always appreciated their service, but a couple of weeks ago I was in tough situation because the battery in my truck was starting to go bad, so I went to the auto store and got a new one. When I went to pop the hood, it wouldnt pop. This had never happened, even earlier that day. I was in a time crunch so I made a quick decision to drive over to Elk River Auto hoping they could give me a tip or squeeze me in. Even though they were very busy, they squeezed me in and shortened the cable and even installed the battery for me super quickly. Great place!

I brought in my Corolla at the last second to get some new tires put on that I purchased online (way cheaper and free shipping) They got me in right away. It took about an hour for install, balance and reinstall. Overall Im pretty happy with the service and work they did.

Ive worked with Crystal several times - and also with Sydney today - and service was top notch. Sat with them for a while and discussed some upcoming vehicle maintenance. Crystal was very knowledgeable and recommended that I only needed two new tires instead of the four I was expecting to need. Very positive and friendly personalities, welcome environment, and they even offered us doughnuts! Ill be a lifelong customer.

I brought my camper in to get it ready for the camping season and was impressed with the level of service and professionalism displayed by the entire staff. They not only helped me with new tires at an affordable price but also took care of many small issues like missing tail light covers which are not easy to find on an older model Coleman camper that is no longer in production. My experience was not good. I had my oil changed and tires rotated and requested my brakes get checked while the wheels were off.When I got the car back I was told I needed a new battery and new pads/rotors on the front end - and that this could all be mine for $750-800 (for my 2006 Scion xB). I said I’d wait, thanked them and was on my way.I tested my battery a couple days later and found it was in good shape. It’s a good thing I didn’t pay them $300 to replace what didn’t need replacing.I then went to pull my wheels to do the brake job and one of the studs sheared off. Two others were suspiciously difficult to break loose, leaving only one that spun off as it should. To their credit, ER Tire and Auto got me in that same day to replace the sheared stud.When I went to do the brake job after getting the car back I found TWO OTHER studs cross-threaded! Two other studs from the same wheel sheared when I tried to pull the wheel off.Rather than calling ER Tire and Auto again to make it right, I opted to find a shop that I could trust not to haphazardly slap parts on my car and not diagnose problems that didnt exist.I dont know whether they tried to cheat me or they just have inexperienced kids working in the shop. Either way, after my experience I just cant trust this place.Edit (to respond to ER Tire and Auto’s reply to my original comments):I dug out the estimate I was given and it appears I was wrong about the quote I was given for the work. It was only $712.72, not $750-$800. My mistake. The $600 figure the owner cited is not accurate.Like I said, I just can’t trust this shop after the experience that I’ve had and would advise others to beware. I have no axe to grind, only a poor experience to share with would-be customers.————————————————————Update 02/26/2019:Were on the other side of the coldest months of the year and my battery is going strong, starting like a champ every day.

Brought my sons car in on a Thursday afternoon because the air conditioning was not working. The gal I spoke with at the front desk was helpful and pleasant, and we got the diagnostic scheduled for the next day. We dropped the car off early Friday afternoon, and there was a different helpful and pleasant woman at the desk. About an hour and a half later we received a call with what the issue was (bad compressor), options for repair (used vs new replacement), a cost estimate for each option, and a time frame for the repair (the next day).They not only fixed it correctly, they had it done later the SAME day, and came in UNDER the estimate.I typically try to do my own maintenance and repair work on my cars. I have enough knowledge (and a well-developed BS sensor) to know when a place is trying to talk me into unnecessary repairs. When it comes to independent repair shops, for me cost is secondary to finding a place I can trust. This was my second stellar experience at ERTA, and I definitely feel like I can trust them. I will be using them for all auto service and repairs that I cant perform on my own.Mike and his crew are great!

Cant repair tires that are older then 5 years because of liability what a joke. My tires only have 30k miles on them... They have lost a committed customer forever... Hows that for liability.

I have been taking our cars there for the last four years. Their service is consistently good and they dont recommend doing something unless you actually need it. Also - they are active in helping community organizations and I appreciate that.

I will no longer be taking my business to Elk River Tire & Auto. I had an appt scheduled for Wednesday. I show up at my scheduled appt time. After 15 min of waiting the receptionist informs me that it will be at least 2+ hours for my vehicle to be looked it. She then states that my vehicle is only being looked at for a diagnostic and that I will need to reschedule another date and time for me to leave my car for at least a full day. Terrible customer service. I could have been told the previous day that my appt was only going to be a diagnostic appt. They also could have informed me prior to my appt that they were running over 2 hours behind in appt times.

Kerry and everyone at Elk River Tire and Auto make us feel like family every time were there. They make sure our cars are running well and never sell us what we dont need. Simply put, they take care of their customers.

I have had my SUV worked on a few times here and had great service. Once I even came late and they were still able to squeeze me in (thankfully!) My husband has had snow tires on his car and also had amazing service. Mine need tires soon and I know where I will be going.
