Ronnie is super rude and needs to learn customer service skills as well as his staff. As a “manager” he needs to be more professional and do his job, he refused to do any service that my truck required so had to take it to another pep boys to have it done sure enough it was what I kept telling him but he just refused to look at my truck or listen. Never go here they WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOYR MONEY!!

Twice this month Ive gone in for service on weekday mornings. Once for a tire patch and once for state inspection. Both times I was told the guy that does it left early. I only tried both times because Pep Boys is close to my house, but now Id rather drive to somewhere farher but better staffed.

Went in to get my brakes checked. was told that one of my brakes and rotor needed to be replaced but the rest looked really good. i agreed to have the service done. a day later my brakes were making some noise. i call them back and they said after driving for a bit they would break in. two months later the noise was horrible and i had to take my vehicle in. they told be the rotor and brakes needed to be replaced due to some hardware falling off the break pads and messing up the rotor. i informed them that that rotor and brake pads were replaced there not too long ago. i was placed on hold so the service person could look into it. after a few minutes they informed me that they would replace it at no cost to me but i did needed to replace all my other brakes and rotors because they were really bad. how could all my brakes and rotors go bad in just two months if they had already inspected them and said they were pretty good still. seems kinda shady. but i still had the work done since i didnt want to take a chance with brake safety.

Robert Lozoya, Charles, Luis and Carlos all went above and beyond to save this weary traveler time and peace of mind earlier this month! They fixed my vintage Volvo and helped me get back on my cross country drive from New Orleans to Los Angeles! The service was excellent, efficient as professional and these guys helped me find a good meal locally and found me a Lyft back to my hotel while my car was being repaired!

After having my car evaluation for services it required and before I agreed to have the services done, a customer that had her car in before mine came in to the store and stated that her tire pressure was low and her tires had not been rotated. She had just left the pepboys about 5 minutes prior to me getting there and drove back to see why this had not been done. The guy at the counter said drive it a few miles it should reset. She stated that she has had her tires serviced before and it has never taken a few miles to reset. The guy did admit that the mechanic had not done what was in the invoice. He did this in front of me and I immediately knew I had to get my car out of there asap. I cant trust them if they are not doing what is asked from them and/ornot informing their customers of why things werent done like they had requested.

DO NOT FIX YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Save your self hundreds of dollars trust me. Apart from them over charging, these guys are professional con artist. Once you go there to fix one little simple thing they start to tell you that there is more to the problem and that in order for them to fix it you need to pay more money. Since your car is literally taken apart theres no option for you to say no and worst part is that the manager is in on all of it. They do this on purpose so you get stuck with paying them more money. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES SAVE YOURSELF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

Stay away from this place. They spend more time on their phone than on your vehicle. PepBoys was a brand i would usually go towards in other areas but this one is not one to be trusted. Just like anywhere else its all about reputation and what the people produce. I got my issue corrected at the dealership for less than what they charged me and i have been a heavy equipment mechanic and mechanic for the military for 20 years so i have a very good idea of what i am talking about.Avoid for your own safety of your vehicle

I give this place a 3 star for the following reasons; convince, somewhat good price and quick service. However, it falters when it comes to customer service HEAVILY. They try to be nice when you first show up, offer their deals and even will help fill out information you may not have, but soon after they just become drones that bluntly tell you “No.” “It’s not done.” “Lobby’s closed.” “Wait a minute.” No emotion or a bit snippy.Show a little human emotion and treat your customers with respect and you might be respected in return. Some customers are rude, but don’t pawn that off to your other more meaningful ones that doesn’t deserve it. :/

Went in and ask for a radiator flush and diagnosis, I suspected I had a bad sensor. Go back to pick up and asked what the diagnosis found. The mechanic DON proceeded to argue with me about what I asked for. I was told I can come back another day to get the diagnosis. Really dissatisfied with their work and attitude. Save you self a headache and multiple trips. Go somewhere else fist.

Ive been in here a couple times to get the oil changed on my car. Well I recently had an issue with my car and I popped the hood only to find out that my engine coolant is almost empty, way below the low marker line. The cap was on fine, and there were no leaks. Last time I went in they were suppose to top up my windshield wiper fluid and they didnt, so Im not sure why I wouldve expected them to check the levels on everything else. Getting stuck on the side of the road with your car overheated would definitely put a dent in anyones day. Dont go here, and if you do make sure you check behind their work before you leave.

Ronnie was amazing. Very professional and took care of me without appointment. I had to buy tires I had gone online and it was giving me appointments until next week Tuesday. I’m going on vacation Monday and Ronnie saved my vacation. They mounted two tires, rotated my tires, did four wheel alignment in less than 90 minutes. He also helped me by price matching Pep Boys online prices. I’m very grateful and thankful. Robert at the front was very professional as well, answered all my questions. God bless you guys. TBH I come in nervous knowing that they know more than me about cars and that Im gonna get the run around. Came in some serious brakes problems, and they recommended struts, when was totally right. I felt like they did a good job keeping the place clean and as safe as someone could be. I worked a lot with Dan and Freddy and they explained everything and even caught when one of the parts they ordered was defective, gave me options, and took care of it for free (to me). Only thing holding back 5 stars is that its not super cheap, but at least its convenient and fast.

The service manager greeted me. Wow, great! He spoke to me about a possible problem. Then proceeded to test my battery and show me the results. Then I left my car to be examined by one of their mechanics. Everyone I spoke with was courteous. I had an unbelievable and great experience. Best customer service ever. Thank you Pep Boys!

I have always experienced such good service here over the past few years we have brought our two cars to this location. They are friendly and helpful, and when I broke my key I got helped finding the right battery and putting it back together while I waited for my oil change, no charge. They always take note if I have my kids with me and get it done as quickly as possible. Super kind, honest employees.

My review is for the retail part. I was there a few days back to see if they had a part me and my dad were looking for. My dad went ahead of me and asked the young man at the counter if he speaks Spanish and said yes, although I could tell he was having trouble speaking it, he understood my dad perfectly was able to find the part we were looking for. I respect the young man for trying his best and getting out of his comfort zone to help out a customer. Really means a lot, most border businesses forget that a good part of their business comes from across the border.

Sorry service. I took my car to get my gasket covers replaced and as soon as I left my car started overheating. The line to my coolant was disconnected and I had no coolant when leaving the pep boys. I took it back and Ronnie was so sure they didn’t anything to it. I had not even opened my hood after leaving and there’s no way the line can just be pulled off. First off, pep boys policy is to always make sure fluid levels are filled but I wasn’t notified that my coolant tank was completely empty nor that my line was disconnected. Ronnie knowing this policy couldn’t even waive the tow fee. Never returning to pep boys, lesson learned. Find a trusted mechanic y’all.

I’ve lived in El Paso for 3 years and have always taken my car to Pep Boys on north Mesa. I first came here because it was close to my apartment. Based on prior experiences I had learned to distrust auto mechanics. But my experience at this Pep Boys location has always been excellent. They have always been very helpful, honest and the price has always seemed reasonable. I’ve actually never had an auto mechanic that I’ve been happier with. I recommend their services without any reservations.

Definitely dont recommend this place for service. I went in for a tune up. I decided to double check the service had been done and noticed they didnt change my filters but charged me for them.I went in to ask and was treated horrible by the manager Ronnie.He was very rude, incompentent,and sassy. I honestly dont understand how you have a manager who treats the clients worse than the employees do. He definitely isnt management material.

Dan tried to scam me. $500 + dollars to replace a starter. Basically he wanted to charge me $300- over priced starter and labor $200. I had to re-tow my vehicle out of there to another mechanic. Other mechanic shop charged me $75 labor and 170 for the part.

If I could leave a zero I would. My car wouldn’t start in the Walmart parking lot close to the car wash which is directly across from the Pepboys front door. I walked over and asked if they could help me that I needed a new battery. The kid went to ask and then walked over to me and said no due to everything going on. What the hell..my car was outside and he didn’t even need to get inside. Seriously...using Covid as an excuse not to help me. I will never go to this place again and definitely will let everyone I know of my experience.

Went by Pep Boys on Sunday. I am disappointed to find out that Jose Herrera one of their mechanics is no longer there. Ive been taking my vehicle to Jose at Pep Boys on Mesa for the past three years. What can I tell you about Jose? Jose took the time necessary to build a good customer relationship with me. He was approachable, always went out of his way to assist and explain things to me, beyond expectations. Jose was honest, patient, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and thorough. I can’t say enough about the level if service I received from the men working here. I pulled in with a leaking tire about two hours from closing time and really needed to get back on the road. Dan saw to my needs as soon as possible and Fernando was extremely competent, professional and personable, not to mention extremely detailed in getting my problem fixed. As a 60 yr old woman, I’ve never left a car service review before, but i felt everyone needed to know how far beyond their jobs these two men went to help me. I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else. Kudos to you , Fernando and Dan. You are my heroes!!

Where do I begin...I am not satisfied at all. I tell my friends and family, why do i keep torturing myself by going to Pep Boys?? I do it out of convenience due to its proximity to my work and home. My vehicle has been at Pep Boys for 8 hours now and is still not ready. I took it this time for an alignment and to get my tires rotated (which Dan told me that he would personally see to it that it got done). They did the alignment 3 months ago and it was not done correctly, hence why I have returned. Vehicle is still pulling to the left side. I did get a call from Chris of Pep Boys at 730 PM saying the car was ready. I asked him if they remembered to rotate the tires because a few months ago they forgot to rotate them at my request while the alignment was being done. Of course Chris doesnt know if they have been rotated or not and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes before I hung up. I tried calling back at 745, however, their automated answering system is already set to their closing message and so I am unable to get through to the service department. I am not one to complain, however, I have had other issues in the past with this Pep Boys location. Time for me to take my business elsewhere. By the way, is it possible to give a zero star rating? I guess, Ill get my car back sometime tomorrow. 😕

I am very pleased with Dan who assisted me through my whole visit. He allowed me to use two coupons in combination. He suggested some work that my 1993 Honda Civic could use. Due to my budget, I could only follow up on some of the recommendations. The work on the Honda was done in a timely manner and I was pleased with a wait of less than an hour for an oil change, a radiator flush and installation of new wiper blades. I left Pep Boys feeling very satisfied and I highly recommend them.

The battery died on a relatives Ford Fusion. We were greeted by Dan and the prep paperwork was done in less than ten minutes. He recommended we leave the car since we had a second vehicle. He called two hours later when the car was ready. He is called Dan The Battery Man and now we know why. Skilled, courteous, and honest with his recommendations and explanations. Need a battery installed? Look no further.

Slooooooooow service. Brought in at 1:30 pm in a saturday, was told it would be 45 min to an hour, and Im still here at 3:45 pm. All that was needed was a new battery, but they dont seem to have any sort of order or triage when it comes to degree of difficulty/speed of service needed.

Dropped my truck off a few weeks ago on a Saturday at 12:00pm for an oil change and received a call several hours later about 2:00pm stating that I needed a new air filter, window wipers and fan belt. I approved the work over the phone and was told the vehicle would be ready around 3:30pm. Around 3:00 I was dropped off at this location and was going to wait the remainder of the time. I noticed that my truck was still parked in the very same location that I had dropped it off and the vehicles hood was had not been opened to inspect the air filter, fan belt and wipers. I immediate went inside to the service department to ask for my keys back and cancelled the work order since I had been lied to by one of their associates. When I arrived home, I called and asked to speak with the General Manager. I was transferred to the GM and explained what had happened and asked how it was possible to know that I needed those new parts if they had not even opened the hood or put the key in the ignition. I was told the service department was not the GMs responsibility and that I would need to talk to the service departments manager. I was transferred to the service department and conveniently he was not there and would return on Tuesday. I left a message with the service center to have him call me back upon his return, but as expected, never received any return phone call. I highly recommend you get your service elsewhere unless you want to be lied to so that they can profit more money. I will no longer get any type of service or buy any products from this Pep Boys location (7465 N. Mesa St).(After going to another place for my oil change, I was told that my air filter and fan belt were in good condition and did not need to be replaced. The wipers however were recommended to be replaced)

I went to this Pep Boys about a year ago and had a pretty good experience, although I had to wait for a while to get the service done. However, when I returned a few days ago, it did not go well. I spent around 5 hours in total waiting for a tire change and the Texas registration inspection. For a long time the car just sat there in the garage, half way done with no one working on it—until I went and asked about it. Once I did they finished it in 20 minutes. They said the car did not pass and would need a diagnostic that I would have to pay $90 for. However, they said that they were too busy to do the diagnostic that day and it would probably also take the entire next day as well. The next morning I took the car to another place that had me completely taken care of in less than an hour. I won’t be returning to this Pep Boys.

I took a car to be inspected, and it failed inspection. I was told that there were two reasons that it failed, the catalyst system was below efficiency and there was a small leak in the evaporative emission control system. I was also told that the test to find the leak could take up to two hours to conduct, and that diagnosing whether the catalyst problem was just a sensor or the actual catalytic converter could take another hour. I decided to bring to car back a couple of days later so they could run the test for the leak and figure out the catalyst problem. I arrived about 9:30 a.m. and talked to the same person in the service department. I told him what I wanted, and he said that his mechanic wouldnt be in until 11 a.m. He assured me again that they could diagnose the problems in a couple of hours, and that he would call me by 2 p.m. to discuss what needed to be done. 2 p.m came and went with no call, and then 3 p.m., and finally, a few minutes before 4 p.m., I called them. I was put on hold for 20 minutes, and when I finally talked to the person in the service department that I had been dealing with, he said that he would put me on hold and get the results from the mechanic. He came back and told me that the mechanic said that, for starters, the car needed a tune up. This set off alarms in my head because the car had just been tuned up. I told him that--and he didnt know what to say. Then I reminded him that I had brought in the car to them to get the other two problems dealt with, and he said that the test was not yet finished. I asked him why he had told me twice that it would just take a couple of hours, and now, 5 hours after his mechanic arrived at 11, it was still not done. He got argumentative with me and said that a dealership repair can sometimes take weeks. No apology, no explanation. At that point I asked to simply pick up my car. He was gone when I picked it up, and the person who was there at that time was apologetic, but because of what happened earlier I will never go back. The thing about suggesting an (unneeded) tuneup was what really upset me. And if they had just been honest and said from the beginning that the diagnostic test would take all day, I would have been more understanding about that. The whole thing felt shady, and was a huge waste of time. My advice to potential customers is: go somewhere else.

Ive been bringing my cars here for while, so far my experience has been good. My experience with the services advisors have been great they always seem helpful. Every time they fix my cars it comes out good never have to take it back right back for the same issue. It is a lot cheaper than taking it to the dealership. My only tip that I could offer is to leave your vehicle there and have them call you when they run into a issue.The bad things:1.The app for Pep Boys is bad the scheduling up that normally doesnt work out this place. Hopefully someday they get the App working right.2. The waiting room is not the most comfortable itll be nice if they had more sofas or soft padded chairs.3. TV only gets local channels.

Called and spoke to Dan about getting a transmission fluid change for maintenance. Was quoted $175.99 over the phone, had called THREE other pep boys before this in El Paso, TX, received same price but they were booked for the day. Dan said he had availability same day, I drove the extra 30 minutes to his location. He changes the price to $359.99! Why, you may ask? His response was I know Im expensive. Didnt know pep boys allowed their mechanics to DOUBLE the cost of labor at their own discretion. If I hadnt already called around I might have fell for this RIP off. Be careful, people, do your research! Going to the dealer, its $199.99 but worth having decent people work on your car and not try to swindle you.

Have bought two batteries from the service department. The first one lasted a little over a year, and they replaced it when it failed. The second one lasted barely 6 months. AAA tested the battery and found it to be bad. Took it back to Pep Boys and they said it was good and wanted to charge me over $100 to replace the battery cables. The battery visibly looked worn out, but they refused to honor the warranty, insisting that it was good. I took it to another shop, and they confirmed what AAA said...that the battery needed replacing. I have two separate reports now that the battery was bad. To be fair, they gave me a copy of their diagnostic report which showed what they claimed. However, the battery looked awful and, once again I have TWO diagnostic reports that disagree with theirs. One would think that good customer service would warrant honoring the warranty. At any rate, I plan to allow the inflexible Service Manager there to explain the supposed infallibility of their diagnostic report to a judge in small claims court. If he can, good for him. If not, Ill be seeking some reimbursements.

I have taken my cars/trucks here a couple of times. I fully expect most car maintenance places to be a little behind. I like to give them some wiggle room. Despite always making an appointment for service this place does not honor any appointments made with them. They will take walk-ins before bringing your car back. I guarantee that they will tell you they are running 3 hours behind, every time I sit and wait for my vehicle, that’s what they tell every customer. I dropped my car off at 11, they said it would be ready by 12:30. At 1:30 I went up to the counter to ask if my car was ready because it was still sitting in the parking lot. They haven’t even brought it back yet. Not to mention there will always be miscommunication with what you want done on your car. Depending on who is at the desk, there can be a bit of a language barrier. I will say, they aren’t dishonest, they do good work, the prices are generally not bad. Their main issue is time management and miscommunications. I recommend dropping your car off, expecting it to be here for the full day and picking it up when they close. Also, expect a miscommunication.Like I said though, they are honest here.

This location is absolutely terrible. This is the second time I have had an issue with Robert. If obviously hates his job and he takes it out on every customer that comes through the door. Left my car only to be called 30 minutes later to be told they dont service BMWS because they are German made cars yet the other pepboys do. I honestly believe he just didnt want to do it. Horrible service. I wouldnt even give 1 star if I didnt have too.

Came on a Wednesday looking for an inspection and it was late in the day. No inspectors so was told to come back tomorrow. Came Thursday and they were backed up, but the gentlemen (dan) assisting me at the front desk in the service department went the extra mile and asked if I could be moved ahead of the line. I much appreciate that kind of service.Also thank you to the state inspection guy going the extra mile as well.I dont have his name but come on pep boys they deserve some kudos from someone besides me.Update 7/20/19: I went in for some car maintenance stuff that I can do on my own filters basically. When I asked if I could make an appointment for the next day. Tire rotate, balance, wheel alignment. I asked about 11am, which I got a response as that even if i make an appointment it would not mean i would get serviced at that time. I felt like I was in that one Seinfeld episode about reservations. I was told to just come in at 9am and it will get serviced when it gets serviced.Needless to say, I took my business else where that actually honored their appointment times.Thank god I can do my own maintenance except tire balances and wheel alignments as those require expensive machinery.

Extremely Rude service! The front desk on cell phones in their own world, didnt help, or ask if I needed assistance. I finally found my items, I go to the front counter to be treated as if Im bothering them. I walked out took and realize that I could purchase these items elsewhere. Got a refund .... I have not had one pleasant experience with this location in the two years Ive lived in El Paso. For some reason, my wife kept taking out vehicles to them for repair. They wouldnt get the job done. Shed take it back to them again and again and again, expecting they would miraculously change and give us quality work.They dont meet deadlines or commitments. Expect your vehicle to always, always roll over for a day-three at the least. Expect excuses and stories when you complain.Theres a gentleman in the office thats fantastic. He knows how bad their service department is and he is always sympathetic. I walked in after a few months of not being there and he remembered my name! Thats top notch service. Recently had a set of tires installed on my Acura. Although they made some small scratches on the wheels and it took them about four hours to get the job done, Manny tried very hard to get me taken care of. I suggest they modernize their computer system and take a deep look at their process. The store feel very dated!

Sunday morning walk-in wait time: 2 hours. Make an appointment for the next day. Appointment wait time: 1.5 hours. I was told it was because there were other appointments ahead of me, like a doctors office. What? It was 8 AM, how backed up could you have gotten in the half hour youve been open? Or did you just make an appointment to get my information and not actually block off any time for me? I think the latter.

Really nice customer service, but a bad experience. I went in for a state inspection (even made an appointment), but the person who took my keys and paperwork didnt tell any of the mechanics. I check back 2 hours later and nothing has been done with my car. They did offer to take the car right away, but that meant waiting even longer. Definitely not coming back for that service again. The staff was really friendly though, but the mistake cost me a lot of time.

So, my car dealership told me to come here to have my battery replaced and after the replacement battery was installed, the mechanic Josh had told me that the caliper on my right front wheel was missing a bolt and offered to fix it for just the cost of the bolt. I couldnt do it at that time but two weeks later I had an appointment set up to have said bolt replaced. I cam in early on a Saturday morning, probably 7:45am or so to drop off my car and I was told that somehow the part wasnt available and that I would need to come back. I will admit to being upset about this because I had an appointment and that threw everything off for the day. I had gotten a call from the customer service department to see how things had gone and I told them about what had happened. they said they would have the district manager contact me. later that after noon the store manager, Robert, called me. I was assured the part had in fact been there and there must have been a mix up but offered to put the bolt that I had bought at Autozone for no labor cost. I took in my car that evening, and even though they were packed (the bays were all full and the parking lot was packed) they had my car in and out in about 20 minutes and the mechanic Josh even took a look at my brakes for me. I couldnt be more satisfied with them for fixing the issue that had occurred. I will be taking my care back there for my oil change. exceptional service

Called ahead before showing up to get my a/c system evacuated and refilled because it was purged for maintenance a few months ago. Was quoted around 180 for the job. After waiting for an hour one of the techs comes up and says that it will cost 280. After explaining what I was quoted by the person on the phone, they got the price back down. 2hrs later the tech comes up and says that they cannot do the job because they have to test my a/c system before charging it, and btw I have to pay for the testing. Not f******* happening. Will never come back

STAY THE BLAZES AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Went in for a simple vehicle inspection and inspector completely incompetent and ignorant of vehicle requirements. Bring your own regs. Book because inspector will come up with things to fail the vehicle unless you know your requirements because he surely does NOT. After referring him to actual regs and not ones he made up in his head I got a pass. If you got a lot of time on your hands and a desire to research vehicle inspection regs. Then come on down!!! Service manager defiant the whole time. What a scam!

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. This Pep Boys store charged me for 90 minutes of labor ($169.50) to change out a headlight bulb ($19.99). They completed the work and returned my car to me 38 minutes after I arrived at the store, but would not reduce their price accordingly. Their Service Manager didnt care, and said that 90 minutes is how long they estimated it would take, so thats what I had to pay (he also refused to credit me for the unused labor I paid for). Ill be taking this slime company to Small Claims Court in El Paso.

I was passing through El Paso Thanksgiving Weekend on a long road trip from my home in Florida on my way to California. I stopped at the Pep Boys to get an Oil Change and a Fluids check; however, the previous day I had bottomed out my car as my right front wheel went into a deep pot hole, my wheel began squeaking for the remainder of the day, so I also asked for a Suspension Evaluation to ensure there was serious damage. Im glad I did, they identified several other important issues that they took care and several others they recommended for future reference that they could not deal with. My experience was excellent, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional; I would like to give a particular shout out to my mechanic, Jose Herrera Baltazar, who actually took the time to take me out into the garage and point out and explain to me the issues with the car and what actions he could take to fix my car. I would highly recommend this place based on my experience.

Dropped my wifes car off to get an oil change and a Texas safety inspection and left the car with them overnight. The next morning I came in and asked if the car was ready. The guy at the counter said it was handed us the keys and charged us. When we were about to leave I noticed we did not have the inspection paperwork. I asked for the paperwork and was told it was in the car. I checked in the car and there was no paperwork. I got a hunch and checked the oil. The oil was dark and low. They did not do the inspection or the oil change, and charged me for it. I got a refund, but IF you use this place CHECK YOUR OIL AFTER. Im certain from their behavior Im not the first they pulled this FRAUD on.

I used to love this place, the manager really used to take care of his customers. I had a new radiator put in, ac recharged, emission testing, synthetic oil changes, you name it. Somewhere down the line their work started getting sloppy.I think they take waay more work than they can handle.I had to leave my car Friday night- Sunday afternoon apadently to see when they could get toit It took them over a day to try to change my tie rod end only to tell me they ordered the wrong part. They found this out AFTER they took my car apart -_-. Sorry to say they have lost my business for good.

If you want your car serviced by incompetent 15 year olds , then this is the perfect place for you. When they say trust the boys , they really mean boys.A man named Dan who wants to believe that hes a good manager , is rude as hell and passive aggressive.  Literally this man was storming around and had a bad attitude.During a routine oil change , they managed to melt my Honda brake light and claimed that theyve never seen an occurrence like it. They did honor to replace it ( as I would expect nothing less ).When I came back to have my light replaced , once again I had the pleasure of talking with lovely Dan. I waited and allowed the brake light to be replaced.   I then complained because the brake light was replaced , but the adhesive foam on the brake light was still on and it was not put on seamlessly.  I had to wait another 15 minutes while he fixed the kindergarteners work who didnt take the foam off. All the while Dan was rude complaining about 80 degree weather.I will NEVER bring my car here again. You might as well pay a little more and get some real service.i was upset enough that I was inconvenienced and had to bring my car back , but the cherry on the top was Dans attitude. He should stay in the back where he doesnt have to deal with customers because he is unable to act professional and will probably throw a tantrum like a 2 year old like he did with me.

Very poor customer service and service. And this is why, Woke up early to drop of by 9am, get a call bout non telling me my tryck wont start. 20 minute drive to get there and be told its was not my ubit having the problem ans my car was just taken in and its another hour before its ready. So they ruin my day with my family. 1.5 hrs later i go get my car, i had asked for oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. Since i had a discussion with the rep who called me on the wrong vehicle when i get there. He just charges me, no inspection done, no paperwork on the aligment and the oil life was not reset on my truck. This hasnt been the first time but this one topped it off!! Why guys? Why the bad service?

I dont recommend Pep-Boys. Most of the mechanics are inexperienced, and dont take much pride in their work or care for your vehicle.I normally wouldnt go here, but I needed some tire work done (TPMS sensors) and an alignment, and my regular mechanic could not do either.I stopped in one afternoon to see if they could do the work, and get some pricing. They were booked, so I brought the car back the next morning, but was given a higher price, and was told that the guy working the day before quoted me incorrectly. I was already there and I needed it done so I had them proceed.When I got my car back, my brand new (installed the day before), lite grey, WeatherTech driver side floor mat was now black with grease and grime, from the mechanics shoes. When I got home, I had to remove the mat and use a degreaser to clean it.A few days later, I had to remove a tire, only to find one of the lug-nuts very difficult to remove. It had been cross-threaded when they re-installed my tires, so the wheel stud, and nut are now ruined. The stud threads were completely shredded, and the nut could not be reinstalled so both will have to be replaced. These, parts are not very expensive (less than $5), but its a couple of hours of labor to replace a wheel stud on my vehicle.I know this damage was caused by Pep-Boys because, they were the last to remove the tires, and I had just replaced my shocks and struts (myself) the day before I took it to them (which is why I needed an alignment). So I had removed an reinstalled the tires myself (using hand tools) when I did the suspension, and everything was fine.Auto repair doesnt get more basic than changing a tire, so if they couldnt get that right, I certainly wont trust them with any of my vehicles again.Ill also add that the service took a long time (3-1/2 hours), and as I waited, I could see the techs talking, joking/laughing, and eating in the service bays as they worked.
