Love this Home Depot. All of the employees are so knowledgeable and helpful. Any question I have they ALWAYS make sure I leave with the proper answer. Especially the guys in the garden center! Love it here:)

Customer service had gone downhill sadly. Update things have greatly improved as of 08.21. This is now again my favorite HD!Kitchen remodels were delayed seriously delayed by months! Showing items as picked up that have not been and vice versa. Hampton Bay cabinets are No Longer a reliable cabinet for fast kitchen remodels if you need any non stock items.Double, triple check to make sure the items you ordered online are the items you are receiving and that your receipt reflects the correct item(s)- its pandemonium at the online pickup department they had checked me out for items not received!Thankfully Nestor the store manager has agreed to reorder a number of cabinets that went MIA. **Update 08.21** Nestor handles his business! Got my replacement cabinets in record time!!! Thank you🙏HD is experiencing difficulties along with its distributors as Covid has wreaked serious havoc on supply chains and prices, this is not a fun time for contractors or do it yourself folks.**Remember folks to cover your nose with your mask or you are NOT wearing a mask!** Be thoughtful of others well being not just your comfort.

This Home Depot in El Ceritto is not, I repeat, is not customer friendlyIf you know exactly what you need and where to find it, you will be ok. If not, good luck. You will find customer service at Ace Hardware just down the street

The store looks great obviously theyve been trying to straighten up and fix inventory. I needed a part for a vacuum cleaner which their web site said there were 4 on aisle 37 bin 2. There were 4 belts but not the one I searched for. Bissell or Hoover not the same, wasted a trip.

I personally prefer ACE HARDWARE for the service and LOWES for the organized & clean stores.HD is better located but I wish rhis location would be a little but more organized and have better service.In my experience very few employers at this location love what they do, the other will look away or hide at the minimal indication you may ask for some help.This location could be great but it isnt.

Decent place with friendly staffs. They have everything that you basically need under home appliance. The price here are competitive. Huge parking space is a plus point here. They have one of the biggest nursery here where you can buy plants and flowers also veggies. Overall they deserve 5 star for their products and services. 😍😍

When I first moved back to the Bay I was stoked to have a HD close by. Fast forward to now I realized that If I had wanted to live close do a decent one I shouldve bought a house in Emeryville or Hercules. These guys here are constantly out of even basic supplies and is a train wreck to shell out your ducats and escape with what little you did find.. If you have low expectations and dont mind wasting time or leaving empty handed this place is a perfect for you.

I love Home Depot. I build things and HD is a great supplier. This visit was with my Mom. When then garden season starts you must rush to gardening if you want daisies...RUSH.

Great because it’s local. But gets really busy, and dusty. Hercules store is better in general, though San Rafael is the best for nursery plants.

I found what I needed and if I didnt find it I probably didnt need it... Excellent selection in their gardening area with the dirt and the pots and the plants :)

This place is just a hassle. Difficult entry to find a park. No baskets available. Why? Because the store has so much merchandise stored in the baskets throughout the junky store. Ive been in a lot of Home Depots this one is a wreck. Better off going to the Hercules store.

The most helpful HD store Ive been to in the last few years. I hated going to HD because the staff there were always unhelpful. I decided to give this one a try & was glad I did. The person in the paint department was knowledgeable & helpful. He walk through the isles & stayed with ne until my objective was complete. He didnt rush me through. I will start going to this store before I go to any other.

It’s a great job the people help me a lot I have a couple Christian Guy employee very nicely give me the service thank you thank you Home Depot great job.😊

A slightly run-down but well stocked Home Depot. I can almost always get in and out quickly with whatever I need.

Not the friendliest home depot staff. Not the most organized, well stocked store. Definitely not the worst. If you have the time, it might be worth a little extra drive to go to San Rafael or Hercules. Both offer a superior shopping experience.

7 out of 10 times they are out of stock on the items I want.Ace does a much better job for the items i regularly need. Especially the privately owned companies like Ace in Elsa Brontë

Finally, we had to go to concord, Lowes. When we live in El Cerrito it was disappointing. This was not the first time we experience less customer service.Wish they have experienced employees who can help truly and with confidence.

Watch out those cashiers. I bought 4 tomato cages but she charged me 11 tomato cages. Then I went back and talked to her wanted to get the refund for my money back. They were so RUDE and asked me to go to front cashier for help with such BAD attitude!!! Wasting my time!!!

I used to be an employee for home depot so I know the ins and outs,listen if you are a do it your self type of person than do your research before you go shopping into any hardware home improvement store dont expect for the associates to know all the answers for your project, they are there to help help you find items not explain how everything works and gets installed and if tou dont know get a contractor or handyman. Also some Hd employees do have some knowledge as they show them videos to teach the client and or some employees also have experience in the field of construction/home improvement area. I did go into this store and they have a bunch of new people out of 10 employees i saw this sunday oly one helped me and thats because i asked him for help but he ended being a nice guy the cashier was also friendly. Its a big store its usually busy one can get lost looking for small items luckily for you and i if you go to the website it gives you the aisle number of the items you are looking for. Again Employees do not greet you or ask if you need help so if you have a big project i recommend golden state lumber ashby lumber or someone else that cares. Home depot does carry lots of products and its convenient because there is one every 10 to 15 mins. Anyways i dont expwct much when i go to home depot i usually know what i want and need for my projects i hope it goes well for you.

Home Depot has remained rock steady for service during the troubled times of late. In other words, HD is still the best all around construction/renovation stores in this century. Thumbs ☝.

Everybody goes to this one and it has good service however watch out for the speed bumps near the entrance, my mother tripped on one and we spent the day in urgent care.

Lots of stuff, customer service sometimes hard to find, less helpful than Ace, can be rude. Excellent return policy.

I go because I have to and while the employees can be nice and helpful, the manager is majorly rude and disrespectful and the store as a whole is a dumpster fire.

Stores a bit unorganized and things are not in their marked places. Went there for a specific tool that was supposed to be in stock according to the stores website. Get there and not only is it not there, there wasnt anything like it from a different brand either, and even though there were employees on the floor nobody was of any help. So frustrating! Because of this our plumbing will be out of order for yet ANOTHER DAY! GGGGRRRRRR...😤😠

Be careful for prices because sometimes the labels and the receipts do not match. I bought over 10 boxes of flooring and the label said 49.96 but they charged me 52.15. After I found out they gave me a refund and the duty supervisor said sorry to me and that they were not updated by the week. But I saw that the item was there for the whole month. So be careful when you shop and check your reciepts.

Home Depot is a fantastic store where you can buy things that you can do yourself at home they want you to do it yourself so that you can do it again but sure enough you will fail with no experience

Always come here for home improvement needs. Then CoVid hit and took me almost seven months to coma back again. Staff are brisk to attend to us . I can see sales attendant on floor. When we get in line of the new self assisted check out counter we are kinda lost. Good thing one of their staff is on standby and helped us with the use.

Needs Better Workers With Experience

Parking lot was a zoo. Folks driving like theyre on The Autobahn. Attempted to call ahead for one item - took over an hour to confirm order. Once in line - no record. Nor was cashier motivated to assist on the next level. Fortunately I saved receipt for my order and was able to get my product.

Home depot associate Antonio is very helpful with customers. He helped me to find multiple things and gave good guidance to find some tools.

Its a good H D. People are good.

Wackiest customer service ever. I went to go copy keys. There were two employees chitchatting by the copy keys machine: he told us that he can’t leave the area because he can’t (when he obviously wasn’t doing anything). Long story short I’m disappointed

This place is horrible, even for a home depot. Twice Ive tired to purchase something for pickup in the store, and twice theyve put it into the wrong locker for pickup and twice Ive had to deal with surly assistant managers who wanted to do anything else except make it right. Other Home Depots in the area are fine, on a scale of 1-10 I give this one and their management the finger.

Im disabled and they dont have electric carts available. Exhausting shopping in large superstore!

The staff is decent sometimes I think theyre under staffed to save the owners good chunk of change because the employee to customer ratio is bananas. Although I enjoy home depot alot due to its variety of home goods, I am a construction worker so I know my way around the store as well.

I tried to pay for my merchandise at self service ,and didnt know how to use the new setup ,and the young lady at the self serv. station was very helpful ,polite and patient to direct me with the transaction steps. Such a caring staff member is a great asset to your entity. Wish I knew her name in order to identify her to your management.

Staff is more than a little rude, its not the customers fault that the employees are only paid minimum wage..... The upper management of this Atlanta corporation should pay better and make some other changes in policy as well.

All the power tools are locked up, so you need the help of a staff member who is never in the area, and all the ones who are tell you its not their department. but at least Theyve always had the Milwuakee tool I was looking for.

Great staff, well organized, but they dont tend to have things out of stock. Also their store policy is that they dont price match...thats right, home depot generally price matches but this store does not apparently.

Salesperson Lulu in appliances was very helpful. Home Depot did not have the LG range I wanted. However the salesperson told me labor day there would be better inventory.
