Great caramel macchiato. Nice atmosphere but I prefer a cozier and quieter option. Open doors for fresh air but a tad bit on the cool side for me. I also wish they had a better selection of food.

We tried the Pesto Breakfast sandwich and the squash bread. Each is made fresh and either onsite or locally. We also got a mocha and an Americano. Smooth tasting coffee. Clean and friendly atmosphere and prompt service. This is a small site and does not have much seating. But it seems most people take things to go. Would definitely recommend everything we had to anyone.

“Regulars seem to own the place” and “staff seems to be a bit cold” are both quite valid descriptors of this place. We live less than 2 blocks away, come to this shop 5 times a week at least. Have never been treated friendly and not a single employee remembers the drink I’ve been ordering every day for a year. This wouldn’t bother me but they seem to be extra friendly to 85% of the people that have come in while I’m there. 😔 just the quality of coffee isn’t keeping me here any longer I’ll be venturing down the street. ☕️

Good, smooth coffee. Nice setting where you can have coffee indoors or take it to go and peruse the neighborhood or even make the short drive to a local park and watch the waves while you get caffeinated. The shop is very stroller and walker friendly. Restrooms have baby changing station. Plenty of soap. Clean. Staff is smiling behind their COVID masks and they seem delighted to serve their customers. One 15 minute parking spot out front, or park for free along the street.Fun note: they sell tshirts and art too!

The best coffee in Seattle is not in Seattle. Also, their baristas are very well trained and they pull the smoothest shots if you enjoy your espresso straight instead of covered in sugar flavoring.

I dont know what it is, but I get a good vibe here. To the point where I actually never want to leave. Its easy to get comfortable & creative here.

Not a fan of their coffee at all, no real Covid protocols seem to be in place other than people can’t sit there. All the food is in the refrigerator that anyone can touch and go through that is only being covered by saran wrap...Doesn’t seem like a very good way to protect your customers from multiple people touching the same food. Staff seems a little cold.

Cute neighborhood cafe on Walnut st. that I’ve somehow never been to even though I’ve lived in Edmonds most of my lifeSuper nice baristas, alt milk options, and a surprising amount of seating for a shop so small. The only note I’ll make is the coffee isn’t very strong. I had a latte with soy milk and couldn’t really taste the espresso. ~$4 My sister got a kids cocoa and both drinks were a little too light and milky. ~$2 But I will say, both were so affordable I didn’t really mind.

One of the best perks of living in Edmonds, and the only way to start off my Saturday/Sunday mornings. ☕️ I love the almond-flavor latte, and/or the Americano. One thing to keep in mind, if you go on the weekends, be prepared to stand in a line… That sometimes out the door… Just know it’s worth it, and it’s for a reason. This coffee is the best. Hands-down. They also have an orange rewards card that gives you a free drink after you’ve purchased 10… Which is easy to rack up once you try this place.

Came after 4pm for a treat and coffee. The hot chocolate and lattes were very good, served in a large tea-like mug. There were no treats left when we arrived, so if you are looking for an evening croissant or cake treat they will only have it in the morning. However my fat free latte was very good, tasted rich and filling.

Almost an out of the way location, you really need to be on the lookout for Walnut Street coffee. The staff is friendly and greet everyone coming in, many by first name. The coffee is first rate, my latte was excellent and served in a real cup, nice touch. I had a ham and cheese croissant, picked from the plethora of very enticing baked goods. The croissant had a crackly crust with a tasty Swiss cheese and ham filling. You need to give them a try, its worth the trip!

This is my favorite coffee shop in Edmonds. Very good coffee, they have plenty of non-dairy alternatives (and oat milk!), but most importantly, they have incredibly good pastries. I cant remember if they said they get them from a local bakery or bake them in house (or both) but they are always amazing and fresh (sometimes warm). The service is also very professional (fast), friendly, and the cafe itself is very nice with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Walnut is like a dream come true as a local. I have a coffee shop within walking distance of my residential building, offering standard-priced coffee and baked goods at well above standard tastes. Their coffee is always perfect, espresso never burnt. Very rarely has it taken more than 2-3 minutes for me to get in and out with my coffee before work - great service and skilled baristas.

Discovered Walnut Street an hour before closing on a Sunday. Atmosphere feels a bit spartan... indy without quirky personality... but its bright, has decent seating, and doesnt feel corporate. Very limited food selection, but there is food and I enjoyed it. Went WAY overboard on my little bit of cream in my iced American, but they had heavy cream, nailed the ever-important extra ice ratio, and the espresso wasnt bitter. Quick and friendly service. Art of the walls. Clearly serving a community that appreciates it because it was close to full at an odd time, and the clientele doesnt resist sharing the larger tables. Id definitely go back. Not my neighborhood and wouldnt be my first thought, but if Im in Edmonds again and Google espresso near me, Ill pick it over the corporate juggernauts. This is the kind of cafe you want to see develop a strong character and succeed.
