I dont know the clerks name, but they were one of the rudest, most unhelpful people Ive dealt with in some time. I had a pre-paid label that was e-mailed to me from FedEx. The contents of that e-mail said that a FedEx clerk at a FedEx location could print it for me if I showed them the e-mail on my phone. However, the QR code in my e-mail would not display on my phone. Despite having my full name, e-mail address, phone number, as well as the label ID and code, this person said well, theres nothing I can do for you. That response left me, well, aghast. Given all of that information, it was not at all believable that they couldnt help me. Then a light bulb went off in their head and they said that I could forward the e-mail to the store and they could print it that way, which worked just fine. All the while, this person is being extremely argumentative with me, making counterpoints to every word out of my mouth for seemingly no reason except some apparent, deep desire not to help their customer. They even went on about how they have no way of knowing its even my label. First of all, huh? Second, I said that I had the entire, full label up on my phone. They said that was of no help and repeated that they didnt know it was actually my label. I said of course its mine, and here was their response. Are you ready for this? Says you. Yeah, they actually said that, and in a sarcastic tone. I said, no, says your label that has my full name and all of my information printed right on it. At this point, the transaction was complete and I left. What a bizarre experience.

I had a negative experience my last time here. But this time there was a worker named ashley, she was great. Calm, patient, friendly, attentive, helped me save money and understand my options overall. I will actually return when its not my last possible choice like this time. Told me to leave because I was wearing a full face motorcycle helmet. Sorry but my helmet is a lot thicker than a mask and gives much better protection.No other business has ever had an issue with my full face helmet.

The ultimate work product was fine but the service was less than stellar. The employees were not friendly nor did they seemed concerned about ensuring that the order was correct. I didn’t have high expectations and I was not let down. The store itself was clean and well organized.

Its really very bad experience I was in the line for 45 minutes to do my order and when my turn comes the employee start process my order in first 2 minutes and he left behind and he does something else and then I just left without doing my order

Today I had to be in this location despite the shelter in place order. The staff were Excellent. Amazing, just exceeded my expectations in every way. Excellent with compliance to safety standards and providing customers reassurance.

The service is a hit and miss. Sometimes, you will get a very friendly employee who will process everything very quickly. Sometimes, you will get that apathetic employee who is acting like those teenage workers in theme parks. Sometimes, you will get that strict employee who will ask you to show documents to prove you are a US resident before processing your package, or other sorts of weird “company policy” bureaucratic red tape that you have never heard before. Giving the impression that they deliberately make it difficult to claim and send packages.Hit and miss for the couriers as well. Most FedEx couriers in the East Lansing area have been the friendliest and most competent couriers I have ever met. Some are willing to take that extra step of hiding your package to prevent theft. But some are too lazy to wait around so they will just knock once then leave a “no one’s home” note literally 3 seconds after knocking.Just be patient and do not set your expectations too high. They have no customer service standards at all. But in the end, they mostly get the job done.

The rudest man Ive ever encountered at a place of service. Irritated by my questions. No doubt, I was in a hurry, but not a reason to be a complete jerk. It was obvious it was personal because he was chatting nicely to the people behind me, while telling me it wasnt his problem I was in a rush. I will not go back since this was not the first bad experience at this location. Guy needs some training or a new job!

Had a couple of good experiences here, one getting a passport photo, and the other shipping a small item. The overnight rate was pretty high, much more than cost of the item, and the employee offered me a few other options to save money, which I went with. Very helpful.

Great employees! This is a busy location but the staff gets through the lines quickly. I ship FedEx every day and have had ZERO mistakes and have no complaints.They offer a lot of services but I have only used the shipping center and made business cards. I cant speak for the rest of the services and the employee knowledge of the machines.(After reading other comments) - Location IS exactly where it says it is on the map. The hours are fantastic for working late.

Hours accomidate the people that dont work from 9 to5. Clean well lit interior. More lights In parking lot would be great. Needed copies of legal documents and every time I visit the machines are sometimes not working because the connection between the card reader and the machine is not working. I agree with the other people that have posted, college students have extremely unrealistic expectations when it comes to customer service. I have witnessed their temper tantrums when I have visited in the past. I do want to say when i needed help the staff is kind and very polite.

Excellent service. Excellent quality. Students often expect miracles or turn around times that are unreasonable just because they waited to the last minute. Please dont be angry with a person who has worked hours on end by themselves and has jobs stacked up BEFORE YOU GOT THERE and now the line goes out the door. No excuses... just be understanding, they are overworked, underpaid people ...just like you.

Worst customer service experience of my life because of a stubborn, unpleasant employee. The FedEx website notified me that my package was available to pickup at this store today (626 E Michigan Ave). When I arrived, the first employee called someone over to help. She said my package was not at this location and to check back tomorrow. After some back-and-forth, she agreed to look up the location of my package; it was right here in the store.After she retrieved my package from the back she asked for identification. No problem, I pulled out my license, but the employee was not satisfied. The address on my license didnt match the address on the package, I would now need to present the employee with my lease or a bill of my address.I dug through emails on my phone and found a copy of my current lease. I showed it to the employee, but this was still not enough proof to receive my package because my signature wasnt on the same page as the address.I dug through more emails and found an electric bill for my address. This was finally enough proof and the employee reluctantly gave me my package.

FedEx seems to be the most expensive out of USPS & UPS. I’ve waited close to 10 min to drop off a package that already had a label. This location could have the potential to be a great store, but not with pricing and lack of service.

The woman there insisted to open the box before sending to check the packing. She said its not well packed and it needs to repack. The cost for packing is $25, yes, $25! She did not agree to ship if I dont accept repack the box. Its 0F freezing night and I had to drive home without sending the package.Its not the first time, I had that experience few weeks ago, same woman, asked to repack by adding some air bubbles then charge me $8 for repacking!Worst place ever.

I couldnt decide between one or two stars, but I gave them a two star rating as a mercy point! The customer service here is horrible! They kept trying to refer me to the main Fedex customer service phone number, even though I had tried this TWICE. Both times I got someone in another country (one in South America, and supposedly one in the USA, but they both had very thick accents, and didnt understand English).The person at this store knew NOTHING, and the customer service number people kept reading from a script. Fedex may be cheap, but their customer service training is also low budget.....horrible! A bunch of know nothing drones.

I cannot remember one time i had a good experience with fedex. Everytime I buy a package the estimated delivery date is wrong, it was supposed to be delivered thursday, now it gets moved to saturday. Last time I had a package shipped with fedex the delivery driver didnt even attempt to knock on my door and somehow claimed that no one was home. Will avoid this company at all costs

The person messed up order twice in a row. I gave her two sided articles for reprint. She did not check and printed them one sided- every other page. after re-printing them, I just realized she did not check yet again. This time she printed them two sided, however they are still every other page and im missing half of the pages of the four articles I must read for class.

Dont want to buy anything shipping by FedEx, not in my lifetime. Horrible customer service, dont do anything, I called million times, tell they just drop it off in front of my apartment, but they keep returning it back to their office. Unable to schedule drop off time, always tell you to wait for another day and another day. Nobody gonna wait at home all day for a package, think about that!
