Herbert is AMAZING! I came in late this evening after I found out my battery was functioning at 20%. Every other auto parts store told us that a mechanic would have to replace the battery because of where it was located in the hood. After a moment of looking at my car Herbert was able to recommend a replacement and install a new battery, all within 20 mins. He was so knowledgeable and a pleasure working with. The staff stayed after hours just to make sure my dad showed up so I got home safe and to try and get my car up and going. I needed a new battery(I thought that was the only problem) but turns out there was an underlying problem causing my car to not start even with a perfectly good, new battery. They did all they could to get my car to go and really cared! Very impressed and thankful.

They have a great selection of parts and they also have great and comparable prices for the area.The best part of this location is the willingness of the team to point you in the right direction for your needs. Jerry is good, without him it would be a 1 star rating. The corporation as a whole needs to get their ship together. There is no reason 4 or 5 year old computer issues should still be a problem.

Ive been here twice now, and the customer service is great. I needed bulbs for my car tail lights. The lady asked me if I replaced bulbs before and provided helpful tips. I came back today because my car was having a rough time starting in the cold. I suspected the battery. I first called my mechanic and he wanted me to drop off the car so they could check it out when they had time. I stopped here instead and within a couple of minutes had the problem figured out and at no cost. It was the battery. They replaced it and I was soon on my way. The guy was helpful with what I needed and managed to get the stubborn battery connection off. I love how nice they are and that they got me on my way quickly.

I get most all of my car parts here but for the stuff I need to order I go to the Holt location

Cashier chick was scary, couldnt figure out she owed me a dollar when I gave her 10.15 for something 9.15.....had another guy help her, saying she is bad at math....wth?

I searched all over town for a part for my 1966 Mustang. No one had it in stock and most places said they could special order it and that would take up to 3 days. Advance had it for me in less than 2 hours!!

Been to this location several times and never really had any problems.. Sunday I go in the store after speaking to a very helpful guy on the phone to pick up my part. The guy I spoke with was leaving so I was helped by a lady in the store. They had the part ready but when she told me the price I said “The guy I spoke to told me under $30) she had just told me $70+... she promptly replied and said “Nice try sir”.. she was so rude and I had never had that treatment like that in that store before... I told her I was not joking and that I was told just that! When I left the store the other guy was returning, I told him what happened and of course he apologized for her rude actions and said their was not much he could do cause she was the boss... won’t be back to that store with management like that running the place, Autozone is right across the road!

Brought in my dead battery and a great guy there named Mike helped me get it charged, it only took 35 minutes and he also tested it and we found out that my battery needs to be replaced. I brought my car back and they tested the alternator to make sure it was the battery and then he even cleaned off the battery posts since a lot of corrosion and rust had built up. (I didnt buy a new battery then due to other constraints) but they did all of the checks and tests for free and in a timely manner. They were incredibly kind and helpful throughout everything

If its something that they can take care of, then they will tell me about options in the store, but if I need to take my truck to a mechanic, they usually recommend 3-4 local garages. I also appreciate that Ive always been given numerous options to consider whether its products in the store or local mechanics.My experiences at this store include: diagnostic tests (when the check engine light comes on), battery purchase and install, windshield wiper purchase and install, battery check (usually they end up thoroughly clean any corrosion on the terminals), and common auto-related purchases (e.g., air freshener, cleaners, de-icer).

They were actually smarter and better than Auto zone and oreilly. Had the part I needed to fix my vehicle. I would recommend them.plus the staff was very friendly and funny.

Went in for a valve cover gasket for a toyota Corolla 4 cylinder. I was very specific and friendly to the employee. He was very dismissive and sold me a valve cover gasket for a Chevrolet v8. Went back in the next day and the person that assisted me was extremely helpful and found me exactly what I needed and made the situation right.

Jeff was very friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. He even helped me put more freon in my car for my ac which I appreciated very much.

Always a great experience, decent prices and very knowledgeable staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Ive been having a tough month financially, and Im trying to get my car in shape to sell. Sean and Kameron were more than helpful with everything I needed. I think this is the second review Ive ever actually spent the time to write, but these guys at the EL Advance Auto deserve it.

They guys at Advance know their stuff. They always have what I need or can get it ordered and in the store quickly. There is seldom a line, so you walk right up to the counter if you have questions. My go-to auto parts store for sure.

I am someone who knows very little about cars and I dont have anyone to help me when I have car issues. I have no idea even how to replace my windshield wipers. My headlight burned out and I was made aware of it when the popo pulled me over. I came to this store tonight and was thankful they were even open on Sunday and until 8!The manager Fred went above and beyond helping me. I feel really thankful and blessed he was working because I dont think anyone else would have been so kind. If you need help with your car and dont really know what to do I would recommend you come to this store and ask for Fred, the manager!

Even with Auto Zone across the street, I lilr this store better. Its small with not a lot on the shelves for the casual shopper, they have just about everything you could need in the back room. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, plus the computer does a good job findingnthe right parts for just about any makenor model. You pay more than the big boxes but you get more.

Not overly impressed with stock. Attempting to buy Headlights for truck and they did not have.

Google hours indicate that this location is open untill 10pm. I made a special trip to spend my money here and arrived at 9:15pm only to find door locked and all the lights on. The open sign was on and once I caught the attention of the employees one came to the door and I tried to show them that there open sign was on and that Google showed they were open till 10pm .The response I received was... Well lets just say less than professional. This location is just down the road from my house but after this experience I will happily drive across town to there nearest competitor. Maybe if ur Google listing has been wrong for years someone should look into fixing it!

I just came here after going to a nearby place who wouldnt install battery with a core. This place was reasonably priced, instatntly had everything ready, did the whole installation, and the guy who helped us (I think his name was Ian) was very friendly.

When they were the only game in town you could forgive their lack of customer service and generally poor attitudes. Now with Autozone down the street and numerous other options - dont go. I really cant stress enough how the poor attitude can impact your experience at an auto parts store. Knowing cars isnt a requirement but being friendly and open to assist the customer is a must.
