Delicious ... as always. they have the perfect donuts for every occasion. I only recommend that you take care of the amount of sugar you consume, but, if a couple of times a year you are going to abuse sugar, this is the place. 🥰 today I went for a Halloween special.

There were only two people there at the time and one person left before I got to the window. It took over 20 minutes to get to the drive through window, where it was an additional 10-15 minutes for the lone worker to get my money and give me my order. Poor kid was trying to cook and decorate donuts, take orders, and take care of customers. All by himself. I should have gotten his name. He was very pleasant and was just calm and did what he could do.

Only drive thru now, but donuts are still delicious. We tried the 3 pumpkin offerings, and were not disappointed. A guilty pleasure.

Wow saddest service and product I received from krispy kreme. It took a whopping 30 minutes (not exaggerated) to get order completed. I was told I could only get the cinnamon toast donuts in 4 . So I said ok got 1 and 2 other donuts. Over 12$ for 6 donuts. The cinnamon roll donut were not decorated at all. 3 of the 4 were small. Some smaller then a normal donut. The worst most expensive cinnamon roll donuts I ever tasted. Tasted old as well. The lady was nice but overWaste my time and money. 1st and last time

I love Krispy Kreme. However, this Krispy Kreme is terrible! They are always out of donuts and staff is not friendly. I have gone many times, a few times I went. its been closed in the middle of the day. This last time was on Friday and my daughter was really looking forward to going inside. We have ordered online several times and have been disappointed with the quality. However Krispy Kreme donuts are still better than any other donut. I just wish this location was more consistent.

The wait for donuts is ridiculous and i get to the window and drive off with these mini donuts this place needs new ownership! Taste just like pure oil and no glaze!

It makes me sad after not having a Krispy Kreme for years, I got this donut. In all fairness I havent eaten my glazed blueberry donut. The chocolate covered custard filled was horrible. Saying this donut was custard filled is so very far from the truth. As my photo shows. Only the last third of my donut had any filling at all.

Best one Ive been to. Clean and the donuts are fresh. The process to see the making of the donuts is easily visible behind a giant glass wall. Note that the bathroom is locked and you need to ask for the access code to get in.

I love Krispy Kreme, but this experience where the lobby was closed and you were forced through the drive through was really not pleasant.Update: came back today, lobby still closed... Order sign in drive-through broken... LAME.

This location is easy to get too. The employees are professional and friendly..the quality of product is a very high standard as is the drive thru service ..they are fast as you can be. Why I gave it a 4 star rating ..price and price ...6 donuts and a milk almost $12 ....geezI will just put a spoon of sugar in my mouth and call it a day.

Was the only one waiting at the counter, roughly 10 minutes when another customer came flying in and received service before me. Cashiers had me down for 12 when I only had 3 but that was fixed. Doughnuts were good as always, service lacked severely for me but others not so much.

Was pretty disappointed during my visit here - donuts were great, but tried to order an iced or frozen latte and was told that the latte mixing machine was in working order but they wont use it because its hard to clean and people were complaining of a soapy taste, so they just tell people they cant make lattes anymore! I dont think corporate would be terribly happy about that, especially given that cold coffees would be a major source of income in the hot months in Durham...

Avoid if you want your product hot. Way before covid they slipped as far as quality. The hot sign was never on and when it was you STILL couldnt get it hot. They arent consistent and it hurts to say that about a product I love. I gave up and have not gone back. I even called their cs line, still no change after that. If you dont believe me call them and ask when the hot sign is supposed to be on and see if they match hot product with those times. Not making it up, they wont get a dime of my money anymore.

Always a favourite!! See the live production and eat fresh!! Did you know the neon sign lights up when theyre doing the dounts!! So you know when to pick up fresh. About 9 times a day. And so fun wearing those caps! And eating the great selection.. for the tourists, Krispy was founded in NC!!

I LOVE KRISPY KREME!! Have been going since I was a kid. At that time the only location was (still is) in Raleigh. But as long as this one has been open in Durham, I have visited semi frequently. My favorite is the Chocolate with Creme filling and of course, the plain with sugar. I enjoyed the Oreo Cookie with Chocolate filling and many others. The four stars has a bit to do with the service at times.

Love their donuts!! They were out of many varieties and the wait in the drive through was long. It was free donut Monday but it still moved slow. The location is very convenient. The so.e and the grounds seemed to be kept up well. They carry some crazy varieties of donuts, Birthday Cake, Oreo Cookie, e.t.c.

The 2nd time I have gone to this location with the hot sign and gotten cold doughnuts and to top it off the lobby isnt open so you cant go back in you have to wait in the long line again.

I lease spaces to over 500 small businesses owners in the triangle. Needed a very large order of coffee and doughnuts for rams plaza shopping center (small businesses owners)This location refused multiple times to let me call in a pick up.Sent my two assistants after one of them was able to place a pick up. And it was not ready when they arrived.Don’t offer online orders or pick up if your employees won’t do it or take them on the phone.

I’d give them 5 stars but they never have any donuts available to rate 🙄😒

It’s Krispy Kreme, so you know donuts and coffee. That said, these guys should update their intercom - the drive through person couldn’t understand me and I could barely understand her.She didn’t ask if wanted sugar or cream, so my coffee was black - not what I wanted.They were also super slow, I checked the time and it took more than 10 minutes for me to get my order with only 4 cars ahead of me. That’s pretty slow for coffee and donuts - I’ll just go to DD in the future.

Go to the drive-through and the lady says“Krispy Kreme”. yes I’d like one chocolate doughnut and a medium coffee please she replies “ pull forward”. When I get to the window hold a five dollar bill out she takes money, never telling me how much I owe, hands me my change out the window not saying a word. after a couple minutes I get my doughnut and my coffee I said thank you have a good day she says humm and close The window. And these people want $15 an hour yea right for what horrible customer service horrible manners rudeness I don’t think soHe won’t kill you to say thank you have a nice day come again it may get you a little farther in life

Located on a busy street. One line drive through only on 2/25/21, although store has been open for walk-in during past weeks. Made a special trip across town to redeem an offer that was supposed to be honored during hot light hours. Sat in drive-thru line for 14 minutes. Management refused to honor offer because he had turned hot light off before the end of his stores hot light hours that are listed on their website.

Im disappointed at this Krispy kreme donut. They dont have enough variety. I guess I didnt come early enough to get the ones I like. But still... You need to make at least maple glaze, raspberry filling, new york cheesecake, cinnamon apple filling and strawberry glaze. Oh and this one below me is the lemon filling that I bite into it.... barely has the lemon filling. Well at least its fresh. But still Im very disappointed. They need to hire new workers.

By far my worst experience at a Krispy Kreme. They were out of all of donuts I asked for so I ordered others and two coffees. Both of the coffee orders were wrong, and after waiting 5 minutes they told us they were all out of cream for the coffee. Very disappointed and will not be returning to this location.

Worst drive in experience I ever had across United States. The lady at the booth was not at all professional. She made me wait 10 to 15 minutes just to take my order and then even after that when I was at the window to receive my order, I clearly saw order was packed but still she didn’t hand it over for couple of minutes. Doughnuts were cold as hell ( I always had warm donuts before). I didn’t feel welcome at this place and will never visit them again. I request management to hire folks who are people friendly

Doughnuts are always good. They are KK after all! However the hot sign is rarely on. The speaker at drive thru was broken. Many of the doughnuts I wanted were sold out, which is an ongoing problem no matter what time of day. The service at the window was good.

Accepted in order for two dozen glazed donuts. Can you pick it up, 10 minutes later, and they told me they were out. I was going to take them 45 minutes. If its going to take that long, either dont accept the order or tell me before I head over there.

I stopped to get my free covid-19 donut and a cup of coffee. While I was there I decided to get some donuts for my coworkers. Needless to say when I got to work everyone was happy! Bonus the guy at Krispy Kreme made sure to package me warm Donuts!

I paid 10 dollars for 2 donuts ,wrong order, This area is beyond traffic and its not a area you turn around in,so I was on the mountain a.d finally got a answer on the phone and they tell I cant get a refund cause I didnt come.back then.Well then is on a mountain, what was I going to do fly off the morning since its 2 lanes.one lane up another down..It takes at least 30 o. A good day MAYBE TO TURN around ..I refuse to ever buy one thing from this company..

Not only were almost half my donuts misshapen, they also tasted burnt/old. The staff is inattentive and rude. They intentionally hid the quality of the donuts and refused to replace them after we brought them back. We will never go to that location again.

I was able to get my order in a timely manner but was giving a box with cream everywhere on the outside. When asked what was on the box, I was told that their co-worker had cream on their hands when closing the box and an apology. I was ok with that. They were nice, professional and I dont eat the box 😉, however the package is just as important as the content inside.

Doughnuts. The Doughnuts. Every 4 months I need Krispy Kreme. But what I hate is going, waiting, planning the perfect dozen and being told, Sorry, hon. We dont have that. All they sell is doughnuts. How can you be out of cake or jelly? If you believe the hype, no one really likes anything but original glazed. And yet they are always out of everything but original glazed. And I just take the dozen they give me. 😂

I went on Friday night on the weekend where it is hot all weekend. This is the absolute most terrible Krispy Kreme I have ever been to. I have been in line for about 30 minutes or more and still have 9 cars in front of me. The people inside have literally been slowly moving around, stretching, and there is no enthusiasm or energy at all to get these orders out. I get being busy and it being a bit slower but this..... there are people backed up all the way to the highway! This is just terrible and needs some major work.

Do you want a doughnut? DONT GO HERE! They basically never have any flavor besides two flavors. I live 5 min from this place and the past three times I’ve tried to go it’s always “nope we don’t have half the menu.” I’ve been to other Krispy Kreme locations and they are always fully stocked. This one seems poorly managed.

Was Charged for additional items I did not buy.Did not give me my receipt until I asked for the refund. I asked for receipt and was given an attitude. Realized I was overcharged and charged for items I did not buy. Then told that the item I actually ordered was not available after 20 minutes sitting at the window. Asked for refund. When I mentioned it’s been 20 minutes and now I’m late to work , I was laughed at and told to come in earlier to accommodate their schedule.Go to Dunkin’ Donuts across the street!

I LOVE Krispy Keme donuts, but this review is not about the donuts. The service at this location is easily some of the worst I have experienced in Durham. The staff does not seem particularly interested in providing any level of customer service, and you can hardly blame them because they always seem to be short 3-4 staff members. Unless you get lucky plan on sitting in the drive thru for 30-45 minutes, and if you order online they often seem to not have an order under that name and cant do anything about it even though you have the order information to show them.

Staff was unhelpful when ordering and ended up just cancelling our order and putting in a simpler one. When we got to the window and found out what the special actually meant we were prepared to pay anyway because we were just confused about how it worked. She then asked for our phone number for the rewards program (were not rewards members ) then stated it was for rewards members only. No where in the email or online does the special say rewards members only.. we ended up leaving without our doughnuts..

Horrible representation of Krispy Kreme. The line was extremely long; it took an hour for 10 cars to order drive thru. They got our simple 12 donut order 100% incorrect. When we addressed the issue they insisted it was our fault. Instead of correcting the order, they gave us 6 random free donuts to compensate. Not going back.

My boyfriend went through the drive thru 2 days in a row (today and yesterday) and was told they didnt have any raspberry filled doughnuts. Yesterday he waited 30 minutes in the drive thru line.

While I love Krispy kreme this particular location is consistently the worst Ive ever experienced. Unfortunately it is also the closest to me but I always regret purchasing from here. If the hot light is on the doughnuts more often than not seem like they were made and just sitting out for a while rather than fresh off the line. If the hot light is off the doughnuts are stone cold like they came out of the freezer and were made a couple days ago. Whenever theres a special doughnut like first Fridays they either give me regular chocolate or it looks like the doughnuts were dropped or something. Their doughnuts cost way too much to be for the quality they pass out at this location. I can just buy grocery store doughnuts for a fraction of the price.

Worse service ever! Sat in line for over 15 mins had to repeat my order several times just to get to the window and they completely messed my whole order up! The sign was on letting us know the doughnuts would be fresh only to receive cold doughnuts that felt like they had been sitting there all day! I don’t see myself returning to this establishment anytime soon!

Their location website says Hot Light hours are 6-10pm. Well, its 8:30pm and the light is off. Booo. Booooooo.Also, nobody answers the phone, and Googles info is wrong - they are NOT open for carryout or dine-in. Just drive-thru tonight.

Welcome to Durham. We were told at the drive thru, “ hold on a sec” this “sec” was 10 minutes. I thought they might be a little more attentive but only arrived at the pickup window to see the lady drop one of my donuts onto the floor and then place it quickly beside the other 11 they managed to box up. WHAT IN The World!

Donuts were of expected quality but the wait was excessive. Almost 30 minutes in the drive though line and this was without three Hot Fresh Now sign on.

I went for the pumpkin spice cake donut that I received an email from Krispy Kreme stating it had returned for the fall. Ordered the 3 pack of 2 pumpkin spice cake donuts in drive thru then waited 5 more minutes to get to the window. The cashier stated the order took my card for payment then went to fill the order and returned to say, Sorry we just ran out of the Pumpkin Spice cake donut. I am thinking you should have checked the supply before you took my payment. Then she offered other alternatives but obviously I didnt want those because not what I ordered. Krispy Kreme knows the Pumpkin Spice cake donut is very popular so do better on supply of the donut a d customer service of your personnel.

Drive-thru extremely slow...what are the employees doing?? They can’t possibly be making donuts...only customers are in the drive thru....i don’t understand how a business can be ran so poorly.... are there no managers to oversee better operations??

Dont go there if its even an hour close to closing time because they will pretend you dont even exist in the drive-thru. Went to McDonalds instead for a quick dessert. Would have been different if someone had acknowledged us at all but they instead watched us drive through the drive-thru twice with zero excuse or even acknowledging we were there.

WARNING PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! For one the hot light was off at the time it was suppose to be on. Me and my wife was the only car in the drive thru we had to blow the horn to get their attention after sitting there for 2 minutes waiting for someone to answer only to be to be greeted by terrible customer service and being told most of the doughnuts were unavailable. We will never go back there again

Ill echo what others have said: this location is inexplicably slow, doesnt have the selection of other Krispy Kreme locations, and the staff that I interacted with definitely shouldnt be in an customer service position. Next time, Ill drive the extra 10 minutes to go to the Raleigh location.
