No Almond Milk is a problem for me. The breakfast burrito and sandwich are fabulous.

My first time visiting this quaint and cozy place. I was so excited to get the almond butter toast that I forgot to take a picture. The presentation was beautiful. The toast was topped with a delicious almond butter, fresh blueberries, fresh strawberries, and lemon zest. Garnished with a swirled orange slice on the side. Customer service was outstanding, everyone greeted you with a smile and was very helpful. If youre ever in the mood for some delicious coffee or a fresh baked pastry, biscuit, or muffin, give this place a try.

Its OK coffee shop considering that there arent that many places around there where you could go and work on your laptop for a couple of hours. My mocha was not the greatest and there were only couple baked goods items to choose from.

Great specialty coffee spot. Helpful and friendly staff. They are pulling shots on a Slayer. I had a cortado, it was fantastic. The food options are incredible too, and they make you feel good. I had a sweet potato scramble (it looked so good I forgot to take the picture first). I did not buy a pastry but tried the sample and it was great! Definitely recommend coming here.

I really like it in here.It’s bigger on the inside than it seems from the outside. It’s quiet and you can eat and eat your food.There are a lot of people here working and focused. They do have outdoor eating and parking is limited in the back but plenty in the front.Nice, quaint, quiet place to get your work done.

The cafe was so cold that I could not focus on my studying! And when I mention it they did nothing about it.

Really love the coffee and baked goods here. If you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend the salted caramel latte. And they have a great pandemic system for ordering and pick-up, with a pick-up window and some outdoor seating. It felt very safe, and the staff is extremely friendly.

Very polite staff, ethically sourced coffee, good food, clean bathrooms, and good seating options inside and out, with wifi and outlets for computers and phones. A great coffeeshop.

The coffee was delicious, but the customer service was quite lacking. My friend and I ordered coffee and food after 3:00 (we had not seen any signs saying that food was no longer served after 3:00), and the way the employee informed us that we could no longer order food, made us feel dismissed and belittled. They seemed unfriendly when taking our orders, making us feel unwelcome. We felt that if the mood of the cafe was more welcoming and friendly, the coffee would have tasted much better; we would have enjoyed the beautiful layout of the cafe as well, rather than leaving before we finished our drinks.

I have been going to this coffee shop for many years, recently have been visiting this location in the past 6 months. The first couple times the service was okay and the coffee was very good, the past few visits I have came in the coffee has been mediocre and the service has been horrible. Today I came by to pick up a mobile order, theres a chance I may have ordered the drink hot rather than cold, I would have taken the hot drink but the service was so horrible I asked for it to be made iced because I wanted something good out of the visit - sadly the coffee wasnt very good either. The gentleman was nice for the first minute of our interaction, but then became cold and rude to me after I asked for my order. I apologize for any confusion, he looked over at me turned his back to me and walked inside saying nothing in return. Too often this is how my service experience is when I come by to pick up my orders, I will not be returning until this situation is fixed. There are too many other coffee shops nearby with good coffee and good customer service that can use my money. I truly hope you guys figure this out soon because clearly through the comments this is a very common problem.***Wanted to add that it may be due to the staff at a particular time of the day, I usually come by between 11:30 and 12:30 on my lunch break. I understand people have hard days, and not everybody is going to be happy and cheerful all the time - but having the last three to four situations be so similar shouldnt be acceptable :/.

So glad this coffee shop was recommended to me! I tried the rose and cardamom oat milk latte and it was SO delicious. I also enjoyed the gouda and spinach scone.This location is tucked in a shopping center, so keep your eyes peeled. My daughters favorite drink is a vanilla steamer and this is the only place that remembers to make it the right temperature!

I read the reviews and saw the low ones said the coffee was good but service was bad, I said to myself that’s fine, it’s good coffee and you should not judge a place by bad service. We got our coffee, mine was iced and was leaking all over, and my girlfriend’s had about half empty. I asked the server if this is right and had him weigh the half cup of coffee, and said it was fine. We came back to complain and then they fixed the mistake. I later saw my cup was broken and that our servers had not only probably dropped both our coffees on the floor but saw it fix to serve us obviously dropped coffee anyway. Coffee was okay but wow. Even if this hadn’t happen, I don’t see myself giving this place above a 3. The fact they think it’s okay to serve this makes me wonder what they must get away with behind the scenes. Not a good way to start off your morning.

In my opinion, Joe Van Gogh is the best coffee roaster in RDU. Their coffee has a rich flavor, their decaf is great, and their pickup service is very convenient (when your order is ready, it will be sitting on a table outside of the front doors due to COVID). I highly recommend their City Lights blend or any of their decaf blends; their macadamia nut lattes are great too.

Lovely matcha latte — and they have macadamia milk! Not too sweet, solid matcha flavor and perfect temperature. Efficient online ordering and safe pick-up system. Yew !

The latte was ok. Service was good. Not a huge fan of their biscuits. They were out of the one I wanted. Not likely to eat here again but Ill try more of their coffee.

This place is great! The coffee is super affordable and tastes awesome. I love that they take recycling, compost, and waste management seriously. My only critique is sometimes there is a lack of seating and if you get a seat, youre not always guaranteed to have access to a charger.

No one is outside to take my order and they only have this stupid online order option.

Excellent coffee and service. Local coffee shops area the best. This one is one too which I will return. Next time Ill get food too, because it looked wire good as well. Excellent parking, cleanliness, service, seating, prices, options, and location. This is a casual environment where you can come and go as you wish or stay for a bit. Its a good place for working on a computer, small groups, or individual visits.

I recently discovered how good coffee could be after going to Melbourne, Australia. The coffee from this place is the only coffee Ive had in Durham/Morrisville that can rival what Ive had in Australia. But, my word, the desserts are truly wonderful. Some of the best sugar cookies Ive had come from here.

A great space, with lots of good coffee options. A few pastries and some simple menu options like avacado toast. The culture of the place is friendly, with lots of people hanging out. Also, lots of dogs. I had my two young kids with me and had no problems. Also, the bathrooms are not too bad, which is great because my kids always have to go. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend any day

This is a nice location with lots of seating. It does say busy so it may be hard to find a place to plug in your computer, but overall a great place for coffee and to work. I havent had food here but it does look delicious coming out of the kitchen and seems like light cafe fare. They also have a selection of bulk coffee for purchase along one wall.

Their ‘world famous’ lavender latte cannot be missed (I got oat milk instead of dairy) with the almond butter toast + fruit. I would like to see more space between the tables as it can feel ‘on top of one another’ at peak hours. However I fully understand the limitations of their space. If you are okay sharing air with your neighbors, I highly recommend this location to get some work done. Cheers!

Good atmosphere with nice staff, interesting tunes, efficient service and no problem finding a seat. I am a drip coffee person and they have a good variety of quality options with a couple of brews available at most times. They make fresh food with very good pastries and a seasonally changing menu of simple, light breakfast and lunch options. Its a good spot for groups of four and maybe up to six to meet but not good for larger. Parking is easy. At this moment there are over twenty live plants in the space so you can breathe plenty of fresh air while staying toasty warm or pleasantly cool while looking out the ample windows.

Staff is always friendly. Coffee and food are delicious. I like the biscuit with a fresh egg and my two year old always goes for the blueberry muffins. The vibe is always relaxed. We are lucky to be within walking distance and its a wonderful place to go and grab a unique weekend coffee drink and something to eat.

I had the lavender late and brie arugula sandwich. Both were delicious. Service was prompt and polite. I went at 10am and it was fairly busy. Not too loud but maybe not the most relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a quaint little place.

On the website it said there was Dine-in... that is not the case. Have a few tables outside, that is about it. No power outlets either.

Loved this coffee shop! Great atmosphere, very clean, the espresso and food was great. I had a wonderful piece of avocado toast and they had local made dog treats by the door to take with you. Definitely recommend!

Very tasty coffee. I ordered just a regular drip coffee which they had new guinea one on brew that day. So I also bought 3/4th lb of coffee beans in same flavor as well. I sadly did not order any pastries but they looked good!!! My boyfriend ordered some hot chocolate which was also very tasty! I have tried a lot of the coffee places around the triangle and this has been my favorite so far! Still have a few to try however. :)

I loved it so much, such a college feel to the atmosphere. The coffee is not overly sweetened. If u want sweet coffee and drinks u can ask for more sugar. The food is also pretty great.

A great coffee/tea shop. I’ve been to a big meeting here when the place was rented out for private event in the evening, and I’ve held work meetings and business masterminds over many cups of tea. Their avocado mash on toast is delicious too. Love Joe Van Gogh.

Friendly staff and service. Really focused on making good drinks, although to be fair I always order the oat milk matcha with a little bit of vanilla because it’s sooo good here! Feels very local, I love it!

Love this place. Staff is so friendly and the pour overs are great! Only thing is they should get power strips or tables with outlets. If its crowded and youre stuck at one of the middle tables you better have a long cord for your computer.

Staff is super friendly and eager to help. I had the seasonal coffee and thought it tasted very good. Atmosphere is very relaxed and casual. Only draw back for me was the chairs. They arent comfortable if you are a larger size person.

Pretty awesome lattes. They use Sweet Bird syrups which arent crazy sweet like Starbucks. The vanilla latte tastes like a toasted marshmallow.

Personally the coffee is way to strong for me. The atmosphere is a bit too stark for me. I can see how people like it, its just not my jam. It is pricey, but if you are into strong coffee and not a cozy atmosphere you will like it.

JVG roasts great beans for drip and pourover. Their espresso drinks are also lovely and not overly sweet. Love the very tangy and nutritious Veggie Taco Salad. They could charge $9 for it easily (but please dont!). Love the ambience and general vibe of this store.

Fantastic coffee, knowledgeable baristas. Nice spot tucked away so you dont feel like youre in a strip mall, but the most uncomfortable seats I may well have ever experienced in a cafe! Bummer because the coffee is exceptional. Come often, just dont stay too long!

Coffee and service are great (5 star)! Seating can be a challenge because tables are often occupied for extended periods of time by one person with a laptop. Doesnt seem to occur to them that they may be the cause of lost revenue for the coffee shop.

Id been missing out by only getting the delicious espresso drinks before I discovered the food. Ive just started ordering off of the breakfast menu (most recently the phenomenal avocado toast with farm fresh egg), and wish I had tried it sooner. The cookies and pastries are also delicious. All of that plus the super friendly and knowledgeable baristas and staff have made this my replacement for Scratch (R.I.P.).

I love JVG! Not only is the space well designed with really cool wooden counters, they have great coffee. I usually get a latte when I am here and either one of the star cookies or a biscuit. now that the weather is getting warmer, it is really nice to sit outside and enjoy cafe life.

Great coffee and espresso based drinks for the aficionado! In summer, try the nitro cold brew. Good variety of baked goods, including vegan options. You can buy whole beans by the pound as well.

They are always friendly and knowledgeable. Its a great environment tucked away from the hustle bustle. Like the house made rosemary syrup cappuccino.

The coffee is great and the baristas are fast and friendly. The location is a little plain but for coffee on the go, you can be in and out quickly with a great cup of coffee. Thats the important thing to me. They change the brew up from time to time so it can be a little disappointing if this is a regular stop and a brew youre hooked on is not being served that day, but there is usually something new for you to enjoy.

Best cappuccino Ive had in the USA. I go there and get a single cappuccino and a raspberry bar every chance I get! The barista in charge always knows a lot about the beans. They offer a hot biscuits with egg option on weekends, which is delicious as well!

Friendly staff and chill atmosphere. They have a decent selection of coffee gear, I was glad I could pick up some chemex filters. They have a really cool coffee bar with a large selection of coffee beans. You can can open each container to take a whif of the fresh beans. I opted for one of their Ethiopian beans. I wish they came to Raleigh!
