Had an iPhone with a bad battery and so I took it up here and after two days I had to call up and ask if it had been completed yet. Within a month the phone died. Plugged it in one day and the phone got hot and started sizzling and never turned on a again. Took it to Apple and they said the battery was defective and they did not seal the screen to the case and allowed for condensation to build up. Will never use them again. They took no responsibility for their actions and told me to move along.

Got in with a cracked Pixel 2. I was honestly advised about the cost of the repair on an outdated phone like mine, which was very nice. Left the phone there and returned after receiving automated feed-back about the work progress. Nice feature. During the whole interaction I found the two guys there to be courteous, direct, informative. A pleasure to interact with them. Will be back with all my repair needs. Highly recommended.

Brought my PlayStation in to get looked at. I called the day after estimate date and they told me they were waiting on a piece that was on back order. Due to covid I understood how things where taking longer with deliver etc. So I waited for them to call me and I never received a call. Finally did a chat with someone in support and she said that a person from store was going to call me, never happened. Finally was able to make it to the store location to see what was going on to be told they threw away the PlayStation due to it being abandoned. ABANDONED!! you should do better with communicating with customers.

3 stars is generous given my experience but they did fix my phone eventually. I went in with a very small crack in my screen that was only a cosmetic issue. After 4 hours I returned to find out they could not fix my screen because of a strange diagnostic issue.they had to put my phone back together and they hand it to me at closing with the touch not functioning! Day 2 I brought it back at opening and got it back at 6 hours later fixed and working. Carl had to spend all day getting an exception from samsung to fix my screen which is ridiculous considering thats what they do, fix things. Im lucky he got this exception for me because if he didnt he would have left with me a broken phone. A simple screen replacement became a 2 day stressful ordeal, the experience was unfortunate but they did eventually fix the problem

They needed my password and I had to rely/trust them with access to everything on the phone. It was very dumb of me not to wipe the phone first.Apple needs to allow what they need without me having to reset passwords, credit cards to hundreds of apps. (Of course most stuff has already been hacked and Im just paranoid.)They looked very trustworthy.

They were late to Arrive to the store and then had me stand-outside so they could open the store. Then told me they couldn’t do the repair and that I would have to go to wake forest for the repair.

Do not, Do not, Do not get your phone screen fixed here. My phone screen was replaced 1 month ago for $300. Two days ago I was texting my wife and the screen cracks as Im texting. The screen cracked in my hands. They will not replace it. Its physical damage and not covered under warranty is what I was told. Therefore, there is no warranty worth even speaking of. I will never use their service again, and I suggest you run away, and not even consider them fixing your phone. Do not waste your time or money. Zero customer service, zero care about customer satisfaction. Another trash company that just prints money and weezles their way out of any responsibility for using sub-par replacement parts. I dont care what they say they use, their parts are trash and you will regret it.

They repaired my new Galaxy phone but there was confusion regarding my warranty. My phone was less than 6 months old when the screen went black. It was diagnosed with needed a new crystal screen. Ubreakifix told me it was going to cost me over $300. Prior to this conversation I spoke to Samsung who referred me to UbreakiFix and said it would be repaired under the maufacture warrenty. All that being said., it was repaired after two days. The repair was excellent

After a year and half my iPhone XR screen got scored by my keys, then cracked. Service was helpful and prompt, however the replacement glass is definitely not equivalent to the original. After the replacement, typing on the screen is different...and its responding to all sorts of gestures that Ive never done before. However, worst of all, the new glass broke within 10 days....there is a screen protector and case on this thing and it still broke. At least the screen protector is holding things together a bit.Update: contacted the help (as requested), they created a ticket and someone was supposed to call me back within a week. at that point, the phone was essentially unusable because the screen was detecting touch and gesture that wasnt there. They were not going to refund my money so i just went and got a new screen from the Apple Store and its back working great again. I should have just gone to Apple in the first place.

Not a fan. I dropped my Barnes and Noble Nook and cracked the screen. I looked online and their website let me choose barnes and noble nook from their options and said they do screen replacement. So I tried to call got no answer. It said they accept walk-ins so I thought no problem Ill just drive over during my lunch break. I walk in only to be told no we dont work on that. Get your website right and answer your phone so I dont waste my time.

My husband and I filed a claim through Asurion multiple times to fix my phone. Each time the associate we spoke with at Asurion confirmed the claim had been submitted and sent to this location. I logged into my account to double check and there was conformation our claim had been submitted and that we had up to 10 days to bring it in to be fixed. Each time we got to the store we were simply told were not in the system. There was no offer to call Asurion to check. With my broken phone in their hand, they told me to call back Asurion each time we visited. We even printed off the claim confirmation to show them and they just shrugged and didnt offer any additional assistance. Weve been to this location before for repairs and previous repairs were great, but Im frustrated at their unwillingness to try anything other than saying, We cant do anything.

Very unprofessional experience with the manager Carl. I called in the morning to ask about the price and turnaround time for a screen repair. The time I was told was 3 hours. I called at 4 hours to ask if the phone was ready and they told me they were running behind and to come in 45 minutes. I came an hour later and waited an additional 30 minutes. Was not offered any compensation for my time nor even an apology. Have had great experiences at other ubif locations but this is one to avoid.

They do a good job and with very good prices.

Had a friendly experience during my visit, though my issue was not resolved. Even though, there was no hardware defect determined, because it may have been software based, no action could be done. So, friendly visit was experienced but the lack of going further is the reason for the medium recommendation.

They make 6pm appointments, but when you arrive at 6:00 p.m. they tell you it is a 2-hour job at a minimum and therefore they wont be able to finish it that day. Very unprofessional.Update: Had used system on uBreakIFix website to request repair and it suggested and set 6pm appointment. Drove from uBreak to a store in Chapel Hill that fixed it in 30 minutes.

The price of labor is too costly… Why would an LED screen to be fixed cost $247.99? Their protocol for texting instead of calling seems unprofessional and impersonal to me. I placed an order and paid my deposit on one day, check the website to see where they were in the process of fixing my laptop and found that it was still now ordered, the piece that was needed… I called up the follow up and they said that they did not place the order as I did not approve it. If I paid for it and spoke with a representative, wouldn’t that be considered approval? The person who took my order, obviously was under the influence of a mind altering substance of some sort… Plus he was inappropriate with the client who appeared before me, get her personal number and talking about things not pertaining to the business at hand. The job done looks adequate… But I know I could’ve got it done cheaper now and I would never utilize this company again based on the service I received.

Within a day of dropping off a friends iPhone for evaluation, they deemed it was not worth repairing; same with my S8- and I was given very helpful advice on replacing the S8 by the gentleman at the counter.Incredibly helpful and courteous, would not take any money for the diagnostics when I insisted. There need to be more businesses like these guys, honesty goes a long way.

So back in April I had brought my iPhone 7 Plus I’m to get the screen and charger port fixed and once they did that they had called me saying nothing is happening so they put a new battery in and said it wouldn’t go past the apple logo and asked if I wanted to send the phone off, well that has already costed me almost $200 for those three things and I realized I should just get a new phone at that point. So I told them don’t send it off and when my aunt went to pick it up she wasn’t looking at the phone or anything to see if everything was in tacked, so when I got the phone I go to look at the bottom where the charger port should be and there is NOTHING BUT A BLACK SLOT THERE AND MY SCREWS ARE NOT IN THE PHONE WHICH IS MAKING THE SCREEN POP OUT. I no longer use the phone but I would love to know why they robbed me out of a “broken” charger port and my screws....

I had my screen and battery fixed a year ago on an iPhone 8 Plus. What they didn’t tell me is the screens they use are aftermarket. Completely changed the color and sensitivity of my device. A drop from my office chain onto carpet, it is shattered. Nothing compared to the original screens. Also, the battery, that they claim is from Apple shuts my phone off at 25% and can’t hold a charge.

Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Since they are part of Samsung Care, they were able to repair my phone free of charge since it was covered by Samsung manufacturer warranty. (Also much more quickly than shipping to Samsung)

Just left ubreakifix on Renaissance Drive. Carl was spectacular! This was a tricky one as phone would show charging when shut off - but actually wasnt. After jumping through a variety of hoops with Verizon, a visiting New Hope (tested and told my phone wouldnt charge wirelessly either) and going through phone assistance, doing a system wash, etc a warranty fix was arranged with ubreakifix. Carl identified right away that there was gunk imbedded in the port (I had cleaned with toothpick earlier and connection didnt feel impeded). Carl gave the port a thorough cleaning and handed me back my phone ten minutes later - fully working. It remains a mystery why the charging battery would appear when phone was off and connected or why the wireless charging came back as not working, but the short of it all is my phone charges again - all thanks to Carl. If I had gone to him first, I wouldve saved my self a half day of stress - and not cleared out all my data. Thank you, Carl.

While the first diagnosis of the problem was not fully investigated, and I had to wait for a week for a part to be ordered that did not exist in its own, the end result worked out. The techs were honest about the actual problem and did not do any work that did not need to be done. They thought the screen would have to be replaced because the power & volume buttons that were malfunctioning are integrated into the screen. However, it was just loose connections. They fixed the connections and did not charge me since they said they should have done a more thorough diagnostic the first time. Very nice people. Easy to work with. Explain the problem and what they did to fix it clearly.

I brought my phone here because it was where my warrantee was covered. They had my phone ready within the promised time and they were polite and I had not issues with the repair. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Fixed my phone fast and well. The workers there at the time were Nick and Joe. My phone now works great and I highly recommend this location.

This was my first experience with this kind of service and I was very disappointed. I needed a battery swapped on a cell phone. I made what I thought was an appointment for 10:00 a.m. when the business opened. When I gave them the phone I was given a two hour estimated time for repair. I went back at noon and was told that my repair had not yet begun as phones that were dropped off the night before had priority. This made no sense since that same information was available when I was given the two hour estimate earlier that morning. Had to be at work early that afternoon and could not continue to wait. Two hours of time wasted with nothing but a sorry. UPDATE: Owners response did not address my complaint. They should not tell you an estimated wait time they have no capability of meeting.

Carl helped me after I walked in 20 minutes before closing on Saturday evening. He was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He fixed my iphone very quickly and at the best price.

I came in today with an old Game Boy cartridge and a save battery to put in it, and not only were the staff knowledgeable and engaged in their work, they helped me get the game open and the battery put in without even charging me anything. Im definitely coming back when I need something fixed! Id especially like to mention Bob and Steve - the folks here are super helpful and you should give them a try!

LOVE these guys - knowledgeable, polite, professional, and patient. I was nervous about getting my note 8 screen replaced. 1st time having a device replacing a curved glass screen, and 1st time not personally fixing my phone screen. Back in the day when I rocked the iPhone 5c it was simple. Now, I wouldnt dare touch that kind of repair w/out tools and training. These guys obviously have both, and Imsuper impressed with their technical skills and customer service. My phone was repaired in just over an hour and full diagnostic testing. Havent had a single issue since this March replacement.

I needed to fix my screen ASAP and the service here was AMAZING. I got referred to them by T-Mobile employee - best choice. They fixed my phone within two hours and the price was great. I highly recommend this place if you or anyone you know needs a screen replacement!!

How can you justify $269 for a simple screen replacement that takes about an hour to do and the parts are under $20??

**Disclaimer** - I didnt even have my phone fixed.I brought the phone in on Monday the 30th, and was told the diagnosis would be completed by the 31st (fair enough, they told me they were super busy but assured me it would be completed the next day). I never received a phone call or status update, so I called late on the 31st only to be told that they hadnt gotten to it yet and would be closed on January 1st so they would get to it first thing on Thursday the 2nd. Again, no update on Thursday so I had to call late in the afternoon, they werent finished with it yet, and told me they would call me back when the diagnosis was finished. They called later that evening only to inform me that they still didnt really know what was wrong but suspected it was the display. They wanted to fix the display for $280 in the hopes that this would fix the issue and all would be well. In the event that it didnt fix the issue, they would install the old display back on the phone and give it back to me. So I essentially waited four days for them to not even verify what the issue even was, and at this point it would have taken an additional day to even have the display fixed in the hopes that it would resolve the initial problem.It felt to me that they essentially wasted all of that time diagnosing the phone. They werent able to communicate any clear procedures that they went through during the diagnosis phase to narrow down why they actually thought it was the display. I had a previous crack in the screen that happened 6+ months prior to this issue, and they suspected it could have been caused by this - but they mentioned this the second I brought the phone in, so why waste the next four days only to have the same conclusion? At the end of all that, they quoted $280 to fix the display, but I wasnt willing to shell out $300 dollars post-tax to potentially fix the phone. I honestly feel that they could have saved me the 4 days without a phone by simply taking 5 minutes to look at the phone the day I brought it in, as it truly didnt seem like they spent any appreciable time diagnosing it once they finally did get to it.I wont fault the shop for the price to fix, as $280 seems fairly standard for a Pixel 3 XL, but I will fault them for their lack of urgency, lack of communication, and seemingly pointless diagnosis of the phone. Being without a phone for 4 full days - and even longer if I had accepted the repair - is extremely frustrating, even more so when the store doesnt seem to utilize that time in a meaningful way.

Needed my Note 8 fixed after I dropped it getting out of my truck. Had a case on it but that didnt help when it went face down. Anyway I cant work without my phone, so found these guys had the cheapest price after calling around. In and out in under 2 hours, back to work. Thanks guys for doing a great job, works like new. I came to this store with a bricked device that I thought would require a battery replacement. Unfortunately, the issue was more complicated than this, but the two highly-knowledgeable technicians, Connor and Jasper, patiently communicated and explained all possible replacement options, as well as the pros and cons of each option. This location with its two amazing technicians are highly recommended!

I have had an extremely frustrating time trying to get my cracked screen fixed here through a claim from my phone insurance. I first visited yesterday evening around 5 and was denied service because the wait was too long because there was only one technician working. I asked if I could schedule an appointment and was told it was only first come first serve(which now seeing other reviews it looks like maybe they do offer appointments). Then I called ahead today to see if they could accommodate me and was asked the type of phone I had and assured they could fix it today. I arrived 20 minutes or so later and was told the Samsung system was down and had been so for an hour and a half. After expressing my frustration I was then told it was only 30 min ago. I was offer nothing more than an apology as resolution.

This place is the best for pixel phones. I had the strangest problems with the sound on the phone, sometimes the speaker wouldnt work, sometimes people could not hear me. They are partners for pixel repairs, and they knew of a fix that was covered by the warranty, even though the phone is over a year old. Phone back working like new. Everywhere else I called they said I had to get a new phone.

Paul and Bob were great caretakers and repairers of my iPad. The process was complicated but they explained the process thoroughly and were also friendly throughout the process. Replaced my charging port for an extremely reasonable price and then when my screen developed problems with ghost touching afterward (no fault of the store, but due to the nature of repairing the charging port and the delicate nature of the interior components) they fully replaced my screen at no cost to me since they determined the screen had been damaged during the repair.Overall, an extremely satisfactory experience and I recommend this store very highly. Skilled technicians, great customer service, and a dedication to seeing that the job is done to completion and full satisfaction.

1st visit took in my phone thinking I needed a new battery. Jasper took it to the back to run test, came back and found no issue with the battery, may need to do a factory reset. Didnt try to push a sale on me. The factory reset fixed my short battery life. 2nd visit today, saw Robin, had a cracked screen, she took the screen protector off and found it was the problem. Put on a new one and I was on my way. Both times great customer service. They do great work and I highly recommend going there for any phone issues. Because they fixed it during diagnostics, they didnt charge me a dime. Not located in the mall, but in the same shopping center as Target, Platos Closet (actually next door), and Michaels - the staff here were professional and courteous, and had my iPhone 6s screen repaired in under 2 hours with no hassle whatsoever. Everything looks and works great, and they even made sure to clean the phone so it looks like new! Would certainly go here again if I needed something fixed.

Paul is amazing! I brought in my Nintendo Switch, which I had dropped earlier in the morning while moving the docking station and one of the Joy Cons snapped off from the rest of the device. He was able to disconnect the part with the ZL and ZR buttons, unscrew the main part with the battery, reconnect everything, and seal it back up with a touch of gorilla glue. I was able to get my Switch back within the hour all while he was training someone and working with another customer. Stellar customer experience! Thanks so much! 😀

Very convenient way to get my iPhone 7 fixed thru insurance with Verizon. Verizon helped me create a claim, went over to ubreakifix, and it was fixed in an hour. So much better than sending off my phone

Using my insurance wouldve cost $275+tax and wouldve forced me to swap to a new phone because they send a new phone instead of repair your old one, and shipping would have taken 1-2 days. Whereas UBREAKIFIX was only $269.99+tax and I got to keep my phone with all of my files and it only took 2 hours.

Went to this location because my headphone jack was acting up. I wasnt able to play music using headphones or an aux code without having to jam the cord in to the port. Eventually the cord would just pop out. I attempted to clean on my own but didnt work. Brought it in and spoke with Jasper. Was seen and gone in about 7 or 8 minutes. Headphones in as we speak. I recommend these guys all day every day.

Last weekend I made the ultimate mistake and dropped my laptop on the floor...twice, as I fumbled it like a football when I attempted to pick it up from the floor. The laptop keyboard popped out and became detached from the laptop. As a result of the drop, the laptop would not turn on. It was dead. I called UBreakiFix and had a brief conversation with Conner who gave me hope that he could repair it. I took it in, left it there, and 30 minutes later received a call from Connor that he had taken care of the problem. Connor has great integrity and proved that he knows his stuff! I was pleased with his work, and just today, sent my brother there to have a virus removed from his granddaughters laptop.
