I worked with Mel at USA Flooring on installation of sheet vinyl and carpet for an investment property that I was working on. Mel was very helpful and understanding of my needs. He was very helpful in choosing products that were within my clients budget, and also that were in stock, since we were working under a short time-line. Installation was quick and smooth. I will definitely be using USA Flooring again, and would highly recommend!

I went to USA flooring on Labor Day looking to have carpet installed. They still had my information from 8 years ago and were able to help me make the best decision for my situation. In a time where everything is backed up, they had my carpet installed the following Monday! I worked with Stephanie and she was awesome! Definitely recommend using them!

We chose USA Flooring to install engineered hardwood throughout our townhomes lower level (living area, kitchen, half bathroom, and laundry room) and had a wonderful experience. The team sent to do the install was kind, hardworking and did a fabulous job. We also had them install new carpet in a bedroom a year ago and are still happy with the outcome. USA flooring is great. Scott was very easy to work with. They had great prices and the installers did excellent work in the house. A seam started to separate a few months in and Scott had someone come out next day and repair it. I defintley would use them again.

Drew Propes at USA Flooring in Durham NC did an excellent job designing and managing the new floor installation in my 2,000+ ft. house -- and the price was very reasonable. Drew met with us, educated us on the various options, helped us debate pros and cons, and then managed the process from start to finish. The material was ordered quickly and the installation was completed in two days by a professional, courteous and efficient installation team led by Jesus. The installation included removal and disposal of 20 year-old wall-to-wall carpet. What a difference!! Thank you Drew and USA Flooring, A++ for planning, execution and professionalism.

We just had the pleasure of working, start to finish, with USA Flooring. Mel came by to measure the rooms we wanted to have done, 2 carpeted to rip up and one not, to replace with luxury vinyl flooring. It was fascinating to watch him sketch the layout of the downstairs. The workers for both the carpeting and flooring were fabulous. The floor was sanded down to every corner and to a detail of perfection I was not expecting. They removed every last wet spot or discoloration in the floor and their carpentry in replacing bad boards was outstanding. Honestly, you will not go wrong hiring USA flooring!!! They also were so helpful and patient with us walking on the floor and getting important items out for our two nights of not walking on floor. When the guys came back to buff, and it seemed like the floors were dry to me, they decided to wait a few more hours.. in other words they cared about their workmanship even knowing we were just fixing the floors to sell the house. Really impressed with USA Flooring and Mel our rep. Was thorough in selection but quick, and kept us focused on good solutions. Didnt really compare, but price seemed reasonable. Installers did a beautiful job. One star removed b/c installers had no context on what was being installed where, and communication was a challenge.

The work by Martin and his crew was exceptionally professional. With Paul Lewis assistance, the flooring was transformative of our basement living areas, which have become a place to proudly show & entertain. We have used big box carpet installers before and they have so many layers of people, teams. and automated phone systems that create delays and extreme difficulty to speak to someone who will actually do the job. We needed binding for stair runners and the hard working, very professional team, from USA Flooring completed that for us onsite with the installation. It was as easy as a large carpeting job can be. USA flooring did a great job installing LVP floors throughout our home. There were some issues after that they were quick to correct. I was happy with their attentiveness and communication about what was happening and scheduling. Id definitely recommend them or use them again for future flooring needs.

Didn’t show up on time our furniture had to stay outside for two days they left Huge gaps on all door frames and threshold come up they left trash in my yard and nails in my driveway! No has come to fix the problems or called me back to resolve any of these concerns!

The gentlemen at the store were very helpful and were able to help me get the small amount of carpet padding that I needed! We contacted USA Flooring to replace the vinyl in our kitchen. There were some initial communication challenges, due to their phone system being down, but they were able to get the job done in under a week from time we selected the flooring to install. The flooring looks wonderful. Installation guys did a great job- attentive to detail and courteous!

Travis was great to work with from beginning to end. I had wood floors put in through out the house (approx. 1000sq ft) except for the full bath which was tiled (by USA). Also.....installed, sanded, stained and finished a new staircase. All workers did a great job! ...........when the finish on the stairs was not exactly what I wanted, Travis arranged to have them re-done to my satisfaction (over the Thanksgiving weekend!!)

We looked around a few different places before going to USA Flooring. From the moment we walked into this store we felt welcomed and all the staff were very helpful. We were able to take many samples home to see what we liked in our home. After making a decision we called the office and spoke with Janet, whom has been helping us all along. We set up a date for the carpet installation. Our carpet was installed about 2 weeks ago and the whole process was very easy. They offer a same as cash program in order to gradually pay for the materials/installation. If we ever have a need for other flooring installation or anyone ask we will always recommend USA Flooring.

Just another affirmation of previous reviews saying how helpful Travis and Stuart were throughout the flooring process. They spent many hours talking to us about flooring, lending us large sized samples to look at in our home, and finding us the best deal on the materials. I cant speak highly enough about Marcus and his team. We were in a time crunch with remodeling our house and USA flooring saved the day. We went into their showroom on a Saturday and by the next Saturday they had all the flooring in my 1800 sq ft house installed. Everyone that we encountered at USA flooring was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!

We needed a quick turn around before we listed our house for sale on new vinyl flooring. They did an amazing job providing quick ordering with awesome prices well below competitors. Their installation crew was very curteous and worked quickly. When we had to have some shoe molding replaced due to a crack, they immediately sent someone out to repair it and even replaced surrounding molding to make sure it matched exactly. I would absolutely recommend them!

I had a wonderful experience with USA Flooring and recommend them highly. Stuart (operations manager) was very knowledgeable and helpful as I narrowed down my choices. The flooring arrived quickly and the installers did a fine job laying the LVT, and when there was a problem with the sealant, Stuart and his crew worked hard to make it right. I was very impressed with their work ethic and responsiveness and can honestly say that USA Flooring in Durham values its customers.

Update (12/18/15)I learned that the problems I experienced getting someone to fix the problem was due turnover and the need for everyone to be trained. Thus, my communications with various folks were falling through the cracks. I have been assured that the issues have since been resolved via training.----------The installation was great; the follow-up to fix a problem has been the worst. I have called every week for 6 weeks to ask them to send someone to fix a problem with the installation (the master bathroom door wont close due to the transition piece they installed, so about 1/4 inch needs to be planed from the bottom of the door). I have had 3 times given to me when someone would be here, but no one showed up and I received no phone call either before or after the missed time. When I talk to someone at the store, they tell me every time that the installer will call me to set up a time (if they dont give me a time), and never have I received a call from an installer. They should know to always check that a door closes all the way when they put in a transition piece. Had they done this, they would have realized it during the installation. Im very disappointed with their non-responsiveness and this is for a fully warranted installation, at least thats what I paid for. I will continue to call them every week until this is fixed. It will take someone 15-20 minutes to fix it with most of the time spent removing and rehanging the door.

I so amazed with the customer service ..the frist minute I walked in I was greeted by David I told him about my Situation with lowes he right away bring me to stock room and shows me all the carpets they had available that day . but unfortunately we didnt find anything we like at the back stock so we decided to look around and see what they had to offer at front ..David was helping us to find what we need ..he was amazing. He told us that the carpet we order will arrive on Wednesday 3/20 but today 3/18 my husband got a call from them and said that our carpet has arrived .WOW!!!!!!!!it only take them less then 3 days to get our carpet in . I highly recommend USA flooring. We will definitely use them again.

Friendly and helpful. They had a number of options for our stair runners (we didnt want the standard oriental looking runners). They very quickly came to measure, and the installer was fast, neat and courteous. The price seemed very competitive to comparisons I made on the internet. Overall very fast, easy, affordable - and we are more than happy with the result.

USA Flooring installed a runner on our stairs, but somehow managed to install the completely WRONG carpet color. Hard to believe this could happen! We requested reimbursement and were denied. As a second point of frustration, the installers were 8 hours late. Parts of the runner were not straight. The entire thing was a disaster. Clearly we will be choosing another flooring provider for our next home flooring project. I do not recommend.

After a flooring fiasco with Lowes, I needed flooring ASAP! USA Flooring in Durham had a wonderful and helpful staff (Travis is awesome!) that was able to meet my flooring needs in the necessary time frame (within three days). They have a wide selection of products in stock and able to be ordered at a reasonable price. Installers were friendly and worked diligently to install my floors and worked to rectify any imperfections. Great experience overall! Id choose them again!

This company has a nice selection of flooring. I used them to install carpet in 3 bedrooms, a bonus, and on the stairs/hallway. They did a nice job overall. The carpet on one stair was installed off-center (it is a pattern carpet). It was a bit of a challenge to get the installers to show up to fix the problem (twice they scheduled and never showed), but once we got the manager David involved, that didnt happen again. David worked with us to get the best installer to fixed the problem. I recommend working directly with David.

I had been left struggling after an issue with a different tile company, such that I had no flooring in any of my bathrooms, and the installer had left me with a possible install date in 3 weeks. I contacted USA Flooring in Durham, had an estimate done and the installation finished 9 days later. That was after Travis walked me through a lot of details at the storeroom of which the other company hadnt bothered to inform me. I was informed throughout the entire process, kept up to date, there was no pressuring into extra materials and the price was very reasonable.

The team from USA Flooring did a wonderful job installing new carpeting in my home. The carpeting looks fabulous and the team was very responsible, taking care of my furniture as they moved it to install the carpet and replaced it when the installment was completed.

Recently USA Flooring laid new carpet for us. Finding the right color was difficult until Travis came into the picture; he found one that is perfect for our room. The carpet came quickly as did his workmen. They could not have done a better job of laying and cleaning up. The men were delightful to work with, and they even gave me advice on how to clean my wallpaper stains. I tried their method and it worked so well I do not need to buy new wallpaper! They are only getting one star because of their selection. I read the previous reviews and spoke with them about their Yelp poor reviews and they claimed their google reviews were better. Clearly they deserve the poor reviews. They did an ok job at best but the seam at one door was poor. They canceled last minute on the repair, after we had left work to meet them. Then they were over an hour late the next time, even though they promised to come first thing and be there by 9:30. Disrespectful of the clients time. I strongly do not recommend using them as with most other reviewers.

My wife and I went into the store and picked out our carpet on Thursday. I felt like we got a great deal at $1.39 per sq foot and a good price on the pad. They surprised us by being able to come out the next day and install the carpet. It was a surprise because we had just wasted two weeks getting the run around from Lowes (we cancelled our order with them). The installer did a great job and cleaned up after himself. Being that I renovate houses for a living, I will be a repeat customer!

Excellent service from Jason Lambert and Marcus Veasey. They took their time, answered all my questions and found exactly the product I wanted. Very patient, friendly and helpful service.

Our original representative, Josh, was awesome and we were excited about new carpet and a cortec floor. It ends up Josh left the business and our order got lost. When we were scheduled I took off work to be home for the installation, only to be called the morning of and told the products were not in. When the products came in there were two guys who in one day, performed about a two day job. It was rushed and the quality of the install was compromised. They replaced oak shoe molding in one area with large white molding, and the thresholds did not match the transition. The rep said they would return and make corrections but there has been no response in over two months. The quality of the products was good and price competitive, but logistics and quality control of poor. Would not use again. The only reason I gave two stars is because of the product/price, not service service and install.

Consistent snarky attitude and sarcasm from customer representative, as it appeared they didnt have much time to spend talking/selling me the carpet I was there for. Decided to go with Sherwin Williams, paid a better price and dealt with absolutely no attitude from them. Will not return to USA Flooring and do not recommend this company to anyone.

Product install was sub-par. Poor quality equipment plagued the installers. They could not cut 45 degree angles. The saw they had was a worn out version of the saw I have. I offered to let them use my saw, but that was not accepted. Additionally they complained that as sub-contractors, USA flooring had not paid them to do a complete job. Its been a month since the install was completed but we are still waiting for the fireplace surround, a threshold and a door to be fixed. The work they did on the quarter-rounds was miserable. They still have work to complete on those as well. Again, the constant complaints from the installers that USA flooring has did not pay them to complete the job is not encouraging.Still waiting on Jason from USA flooring to get the issues corrected. One month and counting.-

From the word go Steven Brown at USA flooring in Durham did an outstanding job for my wife and I. We added an addition on to our house and Steven came measured gave us some great ideas then gave us a great product than a great price. OUTSTANDING . One week later Brandon and Paul came to install our new carpet and vynal it was done.These guys worked right thru the weekend. Outstanding JOB. Very Professional. We love it. I had USA Flooring, Durham, replace cracked ceramic tile with Armstrong Alterna; shortly after that I had them install Cortec Plus in my lliving room and bedroom. I was very pelased with both jobs. They have great prices, and are really helpful to work with when trying to make decisions. The installation crews they sent out were great and did an excellent job. I would recommend any of my friends to this store for their flooring needs, and plan to have them replace my bathroom floors when I get to that project.
