Big Target with good selection. Ample parking. Self checkout works smoothly. Prefer going in the evening when it’s not as crowded. Groceries are great.One star off because, like other Targets, it is pricier than its equivalents. More expensive than Walmart for everything, granting a few areas of higher quality items (men’s apparel, in my opinion). And more expensive than Harris teeter, Sam’s club and other grocery store chains within a one mile radius.I go here when I’m in a pinch for a few items knowing there won’t be a long line, prices will be doable if not ideal, and when other stores may have already closed.

This location is one of the worst Ive ever been to. Ever since the redesign, the customer shopping experience has deteriorated. From the layout change that was a combination of jarring and confusing, after having shopped there for years, to the fact that they restock in the middle of the day.Not only Are they in the way of shoppers while theyre restocking, there are pallets and hand trucks everywhere blocking aisles. The shelves look a mess and certainly not full, as there are boxes waiting to be stocked all over the store.But when you look in different sections such as the kitchen section or the bath section where the towels are just all over the place. It makes everything look cluttered and in a constant state of disarray.Honestly, it makes me not want to shop there. I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to go to another location for a better experience.Having worked in retail I have experienced opinions and it simply seems like they dont care. From management down to floor staff, the way this store is run is doing nothing but making the brand look bad.I guess some people have lower expectations or simply overlook it because they need to shop there, but I dont want to feel like Im shopping at a Walmart in a Target. Its just ridiculous.Do better.

Returned an item today and the woman at the register could not brother to say hello or have a good day. At least some of the staff are rude as hell. This is exactly why I shop online….so I have as little human interaction as possible with some retail workers.

I love Target. But the SW Durham store is A MESS!!! I stopped shopping many years ago at Walmart because it was always a disaster. Well, Target is now looking the same. Im super disappointed. Clothes everywhere, shoes thrown all over the place. Shelves not fully stocked and team members close to running you over with the stock. Its a mess. My enjoyment and love for shopping at this store is quickly declining. I hope that things will improve. For now, I may skip Target and simply shop amazon.

Had an absolutely horrible trip to target tonight aug 16th. There was a large college sale going on. Understandably the staff was stressed and stretched thin. However, there was no manager on the floor ensuring that people and employees knew what was going. Employees were sending customers to registers that were supposed to be open (and no one ever opened), equipment was malfunctioning, and even when a manager was asked for, one could not be found. Truly disappointed. The one highlight was the young woman who stayed late to check me out. She was polite, calm, kind, and understanding. She apologized for everything going on and took two customers after me after telling me she was supposed to be closed. Management, Hanna deserves a raise, a promotion, and an award. Hanna, if by some chance you see this, please please reach out. I have a job for you!

Target has a very friendly atmosphere to spend all your money while having fun shopping. Target had the presence of a small town Mall for ALL

This place has to be the poorest managed Target. Never cashiers always waiting Maybe this is target not. Dirty. No joke. Just obviously poorly managed.

I asked an associate a question and she was very, very friendly. She even gave the aisle number where I could find the product I was looking for. She was so very nice and friendly!

The store is usually well stocked and prices are competitive with Walmart. I prefer Target so competitive prices are important to me. The store is spacious thus giving the shopper fairly easy aisles to negotiate. During his particular visit it was difficult finding someone to assist me in finding the main item I went to the store for. It was a crowded at the checkout counters so another cashier would have been good. In spite of this shopping wrinkle, my shopping experience was OK.

I like this target because it is big and bright and I can go for a walk in here when I am depressed. The lines can get long would be my only complaint. I also enjoy the toy section. My husband and I like to look at toys and remember when we were kids. All the toys these days are throwbacks to the 80s and 90s LOL. It’s nice to have a safe place to go when you are bored.

This has happened at multiple locations, but I feel that Target needs to update their online website to reflect what is actually in stock at the store. I look up an item to see if it is in stock before driving to the store so not to waste my time or gas. Online it says they have multiple in stock and low and behold when I get there they have none. It is very frustrating.

I had to get a new Sim card for my phone and the technician, Will, was extremely helpful in getting my phone to work. He was friendly and professional - and persistent in taking care of my issue.

Fantastic staff. Friendly and helpful, both at register and in the frozen section. They stopped stocking to help me find the 1 thing I wanted, the advent wine calendar that I needed for a gift. My past experiences with Target had been horrible to the point of not shopping at Target, but Durham Target has turned it around. I will be back!! Thank you.

Hard to enjoy baby shopping when most of the travel systems are tacked to the wall or not assembled correctly. Just go to another target if you want to try out their strollers. The point of these frustrating new setups is so that you can try before buying, but not here!!

They have a better $1 section than at the Renaissance Parkway target store. I love going to target for clothes, candy, and their brand of ice cream. Check out Target s’more‘s ice cream and also their birthday cake. Good prices and quality products. Self check out is always fast moving, so I can go in and grab what I want and be out without spending a lot of time. Although I spend a lot of time because I like to look at their inventory. I like the products and groceries that Target offers and their prices as well.

The target has a lot of selection.But I mainly do the car pick up service. I live literally like 2 min. away and was told to give them “more” of a notice… yet the app doesn’t say give them a CERTAIN amount of time. It just says “tell us when your in the way” and now I am waiting 6+ min for someone to walk in mmmmh order out. Not to mention they never listen to where I want my order placed. I always ask for it in the passenger seat so I can check before I leave…Very disappointedAlso July 4(today) the lady just opened the trunk, I didn’t even know she was here and started to unload my stuff and didnt even ask for my code… I don’t appreciate that.

The restrooms made me feel like I was at Walmart. No tissue on the rolls but all over the floors. One faucet not working other sink had paper towels in it because the garbage cans were full. I expected it to look better than that being, that everyone is supposed to be improving their cleanliness in the stores.

Orders are quick, accurate and customer service is great at pickup.

Used to shop here regularly, as the first choice, in 2006-2012 - returned back after being away for ~6 years and, as somebody commented below, the store is not as nice as in the past. Store became dark and messy, variety went down, where are the Archer Farms offers, where is that focaccia to live for? I dont wish them to close, but they are detectably worse, than 9 years ago...

I look forward to every Target run because of Good and Gather, the employees, self checkout, and Starbucks. I appreciate Target for being my go to store. I never encountered an error, they never let me down.

Do not do the order online and do drive up/curbside here. I was missing 14 of my 27 items. My items were placed in my trunk. Drove home, realized it, then had to drive back and go into the store. Trying to find someone responsible and professional in that store to fulfill my whole order that I was charged for (and supposedly placed in my trunk) was difficult. I had to call my husband to come wait in the store with me because the employees made me feel uncomfortable and people were staring as I argued about which items I needed. Ultimately had to call the 1-800 customer service phone number after in order to get refunded on my missing items. I ended up with some doubled and some missing and hushed out of the store as that was supposed to be good enough.Side note...as I waited in the store for the employees to figure out where my stuff was there were more people in line coming up to the register with bags of items that were wrong - given to them in their drive up online order. So it was not just me...

Dont know what is besetting Target. Staff told me they no longer have overnight staffing, so at 10 AM many shelves were empty, including basic flour. In the dairy department, I had to find a staff member who check for me to see if what I wanted was in stock--it wasnt--and the shelves in the dairy cooler were probably 50% empty. No his fault, but it took another 5-7 minutes to ascertain that my item was not in stock. In the produce department, many items did not have prices posted. I have to wonder about the companys future.

Decent prices. PLUS, have Jurassic World/Park stuff, a little weak on Godzilla collectibles, but, theres a thing or two here and there. Close to the house.

Called multiple times and no one would answer the one time my call was answered they just hung up on me and were no help. Tried ordering something and instead of helping me and letting me know if my order would actually be processed they would not tell me anything and after 2 hours of my wasted time my order was canceled and suddenly the item was no longer in stock.

Super Target is awesome place to shop...get groceries, socks, pet supplies, toys and pick up a prescription all in one stop. Deli, bakery, full service pharmacy, Optical dept, Minute Clinic inside store, food court with Starbucks. Along with everything else youd find in a Target mens, womens and childrens clothes, toys, electronics, home & garden goods health & beauty, house wares groceries, fresh produce, flowers , etc. Self Check out service or regular checkout and unlike a unmentioned store chain they actually have more than three registers open on a Saturday afternoon, lol. Clean, always in stock, helpful friendly staff, love this Super Target! Free parking, restrooms and wheel chair accessible, motorized carts as well the restrooms. Located in South Square shopping center

Often items are out of stock. Lines are long, few registers have cashiers or are open. New layout of the store last year is far less shopper friendly. The store allows for less inventory and selection, plus selection is not dependable. The deli prep staff are polite, helpful and friendly though.

“Supercenter” …only one checkout lane

Fast response. Easy to pick up. Couldve had it delivered to my car but the weather was awful and I didnt want someone to have to come to me.

Less and less, Im not able to find the things I go to Target to buy. The clothes selection is lackluster. Half the time Target is out of the grooming items I go to buy. Today, 1/2 of the frozen foods section was empty. My trip to the store was to purchase an eye dropper......couldnt find one.

When picking your online order; make sure the item(s) have all the pieces before leaving the store. I bought the 3in1 coat it was missing the full inside part. The Associate bagged and handed me 1 part of the 3in1 coat. Very disappointing, especially since it was the last one in that size.

By far the dirtiest Target I have ever been in. More clothes on the floor then on shelves. More in shopping carts then on racks. Where is management? This place will be closed soon unless something is done.

This target is ok for some stuff but every single time i come here this is what the pixi section looks like. Knowing this, I checked the website before i headed over to see if the item i want is in stock. And even though target website says that the item is in stock, its not here! This is not the only section that always looks a hot mess either. I will have to order online even though i would have preferred to buy from target.

Not as nice as in the past. Inventory is starting to lack. COVID-19 protocols (mask rule and social distancing in checkout area) are becoming a joke. More and more patrons ignore it.

Excellent customer service. I asked a team member for help and was greeted with a smile. Then when I went to the customer service desk, as usual, the team members were smiling and were quick in bringing my order to me. Im not surprised though because this is the norm for Target which is why I really enjoy shopping there.

My husband placed an order online to pick up a tv he wanted and was very excited at the price too. We drove 40 of the 55 minutes it took to get there and received a message via email that stated this item was no longer in stock. Please keep in mind that we had paid for the tv in advance and received confirmation about our order. I did try to make contact with customer support but when asked to press 1 it failed 3 times. We are very disappointed!

The young lady at the register, named Quizia, was so wonderful and helpful that not only will I tell others about the service at Target, but will make it a point to return myself.

Today I watched the cart of a young mom waiting on her cab who had to go back into store to take little ones to bathroom. While outside I observed how worker Angel (with locks) was so orderly and pleasant doing guest count and making sure other workers were doing their jobs. Angel was gonna make sure the young moms cab didnt leave before she returned as well. Great tag team partnering with Angel. Keep up the good work!

Cashier doesn’t know how to work the register and made it look like my card was the problem. Item we wanted to purchase was not in your system and cashier and another employee said it was salvage and she said meaning it was trash so it can’t be sold and yet it is in your shelves to trick and disappoint people. Cashier and whoever helped her was rude.

This location is mostly out of stock on everything, messy, and an employee told me to “hurry up” when trying to find an item number for her to look up, I avoid this location

Big store, but every single employee I tried to get assistance from either ignored me, or just plain refused to help. I tried to buy a television, a big purchase; but no one would call for help, or even get the TV for me. I couldnt grab it myself because it wasnt on the floor. I spent 25min waiting for someone to get the television. Sandra at electronics specifically refused to assist me, and refused to call for help when the line was half a dozen people long and she spent 10min helping one person. I wasnt rude, I waited polightly, but even the guy trying to help me forget why u was standing there waiting for almost 30min.Very vary disappointed in the customer service. Target is usually good with this, but Im very upset.

We have a really great Target Store in Durham NC. The employees are always present in the store and ready to help - if you look a little lost looking for something, it seems like one almost magically appears and offers help. Even when stocking, the employees are pleasant and never act like youre interfering with their work. For the most part the store is orderly and always clean - and always well stocked (at least when Ive been there). Also, Target gets the most unique merchandise sometimes (like Blackberry wine, or greek olive oil - FROM GREECE!) and they never charge outlandish prices. We really enjoy our store!

I was just in this Target looking at maternity clothes. I found a dress I intended to buy. As I was passing a mirror, I held the dress up in front of my body. The mirrors have signs that ask the customers to not sit on displays, touch items, or try on items. An associate approached me angrily, 3-4 feet away, and told me I couldnt try on the clothes. I apologized, told her I wasnt trying it on, and told her I intended to buy it. She interrupted me to angrily confront me, saying the item couldnt touch me as she began to read the sign out loud to me while stepping towards me. I interrupted her saying, Im sorry I misunderstood! and walked away. Annoyed at the hostility of the confrontation, I set the basket with dress down and left. I understand the anxieties surrounding COVID exposure, however, that was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in Target. This was my first time going into Target since the closures in early March.

After the renovation the store is 5 stars.The inventory levels are 4 stars because I went there recently and their shelves in books, toys and electronics were pretty sparse is spots.The staff gets 2 stars as I had one of the rudest people here mock a t-shirt I was wearing. Also they never have enough cash registers open.Overall I prefer other targets.

I Shop at this location frequently, it’s very convenient. Most of the time the workers are very friendly especially in electronics. There’s this one worker in particular that is not so friendly and the past couple of times I’ve been in the store shopping for clothes she’s been very rude. Today I asked Carmen ( a purple hair lady just in case your in the store) if she could help me. Her exact words were: “I’m doing something wait” then she continued to place the fixtures on the wall. After that she asked “what you need?” in a snappy way. I politely asked if she could scan an item for me an tell me if it was at a different location. She told me no go to customer service an walked off. I’m just shocked how rude she can be.

I absolutely love Target and this store in particular is my favorite one. The majority of the employees are extremely helpful and friendly. The store is very clean and well kept. I literally get everything I need from target for myself and my son..we have no need to shop anywhere else. I enjoy this store so much employees see me and say hey youre back! Its nice to spend your money and time somewhere that you feel that you are getting your moneys worth and they truly care about your needs.

I love that I can place my order early in the day and be able to pick it up immediately after work without having to get out of the car. I wish this was around 7 years ago when we had our last child, it would have made trips to the store easier without having to take the baby out of the car especially in the colder months of the year. The times I have used this, the guest services personal that delivers the items to the car are always polite and kind! I love this process!!

This Target is a generally nice store, but today I was disappointed at the litter in front of the store. The trash cans were overflowing, and customers had thrown many receipts on the ground. Once inside, I had a pretty good shopping experience. Some things were overpriced like over $4.00 for a small package of basil, but other things like a large bunch of parsley for 99 cents were good buys. The store was well-stocked, the restroom was clean and the checkout clerk, friendly. Target tries to encourage customers to use the self-service kiosks, but I prefer full service, and those lines were long. I like Targets shopping carts which operate smoothly. Parking here is easy to find.

Ive called this target several times. The associates themselves are helpful and polite all though they may have an issue with maybe being short staff however the is not my problem. The manager of this location is very rude and when asked a question instead of answering just decides to hang up the phone instead of helping a customer. Ive visited this target often and have never had a problem i hope the manager (Mr.scott) has a better day than today or just pick a different career.

Waited in like to checkout for 25 mins and when it was my turn the lady smirked and said sorry my lane is closed now. I will never be back here. The manager was calling for help and 1 person came to help check out the mile long lines.

Apparently you’re able to give them you’re money but they can’t give you yours back if something doesn’t fit or works!

I like the layout and upgraded merchandise at the new Target. However, I have a serious issue to be brought to the attention of the store manager having to do with checkout.Customers with disabilities or the aged must choose self-checkout, or more recently, one manned line. In either case, bagging and loading purchases into the cart presents a hardship for many individuals. Self checkout is impossible, and the checker in the service line bags the purchases but does not load the bags into the cart. Furthermore, no one asks if help is needed getting purchases to the car.Apparently the only option is advance ordering, in which case I suppose purchases placed on line or by phone are handled differently.If Target wants customers to come into the store, some effort must be made to make the experience available to all. At present, it is not.

Needs more verity of food.They have a lot of American options but the “diverse sections” were basically one shelf with rice seaweed and a couple noodles.

I went right before Christmas and the parking lot was full. I panicked and almost didnt go in, but needed to get stocking stuffers and I knew Walmart would be way worse. Everything inside was still calm, well stocked and I didnt have to wait for a cashier. I walked right up to the counter and was able to check out.

I love Target but if you shop at this store on a Sunday many of the shelves are bare. I asked an employee who told me Sunday was re-stock day. I typically do my shopping on Sunday and was very disappointed with the lack of products. Hopefully they can remedy this.

I recently had a frustrating issue with a transaction and needed a refund. Teri was very helpful and professional. She continuously thanked me for my patience and went out of her way to correct things for me. This issue was corrected promptly, all during the stores recent renovations. Happy with the service and care that I received at this location.
