My Audi S4 had a bad crack develop in the windshield, so I called Rod up to get a quote and ask some questions. He was straight forward and professional with me, gave me a great price, and the new windshield fits like its supposed to. They are always very helpful

No one I saw in that place was wearing a mask. As a person who takes immunosuppressants for lupus, I felt very unsafe inside of that place, and once I got back in my car I sprayed everything down cause the person driving MY car wasn’t wearing a mask. I mean do what you want inside of your building, but directly endangering my life ? Not in my car! Then I got my bill and it was in my friends name who made the apt for me, not mine. I got an attitude when I asked for my name to be on the bill for my car window. Once I checked the window it was making a strange noise, so I asked about it and I was told that it’s always made that noise. And someone else tried to give me 3 reasons why it was making that noise. In all cases not their fault... turns out they didn’t tighten up the screws for the track the window sits in and the track was loose. Plus I only saw white employees there... very disappointed!

Jacobs Glass is fantastic. Matt and crew there helped me get some custom glass cuts and then on top of that helped me again when an expedited time frame needed to be met on some secondary windows. I would recommend them to anyone who needs glass / windows as they are completely helpful, friendly, and do quality work.

Absolutely great service from start to finish. An emergency job had came in so I had to wait a little longer but I was informed about it immediately so completely fine with the extra wait. I would highly recommend this place to anybody for any of your glass needs.

I had a cracked windshield and, ten minutes later, I was on the phone with Jacobs and had set up an appointment for the following morning. I called very close to 5pm, after discovering the crack, and I was made to feel like my call was the most important of the day. I was quoted a price cheaper than Safelite, which is the company that Allstate uses, and the glass was ordered and installed by 9:00 the next morning, an hour after they opened. All communication was fantastic, and I will recommend Jacobs to everyone.

Had a badly cracked windshield requiring replacement. Chose Jacobs based on numerous positive online reviews. They have lived up to their great reputation! Rod was pleasant and helpful in getting my information to order the new glass. They started the work at the precisely the scheduled time, and it only took about an hour. Rod and his staff (Josh, Rayford) even took the time to show me where they tried to fix some issues from a previous - poorly done - windshield replacement (the results were good but he said not up to his personal standards). Got clear follow up instructions, and my bill was exactly what I was quoted. Five stars and a loyal customer. Thanks for a great experience!

This is the best glass store I have ever been to! Their price and quality are awesome. I got a quote on five big glass shelves from 3 different companies and Jacobs Glass was almost half the price.Super nice guys in the warehouse helped me load the glass in my pick up truck… All-around just a great company.And they are very convenient to Chapel Hill!!!

I was not looking forward to getting my windshield replaced because its a Subaru with the heating element for the wipers. It was half the cost to replace I thought it would be and I thought Id have to wait 2 weeks to get the windshield installed. I called on Friday afternoon and had an appointment set up in just a few minutes for the following Tuesday. Im hoping its a long time before I need another windshield, but when I do I am definitely going back to Jacobs Glass.

Recently while visiting my daughter at UNC, had a stone break my windshield while on Rt95 traveling to Chapel Hill. Called my insurance company and was recommended to the Jacobs Glass company in Durnham for a replacement. I immediately called them to set up an appointment and was scheduled for a visit the next day. I can say without hesitation, that the service and quality was above my expectations. Ron the Auto glass manager and the technicians went above and beyond the normal service level to meet ensure my satisfaction with the replacement on my Subaru. The quality and expediency of service was outstanding. I highly recommend this company for all your glass needs, especially the auto kind..

Small-ish family business is still the secret to real value and customer service.

They replaced my BMW M5s windshield for $450 with a rain sensing OEM windshield! Safelite quoted me $1150 and it was going to be some off brand windshield. They did a superb job installing it! No leaks and no wind noise! Ill definitely be back if I ever need their services again.

Fair pricing, great service. Have had two windshields done here. I hope I dont need to return for another broken windshield but will if I need to.

So much to be said about the customer service and care you receive at Jacobs Glass. I had my car broken in to late at night and they were able to replace my window by lunch time the following day! Not only were they sympathetic about the break in but their customer service was outstanding! They notified me when they expected the part to arrive and when the car was ready to be picked up. I could tell they were doing everything in their power to get my car back to me as soon as possible. They worked great with my insurance and my car was returned in excellent condition. I wont go anywhere else from now on! Thank you Jacobs Glass!

My RV had a large side window which was broken. It was tempered and contoured glass. I spent a month trying to find a replacement, to no avail. Lane, at Jacobs glass, made and installed a replacement window. It is wonderful. Everything was done in a professional way.With thanks,Lee Brown
