Ed is absolutely wonderful. He worked on my 1978 Fiat and took the time to explain everything to me and even did a few extra tweaks. His prices were significantly more reasonable than other shops I’ve been to. They are also some of the nicest people you’ll ever met. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Found this shop when my x5 bmw started misfiring. The service was excellent and while the mechanic wasnt able to fix my truck him and the lady at the front desk was professional and nice people. And the dog was cool too

I have used their services for years, but entered their facility yesterday to find the person behind the counter and at least one mechanic inside not wearing masks. I originally made an appointment for later that day, but called before I went to raise concerns about safety. When I alerted the same woman over the phone that I wouldn’t use the service if they weren’t wearing masks when I returned, she very quickly said, “thank you, bye,” and hung up. Very disappointed in this response, in the absence of concern for public safety, and in the lack of loyalty toward returning customers.

The customer service and the skill of the people in charge here is beyond measure!! I will never take my car to another place.

On my way to Georgia, I manage to pick up a bolt in my tire. These folks were the closest tire shop that was open, and they agreed to look at it right away. They put in a plug, but it was too big to safely drive to Georgia on. These nice folks called around to find a tire shop that had the right size in stock and could work me in same day (this was around 5:30pm, mind you). They found one and sent me on my way, and they didnt even charge me for the plug. Very kind folks, even near closing time on a Friday afternoon.

My family has been going here since before I was born. Ed, his family and his staff have never disappointed us before. Top notch service with a personal touch.

My daughter put kerosene in her fuel tank since regular gas wasn’t available at the gas station (post Hurricane Florence). I turned the car over to High Tech Auto Care and they completely took care of me. For a crazy reasonable cost, they cleaned out the tank and fuel injection system and got the car running just fine. All done in one afternoon. I’m just thrilled to have High Tech Auto Care close by to help care for our cars!!

Ask for Susan to get you to the mechanic thats right for your needs. Overall, this is an honest business in a world that isnt. Ed and Debbie, the owners will work with you to explain what is going on with your vehicle, what needs to be done and what can wait all with fair and honest rates. They will take care of your needs with professionalism and honesty. And if youre lucky, you get to meet Duke, the office mascot.

Great people. The people here are very friendly and helpful, and they sometimes have a dog in the office! Their rates are reasonable. ALSO they recommended me to someone else when they thought it would be a better financial solution for me on a major repair.

The Shop is a little out of the way for me. But they are up front and open about getting the job done (right). They are not the fastest or cheapest shop around BUT again They Get The Job Done Right. They make sure you really do leave all set and ready to go. You will have No Questions about why is your car or truck doing this now or any doubt that they know what they are doing. Make sure you understand what youre estimate is for... Plan on leaving it there a while. Its not an in and out kind of place, But the Job is Done Right.... No Guess work on your dime... Take the time, give them a chance and go from there. Its hard to find a solid honest shop these days and I feel that High Tech Auto Fits The Bill....

Great mechanics and prices..but, shop and parking lot needs working surveillance cameras since the shop is not liable for theft or damage. My car was was vandalized and items were stolen. I really was shocked since I never had any issues in the past. My doors were left unlock when I returned to pick up eventhough I was told they lock all cars. Please beware that this could happen to you so I suggest you stay with your vehicle when service is done to ensure your car will be secure under your own watch. Very disappointed !

Great customer service. They are family owned so they care more about the job rather than a big chain company who doesnt care about a few complaining customers. Have had my BMW 750I, Mercedes GLS450, Mercedes ML350, Chevy Cruise, GMC Denali all serviced there many times and have never had a problem. Always very polite and very great prices. Bays where cars are worked on are wide open so you can watch them as they work. Very friendly and helpful would recommend to anyone in Durham.

They dont or wont wear masks. Dont want to go inside, and definitely dont want them inside my car.Their behavior is cavalier towards the safety of others. Do you really want people like that working on your car?

I came to HiTech because I hit a curb (pretty hard) and broke an axle as well as the control arm on my BMW. Hi tech was quick and helpful. They sought out the best price in parts and even waited for a part to come in that I ordered off Ebay. They finished the repair in no time and even helped me out on the overall price. I highly recommend them and I will be sure to use them in the future!
