Sad experience here at the Durango location. We have never been disrespected or discriminated against. The gentleman in the service department was horrible and disrespectful. I wish I would have got his name to blast him return the favor of disrespect.

Wish I could rate with 0 stars. Absolutely horrendous customer service. I had to walk around for 30 minutes looking for help and not a single person would try to help.Went to the service counter and was treated horribly. When I finally got someone to the area I needed help in i was refused service.

Not the most friendly store. Usually when you visit a home depot, your greeted and can find assistance easily from employees. This is not the case at this one. Tried finding someone to answer a few questions in the tile area, and could not. Will travel elsewhere next time.

Traveled an hour to purchase trim that was shown in stock on line. Confirmed that it was in stock by calling the store as well. Got there, only 1 of the 10 pieces I needed was there. Inventory numbers need to be updated more frequently. Also, its amazing how many employees will walk right by you without offering any assistance. When I did flag someone down for help, they said that it wasnt their department and Id have to find someone at that desk. Well, no one at the desk but thanks anyway. Finally went up to customer service and explained what I needed and how I confirmed online and by calling. CS employee said, you cant believe any of the stock numbers online. To which I said that I also was told over the phone that there was 14 of the item I needed in stock. She pulled it up on her computer, sure enough, it said 14 in stock. To which she replied, those numbers get entered on Thursdays. Awesome job Home Depot. Keep up the sub par service 👍

Samsung buyer beware!!Do not purchase Samsung products. Our new stove has failed twice in the first year of ownership. We have called for warranty service three times and to date no one has responded. I will NEVER buy a Samsung product again.

Received a call our appliances are being delivered on Friday, March 26th. Today is Saturday March 27th, we are still waiting. The issue is, they dont respect their customers time and never called that there was a delay. We called this morning and was told we were on the schedule, she was not sure why they werent delivered. She rescheduled to deliver them next Friday, unbelievable!!Guess thats what happens when you dont shop at a trustworthy company like Amazon. Home Depot kiss my grits!!

11/29/20 Saturday 10:45amShopping for Organic soil. 2 young men blocked off the small area (infamous Home Depot orange gates) and left the area as I was shopping right there. They were going to move a pallet of soil. I swiftly went behind the gate to grab my soil. They came back and shouted at me to leave the area without asking if a needed help or offering assistance. I requested to the mature lady at the CUSTOMER SERVICE desk (careful to not be a stereotypical “Karen”, to speak to a manager. She showed zero empathy or concern, she told me to get their names before I could speak to a manager. I explained that it was not the young associates fault, but rather a management training issue. She rudely retorted, “they ARE trained”. Apparently, not, ma’am. I returned all the Christmas lights we purchased because of this encounter. I never was able to speak to a personnel manager.

Shop local instead!!!! When an assistant manager tells you “Call corporate headquarters” you know you are dealing with people who don’t care about customers!!! Terrible customer service and response. They sell poor quality products then tell the customer that’s just the way things are. Wish we had another option in Durango!

The first floor sales rep that I encountered was very rude. When I asked her where I could locate a particular item, she very curtly stated that ...we dont have any and only carry them in the summer. Youll just have to order one online. Then she just walked off. I would say she needs a Customer Service Class immediately. - The next floor sales rep was a more helpful...and turns out, there were some of the items in stock. Unfortunately, not the size I was needing.

I went there looking for a handcart with a folding handle that is light enough to lift up into my car. This nice gentleman stayed with me while I tried to explain what I wanted. He finally realized what I was saying, found it and carried it to the check out register in the Garden Section, then carried it out to my car. What a wonderful experience.

I have placed 3 orders for pickup at this store... none of which have been picked up without a problem. 1: Lost or missing items when I had gotten text notifications saying the entire order was ready for pickup. 2: Severely damaged items. 3: Item was promised by a certain date and was delivered to the store before that date but seems to have been lost or misplaced... still waiting for for a resolution for this one.

9/10/20 Went to exchange a Husky 1/4 drive 3/8 impact adapter and two 3/16 Husky flathead screwdrivers. The ladies at the front were very nice, even though they explained the pieces would need to be returned as a complete set (even though I just needed single items). Anna said if I could find singles that were close, they might be able to exchange them. I found similar items (not the same, because Husky changed the design/size) but the Male supervisor immediately jumped to the conclusion that I wanted to return them; wrong, I wanted replacements. Then aggressively explained it would have to be the same item; impossible because they are years old and the design changed. I asked if he could order me replacements; he said he could not. Called the 1-888 number, only to find the call center not open, despite saying theyre open until 7pm and it was 6pm. So much for a lifetime warranty. No where does it say they need to be replaced as a set. Never going to buy a Husky tool again, and will do everything in my power to not support this Home Depot again. Not the first time Ive been given the run-around with the customer service department at this store.

This is the biggest supplier of fixer-up supplies in town. They are usually well stocked and there is on-line order, which is usually fast. Prices seem fair. The main problem is finding help. Sometimes you are 2nd or 3rd in line standing by the associate as they help #1. Walking up and down all of the aisles looking for an orange vest is frustrating.

Just got off the phone with a lady at the service desk, who never gave me her name. I asked a question and she acted so exasperated and annoyed that she even had to answer the phone. After she answered my question, I thanked her and she just hung up. Come on, if you hate your job that much why are you even there? Not sure why she felt the need to act so negatively, but I dont think Ill be shopping here anymore with customer service like that.

Be prepared to stand in line if you go at a prime shopping hour. Due to COVID-19, they are strict on the number of people within the store at one time, but, one should be used to this by now 🤗. I went in for industrial size cleaning supplies and they had very little stock. So, Im assuming while everyone is stuck at home, they are cleaning!! 🤔Overall self-checkout was a breeze and all the employees were knowledgeable about where items were located and if not, found someone who knew where to find items.

Spend your money at local lumber yards. Not this mega corporation. At an actual lumber yard, theyll cut your lumber to length and load it for you and 90% of the lumber will be straight and of good quality. Local lumber yards employee actual people and wont replace them with self check outs. And 9x out of 10 the price will be very close to what you wouldve paid at HD. Time is money, why spend 2x as much time in HD trying to find stuff when you can give your list to the desk and theyll fill your order for you.

Ill start this by disclosing two things: Im a loyal Lowes customer and a former Lowes employee. I normally dont like Home Depot because it feels cheap when I walk in one. Dirty, kind of disorganized, and hard to find people who work there.Im on vacation in Durango and today I needed some sandpaper for a project on which my kid is working. Home Depot was close by so I went for it.I have never been to a Home Depot this clean. Organized everywhere, swept, lit, clean signage, everything. I went to find someone to point me in the direction of our quest and I spotted 5 people immediately. One told me what aisle and another person (who wasnt the only person watching the self check area) took me to the spot.I mentioned the stores appearance to someone and they said thanks, weve been working on it for a while. They said new management had come in and while it took a while for everything to click, it has clicked now.It shows. As a former retail manager (30 years, stopped about 3 months ago) stores show their leadership. Good job.

Ordered appliances for our new home jul 7th 2020. Went in personally from out of town to ensure they were available, we were told they were. Now today 11/12: Contractor recieves word that my appliances could not be delivered because one of the pieces was discontinued. So, I have paid for interest on our construction loan for months, for appliances that I was never going to recieve, after I was assured they were available. Upon inquiry, I was told I have to reorder the other pieces of the delivery for a new delivery date even though theyve been ready to go. And ph wait, the bank wont close without appliances in the house.If the appliance department or somebody in customer service would have told me the situation, home depot would have kept a customer. I would give zero stars if I could.

Website hours say the store is open, the answering machine says the store is open. Drive there and the store is closed. A line of people in the parking lot and no one inside will open the door. No one was keeping track of store capacity for covid-19. Face masks werent required. Couldnt find people on the floor to ask questions so I could get out of there quickly. Next time I will probably get my supplies at a smaller store where covid-19 rules are being enforced. If you dont care about covid-19 shop here. If you do I wouldnt go there unless there were no other options. Its a personal decision.
