This place was amazing! Super clean& very welcoming. The food& coffee was perfect, only thing that was even better was our waitress, (Unfortunately I didnt catch her name) Monday right at open. Being out-of-state, we felt right at home. Definitely recommend!!!!
This was the first time Ive had the opportunity to eat at this establishment. Our waitress was amazing. It looked like she was the only waitress on staff and was handling the orders wonderfully! Very clean and bathrooms seemed to be remodeled. Best part is we all had breakfast and it was delicious! I would absolutely go back again and recommend this dinner to others.
They should take omelette’s off the menu. The omelette was so dry it did not even taste like eggs. The cheese was not melted at all, they must add cheese after they overcook the eggs. Adding veggies didn’t help. Worst omelette I’ve ever had. Could not even eat it and complaining did nothing. Still had to pay for a plate of food I did not eat. Waitress was trying her best but obviously owners don’t care.
Skip this diner. Go somewhere else. How can you screw up breakfast?! Cold eggs, hard toast, cold coffee. Service horrible! Waiter rushed to take our order, then after waiting for a while, he dropped it off and then, he was no where to be found until we were finished, he brought the bill and then, he asked is everything ok? I had to get up, at the beginning of our breakfast with a Cane, to go to the front desk to Speak to the manager as we had no salt, jam , coffee. Manager seemed annoyed at us, but came over and gave us what we needed, but only to tell me that due to the times, they were short staffed. No they weren’t! They had “too many” working the floor, but I certainly do not care if I’m spending $30 for breakfast for two!!!!
I can say the diner isnt what it was 15 years ago. The waiters take long to come to you, the food is overly priced, the soda tasted awful and the food was over cooked and some were burnt. It wasnt busy at all in fact there was three other ppl there. Spent a lot of money there and Im not one to complain about things like this to the staff. I took my loss.Think twice And be aware!
This place has gone down hill. Used to be my go-to diner. Used to have great chicken fingers and honey mustard, no more. Western omelette some sort of dried out funfetti thing that was gross. Specs of things (ham, peppers, etc) nothing over a millimeter in size. we will no longer be spending our money here.

Terrible just so disappointing, waiter didn’t speak English so ordering took a year,, food was served but out of 5 orders 4 plates came out. We were told that it will be out in a minute but the waiter went and took another tables order, finally the plate came out but my side order wasn’t with it. We split the check with our party, that was another year because apparently math isn’t a strong suit when working with money, first and last time there. This is what the people of Fairfield consider good food?! I hope not

I was not happy with this place. Atmosphere is good, service is quick but a lot of misunderstanding with my order and even in a bill. The food is ok but burger was dry & salad from chef was a no great have I would expect. It my opinion it will be much better to visit a lot of cozy place just few blocks away in downtown.
Ordered take out tonight for dinner and so glad I did. The cranberry walnut salad was huge, fresh and so delicious. We also had the classic chicken Souvlaki over rice which was a total home run. Mydaughter had a chicken parm grinder and was also very happy. Terrific close to a hectic day. Thank you Gus and staff for a job more than well done.

I ordered a gyro. Waitress told me it didnt come with anything. So I ordered a side of fries. $20. But when I got back the gyro came with fries. The sandwich was absolutely disgusting. I had to throw it away. Never again!

I would not go back since i ordered the eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and toast and i felt that it was disgusting. The has browns were mush as if they had been sitting in grease as well as the bacon. I could not bring myself to eat it and left with a bad image of this diner. Not recommended
The 4 stars is because their food is the BEST! The philly cheese steak panini ( specialty order😉) is to die for!🤤❤ I would give them 5 stars BUT- the owner is a nasty, arrogant person who has zero customer service skills, he isnt even nice to the customers that are keeping his business alive..which is unfortunate.

My new favorite diner!Third time here and everything is perfect.Our orders are always spot-on, and the food is always good (only complaint: my honey prefers the fat breakfast sausage, not the skinny links! Unless...There’s a phrase that’s often spoken today by people ages 25-37, namely, ‘break me off a piece of that, please.’ Some circles we wish to have a piece of, despite the protest of the Carter Family. The very thought of having a segment of the Circle Diner which we could bring with us as we please...It’s almost too much.More diners should name themselves after shapes, but will never for the obvious reasons they can never reach the geometric perfection of their namesake. Some do and achieve this. I’ll leave it up to you and my rating to decide with the CD has.I had the milkshake. It was cold.
Finding this diner was a nice surprise in a most unexpected location. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced. It was a nice place to have a conversation and meet with friends.

Our first time at Circle diner, we went for breakfast, the food was good, I would have liked a different brand of coffee. The place was clean and the wait staff was nice. Popular place for breakfast.
They also have almost anything you could possibly want for lunch or dinner. Their menu is HUGE. More than anything on the menu though, what I really like are the staff who go above and beyond and that is so rare to find. As such, it is always a pleasure to dine here even though I do not get to Fairfield much.
Breakfast was delish! Service was attentive and friendly. Would have given 5 stars but the a la carte price for a side of fruit was too high / not a good value.

My favorite waffles
A place that stopped trying. I worked in the area when this diner opened. It was well run then and attention was paid to details. That is no longer the case. Breakfast was barely edible, served warmish. I would have told the cashier if shed asked. I dont think she even looked up. She likely knows better than to ask.

Best diner around! They have the usual 2200 page menu but unlike other places everything is fresh. I am a sucker for the tuna or big burgers, I have also had outstanding omelettes. Service is great and a perfect choice for a casual client lunch ... everyone finds something they love.
Stayed at the Circle Hotel, this diner was a great bonus! Right in the same parking lot, the food was all delicious and fresh tasting! We went there 3 times during our one night stay. We would go back for sure if ever in the area.

Cornbeef Hash with Poached Eggs. Great anytime. Attentive staff, coffee mug was always refreshed. A place they dont rush you out of when you a place to sit for a bit.
Waiter did not bring us the water, it came after 15 minutes.There were no knives, folks, napkins on our table. The employees were just chatting, and giggling.I had to ask for folks, and they were just standing around.We had to ask him the napkins.By the time, I had to ask for knives, we were tired. We started to take knives from other tables.Manger was chatting. Employees were chatting to each other. They don’t care customers.

Stopped here based upon good reviews - not disappointed. Place was neat & clean - even the restrooms were great. I wasnt asked how I wanted my burger cooked but it came out juicy at med-well. Wifes Reuben was over-stuffed but very good. Service was quick & friendly, the food was good, the price was reasonable. (Worth at least 4.5 stars.) Will go again.

My husband and i have gone here for years - we have noticed the last year or so a real decline in the quality of the food , the prices and definitely the attitude. I read some reviews and people that have gone there regularly are also noticing the total overall decline in quality. Tonight my husband got a fried seafood combo for $20.75 - a small piece of fish five scallops the size of a dime and two shrimp. When we complained the manager said seafood is expensive and had a general attitude and talked over me the whole time I was trying to talk. Time to stop going there. .Also have any others noticed that what you get when you order take out from there is not the same as when eating in ? Do all the less quality bits and / or smaller servings purposely go into the take outs ?? You dont know until you are home and then its too late. This has occurred to us at this diner a couple of times. Last time was a greasily fatty piece of meat not the lean cut we had expected. Today we decided not to go there again.We will recommend to others to find better places to go out to eat - there are plenty of them in fairfield.
The French toast was horrible. I asked for more butter, never came. I asked for more tea, never came. We could hardly understand the waiter either. 2 stars is a lot and only because the food came quickly.
Good food but waitresses was completely off her game my last couple visits. Pointed and ordered what we wanted from the specials menu (simple egg and toast dish) instead got massive omletes we could not finish, which cost double. Service for coffee, water, and check poor.
Huge portions, fast service (even on a Saturday morning), reasonable prices. My omelette was tasty, although it was a scramble and not an omelette. Other than that and the fact that they dont even offer real maple syrup, its a great place for a big breakfast.

I have been here in the past for work meetings in the separate room and always thought the food was on point. I stopped in for a post work meal with a friend on Halloween. The food and the service are still exceptional! Its nice to have a solid spot to eat after getting off second shift when everything else is closed.
Generous portions. Standard breakfast fare available. Attentive service. The restaurant is large enough that you seldom need to wait for a table.

I went into this diner for the first time the other day. The service from my waitress is the only thing saving this from not being a one star review. The food we received was completely inadequate, with stale cheese and bread on my sandwich and the most foul tasting French onion soup, not to mention stale cheese on my soup. I don’t know what was wrong in the kitchen that day but if that’s the quality they serve daily I strongly recommend finding one of the many other diners around town.
You can never go wrong coming here! Its the best for great prices. Only complaint is that the menu has too many options!! Lol

Charged $4 for an order of GF toast. Said it was bc a loaf cost over $5. I get that but I dont agree with screwing the customer by having pretty much one order pay for the loaf!!!! Also while waiting they were cleaning the plastic/glass inside of the muffin case....with muffins still in there!!!!! Will never go there again!

This is an independent small family type restaurant. Excellent Chips and salsa and enchiladas. My husband likes their hard shell beef tacos. The food here is more authentic then most Mexican restaurants.
