As a first time short formal dress shopper, my daughter was getting frustrated trying to find the best style & color that fit her best. It seemed like there wasnt anywhere in our area carrying short formal dresses for her to try on. Cathy, owner of Rumor Prom & Formal heard feedback from others with the same frustration and decided to put together a trunk show of several different styles & colors of short formal dresses. She was kind, patient & most of all excellent in her field. She gave my daughter all her attention during her appointment. Her honest opinions and knowledge helped my daughter picked the perfect dress!!! She was assertive in getting her size ordered so that she wouldnt miss out on the dress (1 left in stock). She stayed in communication with me as to when the dress would arrive. She even worked with the vendor to get it shipped at an earlier date! THANK YOU for making my daughter feel very special! We had so much fun at your pop up show.

Best dress shopping experience!! We came from out of town and didnt realize we needed an appointment so I called and she was there in 30 minutes. Though we didnt leave with a dress, she is determined to continue to help until we find the perfect one. Will definitely go back for all our dress needs!!

Such an amazing family oriented shop! My daughter found the perfect prom dress- with an added bonus, that it was designed by the owner (who is such a sweet lady). All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. I took my daughter to several shops before we found this treasure of a shop. So worth the drive!

Great place to find prom dresses. Everyone is very helpful and not pushy to sell a dress just to sell one. Cathy was great helping us even showed us styles in her trunk sale last years dresses. For the dads that are involved with their daughters I recommend going here as they welcome you and dont make you feel out of place. We will back in 3 years with our other daughter.

We are out of town and stopped by to look for prom dresses and had a Wonderful Exerpience!. The owner provided exceptional customer service, was creative in adding bridal belts and other accessories to the dress to make the dress unique. We will be back again next year for Senior Prom.

My experience at rumor was not very pleasant. Kathy was pushy and rude, she even wouldn’t let me try on a dress I wanted. Very disappointed overall and highly don’t recommend.
