Great selection of frozen prepared Indian foods and other sundries, as well as freshly made treats to purchase by the pound. Interesting place to browse the aisles.

Have been going to India Grocers for over 20 years and really like the wide variety and high quality of the products. They have wonderful deserts. If you go on weekends be ready for a line because it’s a popular store. I like India Grocers much better than some larger chain stores in the area. India Grocers is more personable and the staff and the manager are really helpful and kind.

Good place for Indian grocery. Many more varieties of groceries available than last year. They sell Samosas. They have fresh vegetables, frozen food and desserts. Located just across the street from Sams club, on Saw mill road at Cranston center. Never had problem finding a parking place.

I had a good impression about this store but, it has gone down. The reason is selling expired products. Couple of weeks ago I bought a pack of cashews and on the way home, I realized it had passed its expiry date. I went back to the store and returned it, leaving the fact aside that the person at the counter did not even apologize, but he was visually irritated as if Im being a spoiled princess who has to have everything perfect 😁.Anyways, i went back there yesterday to find presumably same cashews, packed in-store in a different packaging using plastic bags instead of the original boxes they come in and I found that they have used the front and back side of the box cut and put in the plastic bag as seen in the pictures. They did this with several other products also. They are not serious about customers health. Im not going there again!

They keep expired products on their shelves. Bought this on aug 11th but they got expired on July 29th itself. Please check your products expiration dates because they don’t check their inventories.

This store used be good, but nowadays the quality is going downhill. They have raised the prices of many items recently, steep. I compared the prices of the same items in other indian stores in the area and they are charging only regular price. Also, watch out for the mistakes on the bill (incorrect product charged/ incorrect price charged). It happened with me and also with a friend. They have some good variety items/ selection especially with sound indian items, so i will give positive marks on that area

India Grocers has variety of Indian cooking ingredients for cheap price and they are quite fresh.

I would be very careful about buying things that are outside the groceries realm. I saw once that they had the betel leaf for sale which was made in house. It turned out to be terrible, and when i made them aware of this, they tried to joke it off rather than apologizing or taking responsibility for it.More recently, i bought the curry leaf plant they had for sale.As I was getting ready to transplant this to a bigger pot, i discovered that this wasnt a plant at all! There was no root structure at all (see pictures) They had literally just stuck one of the stalks from the curry leaves they sell in store into a pot and called it a plant. That is just plain fraud with intent to cheat people.I guess they figured hey if we take one stalk from this pack of curry leaves that we sell for just a little over a dollar, we can make $9 on it.I wont be shopping at this dishonest store again.

Purchased pani puri masala to make pani puri. But to my surprise the pack was already open when i checked in my house. It was sealed by using cello tape and the masala was smelling bad. This is my second experience when something like this has happened. Leaving a bad impression. Might never visit you again.

Horrible!!! The customer service is so poor, they don’t even bag your items, literally throws everything in the cart. Just a monopoly player for asian groceries. They have expired products and if you buy it by mistake m, they refuse to exchange or return. They don’t speak english, keep on speaking in their language which is very rude to non indian customers. Never coming back.

This is good Indian store to go to. They have wide range of products and very good fresh vegetables. The place is maintained clean.Somehow I felt this store is better than Patel Brothers (which is normally supposed yo be better than all) in Columbus.One suggestion to the store owners.. if possible, please keep freshly prepared snacks.

I really love this Indian grocery store. They have all fresh vegetables and fish. They have really good collection of frozen vegetables too. The store is always clean. All the workers on the floor are very nice and helpful. So overall great retail store. The owner Gansham is a really nice and polite person. However, THE REASON I AM GIVING 2 STARS IS THE NEW LADY CASHIER. She is not only RUDE but LOVES TO ARGUE with customers. Even though the customer says the product name correctly she uses another word for that product and states the customer misled her. I understand she is in a lot of stress in her personal life but to express her frustration on customers is not acceptable. So I would say either FIRE her or TELL HER TO RESPECT CUSTOMERS!!

Shopping here for over 15 years. Despite having many other Indian Grocery stores pop up, and having tried all of them, we have stuck to India Grocers. Amazingly knowledgeable staff. Personal attention to customers. Almost everything you need.

Picked up a few spices here that I couldnt find in regular grocery stores. The staff was very helpful and nice, and they helped me find the spices I was looking for.

3 times I encountered wrong pricing on the label , it was bit more at billing. But owner gave the label price on all occasions.Also while returning one item I had no bill. Owner asked for exact amount which I gave from credit card App and he found out receipt that way and took the return. GREAT 👍👍

For many years, it has been a tradition for small Indian Grocers to sell samosas on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This place has done a wonderful job of that. Recently they started selling them every day of the week, which is a hurrah. But beyond samosas, they also sell a number of other handmade Indiantreats. Food is great; prices are great.April, 2019. Rating dropped from 5 stars to 2. The worst Samosas I ever ate now. They have someone new making them, someone who is cutting corners unbelievably. Samosas should be made of chopped potatoes and peas. These were made of mashed potatoes with almost no peas. Really, really bad!

Loved this place, produce, spices, and frozen items were of good quality and reasonably priced. I would certainly recommend this place. Also good specialty teas and mixes for yummy traditional Indian dishes. I dont normally use mixes but these are of a high quality.

This is a great place to go if you are on the search for Indian groceries. The place is quite clean and well organized. Theres parking in front of the shop. Fresh fruits and vegetables from India are available here, and so are Indian snacks and spices!

Their quality is lower, prices are drastically higher. normally, youd get a bag of groceries for about 25 dollars, it would be now 40

They can’t keep up with the reviews nor their shelves. I came to post about an expired Organic Dosa batter which I bought two days ago, after going home I found it was spoiled & expired about two weeks ago. I was shocked to see that there are many reviews about the expired products they carry, yet they don’t take action. I would rate ZERO STARS if I had a chance.

Best place to get Indian groceries in Columbus. Good variety products, helpful and adequate staff. Snacks also available (samosas, patties, bhajjis, etc.). Recent changes to the layout makes shopping easier..

Shopped here last week. Team members were very busy since it was a weekend. They surely need a much bigger space but for the space they are pretty well stocked. Almost everything i was looking for was available.Cashiers and stockers were quick and efficient. I would certainly stop again.

Could you please keep regularly check of the products because I have noticed so many that were expired in 07/18 when I stop by store in second week of November. This store has a lesser selection than Patel Brothers. However, the selection is still pretty good. Have found that curry leaves here are usually dry. The ready made samosa at the check out counter is good though!

Best in town...if you dont believe inquire about their growth in last 10 yrs. They gre from one small space to what it is now. Or visit once and talk to Ghansyam, the owner who constantly keeps working like any other employee there. Lovely guys and lot of good quality products for fair prices

Tiny store with products all over the place so dont be surprised if something drops on your head and you have to visit ER. They didnt restock the rice I usually buy for months. Their produce items arent fresh either. Frozen food are all spicy which is a great source of heartburn. Checking out is a mess where you might have to stand in line for more than 30 mins. Parking is horrifying too.

Good place to buy Indian groceries. Excellent collection of vegetables. This is the only place I can find jackfruit :) they also have good quality sweets, samosas and veg puffs. If youre a fan of pickle and pastes from Adyar Grand​ Sweets then this is the place for you.

Go here for all the Indian stuff. The place has almost everything an Indian household will need in their kitchen. Staff is friendly and its normally not overcrowded. I just wish they had an automatic door. Bit of a hassle to exit with your stuff when you shopping alone.
