Dangerous to do business with this location.One of my technicians had a small gas leak in his Chevy HHR. Company decided to take it to this location. The manager said no problem free estimate. We deliver the car there yesterday for the estimate. The manager sent me a text with a picture of the $2,500 estimate on it. When I called him about it , he used the words take it or leave it, spare me the details.Our fleet manager got involved and said they were quadrupling the cost for parts and adding an additional 8 hours of unnecessary labor verses what the books said. I should go elsewhere.Sent a technician in a taxi to pick up the vehicle. When the tech got there he found that the mechanic had already cut and removed both gas lines from the vehicle. The car was in driving condition when it was dropped off. The Meineke had disabled the car and refused to put the gas lines back on.We had to call a tow truck and bring the vehicle to another mechanic 0.3 miles away. The 2nd mechanic has been great. Considering taking legal action against this franchise.

Sad to hear that Meineke is now closed. I have been going there for 15 years . Owners, Moe and Sam were always nice and trustworthy! Service was great and dependable. Good luck guys.Ray Perez

I have been taking my cars here for years. They are always helpful and friendly and always give me a fair price. One of the first times I went there was a problem with my brakes that had been done elsewhere and the owner told me that he could fix it, but that I should go back to the people who put them in and make them fix it for free. I appreciated him not taking my money when he couldve and always go back there now and have always been treated well. There have been times when I couldnt afford all the work I needed and they always work with me on what is urgent and what can wait. I was there again this morning and despite them being busy, I was in and out in less than an hour. Nice people and great service!

Brought my personal car there and they did a great job. Now all my company trucks go for service . Great people and very honest. Stand behind their work 100%.

Being in the auto industry in the past for awhile I know what my truck needs and dont need. I went to this shop today 8/12/13. I knew what I needed and didnt say a word and let them do there assessment. When they told me what I needed they were right on. They didnt try to up sale me. I got all 4 brakes and two rotors at a reasonable price. What impressed me the most was I was in and out in 2hr with an oil change! I be going back there when I need more service for sure

I visited this Meineke location on a weekday morning for an oil change. I was promptly served and my vehicle was immediately (within 3 minutes) taken in for an expedient service.I also was given a free assessment of a slow oil leak that the vehicle has. The owner himself leveled with me and said that the repair would most likely be costly but was not necessary. I appreciated his candor and honesty, and how he just wasnt trying to make money. Thanks again!

Great folks here they always come through for me on my exhausts work or catalytic converter work that I need done. They are priced right to.

This location performs work in a sloppy, rushed manner. I got a wheel alignment that was a complete waste of money. When I complained I was told that the machine said it was aligned so I must be mistaken. which was complete nonsense. I also got an oil change with a coupon ( my mistake) and the technician didnt tighten the pan plug. and I lost 3/4 of the oil. This is a poorly run business. Do not use this particular franchise. I had to give it a star to post this review but it really deserves none

DO NOT go to this place!!! Had my brakes done and two new tires put on in 11/15. The brakes continue to squeak to this day-despite being fine! Suffered a blow out on route 80 (did not hit a thing, despite their insistence that I simply MUST have). They would not honor the tire warranty. Additionally, they could not agree on whether or not I needed a new rim! Owner says I dont, worker says I do! An hour and 15 minutes later, they come back and tell me they dont have a rim in stock NOR do they have a tire!!! By this point, I had enough and instructed them to put the donut back on as I was leaving. Things escalated very quickly verbally. They have zero respect for women and zero customer service skills!! Do NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!! I promptly left, took the car to Lakeside Tire and Auto Services in Hopatcong, and was on my way within half an hour!!! New tire, same rim only buffed up a lil bit by the owner, and ten dollars cheaper! I will never patronize this Meineke again.

Do not take your car here. They botched a simple oil change on my vehicle, mainly because the guy working there had no experience except perhaps with substance abuse. A few days laterI noticed a small but persistent drip coming from my vehicle. The owner denied responsibilityand offered the solution that he would give me a quote on a repair of a problem his business caused. I have no intention of letting them touch my car again but do intend on seeing if an action in small claims court is feasible. Avoid this establishment if you care about your car

I took my car in for an oil change. They are supposed to rotate the tires, which Im almost certain they did not, since I could see them working on my car. But since I wasnt watching like a hawk, I couldnt say for sure and so did not question them. They told me that my front struts were leaking, my alignment was off and I needed two new tires. It took about 15 minutes for him to give me a price quote, totaling over $500. I took my car to my dealership two days later, and told them to check the struts, brakes and suspension. They drove the car and inspected it, and found nothing wrong. Since the dealer will try to sell you the shirt off your back and didnt find anything to charge me for, Im glad I didnt pay to have something fixed that wasnt broken. Not going back there, for sure.

Expensive. Had to wait 5 minutes for the behind the counter guy to attend me. I only needed a pipe adapter and elbow. Thinking it would be less expensive I went to meineke since they can custom fit made pipes. Guy wanted me to leave the car. I told him I only needed the pipes he told me it would be 60 dollars. I told him thanks for your time. Went down the road and bought a elbow a adapter from auto zone for less than 10 dollars.

Do not go to Meineke, poor quality parts,do not honor waranty and are very dishonest.I had a starter installed in March of 17, they gave me a written warranty for 1 year. After six months the starter would make a scraping noise right after it started. When I returned to have this defective starter replaced they would not honor the warranty saying first that my ignition switch was getting stuck,then that I needed a tune up and spark plugs and also that I needed a fly wheel adjustment, which there is no such thing. If I did all that other work they would replace the starter.Very dishonest. I was contacted by Meineke home office and they said basically there was nothing they could do that it was up to the local franchise. I guess I will just take them to small claims court and I will name Dover Auto Center the franchise and Meineke as well on the suit. See you guys in court.

I went in for the free veterans day oil change and was treated like royalty. The guys at the counter shook my hand and thanked me for my service. They got my car on a lift only 10 minutes past my appointment time and they were loaded up with veterans who came in for an oil change. Not only did I get an oil change they served coffee and Danish so I had breakfast while my car was serviced. Called them for an oil change + tire rotation and talked to a guy. Asked him what oil they use and he said Shell. Never heard of Shell engine oil before. Anyway... quoted me a price of $29.95 for oil change + tire rotation. When I told him that I have a coupon for oil change + tire rotation for $19.95 from Meinekes website, he responded that the coupon does not apply to me since I will need special 5W20 oil for my 2009 Nissan Versa (which is utter BS).

Came here for a rumble noise by my muffler. The instantly identified the problem and resolved it within 30 minutes. As I waited, I was explained the issue and the fix to be done. Came here for breaks also 1 year ago and they been working great. I will be back!

Horrible , un professional , inexperienced mech...They dont know how to reset oil life in car indicator. They looked up you-tube to figure out and couldnt figure out.I ended up doing it myself ..

Horrible coming here is the worst thing that you could do for your car because they will fix one thing and then ruin another thing ontop of that the workers are extremely rude. I came here and they ruined my o2 sensor and tried charging me 80 dollars for it when they are 20 bucks for the model car that i have and ontop of that at first they didnt know what was wrong and i went to another mechanic to see what it was and he told me it was that and came back to them and they said it was that. they dont take responsibilty for anything I WENT IN WITH NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND CAME OUT WITH CHECK ENGINE LINE. NEVER COME HERE IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOUR CAR

Take a minute and review all the negative comments. Of course you can buy things cheaper at autozone, and they told you what the price was upfront, ect.... i like this place. They give you a price, solid work, and youre good to go. Plain and simple.

Went there for prices, left and went to Freeway Tire where I got a much better deal.

I had a muffler replaced there - pretty fast service.

The were very easy to work with - their prices were very reasonable, even when presented with a coupon they were happy to accommodate the discount. They offered a warranty for the work they did for a year - most places were 90 days.

Didnt have the oil in stock after being told they did. Waited around for 30 min to finally be told they are out. Wasted my time

A total ripoff !! Charges for work that is of poor workmanship, and when i complained about poor quality, i was told that to do it the right way it would cost twice as much!! Poor quality, workmanship (welder must have had a hangover)

Worst welders ever I shoulda done it myself over priced like crazy only went because they have lifts I still had to Jack my car up and fix the mess made other than the terrible job Im assuming maybe an apprentice did they were extremely nice and helped me with some minor issues only reason I give 2 stars is the welding is so terrible and I was furious I had to go back and fix so much
