Dear Metrospa,Your staff was very accommodating and gracious. I have an allergy to dyes so they even did a skin test prior to my service, which was a perm.But. My hair was done by the woman who I believe to be the spa owner. I had my consultation with a different stylist, ho quoted me two hundred dollars. When checking out, they charged me two fifty seven. (YES, perms can vary by length but mind you my hair was decently short.) This aside, while perming my hair she did not check to see how it was setting. She set a timer and walked off for twenty five minutes. After removing the curlers and drying some, she most likely saw it had failed and proceeded to curl my hair with a hot iron. When mentioning this detail to multiple stylists after, they almost died from shock. All she did was further damage my hair. After waiting the recommended time to shower and then some, to my horror . . . My hair was straight. All straight except for two strands. Mind you, I had not bleached, dyed, or permed my hair previously. I had barely even used heat treatment on it. This was ten months ago; I still cannot re perm my hair. All my strand tests fail because the strands are so dry, brittle, and lacking in integrity. Many other stylists have said she left the solution on too long, one even said she could clearly see the parts that had been permed because they were so damaged. I have to use an intensive moisture therapy now to revive my hair. Star and Andrea at the Rochester Smart Style have done my sisters perms for over a year now, her hair is not fried beyond recognition and their service only costs seventy dollars. So confused and disappointed.

I found my new home for haircuts and more. I love the owner, the atmosphere and most of all my new cut, color and highlights. Could not be anymore pleased. Happy happy joy joy.

I absolutely love coming here. All the women are so sweet, wonderful to be around, and incredibly talented. I really feel pampered and refreshed after every service I receive. Also the inside aesthetic is just really fun, bright, and modern! A nice environment to be in. They do an over-the-top, exceptional job with their covid regulations to ensure the safety of their guests.

Ive been very happy as a client of the Metrospa for years, but I really have to say that they have risen to the challenge of keeping their clientele healthy and safe during the pandemic: shielding, masks, hand sanitizer, the works. Well done, ladies!

I saw on Facebook that The Metrospa was having a special on the Bella Core Deep Tissue massage. I had questions as I have back issues and was currently going through PT and dry needling. I message them on Facebook and Nichole from The Metrospa got back within minutes. She tried to answer my questions about the massage and then took my number so Anneka could call me. She called me and walked me through the massage and the benefits and told me she thought it would be great for my issue I was having. I went and had my massage. Anneka was patient and kind as I had many questions. Since having my massage I have had a really good week of no pain. When I thought I overdid and was going to pay for it I felt great. Totally recommend if you have any form of back pain, sciatica issues etc.

Metrospa has a consistent high level of customer service and hospitality. Their facilities are so modern and clean and Im always impressed with every employee there. Everyone that Ive met is friendly and patient. I always look forward to visiting!

Gina and Mieliege are rockstars. Nichole was like the hostess with the “mostess” and made us feel so welcome! I am in love with my cut and my daughters icy blonde came out better than if Brad Mondo himself did it. Will definitely be back!

Very clean place and pleasant staff in general. I booked pedicures for me and my future mother in-law to get to know each other better. She ended up learning more about my pedicurist than me. This place did a nice job accommodating us, but it left me missing the Vietnamese nail techs in California, that would sit quietly, only talk to each other, and do there job. The focus should be on the customer experience, not on how you can add to their conversation.

By far one of my favorite places to get pampered in Dover. They offer so many services and they excel at all of them! I always love the way I look and feel after my appointments. You deserve to be pampered by this team!

I recently had a body treatment at The Metrospa in Dover, NH. It was fantastic. Many of their treatment rooms have private showers so that you can rinse off between treatments. So amazing. Also... the whole place is beautiful. A very upscale spa with hair, nail and body services.My massage therapist was so friendly. Id go back to see her anytime. They really make you feel comfortable, and cared for.

Visiting from Atlanta and my sister-in-law treated me to a facial with Lee. I had a wonderful experience. Spa is clean and pretty. The staff couldnt have been nicer!

Ive been to the Metrospa now a few times for different services, both before and during the time of coronavirus. I have to say, even after COVID, these folks have been working SO HARD to keep things safe and clean for clients. This is the kind of place you go when you want to a good solid service in an environment that is basically like a spa in a movie. The place is spotless, service is good, and prices are reasonable. Facials there are great, as are their nail services, pedis, eyebrow waxing, and hair treatments. If you want a good pick me up after a long day, the hair treatment and blowout is enough to really make you feel good without breaking the bank! They also accept reservations by contacting via Facebook, if youre not a phone call kind of person :)

The place is clean, the staff is very nice and attentive, and the technicians--hair and nail-- know what theyre doing and will guide you in the right direction. Its a bit pricey, but its a great place.

This place is beautiful and the staff is amazing just like the owner, Meiliege. I mostly go to get my hair cut and colored. Meiliege, Moon and Gina all do a fantastic job!

I have very curly hair, always on the verge of frizz, and Kalie gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. She is knowledgable and very talented, and her love of what she does clearly shows in the result. I trust her judgement and highly recommend her. The fantastic haircut was followed up with a complementary birthday facial, which was absolute heaven. Christine took the time to ask many questions beforehand, and the products she chose for my skin type were perfect - my skin felt and looked noticeably different after the facial. The spa itself is beautifully done. The atmosphere is relaxing, spotless, and the staff is very polite. Oh, and the chairs at the hair washing stations give wonderful back massages! I left feeling like a new woman!

Today was my first time coming to The Metrospa. I can’t say that I’ve ever been treated so amazingly at a salon before. Jess my hairstylist was a rockstar and got me exactly what I was looking for. Got a massage from Alicia. Before i went in, I was extremely sore, having lower back pain and complete full body muscle soreness. When I left I could feel a substantial difference but the real results came the next day after waking up. I awoke with no soreness or pain in my lower back. In fact, I was able to crack my back which I havent been able to do in months because of the tightness in my back. I dont usually leave reviews but felt she was truly deserving of one. I will definately be returning again. Thank Alicia
