It has been a community market for yearsI remember Riviera in this same location decades ago.

I know were everything at and that great for my medical problem in and out.

Could have a better selection of products. Most of the products thats in their sales paper are not on the selves.

It has gotten better over the years. I may get a few things out of here but I love Meijers 😆

Good place for ice and great assortment of fruits and vegetables. As well as other groceries.

They generally have what Im looking for and their in A location thats close to my home and a phew Parks near the riverfront. Its never really too busy and it shouldnt take long for you to get your groceries or meds; basically what ever your trying to get took care of. Just try not to get too stressed out by one of their cashiers. Trust me youll know the one.

I used to love this store back when it was Rivera. I remember frequent trips to the grocery store with my mother, and because we were regulars, the workers were always welcoming, friendly, and polite. Since the change, the service has continued to plummet. I now only come to this store by request of my mom. The cashiers, especially the one who works at register one, short, long hair, bright lipstick, is always rude. She never speaks, and she snatches your money out of your hand. One day I came to make a purchase, and forgot I’d locked my card while making a debit card purchase, and so the first time my card ran through it declined my card. Instead of being understanding, she rolled her eyes, and sighed heavily like I was wasting her time. I try to avoid her at all cost when coming here, but it seems like she’s one of their main cashiers so she’s always around. Another issue I have is I’m starting to see expired food on the shelves. This never happened when Rivera was around. It’s like the owners of this store no longer care for the community. I look forward to either Meijer or Kroger breaking ground, because I’m to the point where I’ll start driving outta the city to look for decently priced fresh foods, and good customer service.

Excellent customer service!! Walked in and was welcomely greeted by Johnny the manager he was extremely generous and helped me out with everything. Everything is stocked up to date and fresh. Johnny and Antonio are the best great service and amazing store.

I love this store! Ive been shopping here since I was 19 n now Im 61. I love the meat department.

Best Thing: They will exchange cash for quarters, which is great b/c they are nearby and I need quarters for laundry.Good for quick non-perishable needs, or the occasional forgotten stick of butter, heavy cream, or seasoning needed for a recipe. I have never purchased produce b/c it doesnt look very fresh (over-ripe/wilted/browning is common). Would not buy meat.

This Market has been here for a long time. Indian Village Market still have some great sales on food. Keep up the good work Ill be back.

A full-offering grocery store on E. Jefferson Ave, and thats quite uncommon. There are only 3 that Im aware of between downtown and Grosse Pointe Park.Its a great addition to the community.

Old produce wont last a day in your refrigerator! Get it home and its already dying! Products always dusty. Dont believe me? Just go walk through an aisle

Nice staff. Very wide selection for a small store. The fresh fruit and veggies are over priced but this not uncommon for up and coming neighborhoods. Its good for a local grocery store. Wish they had a deli!

Its nice and clean but the cashiers are terrible and not friendly. Its like they doing you a favor for cashing you out. They should work on their look little bit and not to eat while cashing people out.

My neighborhood store. Lately, the building needs some repairs. And more diverse foods. And tomatoes not refrigerated.

Closest grocery store to my house. Some things are more expensive because its a smaller store. However, they have awesome sales all the time. IE: recently scored apple cider for $1.99 a gallon. Also, they have a Western Union there, utility bills can be paid there, and you can get money orders for 25 cents.

Prices on dairy are higher than popular markets. Good fresh chicken. They sell outdated clearance priced too high. Some clerks arent friendly. It serves the area, nothing impressive.

This is my normal stop for groceries. Prices are very affordable and on my budget, that means repeat business! I do have to say that the vegetables there always look wilted. Whoever they vend with for their produce, they need to fire them. Outside of that, they have just about everything else you would want. The only real downer is the parking lot arrangement. Its really lacking, people park however they want which leaves even less parking. The staff is friendly and the prices are low so Im willing to put up with the parking irregularities.
