This is a wonderful neighborhood market. Ive been shopping here for almost 20 years. The store has great prices along with a great selection of quality food. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Not to mention this store has great store hours! And the owners are amazing! Not only are they providing excellent service to their customers, but they are also help out in the community through generous food donations. They have assisted my church Union Grace with our canned food drives and our Turkey drive. I just love them to death! May God continue to bless them as they as they have been such a blessing to others.

I have been coming to Grand Price for 9 years now. I have seen them grow into the wonderful business they are today. I love their fresh and delicious foods from their meats to their fruits. Me and my family go there to cash checks, buy liquor and to play the lottery. They even have a fresh deli with really good food. I just really love the store and the people over all.

Id been pass there several times and I noticed how it was such a bright star in a blighted area of the city....on the day I stopped I was totally blown away at the cleaniest of the store, the stellar wine and alcohol collection, fresh food and reasonable prices...I felt if I was in one of the most exclusive areas of the Detroit Metro area....the community should thank the owners for being an example of how a business should be ran in Detroit :)

Watch your Expiration dates and use by dates at these stores. Especially on sales Items. I went in to their sister store Food town on Wyoming & Joy Rd. Today and the had boxes of Bisquick mix best by date of 4/2019. i told the guy and his response was that is why they were marked down. I told him no they can not be sold after those dates and it was out dated by 7 months and he put them back on the shelf. These people put these stores in our neighborhoods to make our money and at the same time kill us with bad food. if you have no other choice but to shop there or at any neighborhood grocery store look at the dates. You deserve better then to be sold garbage.

Grand price is the best grocery store to find all of your daily needs. Grand Price was very giving as well they help out in the community where needed I couldn’t imagine not having grand price I have been coming to this market since I was a child now I’m a adult and I bring my family here to shop I feel right at home entering the door.

I love this store! It isn’t black owned but you wouldn’t be able to tell because they cater to US... the fruit is always fresh and sweet, vegetables as well. The cashiers are friendly and have been there for years. I love that I feel known from precious conversations held at checkout! Prices aren’t as good as greenfield market but the energy is wayyy better, so I’ll pay a little bit more for a little more space literally and mentally. Lol.

I recently bought lobster tails from here...the meat of the lobster tail was grey with black spots and white wormy things thats not suppose to be in lobster tails (i buy this all the time) ...i also bought salmon too and although the salmon was bright red it smelled so bad so did the crab legs that were frozen.....im so dissapointed. Never going back.

I visited this establishment on Sunday, July 7. I stood in line for extended period of time waiting to be serviced. When I finally reached the register, I spoke to the cashier and received no response. She proceeded with completing the transaction and handed me receipt all without saying a single word. I called the store and spoke with Omar. He asked if I could come back to the store and he would take care of me for the inconvenience. I agreed. I went back to the store today and Omar wasnt in. The other manager told me that Omar did not mention our conversation which lasted NEARLY 20 MINUTES! He said go ahead and shop and I will take care of you when your done. He said, I want you to get excellent service. I got to the register and he said that will be $5.09. I was stunned!! First I pay forbbad service and I guess today I paid for his service with a smile?? I was lied to and mistreated throughout the entire experience. I cannot in good faith shop there anymore or recommend to anyone else to patronize this store. Proximity cannot be the only reason to spend money. I believe that people think they can build a store in a black neighborhood that they dont live in, lie and treat the residents like garbage and make a profit!!! This has to stop. I WILL NEVER ALLOW MANAGEMENT AT ANY STORE TO LIE AND BE DECEITFUL AGAIN. NO THANKS. I WILL DRIVE TO SOUTHFIELD OR LIVIONIA TO BUY GROCERIES.

I actually stumble on it on this market, they were opened late. Immediately when you walk in u get this family friendly vibe from the cashiers. As I was walking in other customers were greeting some on the cashiers by name, which say a lot about the store. I needed to find something and the cashier helped me right away, while she was still ringing up and engaging with the customer in her line at the time. Meat was fresh and store was clean. I wish I could give 5 stars but I did have tow issues. 1 a couple of the newer cashiers are rude, or really uninterested, no friendly vibe. That’s when I noticed customers wouldn’t go to those girls, only to the cashiers who have been there longer. 2nd issue is sometimes;not all the time I smell an horrible smell by the ice cream cooler don’t know what that is but hope the store fixes the problem .

Rude customer service. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and the store was a bit crowded. As I started to check out the casher made a rude comment about the amount of people in the store saying I forgot it was the fifth. This implies that the store was only crowded because it was a day that many people get their food stamp benefits. Instead of making slick comments she should be grateful that the store is still open and that many people shop there so she could still have a job. I expect to hear rude comments in a crowded grocery store but not from the employees. Its very uncomfortable and unnecessary. Some things are better left thought and not said.

Always have deals!!!! We scored a 64ozish bottle of Simply Orange for 1 dollar, yep 1 dollar. Always deals going on just browse the stores
