They have some nice stuff even though its kind of overpriced. Ive bought a couple pairs of really nice shoes and theyve given me a hard time each time it seems like about not giving them my email address. First time they act like they didnt even want to complete the purchase without my email address. Anyway needed a pair of coveralls. Walked in this morning it was slow there was like three or four employees. They basically ran for me didnt look at me didnt say anything to me didnt offer to help me. So that was no help to pay a huge markup on something plus it being overpriced on top of that. I really like looking around in here and Ive enjoyed buying some shoes here but I wont be back with the level of service Ive experienced.

G and L was the best clothes and boot store in Des Moines, was locally owned and amazing. They sold to Boot Barn and it now is horrible. Nothing like G and L. Customer service is really bad. When it was G and L you were greeted and helped without asking. Now you are never acknowledged. I will never go to Boot Barn again. I will order my clothes online.

There was a manufacturers defect in the boots that I purchased. The staff was able to assist me in getting a pair that is actually an upgrade, and I only had to pay the difference. I buy a pair of boots on average every 8 months so I will definitely be coming back.

G and L was the place to go, now its just a normal boot barn, just a bunch of boots on shelves , people that dont know anything, and the big and tall work clothes is pretty much non existant.

Union discount, same as G&L, very helpful staff, points on purchases, Thorogood Boots in stock, big selection of Carhart clothes. Ill definitely return for more work wear.

The clothing selection is bad, and the customer service was even worse. The prices are terribly over priced. No selection of clothing for people that are plus sized. I will not be shopping at this store anytime soon.

Terrible customer service. Went to return a few items from the Holiday Season , for in store credit. Went home and tried to order an item from their online store. Checked my balance and it was zero dollars , went into the store and tried to get the problem resolved politely. The sales associate before did not know how to properly give in store credit and I lost $50 due to in proper training. Management did not even apologize for the mistake , will not be returning anytime soon !
