John was my service person. John is an excellent employee he goes beyond the call of duty. John took the time to explain everything very thoroughly. I’m having some more work done I requested John and waited till he was available. I will always request John !! John is a valuable asset!!!

Great when installed, but less than a year later I am having multiple problems with several aspects of the system and cant get a call back. I dont feel safe leaving because its not working.

The installer did a great job installing. The reason for the one star is that he did not reveal prior to coming into my home for nearly 2 hours that he was NOT vaccinated against COVID, putting my 90+ mother and others in my home at risk. Didnt appreciate it.

Total rip off. You get nothing for your money. I received a call asking to renew my contract and I said if my contract is up I want to cancel. The rep said I was month to month now and no longer in a contract so we processed the cancellation. A few days later I received a bill for $180 for early cancellation.

Unless you want your money stolen and name forged on documents, dont waste your time! A tech forged my name to get a sell and then when I tried to cancel, they said it was $1700!!!! I promise it isnt worth it and as soon as my contract is over, Im done!!!! Fine a security company that cares!!!! Because ADT doesnt care about you or anyone else one bit and they wont think twice about taking your money without your permission!!!! Scam artists at their finest!!!!

We have now been with adt for 5 years and if you are installing this you should take the time to discus with your spouse if the person selling you the product says it will be $25 less if you do not discuss with your spouse you should not sign up. For a product to go off 2 times at 4:00 in the morning creating panic in the household instead of creating a sense a peace knowing your family is safe. I do not recommend adt and am very upset that they have you pay over $485 to get out of your contract! What kind of company is this???

Kyle Shepherd of ADT made the installation of this system possible in a new building constructed on the site. ADT already had a fine system in the house and I only use ADT in all my California homes. This was in Iowa, again terrific service and equipment that works reliably.Because I could never get a land line to the shop, constant delays and excuses, Kyle solved it for me and installed a wireless system. Hhe did not need to work that hard for me as Im sitting I CA and hes working away in Iowa. While we waited for power to be run into this building he was patience and did not refuse to cooperate.I would always choose ADT again and again as Ive had this in multiple homes since maybe 1975 and I shall not switch companies. Their monitoring system works and that is the purpose of the alarm. If you dont set it when you leave that is not ADTs fault is it? Nope.

I got a call from a “local sales rep” after I had spoken with someone at the 1-800 number to get general info about services. The sales rep that called me was extremely pushy and rude, and sent several texts to my cell phone after I ended the call. He advised me to call him directly “when I changed my mind” so that I wouldn’t have to “monkey around with the idiot 800 number”. Very unprofessional and completely changed my mind about going with ADT for my home security needs.

Horrible customer service ... I am a current customer of ADT and have been for several years. We wanted some upgrades to our system. I was on hold with 2 difference customer service reps. Got dropped by both of them. I thought I would be able to speak with someone in the local ADT office. Apparently not. Id think twice about using ADT in the future ... am definitely thinking about switching security firms.

They approached us about a security system - after two meetings agreed on a price and install date. This was for a commercial building that they had looked at. After taking money from us they have failed to show or refund are money - they refuse to provide a valid reason why and now will not even return are phone call. The Corp office has been no help in providing why this is taking place. Suggest you avoid ADT based on lack of accountability and failure to follow their own contract terms.
