Customer service was outstanding! The phone was ringing off the hook and the young man working this evening was handling everything alone. He taught my son how to change the wiper blade once the store slowed down.

I came in frustrated from being at the parts store next door. Eric immediately helped me find the size wipers I needed and recommended which ones to get based on my needs/weather. Very attentive right away. As it was dark and cold and snowing- I was struggling to get my new blades on and Daniel came out to go on his break but helped me get my blades on first. Very happy and impressed.

Super friendly and they fixed my taillight for me.

We traveled from Missouri to Iowa for a conference held in Des Moines on Saturday, 15 August 2020. After the meeting was over, my truck had to be jumped. Just around the corner, I pulled into Auto Zone on Merle Hay. Daniel K. provided for every need to get my truck running with a new battery. I told him I wanted the best battery Auto Zone carries and he installed it quick as a whistle. The guy knew what he was doing and went the extra mile! He was courteous, respectful, wore his mask, and really did Auto Zone proud! Gentleman working was very knowledgeable and he was one of the friendliest automotive workers Ive ever met.

Great place, friendly workers. Hit a pothole tire went flat. But wouldnt come off the wheel assembly. Went to get some Fix-A-Flat to try and get it going again. Asked if they had a rubber mallet I could borrow to try and get the rim off. Not only did he offer me the mallet but when he couldnt find one in the back, he took one off the shelf and let me borrow it. It works beautifully I got the rim off change the tire went on about my day. Even though it cost them the sale of the fix a flat they were extremely friendly and helpful courteous and all-around Good Guys in general. Highly recommend this place.

Went in for a thermostat and gasket, they did not have gasket in stocks. The guy called another AutoZone and had them hold it for me, gave me discount for me having to travel to another store.

Scott at Autozone on Merle Hay was AMAZING. Helped changed my windshield wipers that I was struggling to figure out on my own in less than 20 minutes and then on top of that helped get my back windshield wiper sprayer to work and spray properly. Will definitely be back!

They took the time to help us out and very friendly about it ,they deserve a raise for sure!!

Power steering line needed Douglas store had 1 opened and missing parts so sent me Merle hay store waited 20 min for them to tell me they can’t find one that says it’s in stock....2 days later looking for wheel bearing. Out of stock on Douglas sent me too Merle hay again, and again 20 min of searching found no part that was supposed to be in stock... a little communication among stores would have made life easier

Didnt have right parts.

Needed a tail light and the parts guy even put it in when it was pouring down rain. He went above and beyond. He wouldnt even take a tip. GREAT SERVICE!

Helped with battery replacement on stupid cold day!!

Our trip to MN was interrupted by a major issue with our truck while towing our 5th wheel. After calling several auto shops, we found the part that we thought might be the problem Auto Zone on Merle Hay rd. Scott hooked us up to the computer and the code indicated a different part... one which they did not have. Scott called several places to track down the needed part. Definitely went above and beyond to help us and even walked us through changing the part out. Thank you Scott for all your help!

Thanks for testing my battery and letting me know whats wrong with my car.

Out of stock on the battery I needed (understandable due to the cold weather). Told me they would have one by 9:30 the next morning, and they would call me when it came in. After no call, I called them at 11:00am, and they told me it would be there at 1:45pm. I went in at 2:10pm and they told me they wouldnt have it until 3:30. I came back at 4:15 and they rang up the battery for me. While ringing up the battery, Tim showed me a product that he explained was supposed to keep the contacts clean (he didnt mention a cost or even ask if I wanted it) and then he rang that up too. Due to the poor customer service, I wont be back.

Parts are way too find and customer service was great.

They helped diagnose my issues very quickly! Thankfully it was just a air filter replacement! They even helped me do the job. They know their stuff! I can see myself having a beer with each of the employees.

Great location and hours are very expansive. They werent able to help me with my battery since its a hybrid, but DeMarcus was very friendly and helpful by giving me his informed opinion and advice on what my issue may be. Thanks to DeMarcus, Ill be back.

Wiper blades are really expensive and wiper fluid is cheaper at the grocery store. They install the blades, so thats worth something.
