They have quite a nice selection of fresh meats cheeses and pickled jar items breads crackers and international chocolates. Very helpful butcher. Very nice location and people

Best Russian store in Denver! Homemade Russian food is super delicious! Specially recommend the Brown bread, belly fat, cakes with cabbage and dairy products.

This is a great Russian market with genuine Russian food, including homemade piroshki, vareniki, pelmeni, and more. The staff is so friendly as well. Love this place!

This is THE BEST Eastern European/Russian store in Colorado.Everything is always super fresh, selection can’t be any better (I used to go to several different stores to get everything I needed but Black Sea has everything in one place), and most importantly, the staff is SO pleasant and friendly - they are truly wonderful people, and I can’t thank them enough for putting their heart and soul in this wonderful store and providing such a quality customer service.Their deli is amazing, there are always new items to try!My favorite to go items: farmers cheese, marinated herring, chocolate covered cheesecake bites, cheese with walnuts, freshly baked bread (especially the one with sunflower seeds), smoked fish, caviar, and zefir to name a few!I can’t think of any cons for this location so I definitely recommend it to anyone who is new to the area and looking for a Russian store or just anyone who is looking for unique delicious food!

I don’t know if it was because we weren’t Russian but we did not have a good experience. Came here to try new things and were greeted by two ladies outside giving us dirty looks. We went inside looked around and they did not say a word to us or even smiled & just looked at us with dirty looks the whole time. Makes you not want to support this business.

I like to be here during holiday seasons because I can catch something very very nice for presents.

My first impression was that this place was kind of small, and i was afraid it would have a small selection. It had the essentials, and I was happy to see they also serve pre-made foods (chebureki, etc.). The owners sealed the deal for me and were so nice and complimentary of my attempts at speaking broken Russian. We got to talking a little bit and it really left a charming impression on the whole experience. Even though its smaller than other Russian markets, it has everything i need in Russian groceries and is my preferred location.

I frequent this place and it became much better under new management.

The best SHUBA!!!I already about gave up on American store bought shuba but THIS ONE... She promised I wont have to look for seledka and I didnt. Its FILLED with it like it supposed to be.I also like their pirozhki because theyre baked, not fried like in most Russian storesAand they had my favourite filling that I couldnt find anywhere too- egg and green onion.Definitely recommend. If you want a taste of home, youll love this place.
