I’ve been taking my car to Import Mechanics for a couple of years. They are very consistent, professional, always fair and great at communicating any repair issues or needs, and they charge fair prices. It’s not cheap (reasonable for sure) but the quality of work and honest advice is far more important. The shop is clean and visually appealing and I’d recommend this to anyone. They also give back to the community! Awesome job!

The same mechanic has been servicing my 42-year old S-class Benz for 20+ years. It recently was in 3 feet of basement water after a rupture in a water supply line. I figured a total loss, but they literally took the trunk and cabin apart to dry and put it back together—seats, console, floorboards, door panels, everything. The radio and starter were replaced, other repairs made, and they did it all for less than the adjuster had paid to me for repairs. Highest marks for integrity and quality work.

After going to G&G for years, Jeremy closed up shop and I panicked because I trusted Jeremy with my Audi and VDubs and no one else. He recommended I check out Import Mechanics and on his rec, I did. I’ve not taken my Audi any where else since. They’ve been professional, honest, and informative about everything and when I purchased my newest used A3, they inspected it as a complimentary service for me. They are friendly and timely and makes me feel comfy every time I bring my car in for services. Car stuff isn’t cheap and especially for Audi/VW so I’m relieved and thankful to have these guys work on my beloved ride.

If you want honest and friendly local mechanics that run a clean shop in central Denver, The Import Mechanics fits the bill. It almost seems too good to be true that their fees run in a range thats comparable to most shops in the area. Theyre my go to for my car every time and always have cars in the bays with skillful mechs working round the clock on jobs. My last job took a while longer than originally thought, but they kept in touch with updates throughout and even followed up with me the day after I picked up the car to see if all was ok.

I take both my Benz, and Subaru to The import mechanics. I’ve had everything done from basic maintenance, to main seal replacement. Always upfront about the project at hand and what it will cost. 9/10 times the final bill will be 2-4% lower than the estimate! 10/10 would recommend if you’re in the Denver area, and want reliable work done on your euros or tuners!

I been here a few times to take my car purchased from the Import Warehouse here. Brad (service manager) has always been very helpful and willing to get my car back on the road as soon as possible, he even offered to have someone work on a weekend to finish a job that ran a little over, but it wasnt needed. Overall a very good shop with pretty competitive shop costs. I would recommend if youre in the area and need work done.

Ive had the pleasure of working with Brad and Miles over the year and I appreciate their professionalism and concern for their customers. Great service and good prices. They worked well with my warranty company and never pressured me into repairs. Most recently I had taken my car to a nearby mechanic due to misfiring and was told I had to replace injectors, spark plugs, and 02 sensors before they could tell me if the catalytic converters were also bad. A pretty big bill to determine if an even larger one was in store. So glad I took it to Import Mechanics because they are savvy enough to test the catalytic converters and confirmed they were bad. While I didnt end up doing all the repairs because it cost more than my car (or a better used one), Im taking all my future business to this shop. Theyre great!

I took my car to Audi dealership for airbag warranty and was told I needed brakes. 9 months later import mechanics said my brakes finally needed to be replaced. I trust them totally.

Their prices are much, much better compared to other euro shops, but parts are still parts and rarely are import repairs cheap. Services like oil changes and general maintenance are very reasonable. After taking my Audi to two dealers and 3 Audi Certified mechanics I now only use The Import Mechanics. TIM mechanics really know their cars and it gives me comfort to see them working on high end imports and some classic imports. The quality of their work is outstanding and they meet one of my most important criteria for a mechanic--the shop is clean and well organized. What I have been charged is always reasonable and they do not push to do work that is not needed.We can only hope that the construction boom in Denver doesnt does not push TIMs out for a new condo.

Best customer service experience Ive ever had at a mechanic shop. John could not have been nice over the phone so I took my Audi into his shop. I was immediately greeted by John and his mechanic, Bill. Bill and I took my car for a spin, and Bill quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and had me back on the road all within 25 minutes.When I asked what I owed, John replied, nothing. I had such a great experience at Import Mechanics and it is now my go to mechanic in Denver. I previously had my broken air conditioning diagnosed at another mechanic shop and was told it was a broken air compressor. After taking it into Import Mechanics they told me it was a completely different problem, that was actually much cheaper to fix! These guys are incredible and saved our cross country raft trip! We were passing through Denver and ran into unexpected car troubles. Import Mechanics let us park our trailer in their locked parking lot while the car was fixed. They squeezed us in and had the vehicle diagnosed, located a salvage transfer case, and had it installed the next business day. Total cost was 1/4 VW dealership price. Great benefit of buying a car at Import Warehouse is that you also get to know the shop that can help out with any work you may need or oil changes and normal maintenance. I purchased and X5 with these guys and had a great experience. I have also entrusted Jake with my new baby, a Macan Turbo and could not feel more confident about his skills. Jake is trained to work on nice machines but if you ask nicely he’ll even take a look at concerns on the family beater pickup truck to help assure it will work when needed and most importantly keep you safe. I definitely recommend these guys!

My car had busted a major oil leak and they were able to quickly diagnose the issue and repair with the existing parts and keep the cost to only a little bit of labor. I bring all of my cars, and family members cars, to the Import Mechanics because I know the job will get done right at a fair price.

Shopped around, and got a couple of estimates. Put the repair off, due to estimate amounts. My wife is a dental assistant; telling me about a patient who is a principal at IM. I gave them a call, and drove out of my way for an estimate that was many hundreds of dollars less than the ones I had previously. The staff there is very friendly and easy to work with. They completed the work on my Kia, in a timely and efficient manner. I am very happy with the job that they did; highly recommending their business.

I have been coming here for years and they service all my vehicles (that were purchased from The Import Warehouse). Service here is top notch with much more reasonable pricing than dealerships. Loaner cars are available as needed and I also recommend setting appointments if possible since they can get very busy. These guys only repair what is needed with great communication on what is being done and how much it will cost. Theyre very honest and do not perform unnecessary repairs/maintenance.

Great Experience! - I took my 2003 E320 Mercedes for an oil change and I definitely got the feel of a local mechanic in a quality environment. Staff was sincere and polite. I asked the team to suggest any service that might be needed soon and they did it without an issue. Once they pulled my car out of the bay they showed me each problem and let me hear, feel, and see the problems for myself. They also prioritized the issues so I would know what to focus on first. The wait area was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I believe they might have even had free wifi, too! Apart of every oil change they also donate money to a charity of my choice (a list to choose from). I appreciate the social responsibility. Its been a relief to find a good quality mechanic, being that Im new to Denver!

Located right downtown near the library and Denver Art Museum, The Import Mechanics are conveniently located if you need your car serviced. I went in not having a clue what was wrong with my 2002 Honda Civic and they diagnosed it right away (turned out to be the AC compressor…). They were kind, patient, and knowledgeable about my vehicle. They even ordered the part right on the spot and shopped around to get the best price! Theyre great, honest people who certainly value their customers.

We were referred to the Import Mechanics by a friend. We set an appointment to have them look at several items and do routine maintenance on our 2008 Mercedes which was a great experience. We also had our lift gate that wasnt working properly and Mercedes Benz of Littleton said that we would need to have the motor replaced for $600, but when the Import Mechanics said it was just low on fluid and fixed it for free, I knew we were at the right place. We would highly recommend them for any of your car maintenance needs.

This is a first rate operation from point of sale to a routine oil change and beyond. They can service whatever you drive and do it according the the original specifications. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff and they will bend over backwards to be accomodating. They even order an Uber for you if you cant wait for the work to be done. I highly recommend.

Ive never enjoyed the place where I get my car serviced as much as I have at The Import Mechanics. They take the time to talk to me about what my car needs for both long and short term needs. Took my BMW 5 Series in when it wouldn’t start, they showed me exactly what the problem was and didn’t try to upsell me or anything like that! Very ethical guys here that do great work.

I always felt their estimates were on the expensive side. They lean towards doing absolutely everything, rather than just what is necessary, so if you have plenty of money and want perfection I do think this is the shop for you, but I dont think they are very cost-efficient.My B5 S4 developed a major oil leak behind the crank case. Their quote came to a little under $4K to fix the issue (including other highly recommended fixes). IM advised me that I might as well donate the car. A second shop quoted me $2,400, considerably less. I decided to sell the car as is, and got $3K cash, with a number of lower offers on the table. Im glad I didnt take IMs advice to donate the car - perhaps they werent familiar with used market values for this year/mileage. Regardless, not a great experience for me, but they are a professional and nice team.

Michael and team do a fantastic job of communicating and executing on schedule and estimates. I could not have found a better pit crew and team mate. Most importantly, I truly appreciate their honesty.

These guys are legit. After being told by the VW dealership that I needed a new catalytic converter, I took my car here and they set me straight. I didnt need the $1,200+ part. In fact my car was in great shape! They even encouraged me to go get an emissions test to double check that they were right and the dealership was just taking me for a ride. These guys are honest and efficient. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else...

The Import Mechanics are truly the best around!!!! I have been coming to the shop for the last 6 months as an alternative to the dealership for my BMW 745LI. I have been beyond pleased with the job Michael, Eric, & Andy have done with my vehicle.The customer service here is an absolute relief compared to anywhere I have been. The staff is extremely knowledgable about the vehicles they service & they give you every option possible regarding correcting any issue your car may have.They take the time to answer any question you have and I truly feel like they treat my car as if it were their own!!!As far as pricing on labor and parts, they have done work for me at HALF, literally HALF of what I was quoted at the dealership for parts & labor!!!! The Import Mechanics have been excellent in taking care of my 2005 A6. They helped me select the car through a pre-purchase inspection- gave me the green light on the second used A6 I brought them (the first they detected a laundry list of problems that were invisible to me). Since that time, I have had a few issues with the car, but they have been exceptional in their ability to provide great service and accommodate my schedule- even giving me a loaner for a day trip I had planned.Customer service is top notch. I have been very happy with Michael and the gang- dont hesitate to give them a shot.

THE BEST, I repeate THE BEST European shop in not only Denver but the state. Hands down. The pricing, the quality of work, and the quality of parts ( which many shops cut corners on to save money) will leave you feeling confident in driving anywhere in your vehicle. The service managers Brad and John are extremely personable and are not the type of service advisors that will attempt to sell you things that you do not need. The guys at Import Mechanics are honest, reliable and knowledgeable. I will never take my Audis to anyone else.

After first assuring me that they could repair my Toyota, I made an appointment and dropped off my vehicle as planned. However, they had subsequently lost my appointment information and didnt leave me a message during the day to again ask what they were supposed to be repairing. So when I went to pick my car up at the end of the day, they had not done any work on the car. Had they even bothered to start up the car, they would have noticed the large warning light on the dashboard that indicated the issue needing to be investigated. They then tried to schedule a new appointment, but then after describing the problem to them a third time time, they finally realized that because their Japanese repair specialist had quit, they likely wouldnt be able to repair my Toyota after all and suggested I take it to the dealer. It was a huge waste of my time and incredibly poor customer service.

I took my Jaguar in for repairs at the import mechanics in Denver and i was pleased that i didnt get screwed. You know how some mechanics are. I was especially impressed with Brad he knows his stuff didnt cost me an arm and a leg. They are very fair and flexible. If you are in Denver and need repairs on your import dont go anywhere else. Im frustrated with Michael(Service advisor and mechanic) at this time for not testing the motor in my A4 before removing it from the vehicle. I asked him to test it more then once. I know he didnt run tests cause while I was looking at the motor on the floor of the Import Mechanics shop Michael pulls the timing cover and takes out the broken timing belt. The timing belt broke while in motion. I understand that this can cause significant damage in some cases. But not all. I went ahead and turned the crank. It turned with ease while the motor was on the ground. There was no knocking sound while turning the crank. The mechanic would not give me a clear view of the valves stems. Therefore the mechanic did not have a clear view of the valve stems. The valve stems are what normally get damaged in cases like this. He did scan the system and the only error code that came up was a timing error code. Today is February 20, 2016 Im facing a $5,500 repair and the shop takes the motor out of my vehicle before running any test. Doesnt feel honest.

Found this mechanic on Yelp they are great fast and reasonably priced. I have a Audi A4 its nice to find a honest mechanic close to the city. They even have bikes you can barrow while they work on your car!

I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys. I have a Volkswagen beetle and have brought her in 3 times (three separate issues) in the past 9 months. Being female, and knowing nothing about the workings of Volkswagens, I was happy to find a mechanic that does honest, trustworthy work.I lived in Houston, TX (originally from Denver! NOT a Texan, had to throw that disclaimer out there!) and have had to take my car to 3 different places for the same issue, one claiming to specialize in servicing only Volkswagens, and still couldnt get it fixed correctly. Broken CV axle that kept breaking. I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time and saw The Import Mechanics red beetle driving by and got their info. I called and made an appointment.Thank goodness I did because not only do they do quality work, they guarantee it. Alan and Michael are so patient and knowledgeable and explained everything in detail, even I understood what they were taking about. Not only did they fix the issues the other mechanics couldnt, they addressed any concerns I may have had about the car. They do great work at reasonable prices. Im glad I found them!

I highly recommend The Import Mechanics.I took a used Porsche here for a pre-purchase inspection (something you should do before purchasing ANY used car). Brad, their Porsche expert, spent about three hours poking and prodding the car in places that I didnt even know existed, and ultimately recommended not to buy the vehicle based on his findings - advice which I gladly heeded. Had I not taken the vehicle here, I would be left with an expensive car likely requiring very expensive repairs down the road. In the end, I was only charged about $68 for the inspection, which is remarkably cheap for how thorough it was.I will definitely be taking any European imports Im interested in purchasing here in the future.Nile also provided great service in the waiting area, including an excellent recommendation to a nearby cafe for lunch. I have a place to take my GTI from now on!I came here after previous mechanics at another shop shut my already damaged hood latch to a point it couldnt be opened myself. A repair long overdue from a previous incident. These guys were quick, kept in contact and the status of my repairs, and fixed my hood at a very reasonable price. I got my car back sparkling clean and with a heads up about a minor leak in my rear window. They even installed a new headlight bulb I had sitting around on the dash and patched some upholstery pulling from my door!Thanks so much to the crew (especially Bill) who took great care of my car. I will be back in the future as long as Im driving my Volkswagen.

Ive always had a pleasant experience at the Import Mechanics. Ive been brining my A4 there for a while and they are always friendly, fair and clear about whats going on with my car.

I usually take my car here for oil changes and tune ups.Everytime the experience is great I just had my brakes and rotors done and am happy to say that it was all done very well never had a problem with this shop always treated great and work is great.

Could not be happier with my experience here! After the dealership told me it would cost $500 to fix a failing boost control valve i brought it here because they said they could replace it for $180. When i brought it in they discovered it wasnt even the vavle that was the issue it was simply a kinked hose. 100 bucks for labor and road test and i was out the door. thanks guys!!

Brought my corolla here because the steering wheel was vibrating, even though my wheels had been balanced. They insisted that the wheels werent balanced and the alignment was bad, and that was the issue. I paid $200 for balancing and alignment, and the first time I drove it on a highway, it started making a clicking noise and I has to get the car towed. When I took it back, they fixed it, and when I asked what was wrong, I got 3 different bs excuses that the wheels werent balanced properly, and a lugnut was loose, and they just had to do a couple things. They said the took it for a test drive after fixing it, but the issue still isnt fixed.
