This team is incredibly professional and HONEST. I went first to another shop nd received a quote for thousands of dollars more, telling me I needed a significant amount more work. The South Denver Automotive team did a full diagnostic, and the issue was resolved for a very reasonable amount. I am new to Denver and an say that I have found my new auto repair shop for all my car repair needs.

Staff and service was exceptional. Everyone who assisted me from the time I dropped my car off to pickup was kind, knowledgeable, professional, got me in and out in the morning with a loaner car so I could get back to work quickly, transparent with what was needed, costs, timeframe. Got things done quickly and pickup was before rush hour 🙏 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Had an oil change and 60 mile service on my Audi. They quoted me prices and thoroughly explained each recommended service before getting my okay to move forward. I’ve been going to another shop with the same owner for years and know he is as trustworthy and honest as they come.

I brought my car in due to a rattle/ banging sound that is very distinct in the rear of my car. I was told that they fixed the issue and when I got there and drove my car around the block, the noise was still there. I was told you drive a jeep they are made of plastic so they are loud. I am very aware that there are common squeak in my car from a previous detailing I got done weeks before, but a distinct rattling sound has absolutely nothing to do with cleaning services that were done with the car. I was charged for the service done on my car, but I shouldve been told that they did not fix the rattling sound in my car. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and transparency that was said about my vehicle.

After visiting South Denver Automotive, I was unhappy with services at first, but Mike immediately reached out and wanted to help solve what needed to be fixed. I was extremely appreciative of the time he took to reach out to me. The customer care here will be remember for future services and was happy that Mike was persistent to make services right.

Recent update: Honest and trustworthy. My friend got a flat. One place tried to sell her a rim and a tire for $2,000. Another place quoted the tire for $100 and installation for $500. I suggested SDA and they quoted $200 for tire and installation but it ended up only needing a patch job. They have another repeat customer for sure in my friend. Jason took really great care of her.

I normally do all my own maintenance on my vehicles, but in this case I didnt have the tools needed to fix my A/C system. I took it to another company that specialize in A/C and felt like I got brushed off, So I decided to give these folks a shot, we set an appointment, they got it in, gave me a call with a quote for the repair. It was reasonable, I went with it and couldnt be more happy with everything. The staff, the work, the price and the follow up. All top notch!!!

Very friendly and helpful place. My car was dead and a me mechanic walked over to jump my car. No questions or fees asked. When I realized I needed a new battery they were able to squeeze me in and have my car ready in no time.

Took one of my work vans here and they did a great job, albeit it seemed a bit pricey for a simple fuel pump replacement. Couple weeks ago I brought my gfs car in to get a dx on the suspension shaking, and mentioned Id probably take care of it myself if it was simple enough (Im a self taught home mechanic). The guy at the front desk told me to never tell a mechanic that. I explained theyd some a great job on my other van and would continue giving them my business (and my companys business), but for simpler things I could handle, but was willing to pay for a dx. He said they were basically going to do a poor job doing the dx. Low and behold, as I was working on the suspension today, I realized they had given me the wrong dx, probably on purpose, and now Im returning parts I ordered and getting other ones. If being dishonest with these guys is what they expect then that must be their MO as well. Thanks for letting me know I cant trust you guys. Wont be coming back or recommending.✌️

All seemed OK, except tire pressure warning light is illuminated. Two tire pressure readings are blank instead of showing psi numbers. We are out of town until August, and I will bring it in at that time.

Very friendly and willing to squeeze me in to put special, specific wipers on my car. I was concerned about big storm coming that night and they went above any beyond (they even had to special order them to arrive a few hours later) to help me!! I highly recommend them. I have been using this shop for many years and have always been very satisfied with their work. They stand behind their repairs and will make it right if there are any issues. Recently, they went out of their way to honor a warranty on replacement struts that were making noise on our Infiniti G35. I have been referring friends to them for many years. I used to do most of my own repairs but they have earned my trust so I no longer think twice about using them for all of our car repairs.

I searched and called probably 15 shops in the Denver area to work on my F150. Every single Ford dealership had a rating of 2 stars or less so I decided on this place. They got my truck back to me in perfect condition in only a day and a half. My granddaughter had mechanical issues with her Jeep. I took vehicle to South Denver Automotive and dealt with Jason. They inspected vehicle and gave me a estimate of the damage they found. They gave my granddaughter a loaner car to drive while repairs were made to her vehicle. I was impressed with Jason and the business for their handling of the repairs.

I’ve taken my Subaru for an oil change a couple of times, the first time, a day later I had smoke coming from my hood, they had spilled fluids all over the engine and I had to take it back to be cleaned up. The second time I went for an oil change and asked them to look things over.. they quoted me $2500 in necessary repairs and made it seem very dramatic like it needed to be done ASAP. I went to a different mechanic for a second opinion and they looked it over and said I only had $250 in repairs. I will never go back to South Denver Automotive.

I highly recommend South Denver Automotive! They have certified techs to work on a variety of automobile makes and their knowledge and professionalism is first rate. They truly care about their clients and their vehicles. Its very clear to me that their priority is to keep your car running well and safe for the long haul. They will tell you what you need, what you dont need and what items can wait and be watched. Their pricing is very fair and they are not out to gouge you on repairs. They build trust with their customers and that is a refreshing trait in todays world. Recently I had them get to the bottom of a wheel balancing problem I had with my Mercedes sedan. A dedicated tire shop just couldnt get the balance right, and I was concerned I had a wheel, suspension or alignment problem. South Denver took a look and knew how to fine tune the balance on my wheels and the balance is spot on now and the car drives like it is on glass! My car did need an alignment and they spotted some significant wear in a suspension component (its a 1999 sedan!) which needed to be addressed. They communicated well on their findings and their factory certified tech took care of my problems. Mike the manager is superb too! My bill was reasonable and my car drives like a dream. No matter what make you have, South Denver Automotive is a top quality, professional shop that can service your vehicle and keep it happily on the road for a long, long time. This auto repair shop is outstanding!

Unprofessional people that acted as if I didn’t know what I was talking about and couldn’t afford their service. Asked them to check one thing for me and they said that wasn’t the problem. I’ve been a mechanic for over 20 years and the only reason they had my car was because I had to fly out of town and couldn’t get it back to my garage.They are used to taking advantage of people who don’t know anything or very little about cars and bullying them into high price repairs.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have found the people and services at South Denver Auto. As a female who knows very little about cars, owns a 15 year old vehicle, and is on a tight budget, car maintenance and repair issues have always stressful. Finding South Denver Auto has taken out the stress. They take the time to listen to my concerns, help me understand what is wrong, decide what needs to be done urgently, and what could possibly wait until next time. I have taken all our vehicles to South Denver Auto for years. I have always enjoyed the personal service and trust their advice and work. This last visit was for a simple oil and filter change. A recent example that speaks for itself was a visit to have a backup camera in our Ford Expedition EL checked out. I had taken it to a local Ford dealership and had the camera replaced under a warranty about a year ago and had a lousy experience, not to mention a year later it was not working properly. Anyways, I took it in to South Denver Auto and left it with them. They checked it out and corrected a loose/bad connection. When I went to pick it up the tech explained what he found and I asked what I owed. They didn’t charge me. How often does that happen? I know it wasn’t a big job, but I guarantee it took at least an hour to get into the back hatch, fiddle with things to find the loose connection, and then button it back up. Car problems/issues are no fun, but I have had nothing but good experiences here.

My first experience with South Denver Auto Services Center has been a good one. I am the original owner of a 1989 Mazda 626 LX, so in car years, it is well over 100 years old! They agreed to work on my car and went the extra mile to download the specifications needed for a wheel alignment. It was easy doing business with them and my baby is back on the road, ready and willing to drive me around town for the next year. I plan to keep this car for local trips as long as I can -- or until parts are no longer available or something catastrophic happens. Hopefully, South Denver Automotive Service Center will lend a hand when needed.

The alternator gave out on our 2006 4Runner and the engine died on my dad right in front of this shop. The shop owner came out to help out my 75 year-old father and quickly diagnosed the problem. At almost 200,000 miles, it didn’t surprise us that they found additional repairs were needed including some major safety issues like the brakes and CV joints. We never felt any pressure to do any of the additional work, it was just thoughtfully and thoroughly presented to us for consideration. Their online estimate system allowed us to easily accept or decline each item on our own so we could work within our budget.Overall, we were absolutely amazed by the genuine concern, care, and professionalism we received from the staff and even the owner himself. These guys have certainly earned our trust and now we know where to go for future maintenance and repairs.

They left an amazing first impression- the owner, a very sweet and professional man called Chris, gave me a ride home in his personal vehicle after I dropped my car off for repairs. That was a really unique and generous example of good customer service. I had a very simple service done on my car, but here are the few places I would say are opportunities for improvement-This place is expensive. They do good work, but after giving me a quote on some of the other larger repairs my car will need, I was seeing prices 25-50% higher than what I had been quoted at other shops. It’s a local business so I get it and I was still happy to be supporting them, but I probably won’t return as I just can’t afford it. They also were a little slow, I had to take my car in for basically an emergency oil change therefore it wasn’t scheduled, I was a walk in, but they had my car a full 24 hours before it was ready for pickup. The communication in between wasn’t great, I got one call from them in that whole time letting me know an estimate on when they’d be done (although it turned out to be much later). They did tell me they were having some phone connection issues that day so this could’ve been the cause, its maybe not a consistent issue. Overall a decent shop that I would recommend to others

Brought car I just purchased in for a detailed inspection to make sure car was sound and safe to drive. Check in and check out process was smooth. When I reviewed the report later it stated they only did a “complete visual inspection “ only. “No diagnostic testing” was done. I’m not certain why I would pay $143 for an inspection and it not include a whole complete vehicle inspection to let me know everything. They did tell me how much they’d charge for the brake flush, rear shocks, etc but I’m worried if there is something I may be missing by not having a complete inspection performed. I will try to call again to make an appointment for the rest of it.

When it comes to your TRANSPORTATION, I think you need to trust the person working on it. I didnt trust the auto repair company I took my car to previously. But Mike took care of me and had me taken care of the same day. I’m also trusting them with my other car as well. I can tell they actually care about you and your car. From the time you come in, till you pick up your car. They also have an Ingenious way to protect you during this pandemic. I have found my guys.

South Denver auto inspected the brake system to the point where they were able to give me the remaining pad life on each of the discs. They also test drove vehicle. Broke down around the corner at the end of their day and although they don’t service Volvo’s take a look at the engine and added much needed oil which got the car running again!!
