I can’t tell you have many times at other shops the staff will see that I’m a female and try to pull a fast one and convince me to pay for things that are unnecessary. Cannot speak highly enough of the integrity and honesty at this place. I brought it in for a check engine light, expecting some kind of multi hundred dollar repair, and they cleaned out a sensor and charged me $15 and all is well. I would have brought it in much sooner had I known how great these guys were! Customer for life here.

After one of my brake lights went out I bought the new lights and attempted the fix myself but the old bulbs would not budge on their way out.I swung by S-wings today during a snowstorm 30 minutes before they closed and someone (who I can only assume is Mike based on the other reviews) helped out right away. The old lights put up a good fight but Mike entertained us with a few anecdotes as he eventually yanked both of them free over the course of 10 minutes.After he installed the new lights we asked him what we owed him but he refused and sent us on our way instead.It feels great to find such an honest shop here in town. Ill definitely take my Subaru here for anything else we need in the future!

We stopped using Mikes services years ago due to finishing details not being done. Loose bolts, missing fasteners that were there when car was dropped off. Their shotty service keeps on giving. Just learn the header is clearly marked as bad, oil pan bolts inserted crooked plus several more poorly installed parts. This is an engine on a car purchase from Mike whose engine failed and this is his warranty engine rebuild.

Great Subaru ONLY mechanics. Family owned & operated. Mike (the owner) took the time to educate me as to what chemical reactions were occurring in the engine, thoroughly itemized the bill, & explained anything I asked about- very patient, & didnt patronize me. Also let me pay in 3 months - it was a sizable bill, but $2000.00 cheaper than the dealership! And he let me have a loaner car for 3 weeks. I cant say enough good things about this place & people who work for Mike- which includes his sons.He also took the haze off my headlights, changed the wiper blades, replaced the fuel pipe - where you pump the gas into (had to get the part from a junkyard) for free. The repairs were done RIGHT. Ill take my car here as long as they exist🚗😁🚗🌟🚗💗There are 2 unfortunate items, though. 1) They are BUSY. Its going to take awhile to get to repair your car. Schedule an appointment, if possible (non-emergent situations).2) Parking is in demand- very tight quarters, & theres some friction with neighboring businesses.

I go to a near by business and this is a regular occurrence. They park on lots/spaces that arent theirs and take up obscene amounts of space that so many people could use. This lot DOES NOT belong to them, and im 100% sure this is not how to park a car. Owner is a jerk and completely oblivious to the fact that other people in this area exsist. Constantly rude and is always parking his junk cars off his property in obnoxious ways. Please dont support this buisnuss.

Best corvette and Subaru mechanic in Colorado. I recently had my head gasket repaired here in my outback. I was out of state and needed an oil change, the mechanic was so impressed with the job Mike and his son did on the head gasket that he called his crew over to see it. He showed them how well it was installed and the care the mechanic took, he said it looked brand new. Mike and his sons always treat is well and give us a fair price. Id recommend this repair shop without reservation to anyone.

The worst customer relations Ive seen so far. My car has not passed emissions and its been 4 days. I dont understand why Ive had to talk to them over and over again about it. Ive been told it may pass after it failed the first time. it was tested they said. Then after it failed again I waited the whole day at the shop and then told it didnt pass and told to come back again. This time they were willing to give me a bridge car but thier customer relations show that they are willing to hear and promote ugly things because they were originally having a hard time. I understand we all have a hard time but why make it so ugly over a car? They either fix it or give me my money back. I wish they wouldnt yo yo with me. This will be the third try to pass emissions and the fifth time this car will be in the shop. I cant recommend this place anymore. Id be willing to take this post down when everything theyve done to me is fixed.

Wow what a place! I called and gave my rough estimate of my Subarus problem and got a quote within a minute. After inspection my assumption was accurate & they fixed her within a day and it was 1/3 what it would have cost at my old mechanic. Mike was so responsive, informative & also no BS. He even showed me the broken part after & wow was it bad. I will never take my baby anywhere else

Just bought a car here. Loved every component of the interaction. In two words - transparent and honest. The car I bought had been considered totaled. They showed me the before photos and walked me through the repairs. They also gave me a warranty along with a voucher for the (pricey) 100k service and a lot of personalized attention about the vehicle (Im new to Subarus. For instance didnt know its not a good idea to ride around on a new full size spare with this AWD system). I really felt like I know what I was getting into. Not the same old sales pitch. They will shoot you straight and tell you the pros and cons of your vehicle and the likelihood and cost of upcoming repairs. Call me blue collar, but I dont mind it one bit when my salesman, whos telling me about the ins and outs of my vehicle, is sporting jeans and grease stains and simultaneously giving pointers to a junior mechanic working on a transmission. They will also walk you through the underside of your vehicle. In my opinion, doesnt really matter to me if the salesman pointed out the sunglasses holder if he failed to mention that the head gaskets were about to cause the engine to blow. If you want a straight deal and to be treated with honesty and sincerity this is the place to go; just give them the same in return and they will treat you right.

Rather than trying to sell me expensive parts or pay for labor that was very simple he happily explained the problem and how I could fix it. Mike is honest, fair, and seriously one of the best auto guys I know (and I come from a family of car people). He didnt charge me to fill a wet battery with water to keep it going for a bit longer after the cause of a car breakdown was discovered to be a battery thing. A dealer wanted to charge me $170 for a battery change, and he charged me roughly half that price. Been going to him ever since, never will I step foot in a dealership again.

Fixed the issue with my car. Very unorganized administratively. Quoted me at one price but when the work was done it was doubled. Not sure Ill use these guys agin because of that. Felt very slimey.

Everytime I take my subaru in there I am disappointed in the work. I took it in for a check engine light and to have a popping noise in the brakes figured out, after a week I got a call to come pick it up. The check engine light came right back on and the popping noise wasnt addressed. I brought it back in for the check engine light, popping noise and a new rattle fRon the transmission or center diff. My car ended up getting a parking ticket while at his shop, the popping noise again was ignored and instead of solving the gringing noise, he put it into fwd only because it seems to make a little less noise, but a subaru just isnt a subaru without awd.

After having a terrible experience with Super Rupair in Boulder, I realized Mike deserves a great review for his help with my Subaru.While I was living in Winter Park, I discovered my car needed its head gaskets replaced. I found online reviews that said S-Wings Stuff was good at this repair, so I made an appointment. Mike was very nice to me and even drew me pictures of what it means to have leaking head gaskets. He didnt pressure me into other services, but suggested that I replace some parts that would need to be replaced soon while they already had the engine out. Im glad I opted for this, becuase it has definately saved me money now.About a year after the head gaskets were fixed, I noticed a new noise on cold mornings. I called Mike, and he offered to stop by my house to take a quick listen to the noise. When has a mechanic ever offered to come to a car to look at it?! That was definately above and beyond what I would expect. I live in Boulder, so I told him no, Ill bring the car to you. He told me it was a normal noise that the pistons in a Subaru can make, and he gave me a can of engine cleaner for free (I looked it up later and it runs about $30-$40). So the whole service was free!After the rude, overpriced service at Super Rupair, I definately plan on going back to S-Wings Stuff for my future repairs. Thanks Mike!
