I was nervous about finding a new mechanic when moving to Denver as my mechanic back home was a family friend. That being said, here they treat you like an old friend the minute you walk through the door and are thorough, keeping an eye out for any other problems they may notice while your car is in. They also explain everything so you know exactly what is going on with your car and why it may need certain things. Great people, great service, they’re the best!

Had my tie-rod go out and brought my care here. They were able to get me in sooner then any of the other 15 places I called. They were easy to get ahold of, gave a quality and honest advice and were simply there to help.

Great service. I brought my Subaru in to have a tire fixed and they had it all done in just a few minutes. They can get pretty busy; I would call ahead for major services. Theyve been in business since the 60s and it seems like everyone who works there really knows what theyre doing. Same service counter as the gas station, so if you need gas or snacks its very convenient.

Holiday Auto Care has been a great, dependable place to take my Camry for maintenance work, brakes, oil changes, 90,000 mile check up, etc. I can rely on them to be professional, fast with the work I need, and even a ride home sometimes. Its very helpful with my busy life to have an auto repair shop in my neighborhood I can count on. Have found their pricing to be average, and what I normally pay at Hotchkiss, etc.

$85.00 for a simple oil change when was quoted $55.00. Didnt notice till I left Overcharged on everything possible. Went for a starter in June. They seemed like they were honest, fair, reasonable. Now not so sure Plus, no waiting room. Had to wait outside.

Highly recommend! Mark and his crew are honest, efficient and professional. They don’t try to trick you into agreeing to services you don’t need (unlike Grease Monkey just up the road!) They’ve helped me out in a bind more than once and have never over-charged me! With their help, our cars easily make it to 10+ years.

I have been a customer of Holiday Auto Care for some time now and knew they would be happy to help my minor predicament. As I was driving down the road, my 2018 Ford Escape warned me that the tire air pressure was low. Now I know how to check the pressure and put air in my tires, but this was the first time I had a vehicle that had Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on it. I was concerned about how to get the warning on the dash turned off once the tire pressure was corrected. Without a moments hesitation, Robert got a tire pressure gauge from the Service Counter and accompanied me back to my vehicle parked out front. We went around the vehicle, checking the air pressure in the tires and found the one tire that was causing the issue. To be on the safe side, Robert filled and checked all four tires to ensure that they were inflated to the proper pressure. Once that was completed, Robert and one of the immeasurably knowledgeable Mechanics that was on duty at Holiday Auto Care assured me that if I drove the vehicle for about a mile, the warning would disappear. Sure enough, once I made the turn at the stop light in front of the shop, the warning disappeared. Once again, Holiday Auto Care went above and beyond to provide exemplary service. I definitely recommend everyone to stop in to Holiday Auto Care to handle all of their vehicle service needs.

The Holiday team is the real deal I trust them unconditionally after several repairs on two vehicles. It is easy for a repair shop to satisfy customers when everything goes right but the real test is when things dont.They recently diagnosed a CEL and performance issue on my Infinity Q90, replacing the problem sensors. Turned out that the parts had a compatibility issue with this specific infinity model and the CEL re-occurred. Holiday stuck with us, did the research fixed the issue and ultimately got the issue resolved quickly for us without any additional cost to us. Great and truthful communication always from them, amazing customer service. I think you can trust them too! joeT

Everyone was SO great, they fixed my car for a great price, really flexible and fast. There was one little surprise, an extra part but for as long as I let the car go I’m so surprised they got it done for the price they did. Over $1000 cheaper than any other quote I got. I just had the nicest experience replacing a battery in my 10 year old Volvo. Paul, at Holiday Auto Care, was knowledgeable, polite and helpful. I feel that I definitely got value for my money and the new battery was installed in 15 minutes. I will help spread the word about a great place.

I go there when I need anything done with my car. This time I had a complete tune done on my car. They were especially courteous and helped me understand what they were going to do. Now my car runs VERY well. I will Always go there to get anything done on any of my vehicles. You should too.

DON’T GO HERE! This place is sleezy and overpriced. They wanted to charge me $284 for a battery replacement. The battery cost $160, so the rest was labor. They tried to charge me for an entire hour of labor when it took only twenty minutes, not to mention that most places will install a battery for free when you purchase it from them. The manager gave me so many excuses for why their labor rate of $129 was “normal” (it’s not) and even told me that was a discount from their normal rate of $145. Do not trust this place. I was definitely over charged.

This place is amazing, my daughter called me early this morning and stated her car stopped running when she pulled into her work garage and noticed that a belt had broken off. She needed her car back by 5pm and low and behold it is 120pm and the vehicle is completed. I have been going to Holiday Auto Care for over 9 years and Mark and his staff is phenomenal!

I spoke with Robert, Paul, and Dominick, and they were all so professional and kind. Their communication was clear and timely. I will definitely be returning.

This was my first experience with Holiday Auto Care as I am new to Denver. Mark Holiday was so wonderful from the start! Ive been using Holiday Auto Care for all my repairs for a few years now. This time, Mark, the owner, went above and beyond to help me with a complicated series of repairs. First, he recommended that I take it to the dealer, where one, warranty-covered repair was done. Then he recommended a transmission specialist (which saved me about $1000 from the dealers estimate). Finally, he coordinated getting my car back to his lot, and saved me another $600 from the dealer estimate by coming up with a different solution for a headlight replacement. Every time I got to Holiday I get honest, trustworthy service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend taking your vehicle there. Theyll take good care of you, so you wont have to worry if youre being taken to the cleaners.

Very positive experience. Needed to have my car checked for an unusual sound. I didnt have have an appointment but they were able to accommodate me within the hour. The mechanic who inspected the vehicle was very professional took extra time to answer all of my questions and concerns. Its this kind of service that will bring me back to Holiday auto the next time I need some help.

Everytime I go get something done to my car, Paul always charges an insane amount. Over $100 on an oil change last year... And $75 to tighten my battery down this year. Its frustrating that I am in the middle of a move.

I just moved to Denver about 6 months ago and was looking for a reliable auto repair shop that I could take my 2015 Subaru to get an oil change and tire rotation. I relied on reviews on google and yelp to find someone close and reliable. This place averaged with 5 stars, but how thats possible I have no clue. This place is a complete RIP OFF. I have had my vehicle for almost three years and have NEVER paid more than $80 for an oil change and a tire rotation, not even at a chain repair shop. But here, I got ultimately ripped off with a whopping charge of $80 for the oil change alone and an additional $35 for the tire rotation.This is totally outrageous. When I complained that this was too high, they just shrugged their shoulders and said sorry.I am appalled that they charge so much for outstanding labor. I would not recommend this place. They made me feel like an absolute idiot.

I owe these guys alot. Paul did an awesome job of handling me. I was I n a situation where I didnt act as pleasant as I should have. Paul took it upon himself to give me a call and fix the situation. Im more than impressed with the way the sitatuion was handled and I will highly reccomend them. Thank you guys for helping learn some life. 🙏

I had a project Jeep that I couldn’t figure out what to do with. I brought it in the shop here, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their service. Quick, straightforward pricing, and honest people. Would recommend to anyone needing any help with their vehicle.

Had a truly horrible experience recently with Holiday Auto Care. After a nearly $1200 miscommunication about how much a repair on my car would be, I was also lied to over the phone regarding how the matter would be resolved. When I was paying for my car repair, I asked the man working the register if the AAA discount had been applied (at the very least, since i was paying $1200 more than I had been told over the phone earlier in the day) to which he replied yes, it has already been applied. Then the next day over the phone, Paul, the man who had originally given me the incorrect total for my repair, told me they had not given me the discount, and he would be mailing me a check for $150 as well as multiple gift cards to Mobile gas stations to help remedy the situation. Though still frustrated with the miscommunication to begin with, I appreciated the (very, very small) gesture. A week later, I received a check for only $110, and I still have not received any gift cards, as promised over the phone. Not sure how this place is able to so blatantly lie to there customers. There are plenty of other reliable car mechanics in Denver that do not expect their customers to be experts on car mechanics and its pricing, and I would recommend going to any other but here.

I have never written a review, but wanted to in regard to Mark, Paul, and his staff at Holiday Auto Care. I have never gone to a mechanic-or even business- with someone who has such high ethical values or been so transparent. I have been going to Mark since about 2016 and he has always stood by his work with the highest integrity, been open to communication when an issue has popped up fo me, and offered the best services, quality, and communication. He has always been more communicative than I have and left voicemails for me to return when I have a busy work schedule that doesnt allow me to talk during normal hours. I saw that there were some one star reviews and would urge anyone considering using Holiday Auto Care to ignore them and to use Mark and his services.

I had a 2001year truck that was failing and the truck dealer could not determine why it was failing. The Holiday Auto Care owner Mark let me bring in the truck and he gave me an estimate cost to examine and then fix my truck. He and his chief Mechanic Troy examined it and determined what was causing the truck to fail. They determined that it was not a major gasket failure between the engine head gasket and radiator coolant system. They also determine quite a few more failures that would have completely broken the truck had they not been fixed. The dealership, again, never determined anything wrong with my truck. In 1 and half days, they fixed my trucks spark plugs, shocks, front driveshaft, radiator coolant system, lower front ball joints, 4 wheel alignment, air conditioning system, tightened all nuts and bolts on the truck and added a much better engine oil. Their fee for fixing the truck was lower than the dealership charges. Their prices gave them money and did not rob me like the dealers do. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN if you need help with your vehicle, go there and they will help you and not rob you. I think they are the best professional automobile mechanic company that Ive ever attended in 6 states of our Country. All of their staff is awesome, kind, very nice and excellent professional automobile mechanics. I am now a permanent customer there for the rest of my driving time life! Awesome Company!!!

I first came to holiday auto care because I had a 10-year-old Audi, needless to say I was grateful to find such an amazing mechanic with exceptional customer service. Since then I have transition to a Toyota which means significantly less maintenance however I wont go anywhere else because the service call the of work and value is second to none.Regardless of who helps me, have never had a mediocre experience, let alone a poor one. Mark, specifically, has been consistently amazing. No matter what you need done to your car, bring it here you will not be disappointed. Thank you guys!!!

Nice enough people but their labor prices suggest that they themselves are the mechanic gods. I was in a pinch for time for an oil change otherwise I wouldve done it myself. 85 dollars for a synthetic oil change which is not completely unreasonable, but 35 dollars for a damn tire rotation??? If you want to get robbed walk into the door at Holiday Auto Care. Unreasonable prices for what they do. The other 1 star reviews hit it on the head. They take advantage of their customer base. Which might not matter to some of the people around here but to me its about their values.UPDATE: Talked to owner Mark and he handeled the situation well. I am usually never the one to make a bad review. The interaction between me and the front desk was not necessarily the issue, I was just appalled by the pricing. Mark made it right.

DONT GO HEREI chose Holiday because I thought it would be better to go with a local mechanic instead of a big chain place. WRONG, HOLIDAY IS THE EXACT KIND OF MECHANIC THAT SCREWS YOU OVER.I had a check engine light on so I left my car with them overnight. They called the next day with $3000 worth of work which I declined and returned to pick up car.I asked for print out of all the work and paid $147 for diagnostic, eeek. The blonde front desk woman gave me their copy of diagnostic with handwritten notes on it instead of invoicing me one since I wasnt doing any work.When I got to my car there were all sorts of things that NO other shop had even suggested I needed, tow hitch damage. New brakes(which I had just done 3 weeks prior)Inflated prices for oil change...The kicker is that at the bottom of the packet it said $90 for diagnostic if nothing done!!! The woman up front wouldnt refund me or adjust charge and became very rude about the whole situation, they also said they would cover uber charges while they held your car, they did not.Went to Firestone and got the necessary 3 things done for $600 cheaper than Holiday estimated.Id suggest Firestone a few blocks down on Colorado or Weavers automotive if you ARE looking for a reliable small business mechanic.

Ive had my high mileage Chevy Tahoe in this shop a couple of times over the past few years. The guys at Holiday have done great work each time. Mark is upfront about the costs and labor and does not go over or run-up labor time. Very knowledgeable and friendly, I would highly suggest.

These guys literally quoted me $3500 for repairs that cost me $1500 at another mechanic in the area. Holiday Auto Care have a ton of good reviews which I can only assume is because their costume base is Cherry Creek — wealthy individuals who searched the closest repair shop and settled there. I’m just trying to save any hardworking individuals A LOT of money being absolutely scammed from them. This is wrong. I’m a young woman, recent college graduate and my only way to get around, make a living, and survive — is my car. They not only tried to scam me out of thousands of dollars to get it back on the road, but when I declined the repairs — they essentially held my car hostage saying I had to pay them $100 just to get it back after no work was done. I left my car there on the pretense that I wouldn’t be charged for any diagnostics since I knew what was wrong with the car. Really really awful experience and if I can spare anyone else from it with this review then it was worth writing.

These guys fixed my car in an emergency situation. They fit me in and were very fair and honest. I’m taking my Honda back when it’s due for its next service.

Holiday Auto was my go-to for a couple of years when I lived in Denver. They were always professional, courteous, helpful. My 12-year old Alero started shuddering when idling, and it ended up being a large chunk of money to fix, and a year and a half later, my car died because of a fuel line issue, which was not cheap, either. Everything ran great afterwards, but I was a little salty about how much I spent on my paid-off car... UNTIL I just took it in for a new inspection in PA, and they commented on how they could tell the car had a lot of good work done on it; they were impressed. 2 years later, Im still not having anymore issues and Im even more satisfied that all their work was totally worth it. This shop is the only place I take my car. They have been taking care of not only me but everyone in my family for years. They are amazing!!! Anytime I go there, they know me by name and it feels like a small town shop. What other gas station can u go to where you pull up at the first pump and they come out pump ur gas, wash ur windshield and top off all fluids? ONLY HOLIDAY AUTO CARE!!!!I know that when I leave there my car has been in the hands and I have nothing to worry about. I get back on the road in record time. I hope that other people out there find out about them because they will never let you down or take advantage of you. I am so happy that I found them......TRULY THE BEST.....GO CHECK THEM OUT :)

They employee someone there that has had 5 DUIs. And has no license to drive!! And they let him drive customers vehicles. So do not take your car there to be worked on. There is only one good mechanic there!

We were visiting from out of state when our vehicle started overheating. Took it to Firestone and they believed there may be something wrong with the engine, so I found Holiday Auto Care online and contacted them this morning. Spoke with Mark on the phone and he was very willing to help us with our situation since we planned to leave to go back home Sunday and a family members funeral was today, one hour from the time I spoke with him on the phone. Mark arranged for our vehicle to be brought in and discovered the radiator needed replacing and the cooling fans. He said he would make sure to stay late if necessary to fix our vehicle. They called us about 3:00 and said the vehicle had been successfully repaired and test-driven. Thank you Holiday Auto Care for your kindness, concern for our situation, prompt attention to our van, and professional and successful repair!

They did both and gave me a ton of notes on what was wrong with my car but they didnt quote out the proposed work and missed something that every other mechanic noticed. I called for a quote, they said they were going to send it and never followed through. I dont have any intention of returning.
