I bought my car through Carvana and was sent here to fix some cosmetic scratches. Only 3 scratches. And after a week I come back to pick up the car, it was in worse condition, more scratches. They did a horrible job on my car. They offered me to leave the car there for another few days so they can fix it. But the problem is I don’t trust them after seeing how they did my car. Plus, I need the car to go to work and going through rental progress is a pain in the a**. There is nothing I can do about it to be honest. I would NOT recommend this place at all. Don’t waste your time and your money here.

Trevor is the Bees knees in this place. There was one slow down on my vehicle but it was fixed the same day and ready for pick up the very next day. Their prices are absolutely fair and they did an amazing job

Tyler was awesome! Was doing a repair through Carvana and he went out of his way to point out things I should include in the claim beyond what I found myself. Honest, and to the point. Would recommend this place to anyone! Took a little longer to repair my car than they said, but he called and kept me updated and was upfront about it. Appreciate it!

I brought in a bumper I had purchased for them to paint to match my car color, that I would then install myself. Getting it painted with a 1 day turn around was great. HOWEVER:A few days later I went to put it on, and noticed it wasnt the right color. In the sunlight, it was definitely an orange shade compared to my bright red car paint. So I called and they told me I could come right by for their shop to look at it. When I was there, they attempted to convince me that the color difference was normal, that paint on plastic will never look the same as on metal do you see the difference on the front bumper? (no) do you see the difference on the door handles? (no). those are plastic too.After a few minutes of back and forth, with me insisting it was the wrong color (even the guy at the carwash warned me before I went in because he thought I put some cleaner on it!), employee (or manager?) William agreed to take it in and have it gone over again.They kept my car overnight, no problem, so that the paint could dry in a warm garage. I got it back this morning and it looks great! It seems from my judgment the reason for the paint being discolored was likely that it just needed another coat or too.Overall the service was good, and Im happy with the end result, even if it did take some work to get to that point. My suggestion would be: take pictures, and dont be afraid to speak up!Thank you for making it right in the end (:

Im currently having my HHR repainted. I want to be different. I wish I could have been able to get the black cherry pearl, but it cost to much. So I went with an opal pink. Totally a womens car. Its a red right now. Excited to see how it comes out.

I was skeptical and the first go around had some imperfections, but Tyler and management bent over backwards to make it right. They even offered to do some extra work out of their wheelhouse to get my rig back on the road. Really appreciate Tyler and team and will recommend this shop to everyone.

Trevor is a man of his word. He said he would take care of everything and he did. William gave me the best estimate he could, ordered the part and got me in and out in one day. Now thats good customer service right there. I highly recommend this shop. They seem really laid back and relaxed but I can tell theyre Profesionals who take their work seriously! Wow………………….Where do I begin????? Let start with “DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY/SHOP, THE WAY YOU TAKE YOUR VEHICLE IN…………….WILL NOT BE THE SAME WAY YOU GET IT BACK”. BEWARE-BEWARE-BEWARE, they damage the hell out of the inside of my truck and it is two months later and they still have not fixed it. The only thing done right (credit to me and whoever painted it) is the color of the paint job. When I picked my truck up it was not clean inside (dust everywhere), I was told it would take 5 days to paint and it took 10, they broke seals around my windows and damage my side panel, they broke my radio antenna, they have broken promise and lied on many occasions (mainly Justin), they didn’t complete the job on the bed of my truck and took my money with a smile on their face!!!I not trying to imply anything but the facts, but the reviews that say this is a great company and people, please tell me if we are speaking of the same shop. Dang, I might have to take legal action in order to get them to do the right thing…………………………

I wouldnt of have them a one star but I had to in order to write a review. The manager Ron was very rude. My paint was runny dried and the bottom of my mirrors were scratched. I already had to wait three weeks to get the both of my rearview back and he offered to do them again but could not wait and he did not want to give me any kind of discount I will never come back here again. The boys in the back had great customer service but the manager Ron should not be in customer service

I recently came to Maaco to repair the front bumper of my Toyota Camry, which had been damaged due to the underneath splash engine dragging off the car. I chose Maaco because I was new to Denver and assumed that by going with a national chain, I would have less to worry about it in terms of cost increases and unprofessional behavior. I was mistaken.Cost - The initial estimate for the bumper replacement was $950; I had tried to negotiate and the team was willing to remove the cost of the parts. However, later in the week, the head mechanic gave me a call to let me know that it would be an extra $60 due to an extra part being needed for the bumper. While I wasnt ecstatic about this, this was not a dealbreaker for me.Timeliness - I dropped my car on Saturday morning. I was told to expect the car by Thursday. The car was not ready for pickup until the following Saturday. Again, not a total dealbreaker but not great either.Professionalism - Upon bringing the car home, I noticed that the car had shopfloor dust and dirt all over the inside. In addition, the outside of the car had not been cleaned off. What angered me though was that someone had written POOP on the inside of the vehicle. Being the only driver of the car and having only left it inside my garage and with Maaco during my three weeks in Denver, I can only assume that someone at Maaco did this.When I called Maaco to let them know of my dissatisfaction, the staff said that I could bring the car in on Monday and they would perform a full detail. Unfortunately, when I brought the car in, the head mechanic and mechanic who fixed the bumper chose to argue with me rather than try to address my issues. Both accused me of writing this on the car. Sadly, I dont have the time or sense of humor to think of something like that.The team also told me that I was misinformed on the phone and they do not actually perform car details at Maaco. So in addition to being disrespected as a customer and receiving a poor initial experience, I was lied to by staff.I know that online reviews can be hard to sift through, to understand who is being reasonable or irrational. All I can say is that if someone asked me whether I would recommend Maaco, I would tell them yes only if they are willing to put up with terrible customer service.

I stopped by this location same day after making an appointment to get a minor paint repair estimated on my truck. The customer service was outstanding as well as the repair and assessment was done on the spot. Will and Trevor were a pleasure to work with as they ended up repairing my paint without charge! I will definitely be returning to this location for any auto body needs. This is a shop that goes above and beyond.

Quality goes a long way however customer service goes even father for me. I had the pleasure of being assisted by two gentleman at this location. Vesco who was working the front desk was very informative and extremely professional. He introduced me to William the tech who was was perfect in every way. Obviously from a quality stand point this location is second to none. From a customer service stand point I can’t say enough good things. Thank you so much for taking care of me.

Customer service is key for me and this Maaco off of Colfax satisfied that. They let me order new emblems and ship it directly to the shop and have them put them on free of charge. On top of the service was good quality paint job and some body work done. I would post before and after pictures but this site won’t allow me.

I had a vehicle painted at macco before, it was funny. The paint didn’t match and when I traded in the truck, the dealership knew it came from maaco ( ut oh, he went to maaco) the one on colfax. This was years ago. The daughter of the company is cute but I can smell instability when I see it.

After a little confusion on some estimates and working with a new employee, all was well in the end! Damien proved to be professional and have excellent professional people skills. My classic car came out just as I wanted it, and for a reasonable price. I have had multiple cars painted/repaired in different states at Maaco, and they are all consistent in showing quality work.

I got T-boned and tried to find a place near my house to get it looked at just as COVID 19 was starting to become a pandemic. With all the chaos, my car ended up sitting in their lot for a week but they were nice enough to wave the storage fees because of a communication issue. Very considerate. Thanks!

Read lots of these reviews and take note how many times the word rude is used to describe their employees. It is well deserved! I received a $3K quote for their top quality paint job from Trevor at the 2424 E. Colfax location. He was very nice. I prepped my vehicle and came in first thing Monday ready to get it painted. I was helped by Justin, which was a very different experience. When I told him I had a replacement windshield header shipped to the location, he said they wont accept it. I asked Why?, and he copped a serious attitude. He never asked if I worked that out with someone, offered to reschedule or anything. I said, Well, I guess I wont be getting my car painted this week. since I had to wait for the header delivery to be rejected then resent to me. But, before I could get the last two words of my sentence out, he abruptly and sarcastically said, Well, have a good day, and he got up and walked away, turning his back on me just to make a point, it seems. I have NEVER experienced anyone so rude in a customer service role, and I even lived in Russia for 7 years. Then he accused me of copping an attitude and said I get great reviews all the time. Well, not today, Justin. I guess thats why this location has a 3.7 for reviews. I contacted the Maaco in Commerce City that has 4.8 on reviews and received the service one would expect. They were nice and treated me and all the customers with respect. If you live in Denver, drive the extra few miles to go where you will be treated like a customer and not an annoyance.UPDATE: Its now been two weeks since I received the (evidently disingenuous) response from the owner below. Its also been two weeks since I responded as requested to discuss your concerns further and I still have not received any contact. Nuff said.

They help arrange rental car and well working with insurance, they deal with insurance and I never entertain with my insurance. They taking care all those and fix my vehicle like brand new. They set up appointment right a way same day and complete job in time .. I highly recommend for Macco to repair vehicles.

Unfortunately I have a bad review. I took my car in to get repaired after a car accident. I dropped it off and it was working fine. A few days later there was an issue that I did not cause and had nothing to do with the repairs already in progress. Long story short I found out that ignition fuse was blown and they want me to pay for towing cost and pay for the fuse( which I did). My point... my car was working when I dropped it off and I should not be responsible for something that happened while at Maaco meaning towing cost. Waiting to speak to corporate.

Really happy with the work and the price for my repair. Costs were so much cheaper than other places. All other places said the pair couldnt be done and would need to be a full replace to the tune of 3x as expensive. Darris went above and beyond to accomadte my schedule and needs and appreciate everything.

Macco Denver does not not understand Customer Service.I choice Maaco due to their apparent national reputation and actually paid a higher price to have my front Bumper replaced. Big mistake, as the new Bumper which was replaced now loosely hangs off the fenders plus they missed the promised completion date.I had never heard of painting over deep scratches. Apparently this defect is my problem because I didn’t use the word “Repair”. Hard for me to understand!The formal quotation to Re Fix the car is a new charge approaching the original estimate.I pursued my initial thought above a national chain But this was another dead end. After initial contact, they have not responded to my emails.Don’t make my same mistake, go elsewhere for body work.

We were able take advantage of the paint special currently going on and the results definitely exceeded our expectations! We were able to get an appointment during a time that worked and turn around time was shorter than expected. I’m not sure about other locations because I haven’t used them, but I would certainly recommend this one. Great team of people!

Great customer service... I work on the block and had a flat tire on my way home and really wasnt sure where to go since Im not from the area.. The girl at the service counter was very nice and attentive. The service guy checked out my tire, put my spare on, diagnosed another issue & provided me a nearby recommendation. I really appreciated the quick and friendly service in the middle of a busy week day!

Got a side view mirror fixed here-everyone I communicated with was very helpful and not condescending in the slightest. When I went in to get the mirror fixed, it took about 5 minutes in total. Although this wasnt a big fix, I enjoyed my experience thoroughly and would definitely come back with future car repair needs.

Initially I sent 5 requests through the website to multiple Maacos in Denver for estimates and never heard back from anyone. Why is this even an option if nobody responds? Anyway, I finally just called to the Colfax location and the person said I could just come in for an estimate. I did and this same technician (forgot his name) said if I came back at 6pm after work hours he would paint my rear applique for $75 overnight. I had the impression this wasnt going through Maaco (he asked for cash) but I just wanted my car to be painted and gave him the benefit of the doubt. I showed up at exactly 6:02 pm and nobody was there. I waited 15 minutes and called several times. The guy never showed up. Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time. I live 30 minutes away so this took over an hour of my time during rush hour which was obviously frustrating since I had cancelled an appointment elsewhere.Anyway, the next day I called to see what had happened and the same technician answered and said there was some emergency with his kid and that the owner was supposed to wait the night before. Obviously he was lying or the owner is also worthless as well (the technician seemed to think so). I said Id give him the benefit of the doubt because the emergency dealt with his child and Im not going to call him a liar because how could I know for sure. He sounded like he was lying but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Once I accepted that lie he said that he could probably paint my car that night or the following Saturday but hed call back to confirm one way or the other. He never called. I followed up one more time with a message and never hear back. Incredibly bad business. I get the feeling this after hours work is all being done off the books since he insisted on cash but I dont know for sure. I wish I had read these reviews before since the general and correct consensus is that this place is a dumpster fire.

Dave is amazing! He told me where to purchase inexpensive car parts and then had me bring them back so he could install them on my car. He did all this for a VERY reasonable price and within a few days. I highly recommend this location (ask for Dave!).

Great job with the paint. Mgr was great but employees are not professional, did not put car back together as i brought it in. Had headlight replaced and did not realign the light. Missing bolts on my hood and missing hood latch.

The Macao team radiates professionalism. They not only took care of me, but worked with me. I had been backed into at work, but also needed some other work done. Darris and his team helped me piece together what I needed and what I wanted. I couldn’t be happier. Instead of walking away today feeling I was overcharged, I’m walking away feeling like I just won a prize. Great Service

I had three years of Colorado pin striping on my car. This past weekend, I went off road and really scratched it up. I thought I was going to have to repaint the entire car. They gave me a different option to sand and buff it. I was a bit weary b/c I tried to have someone buff it out in the past with no luck. They said it would take care of 80% of the scratches it was that bad and take three days to do it. So I left the car on Tuesday with the expectation I would pick it up on Friday afternoon. They called this morning, Thursday, to pick it up. I went to pick it up and 99.9% of the scratches are gone. They delivered an entire day early and saved me thousands on a new paint job. AND ITS LOOKS LIKE A NEW PAINT JOB. If I ever need body work or repair, I WILL BE BACK. They come highly recommended from an highly impressed, satisfied customer.

I took my 2016 Subaru Outback to this location to have my rear bumper re-painted. It has only been a few months and the paint is already peeling off in multiple locations. This was not a complicated paint job. All they had to was match the factory color and paint a stock bumper.

Absolutely the best repair shop ive found in town. Janelle and Amber were so great to work with and made my life much easier getting my car in and out of the shop fast. Janelle made sure the insurance paid to fix all the damage caused by the wreck and that they used better quality parts than what they were trying to at first. When I picked it up she went over all the parts and it looked much better then it did when i first got it. I will always be bringing my subaru back for future repairs (hopefully not soon!)

Ron and Dave and the whole team were so great when I brought my Jeep in after a car accident. The Jeep ended up being totaled, and they were so kind about the whole thing, even suggesting what sort of car I should get next. Great guys.

I honestly would not reccomend this place to anybody, they do a very crappy job, they lack on customer service very rude individuals, they tried to give me my car with crappy paint job full of bubbles and trash that got stuck in the process of drying, when making them aware of the mistakes they made they get upset and try to blame the customer for pointing at where the mistakes are at, saying the customer is messing up the paint job, like its possible to make bubbles by pointing or scratches. With that being said tgink 3 times before taking your valuable vehicle to this place

Horrible service. I went in there to get a quote and they reccommended I go to a PDR (Paintless Dent Remover). I asked them to still print me up a quote estimate so I can decide whether Im getting the most bang for my buck regardless if I go to Maacos (to fix the paint AND the dents)or go through a PDR(and fix the dents only). I call back wanting to go to Maacos since I would be getting a better service than what their PDR has quoted me, and they chose not to give me an estimate. Ok, fine, no business from me then!!

Same experience as one of the last customers, super rude woman over the phone not willing to even be cordial enough to discuss options. Simply put, MAACO will not discuss your needs over the phone, so dont try. Honestly, their not even cheap anymore. Do your research and find a real body shop!

Be careful in coming to this place. The review stating extra miles on the car is not a joke. Have GPS on my vehicle there and it is showing the car is being used.

My 04 Jag was one of only 200 in the USA with a distinctive Blue color but after 10 years of wear it was showing its age. When Janel quoted a Cut and Buff paint detail I was a little wary. My concerns were groundless. Dave handled the job personally and the results were awesome. He even came in early on the day of pick-up to hand buff it one last time. They did everything they said and more. My car is ready for the Concours!

Just moved here from vt, and my roommates car got broken into. I bright it in for an estimate and for a long arduous welding job, I was quoted only $362. Thats about $300 less than I would be quoted back home. Love the service.

This particular MAACO is definitely the one to visit! As for the negative comments below, you can give somebody the sun, the moon and the stars and they will still find something to complain about. More than likely the negative nannies below were not even customers but competitors! Yes, they would stoop that low. Do you really think for one minute that these are real customers who care enough to help complete strangers by posting their negative experiences?Ive been going to this MAACO for over 15 years. Granted, Ive only been there a couple of times 10-15 years ago and then just this last week to have my camper shell painted. Everybody I dealt with was just as professional and courteous as they were 10-15 years ago. This is why I drove the extra distance and continue to come back. The quality of work is unbeatable and significantly more reasonable that anybody I’ve found and trust me, Ive done my research.

I told them I needed my car back by a certain day of which they assured me it shpuld be done and of course, it was not. Understandably I was upset about that which led to them deciding to not do the job all together after having my car for 4 days. Ive never experienced more rude and ridiculous people at any car repair place Ive been to. Save your money and go somewhere with decent service.

I took my car here to get work done on my front bumper where it was swiped while parked. The work done was ok but my Ipod was stolen out of my car while there at Maaco. They acknowledged that it was indeed gone & refunded me $100 via credit card. That was definitely appreciated but the fact that my ipod as well as the usb was ripped out of my stereo just goes to show what kind of people are there working on your car. I will not be returning & will never recommend anybody go here.

Ive been meaning to write a review for the Maaco on E. Colfax. I took my 1976 VW bus to be painted at there. After reading horror stories on the internet about going to a less expensive paint place, I was a bit nervous but also know that my car isnt a showpiece and will be driven in the city and used for work so a top of the line paint job isnt what I needed either.Ive seen the comments about the front desk staff not being the nicest. Shops like this make money by volume. They were nice and polite when dealing with me and all my worries about painting a car. There wasnt any handholding but they dealt with my concerns in a matter of fact way so I knew what I was getting into and could make a choice that I would be happy with. If I wanted handholding, Im sure I could have paid for it elsewhere but time and cost were my top concerns. The painting crew were also nice and helpful. I was waiting in line at Denver Excise and License when I realized I needed my VIN number. I called and they had one of the guys run out and get the VIN number for me so I didnt have to go back to E&L! Thats the type of excellent service you really want, imo. They also made sure I could make it to my health department inspection even though there was still some work that needed to be completed. They could have kept my car and I would have gotten a month behind but as fellow business owners, they understood the issue I was facing.Now to the paint- Its held up really well for the past year. Its still shiny and looks great. (I did get their 3 part system- or whatever the top of the line paint job is called.) Last summer I got lots of remarks on the paint job and people were stunned when I said Maaco! Now that its been a year, it still looks great and people are still surprised when I say Maaco!

They advertise $500 to paint an entire car, and to repair my mirror was $400, shouldve just paid another $100 for the whole thing.
