This is a nice place to find some good deals. I remember buying a Christmas tree, when they had it on sale, for only twenty dollars!! I also found a cross-cut paper shredder for ten dollars. I still use it to this day. It shreds 5 sheets of paper at a time. I also bought a very nice weighing scale for $20.

We recently bought a couch, recliner, book shelf,, and lots of wall art/accessories to make our new and very empty apartment feel like a home. The bookshelf was so poorly designed that it was way to wobbly to put any books on, and now not even 3 months later the fabric on our couch and recliner is coming apart. We were so excited to finally have something nice and comfortable and now we are left feeling cheated and un appreciated. I will never buy anything from big lots again and I will make sure everyone I know, knows not to shop there. I now know that Biglots is the dollar store of furniture. Shame on me for spending my money there.

Many prices are higher than the more upscale nearby stores with more quality items.

I was very impressed upon walking into big lots today. I was here about two years ago and hadn’t come back since, if that tells you anything. Today I walked into a clean store with a good products and good prices! Manager and employees are doing a great job!

They had what I was looking for, friendly and courteous staff.

When did Big Lots get so expensive? They used to be more reasonably priced.

I will never buy couches again from Big Lots. Dont buy the furniture warranty!!! Waste of money. The T&C says it covers punctures and I had a hard time getting my warranty approved. I asked for a supervisor and they said theyd call me back and never heard from them.

I had to run into this big lots to specially buy 2 lawn chairs for my sons soccer game. I ended up having to get a cart because I saw other things I needed. The stockers in the isles were helpful with directing me to find other goods. The prices and such are always pretty low or reasonable. The cashier was extremely funny and even made small talk with me. It’s little things like that that make you visit places again.

I was very impressed with this place. Considering this is a discount store, I was expecting poor customer service and an unorganized store. I was wrong with my assumption. The staff here were very helpful and eager to be of service. Very well run store.

The place could use some serious TLC. 4 stars because theres usually only one cashier open and although shes very nice shes very slow at checking out. My family and I have purchased many pieces of furniture from big lots but there always seems to be an issue. A few months back we bought a new couch & when it was time to pick up my fiancé took in the receipt and they went to go “look” in the back. When she came out with nothing she asked my fiancé if he was sure we purchased the item because they could not find it in the back. After 30 minutes they finally found it. This wasn’t big of an issue until we returned on Saturday to buy a new tv stand. I purchased the item and got to take it home the same day. My fiancé spent about an hour building the stand just to find out that multiple pieces were missing! Including the legs of the stand and the drawers!! THE NEXT DAY when we called, we asked the manager if we could have the parts from the display so that it would be an easy fix. She told us she would be right back and would check if she had them. She then returned and told us that she did not have another of the same tv stand AND that she no longer had the display. This was odd because I was just in the store on Saturday (the day before) and had seen it. We then asked her if it was sold and she said “probably because it’s not here in the store” THEN told us to bring the TV STAND back to the store so that we could pick up a stand that was already built. After we found someone willing to haul our unbuilt stand back to the store , we were told by a different manager that we could either have the pieces from the display or a refund. No other option. Completely different from what the lady on the phone said. OH AND GUESS WHAT WAS ON DISPLAY? THE TV STAND THAT SHE SAID WAS SOLD. We asked if we could please just have the display to ensure that the parts were all there & working and obviously bc we didn’t want to make any more trips. The manager denied saying it is against store policy. But why did the manager on the phone tell us that the display was sold?..... hmmm... doesn’t make much sense to me!!! These employees are all over the place with their lies and are completely disrespectful! He even mentioned he didn’t have to provide service to us.. AFTER SELLING US AN INCOMPLETE TV STAND. Now our brand new tv is sitting on our floor!!!!! Never coming back here!

If you have not been to it, I recommend you go and check them out! Ive got a couple of garden canopies and still in my back yard some furniture pieces, holiday decorations and the prices are great! (and I do shop on line!)From the great friendly welcome at the front door to the very knowledgeable managers! Get a cart, because you will end up having to go grab one!

Greatest place to pick up odd n ends except when you have a lot hecking out the little sweet ladt who I believe is special needs help she has trouble with numbers and wants to visit a lot.

Its Big Lots! I always find stuff to buy. Their clearance section is to the left of the store after you go in. Its kind of hidden by the pet department.

Went to this location when we were near Denton because it showed they had more stock on some of my favorite items usually available around Christmas since my local store was out of them and it was near the end of February... I found the caramels first but the store clerk said the toffees must be out since they should be in the same place. However, on the way to checkout I found the toffees on a set of smaller shelves in middle of the front walkway...

This store is much, much better than the stores Im used to!!

Different Items, Great Price

I don’t mind big lots because they have great deals but the store is just gross. There’s a million crickets out front the store is grungy inside it just doesn’t look well take care of so I struggle coming back.

Youll be surprised at what you can find at Big Lots. The first time I had gone, I had no idea what to expect, but was surprised at the variety of products as well as the cheaper prices. Products range from food and snakes to furniture. I definitely recommend checking it out, I guarantee youll end up walking out with something.
