Pretty decent selection of comics and statues/figures. Customer service wasn’t great. There were two men (I assume who work there) sitting at a table in the center talking to someone behind the register. Asked me what I was looking for and when I told them what I was looking for, they made no effort to stop their conversation and point me in the right direction. Just kind of nodded. That didn’t really bother me until other customers came in and the person at the register got out from behind the register to direct them to where the item they were looking for was. Don’t know if I was looking for was just too vague since I wasn’t looking for a specific item? Either way I found it on my own.The shop looks like it would have a lot of great stuff in it, I just felt too uncomfortable to walk between everyone having a conversation to look at everything else. Prices seemed decent from what I looked at.

Small shop with a good selection, but higher prices than other comic/gaming shops in the area. Moderate customer service and I usually have to wait to he checked out as every time I come in theyre sitting at a table talking. Not a bad store, but generally I stop here only if I cant find what Im looking for elsewhere

Super friendly and helpful staff and great selection. I arrived 2 days after new comic book day and they still had most of the new hot books on the shelf. Ill definitely be back!

Great comic store. My daughters recently got into comics and the two guys that work at this store were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Helped me navigate the comic world and understand which comics are kid appropriate and which arent. They allowed the girls to browse and pointed them toward their interests. Well definitely be back.

May be small hard to find space but they def have the good stuff and a decent selection. Sales Representative was fantastic too. Imedetly helped as we came in even with my odd request and was quick to help others and even came back to me later to tell me some helpful information that had come to mind. You should def come here

Ive been coming here for a few years since Ive gotten into MTG. This establishment has been nothing but honest and dependable as far as quality product and customer service.Always shop local. I go for the MtG cards and boardgames. They have a good selection and nice sized play space. They also carry comics and have folks that are quite knowledgeable. They also support other games like Yugioh and CF Vanguard. This is my shop of choice in Denton. I like the people and the atmosphere.

Absolutely filthy. Doesn’t look like the place has EVER been vacuumed. Nothing is labeled. Tons of clutter. Smelly employees. Not to mention they are about 10% more expensive than the other comic stores. Honestly I’m surprised this place is making any money. Save yourself the trouble and just go to More Fun Comics on the square.

Great shop. Attentive and bend over backwards for customers. They want you to be happy with the titles you by and will answer any questions you have. Prices are reasonable (though monthly titles are set prices wherever). A good selection of games and statues. Always great talking with them and they will earn your business. You can check out other shops, and there are good ones around, but youll come back to Madness.

A textbook job of how to run a comic and game shop. The owner has struck me as very sincere and kind and his shop is filled with comics, new compilations, and statues. He has an expansive gaming area in his store. A great hangout if you are into games and comics.

My new go-to comics/games shop. Helpful and knowledgeable staff/ownership. Learned more in two trips to this shop than any amount of trips to other shops. They had what I needed at the right prices, too. Theres also a friendly Friday Night Magic community here. Going to keep going back!

I have been coming to this store since 2003, it is my favorite comic book shop in the DFW area. I live in Dallas now and still make the trip to pick up my books from this store. They have great customer service, they talk to you about your interests and provide great recommendations. I have never walked out dissatisfied with my experience even after all these years. I highly recommend taking a trip to this shop.

Denton has a few comic shops, but this might be the oldest. If you want a bunch of new memorabilia, and to be seen buying it because its trendy, go to the comic shop on the square. If you want a real comic shop run by people who live comics and have decades of experience, go to Madness.Now, Im not telling anyone to actually stay away. This isnt a hostile environment for only elitist comic fans. Thats not what Im saying. In fact, the owner was beyond kind and patient. What Im saying is this place is like the comic shops of the 80s and 90s and it has relaxed atmosphere with some sort of gaming always going on at the center tables.Plus, they were very patient setting up my pull list and have an email alert system for when new product arrives. Owner even taught me to read a barcode for printing run and variant number. And if all that wasnt enough I even picked up a Deadpool #1 (1997) for about $30 under guide value

Great shop for comics and games. If youre looking for a casual Friday night of Magic, Madness is the place. Saturday you can play Yu-Gi-Oh and other card games and theres open gaming several days a week. Jim is great and extremely knowledgeable about everything he sells.

Fantastic personal service. Top quality selection with very knowledgeable staff. Thier not just comics but statues, RPGs and Card Games as well.

Jim went out of his way today to take care of me. I showed up when he was closed and about to walk out the door and he still took the time to get me my books and check me out. He is always great with suggesting new titles or games too.

Store hours have changed. They are not open on Mondays. Their old hours are still prominently displayed on the door with another sign that is partially obscured that indicates the new hours. Google hours are out of date. I never got to visit this location that I drove 35 min to view.

Walked in today with my brother, the first time i have been tgere was today. Thw people were nice and calm and helpfull asking what we were looking for. That and they have yugioh/ magic tourneys on Saturday
