Im a huge fan of Rouses grocery! Their meat selection is far superior to any of the other local grocery options. They also have a very nice selection of wine and even a small humidor of cigars. Rouses also typically stick a wide range of local, fresh produce. Their market and baking goods are great lunch, dinner and dessert options. This grocery store really offers the best! The workers are always friendly and happy to help.

They only had one rump roast that was on sale left. They had no Del Monte vegetables that were on sale. Most of the time Im happy with their sales just not today.

The cheeses their deli and sausage are very good. They also have a decent seafood and meat department. All of their sale items are at good prices. Its cheaper than Whole Foods and much better than Wal-Mart. I received purposely hidden old ground meat from the store in Baton Rouge. Beware.

The place to get everything you want or need. Fresh produce meat deli and butcher all of the seafood and fixings you need. Delicious Bakery and wide variety of pastries. Clean store and the friendliest staff fresh flowers and herbs. A MUST go to grocery store. Yes highly recommend.

There was only one brand of vanilla wafers and they were to high to get for the baking I wanted to do, so and went to Walmart which had a bag of Vanilla wafers donle the size and much cheaper than the others.

Good sales on meat today. They had everything I needed. Plenty of registers opened. I was able to get in & out quickly with what I went for. Employees are always very polite & helpful.

I love this store, so many choices of everything! They make sushi in house, there is a big selection of cooked foods, salad bar, olive bar, bakery, butcher. The alcohol section is beyond amazing (also any place that gives samples out alcohol is okay in my book) they have so many local products as well. The pictures are of some of the different drinks that they offer. I think they could have a little bit bigger selection when it comes to the vegetarian foods, but I was able to find my 10yr old vegetarian chili for his veggie dogs there, so thats a plus!

We love Rouses butcher shop. The employees are very knowledgeable and give helpful tips on cooking the different cuts of meat. The prepared foods area is another highlight.

My husband and I ❤️❤️❤️ this Rouse’s location for it’s custom created meats! I highly recommend their Boudin stuffed pork loin roast! OMG! I seared the roast first with green onions and roasted garlic and wrapped it in foil. Baked it slow (3 hours) and low 225^. It fell apart.We also love their scrumptious 🎂 and creative desserts! There is always something here that no other market has. It is also our favorite place to find those unique gifts 🎁 for last minute celebrations.

Rouses has a large selection of almost everything. They have a large deli, butcher, & bakery. They have a nice beer & wine selection. The store is clean & the employees are friendly & helpful.

Eh, the building is nice, but the store is crowded and the fresh vegetable selection is marginal at best.

I love the store overall, but recently a few problems have arisen in service levels. Advertised items out on day 1, slow to restock. Covid19 isn’t the problem if you only go with shelf stock for a hot ad, poor projections. (Former retail district manager speaking).A big issue is incorrect pricing in the beer area. I have to take a picture with my phone to support the price posted as it’s seldom correct. Staff is not diligent in removing past promotion signs. Many times this causes overcharge at checkout. Frustrating as I’ve brought it up previously. It’s easy to fix and store manager should walk this area weekly to review.Again, like the store, just a couple of easy to fix issues.

Always Great Service with many many Local brands. Try the In House Roast Beef or Turkey Breast from the deli for a Delicious Treat

Love being able to run in and look at prepared food options for dinner. They offer a wide variety of options for the health conscious as well as the naughty. The supermarket section is nice and well stocked. The bakery section is dangerous.... for those on diets.

Asked the guy about boiled shrimp. He said he had to soak the crawfish and then he would have some shrimp. Maybe another 20-25 minutes. I left and went to another store in the same shopping center and came back 30 minutes later. No shrimp. I walked around getting other things for 15-20 minutes and came back. No shrimp. I stood in the seafood section for another 20 minutes right in front of the worker. He never said a word and was cleaning up. When I asked for the shrimp, he said that department was getting ready to close for the night and he couldn’t do anything else. This was at 6:50 pm! I waited over an hour and he knew I was waiting and purposely lied and played around talking on the phone instead of simply doing his job and taking the five minutes to give a customer what he said he was going to! Also, his pants were below his behind the entire time. I don’t want to see the butt crack or underwear of the person cooking the food. Last time I go inside this rouses!

I personally use a 2 prong attack when shopping for groceries. First I almost never buy all of the groceries at one location. Only purchase the items that you know you’re getting a good deal on.Then go to another store.It’s a hassle but it will save you tons.What works for me is Rouses/Target or Rouses/Sam’s -Walmart.

Noone was wearing a mask. Opened and unprotected salad bar! A small child running around coughing ALL OVER everything! Not in her arm and not wearing a mask the whole family was coughing and they were all hanging over and around the buffet food and deli bakery..I RAN from that side of the store. I made it to the butcher department where I was ignored until a very nice gentleman customer told the young man I had been trying to get his attention. To to it all off when we first arrived every single scooter was dead. My husband plugged then all up so they would at least get some charge. Thank goodness I had my own personal scooter and my husband with me to get it out. Otherwise I would have had to go to another store.

Love love love rouses! Always clean and nice! All of the employees are nice and always smile. They have organic food, Asian food and nice bulk section. If you are into alcohol, they have a big section for that!

A newer store delivering the future of grocery shopping. Separate areas for Foodservice, perishables and packaged goods. Great focus on local sourcing, especially for Louisiana produce and seafood. Very proud of their Italian heritage, which is reflected in their deli and fresh food offers. Modern design, well-staffed and shopper-friendly.

My daughter went into Rouses this evening and had to leave because no one was wearing a mask...not even the workers. We are trying to do our part to get pass this pandemic. I just wish everyone else would too :(

Nice grocery store but it was packed and all aisles and walkways are narrow. The area behind the checkouts were totally blocked by those waiting to pay for their groceries.

This is where you shop if you love Louisiana products. Rouses is LOUISIANA. Love love love. The bakery is to die for and great selection of unique cheeses and meats. Great hot bar also. Go see for yourself you wont be disappointed. Try the Doberge cake OMG. Been eating them since my childhood.And the most extensive selection of beers and wines in all the parish.

Crowded and unorganized, slow check out lines and store wasnt designed to handle a crowd. People are snobbish in the store and act like they are the only ones to shop. Alot of products were out especially sale items which is poorly managed to have enough supply. Took 1 hour to shop and ended up with 7 items. That is completely ridiculous just to shop!

Good distancing overall. Sales items plentiful and great price. I was charged for beefsteak tomatoes when they had been in a bin marked creole ($3/lb more expensive). Pleasant experience.

I love rouses and often take the drive of an extra 15 minutes to shop here. But on my last visit yesterday, there were multiple people (I counted 11) not wearing masks inside the store. We’re in a pandemic and I don’t plan on returning anytime soon. The environment felt very unsafe and unsanitary.

I just left the Juban Crossing location with total disappointment. I felt as if I were about to be attacked. After checking out in line, I walked over to Customer Service to purchase cigarettes and noticed that there was no one behind the counter. I told my husband that no one was there as usual. As soon as I made the comment, RACHEL was standing behind me and huffed at my comment and said in a very nasty tone, “I’m right here”. After here rude scoff, I asked her name and she bullishly said it was Rachel. I honestly thought I would need boxing gloves. I felt threatened. I got to my car and called the store. I asked for the Store Manager and a gentleman said that his name was Chris and the manager. After relaying to him what happened, he then said he would inform the store Manager, Michelle. What is going on in this store? I try not to make it a habit to spend $2K or more a month to be treated so badly. I truly do not expect a call because of the unprofessionalism that the Juban Crossing Store has displayed. What a shame, I have shopped at Rouses different locations for years and I have never been treated so badly.
