I was told about this donut shop (rave reviews) and looked forward to visiting with great anticipation. I drove from Ann Arbor on a Sunday morning. The donuts and coffee were fine. The staff member that “helped” me was disinterested and could care less. She was not welcoming and her attitude was poor. Overall my experience was marginal…. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Best donuts in Metro-Detroit, next to Dutch Girl Donuts. Made fresh every day. They offer a variety of flavors. The atmosphere inside is very welcoming and familiar. Almost like visiting an old relatives house. Nostalgic and peaceful. A nice quiet place to cozy up with a warm cup of coffee and a new library book.

Hands down, my favorite donut shop! Not because they make donuts overly fancy, but because they make simple donuts that taste amazing! Their large fancy cuts include apple fritters, cherry fritters, cinnamon buns, and bowties. They are 24/7, which is another reason I love them; working night shift in EMS is better when you can stop for a late night treat!

I know nobody cares anymore, but I personally don’t eat at places where the food sits out in the open and the employees aren’t wearing masks, hair nets or tied back, gloves, etc. Just seems unsanitary to me but it’s cool, I’m only one person. Won’t make a difference. Mom and pop places are great and all, but I will go out of my way to a franchise that has sanitation rules and regulations to follow.

They have some really good donuts. I like the honey dip, and sugar raise.

A family favorite and definitely Dearborn’s very best. Hands down no competition. Always fresh! Made fresh each day and over the course of the day. So much love in these donuts. If you’re like me and you like to have something sweet once in a while, but it has to be the Best. Then this is easily headed towards the top of your list. They put all the commercial donut shops to shame. Fast, Friendly service EVERY time. To start, I cannot even begin to describe the sheer horror that struck my body upon entering the restroom - it was putrid, degrading, and fecal. Furthermore, I was APPALLED with the customer service that was provided to me and my friends. Good doughnuts though🙈❤️

The place is clean and everything is fresh. The customer service is great and they were very professional. The service was quick and they practice the CDC guidelines.

First time here as I try to come here a couple weeks ago and they were closed after I got there at 11:00 p.m. due to a shortage of Staff which is understandable when I came here on a Saturday around 4:00 there wasnt very much selection but luckily I asked and they brought out some fresh Honey Dipped Donuts those are the ones that majority of them I went with overall highly recommend this establishment very nostalgic donut shop.

1st time here. Went on Saturday at 7pm.. fresh donuts still being made!! We are very picky. And these are literally, our new favorite! Light. Fluffy. Just plain perfect! And as far as the old decor is concerned, we think it is charming! In part because we love nostalgia and also because it is still very clean. So its an old fashioned feeling without feeling old. Well done!!(Honey glazed are huge!!)

Easily the best in this area for old school real donuts.Why would you get Crispy Cream or Dunkin when these are a choice? Really, get both D USA and the kind you usually get. Sit with a friend. One of the best donut shops in America? Rivals Donut Dip of West Springfield, MA. Went in on a Monday afternoon, donuts tasted like they were just made. Just the right volume and fluff.

This place is a go to for my family that stays in Detroit. Very local place and coffee is what they come and get almost daily. The ambiance is very chill and laid back, mostly just locals who look at you like where are you from and why are you coming here.😅 the coffee is worth the trip. We went at about 12pm and thats why the donuts were mainly gone. If you have the time I say come try the coffee I do love how local it felt.

Stopped by excited for a treat in early May 2020. I dutifully masked up and went in. Was served by a lady wearing no mask and no gloves, which is extremely irresponsible right now. I unfortunately decided by the time I got home, that no delicious donut is worth getting sick over. Disappointed in this business’ carelessness during the pandemic.

Use to love coming here but ever since they hired these younger girls (literally kids) it really fell off. There’s barley ever fresh pots of coffee usually you’ll make a pot as soon as it seems like the pot is running low but nope they make sure there down to the last drop before making a new one. Also please wash your hands before you make our coffee or give us our change back! I literally have to sit there wiping donut powder off of my cup and money cause they just seem to come out the back and just straight away serve the customers. I miss having the older ladies there, they really knew what they were doing. But still the owner son Luke is a good kid and so are his buddies that work there. The younger boys always have a fresh pot brewing and really take care of their regulars I just hope ownership steps up and let the girls know that they should really focus on having everything ready rather than race to the back just to get back on their phone. But still when done right this place has the best coffee and doughnut combo in all of Michigan

Classic old school donut shop w/ great coffee

I loved this place but last time I went they refused to sell me French Crullers. They were sold out up front, so I asked if they had any in the back. The attendant came through the door with a full tray only to return to the back coming out with no donuts in hand. He told me he was unable to sell those to me under the reasoning that the tray in the back as for the next day. It was around 9:30 am on Saturday so i’m very surprised that their donuts sit for that long before they sell them. I haven’t been back since.

The donuts were fresh and plentiful. The staff was friendly and all the regulars recommended this place. I tried the cinnamon roll and loved how soft it was and sweet. You can also buy Day old donuts for $3 a bag! What a steal if you’d like to try several doughnuts at at time. The bag was packed with several kind.

This place is awesome! Open 24 hours so its perfect for your munchies run. Their donuts are so soft and fluffy! Me and my girlfriend split a half dozen and immediately regretted not getting a full dozen. The staff was very casual and friendly. there appeared to be regulars there having donuts, coffee, and a conversation even though we arrived around 12:30am.

We got there in the afternoon to find most selections gone already but the ones we got were still very delicious and fresh. Its a small, 50s diner-feeling place with coffee to accompany your donut. Not very good views.
